Third Service on Sunday (Part A)
Shall we lift our hands to Heaven everybody, let’s give glory to God this morning. Appreciate Him from the depth of your heart, give Him the praise, and give Him the glory. Give the honour and the adoration unto Him. Church Gist. Make sure your voice of thanksgiving is registered before the Lord this morning. As you give Him thanks, you give Him praise.
Now begin to ask Him to speak to you this morning. It is our Covenant Day of Breaking Generational Curses, every negative cycle must be broken today. Our Father this morning we thank you and give you the praise for the privilege and blessing of being in your presence. Church Gist. Thank you for all that you have done. Lord, this morning we have come before you yet again, you have called this service our breaking generational curses service, let every curse, every siege, upon any life, and family, any lineage represented here today be shattered forever!
Let this day be for each one of us our day of liberty. Send your Word with power and let everyone of our lives be transformed. Church Gist. We give all the praise and glory to you in Jesus Precious name we have prayed. Give Jesus a big hand and please be seated in His presence. Praise the Lord I am More Than a Conqueror! Congratulations, Amen and Amen.
Our teaching series in our Sunday services this month has been, “WALKING IN DOMINION OVER SICKNESS AND DISEASE.”
- By the encounters you are having this month, sickness and disease shall never again have dominion over you.
- From this season onwards, you are walking totally free from sickness and disease.
God’s word makes it clear that every child of God is ordained for dominion over sickness and over disease. Matthew 8:17. So, among the privileged assignments that Jesus came to carry out on our behalf is to execute our liberty from sickness and disease. But the dominion that God has ordained for us to experience can only be exercised via the mysteries unveiled to us. Church Gist. In Ephesians 3:9-10, so the mysteries of God are the channels through which He exhibits His many-sided wisdom that tackles ever confrontation of principalities and powers. No matter what it is that the enemy orchestrates, the mysteries of the kingdom are sufficient to dominate them.
- I do not know what manipulations of the enemy may have been confronting you particularly in your health, but today as the mysteries of God are unveiled in your direction, every such manipulation shall be cheaply dominated.
God’s servant described mystery. He said, “The mystery is a hidden kingdom treasure unveiled only to the redeemed.” Matthew 13:44. Kingdom mysteries can simply be described as hidden treasures that are unveiled only to the redeemed. Secondly, a mystery is a divine secret embedded in Scriptures for our dominion. Church Gist. In other words, the Word of God is loaded with secrets of God for you and for me and as they are unveiled to us, we begin to experience dominion in every facet in which they are unveiled. So as the mysteries of God are unveiled to us, dominion begins to grow in that area to which we have seen that insight.
- I pray that for us this morning, our eyes will be opened to the mysteries of God.
- As these kingdom mysteries are revealed to us, I see each one of us experiencing supernatural dominion.
But before we begin to explore the mysteries, let’s look at some of the spirits that are behind diverse sicknesses and diseases. We have been exploring these in the course of this month and this morning we are going to look at 2 more.
1) The spirit of whoredoms: Hosea 5:4. The spirit of whoredoms is what you will refer to as the habit of sexual perversion. This perversion is what we see that is responsible for the destruction of many in our day and age. In 1 Corinthians 10:8, by this perversion, sexual immorality, it said 23,000 of them fell in one day. Church Gist. Today look across the globe and look at the spate of sexually transmitted diseases that are destroying many across the globe. That is one of the channels through which you find the enemy destroying many great destinies.
- But today, whatever manifests in any life as this spirit of whoredoms, by the encounter you are having you are free in the name of Jesus.
In Proverbs 5:7-11, that is one of the destructive elements of the enemy in these last days. Church Gist. But the Word of God makes it very clear that if a wicked man turns away from his wickedness, it said, God will bless him in the righteousness in which he has found him. In other words, it is never too late to turn. When you turn, it becomes your turn. - For somebody here today, as you turn away from that operation of this spirit of whoredoms, I see your liberty from every health issue in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.
So there is what the Bible refers to as the spirit of whoredoms.
2) The spirit of heaviness: Isaiah 61:3. We live in a world today where this is very prevalent. We see individuals across the globe under the spate of what many today call mental health issues. Prevalent among them is depression. And like God’s servant would say, “you cannot be oppressed until you are first depressed.” Church Gist. The enemy seeks to just depress them and the instrument that he uses is this spirit of heaviness. You find an individual that just wakes up and suicidal thoughts continue to bombard the mind. You find individuals that are just cast down in their inner man. They can’t tell what is wrong. Everything around them just seems not to make sense anymore. That is the spirit of heaviness.
- Today, that spirit of heaviness that has rested on any life shall be lifted in the name of Jesus.
Proverbs 17:22. So the moment there is heaviness, you discover that there is devastation in health and well being. The second part of that Scripture says, “but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” So the very bones, it affects you through your entire system even all the way to the very bones. Church Gist. That is why you and I must understand that there must be no room given for the spirit of heaviness in any one’s life. And that is among what God has brought us into His presence today to do: to cast out that spirit in order to bring you and I to the realm of joy and rejoicing.
- For somebody here, I see the spirit of joy coming afresh upon your life.
HOW DOES THE ANOINTING OIL EMPOWER US FOR DOMINION OVER SICKNESS AND DISEASE?
It is important that we are reminded that the mystery of the anointing oil was unveiled in the Old Testament and is ordained for effectiveness through all generations. Exodus 30:25 – 31. Church Gist. We see how the anointing oil was put as a natural product but then, by the blessing that was invoked upon it, it became a spiritual product; an instrument of power. And the Word of God says in verses 30 and 31, that it is ordained for impact in all generations for God’s covenant people. That means that that oil has the capacity to deliver on your own behalf.
- Today, the anointing will work on your behalf.
From Scriptures it is clear that it is a spiritual medium through which the Holy Spirit manifests Himself in our lives. 1 Samuel 16:13.
WHAT IS IN THE ANOINTING OIL THAT HEALS?
1) The healing power of God is in the oil: Mark 6:7, 12-13. So what He gave them that they called power was the oil. And they went around and cast out devils and anointed many that were sick and healed them. Church Gist. So the anointing oil carries in it the healing power of God. James 5:14-15. It is the channel through which God transmits His healing power. That means that whatever God can heal, the oil is the instrument through which He can do it.
You saw that little child that was brought on this altar, 4 years of that growth, continuously growing and growing, and the pain increasing in intensity. Church Gist. But as they began to apply this oil upon this little child, instantly you saw that the growth disappeared; that is, there is nothing left there called growth. It has been uprooted by the power of God. That is what the anointing has to offer.
- Today as the anointing oil will come upon you, whatever God can heal will be healed by the power.
Now the question is this: “is there anything too hard for the Lord?” No! So that means there is no condition through which this oil cannot establish your liberty. Church Gist. I like you therefore to be rest assured this morning that you are departing from this service with your miracle in your hand.
2) The yoke destroying power of God: Isaiah 10:27. When the Word of God uses the word DESTROY it means scattered beyond recovery. That means whatever the anointing destroys cannot return. The Bible says, affliction shall not rise again a second time. That means that today, as that yoke of affliction is destroyed by the anointing that yoke shall never return again. Church Gist. That is why it didn’t say the yoke shall be broken; it said the yoke shall be destroyed. When something is broken it can be repaired; but when it is destroyed it cannot be reassembled. It has been shattered beyond reassembling. That is what the oil carries – the yoke destroying power of God.
- Whatever has kept you yoked, tied down afflicted, tormented, buffeted, by the anointing today, that yoke shall be destroyed.
3) The exemption power of God: Psalm 105:10-15; 1 Peter 1:5; Ephesians 1:13. There is a coverage that is enacted by the instrumentality of the anointing. It makes you a touch not entity. That means that no matter what is afflicting others, it is not permitted to afflict you. May be in your generation there has been a repetition of a particular plague, high blood pressure, hypertension, cancer from one generation to the other, by the anointing today you shall be exempted. Church Gist. May be diabetes from one generation to the other, whatever the condition may have been that has been travelling freely from one generation to the other within your family, by the anointing today, that siege shall be terminated.
Our God knows how to selectively protect His own people. And one of the instruments through which He does it is by the instrument of the anointing.
- As the oil will come upon you today, wherever evil is located, any assault of the enemy is found, this anointing will separate you from it. And this is important because the Bible makes us to understand that the whole world lies in wickedness. 1 John 5:19; Psalm 74:20. Church Gist. That is what you find the enemy seeking to inflict. But there is a plan with God to package you for exemption from every such negative occurrence. And for you after today, that shall become your experience.
