Malawi Assemblies of God – 2022 General Assembly
Father we honour you, we adore you, we magnify you, we glorify you, be glorified and be honoured in the name of Jesus.
Tonight, I want to honour the presence of Almighty God who has given us the opportunity to be here tonight. The privilege of knowing Him, the privilege of serving and loving Him. We honour Him. We want to specially honour the President of our Country – His Excellency, Doctor Lazarus Chakwera. We appreciate the fact that godly leadership brings change to a nation and we believe that it is the beginning of great things in this nation. We appreciate you, Mama as well.
Please tonight don’t be in a hurry. Even though if I follow what the Vice President said, we will not leave here tomorrow morning. So, we are going to go as sharp as we can tonight. The Word is going to come very sharp, the healings, the miracles will come very sharp, and we are going to trust God for this nation.
- I sense something new in the nation of Malawi.
- I sense the devils packing their loads tonight.
- I sense the forces of hell packing their loads tonight! If you believe that shout the loudest, Amen!
Father we thank you, be glorified Lord, breathe upon your Word like never before in Jesus’ precious name. Give the Lord the praise as you take your seat.
Very very quickly, I am going to speak on the subject, JESUS CHRIST – THE LIGHT. Yesterday we saw, JESUS CHRIST – THE DIFFERENCE MAKER. Tonight we are seeing Jesus Christ – The Light. And we shall experience His light tonight. In John 1:1-5, the Lord bless His Word in Jesus’ name. Our objective tonight is to understand the assignment of Jesus as light. And we are going to understand this right from creation because in the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth, and the Earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, and God said, Let there be light and there was light. That light heralded many things that happened at creation. And we just got to know now that that light is a person; His name is Jesus.
- I see that light visiting somebody’s life here tonight!
- I see that light invading the nation of Malawi tonight!
WHAT IS THE ASSIGNMENT OF THIS LIGHT?
- Light brings hope: light means hope. In the midst of darkness, the arrival of light is the arrival of hope. That was why it said in Psalm 13:3, “Lighten my eyes so that I don’t sleep the sleep of death.” Light means hope.
I came across some experiment sometime ago, where some rabbits were put inside some container like a drum. One of those containers was covered – no light. The other one was open – there was light. It was discovered that the rats that were in the container that had no light, they struggled to come out for a while, after a while they lost hope and began to die. The ones that saw light, for as long as they continued to see light, they lived much much longer than those who never saw light. The arrival of light is the arrival of hope.
- I am here to speak to Malawi, there is hope for the nation!
- I am here to announce to somebody, there is hope for your life, there is hope for your family; because Jesus is here!
- Light means a new beginning: at creation, light arrived to spark a new beginning. Nothing could start until God said, “Light appear.” Until the light came, nothing began. Anywhere Jesus steps in something begins. When He steps into your life, something begins afresh. When he steps into your family something begins anew. When He steps into a nation, something begins afresh. I am here to announce that something is beginning in somebody’s life.
- I am here to prophesy a new beginning for Malawi; you believe that shout the loudest Amen.
- Light equals the arrest of darkness: what is darkness? The forces of wickedness; the forces of witchcraft; the forces of the occult; the forces of affliction; the forces of the enemy. And I am not here just to preach right now. I am prophesying and I am preaching; so I am Prophepreaching; I am Preachsying. So I am here to announce to somebody, bad news for the powers of darkness in Malawi. There is bad news for the powers of darkness in this land. There is bad news for the witch craft kingdom. There is bad news for the occult realm. There is bad news for the dark powers. Jesus is taking over! The light of Jesus is taking over! Somebody shout, “Power!”
- Every altar from your family, every ancestral generational witchcraft altar, fighting your life, your destiny, the destiny of this land, I stand here by an Apostolic and Prophetic mantle, and I declare they are set on fire! These altars are destroyed tonight.
- Their agenda is over over the land. You believe that shout the loudest Amen.
Somebody say, “Light be!” Give the Lord the praise and take your seat.
