Luke 15:8
- Fires are incineration agents, eradication, combustion. You use fire to burn up things. Incineration agents, elimination agents. Church Gist. You don’t like the garbage, the rubbish, set it on fire, you burn them off. You use fire to burn things that are not needed. For me, what it means is that, fires are agents of judgment and vengeance. Whatever needs to be judged, you sentence it to the fire. Church Gist. When God wanted to judge Sodom and Gomorrah, he surrendered them to the fire.
When you are a flaming fire, every agent of the devil is unsafe where you are. Forces of darkness are unsafe where ever you are. Church Gist. You arrive to disappear them. Somebody say Amen?
One day, a guy invited me to come and preach in his “church”, you know what I mean by “church”? While we were praying with my wife, she saw an altar that is not of God in that altar, a demonic altar, “church”. Church Gist. People, crowd were going, people who won’t go to normal churches will go there, I mean diehard criminals, all manner of people, people of the other religion who will not care about God, they will attend that one and he had all manner of visions and revelations and everything for them. Church Gist. And we were praying, and my wife saw another altar on that altar. You know what I told myself? My reaction was “I can’t identify myself with that kind of place so that nobody thinks we are the same”, then on the second thought, I said, “this guy knows who I am, he knows we are not the same and he wants me to still come to identify with him, maybe for endorsement or anything, to just let people know, if this person can come here, it means we are the same”. Church Gist. You know what I said, “I am going there to close down the place, I will be a fire on that altar and burn down everything”. So I went there and stepped on that altar, within the first 5 minutes of preaching, he must have regretted inviting me because I was cursing everything that is of the devil. Church Gist. The altar closed, it’s gone forever, doesn’t exist.
One man came and visited from the east of Nigeria and he said to me that He served in that ministry and then sitting down hearing and he was seeing terrible things as God opened his eyes, he was seeing all the demonic things in that place and he was praying in that place that day before I went there and said, “Lord, will you allow a place like this to continue? Church Gist. To continue to deceive people?” His mother inlaw was in that church and God told him, “don’t worry, I’d soon send my servant to end it”. Church Gist. I never knew, he came later on to tell me about his encounter.
When you are a fire, your arrival is the doom of hell. It takes Heaven’s fire to fight hell fire. It is fire versus fire. It takes Holy fire to handle hell’s fire, am I speaking to somebody here?
- I believe there’s somebody listening to the sound of my voice, on your arrival from this conference, when you step into your community, the altars are set on fire. When you arrive in your nation, the altars are set on fire. Should the loudest Amen.
- Stand on your feet with the loudest shout of Amen.
- Say after me, “I am a flaming fire, a light carrier, a light bearer, a joy giver, a hope giver, a warmth provider, a strength giver, life cleanser, I’m a restoration agent, I am an eradication agent, where anything needs to be cleared out, I am available”. Shout the loudest Amen.
- Fires are attraction agents. Whether you like it or not, there is some beauty to fire. Church Gist. There’s just some beauty to fire apart from the fact that there’s a fire, there’s an emergency and people are gathered, yet, there’s that beauty to fire that makes fire to be in a class of its own. Fire is colourful, isn’t it? Church Gist. I know that some many colours are inside fire – blue, red, almost the colours of the rainbow, literally. Beautiful, colourful.
- God has made your life to be colourful and to add colour.
How many of us in all humility, since God connected you to this fire centre, it added colour to your life, your destiny, your ministry? Church Gist. If not for God, who dash monkey banana? I see people who thought couldn’t get married, get married, got settled, people they thought won’t amount to anything. You cannot be colourless in a fire centre. Church Gist. Your life is meant to beautify other people’s lives.
The other day, we got some of those who travelled with us, visas I believe can cover almost 20+ countries. They didn’t need to appear anywhere. Church Gist. Some haven’t crossed Lagos. When we were growing up, we struggle small to get visa, they have no struggle. We struggled their struggle. We fought their fight.
