IN THE JOURNEY OF LIFE THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT PEOPLE SEEM TO VALUE BUT NOBODY VALUES ANYTHING ABOVE THEIR LIFE.
GOD VALUES SOULS SO MUCH THAT HE GAVE HIS BLOOD.
IT MEANS THAT FOR ANYONE WHO IS IN THE ENGAGEMENT OF WINNING SOULS, THERE IS NOTHING GOD WILL NOT PAY THAT PERSON.
THE GREATEST INVESTMENT THAT CAN BE MADE IS SPIRITUAL INVESTMENT.

Our Father this morning we thank you for the blessing and privilege of being in your presence. Thank you for all you have done for us. For the testimonies of your mighty hand, we are grateful. For always hearing us and answering us we say thank you. Lord this morning our eyes are on you, we ask that you speak to us and that your word will transform each one of us. Thank you because it is done in Jesus’ precious name.
This morning we are reminded from the word of God that serving God is not a mere religious activity, nor is it a hobby but serving God is a big-time business. Luke 2:49, Romans 12:11-12. Serving God is a big-time business and part of the reason is that serving God will make a giant out of any believer. Church Gist. Psalm 89:20-24. That is “I have found him as a servant and I will exalt him into greatness”. 2 Samuel 18:3 – a giant made out of a servant. We need to understand that serving God is the key to emerging as a giant. That is why serving God can be said to be a big time business for every believer.
That is why this week we are going to be looking at this line of exhortation captioned: SPIRITUAL STEWARDSHIP PAYS THE MOST. Why is that vital? Because if you sow to the flesh you will of the flesh reap corruption, if you sow to the spirit you will of the spirit reap life everlasting. So the outcome of spiritual stewardship cannot be compared to any other form of stewardship. Church Gist. The greatest investment that can be made is spiritual investment. Advancing the kingdom of God is the epitome of spiritual investment. Therefore we are going to be looking at this all through the week and I believe God it is going to be a week of light. God will send His light in our direction and grant us grace to put that light to work.
This morning we are going to look specifically at the fact that soul winning is a spiritual gold mine. Matthew 16:26. By definition, value is the amount you are willing to exchange for a good or service. Here the Bible makes us understand that there is nothing on earth that is equal in value for a soul. He said if you gather the entire world as a whole and you want to pay for a soul it is not sufficient. That shows you the value of a soul from a divine perspective. In the journey of life there are many things that people seem to value but In reality, nobody values a thing above his life. Some years ago, a man called me and said Pastor I am in trouble, I said what is the problem? He said years ago he was having some challenges and he went to meet some people and they took him to a place to do rituals. When the thing was to be done, they told him this ritual: you will get money but you will not live long. He said no problem, let’s do it. So he did it and then money was coming small-small. Church Gist. So they called him and asked him if he had started seeing the money, he said yes! They said remember we told you, you won’t live long? Now the year has come for you to die. When they told him that, he said everything around him lost value. He discovered that with all the things he had gathered, life was more valuable than it.
There is nothing more valuable than life. That is why there is nothing more valuable than a soul. If that is the perspective of man, imagine the perspective of God. John 3:16. God values souls so much that He gave His son. Acts 20:28. Church Gist. There was nothing on earth worth one soul so God gave His own blood for it. Church Gist. What does that mean? It means that for anyone who is in the engagement of winning souls, there is nothing God will not pay that person. When you know the value of a thing, there is nothing you are unwilling to pay for it.
Matthew 13:44.
He went to sell everything he had and bought the field because he knows that the value is not in the land quality but the content under it. He knows there is treasure there so he sells everything that he has. To him, the land is very valuable because of the treasure buried inside of it. That is what God is showing us concerning soul winning. When it comes to the winning of souls, a soul is worth everything, so God will pay anything. The good news is that every one that is a believer is ordained as a soul winner. John 15:16. Because it is worth everything, God will pay anything. We are told also in scripture that in order for us to be effective in this assignment God has given us the necessary equipment in the Holy Ghost. He has empowered us by the Holy Spirit to be witnesses of Christ. Acts 1:8. God is not only willing to pay anything, He gives us every equipment we require. Church Gist. Every equipment we require for us to be effective soul winners is embodied in the Holy Ghost. This is the value that God places on one soul. That is why you and I must understand that our principal responsibility on earth is to be active on the harvest field. We have been empowered by the Holy Spirit for this assignment and God is willing to pay just anything for those who are going after souls because to him a soul is worth anything.
Take note of this as we conclude, you are rewarded for results obtained not for efforts made. It is not the efforts you make that determines your rewards. It is the results you obtain. The souls that are genuinely harvested are the ones that determine your reward. Proverbs 11:30, 3:35. He that winneth souls are wise not he that tries to win souls. Church Gist. Daniel 12:3. It is all about results, when our engagement produces results, it will attract rewards. So let us go for results. You don’t pursue rewards, you go for results and the results will attract rewards. I see every one of us receiving grace in our engagement. As you engage, watch God will decorate you in every area of your life.
Prayers: Lord I receive from you the grace required to be result focused in my engagements.
Make your declarations concerning the day. Whatever you declare God will deliver so speak to it right now. Speak to your day and speak to your week.

- All through this day, all through this week, only blessings shall be trailing you.
- We declare that there shall be no negative reports this week.
- This week whatever you put your mind to doing will work for you. Nothing is permitted to fail in your hand this week.
- It shall be for you a breakthrough week, a favour-loaded week in the name of Jesus.
