YOU WON’T NEED TO BEG GOD IF YOU WALK IN OBEDIENCE TO ALL HE COMMANDS.
GOD IS ENOUGH FOR ANYONE WHO CARES TO TRUST HIM
TO TAKE GOD FOR GRANTED IS TO BE GROUNDED.
NO ONE UNDER THE SUN CAN MANAGE YOUR LIFE BETTER THAN THE ONE WHO GAVE IT TO YOU.
- Bishop David Oyedepo at Covenant Hour of Prayer|| September 10th 2022. Heavenly Father, thank you for another day. Take all the glory. By your word this morning move everyone forward, let your favour locate each one and let your name be glorified.
Philippians 4:4, 1 Thessalonians 5:16.
Let joy and rejoicing become your new lifestyle because of the amazing hidden blessings that are therein. Philippians 3:1.
Very importantly, it takes joy and rejoicing to retain God’s presence. No one ever loses a battle with God’s presence with him. So what this ancient strategist full of subtlety does is to get God off your path so he can make a meal’s meat of the individual. He can’t handle you and me with God on our side. So he wants God off our sight so he can trample us under feet. He has such a capacity for deception that he can deceive the whole world. Church Gist. He grounded the world to a standstill under the guise of Covid-19. All lingering economies just crashed. We had our share of it. He is so old in the stuff that you have to be spiritually smart not to become his victim. He couldn’t deal with the prodigal son until he got him off his father’s house. He is very used to the business. That is the only thing he does. He has lost all the power, he is left with deceptions, devices, and tricks. You better rejoice always.
If God can really help you, He should have helped you by now. You better come on my side. You know my own is not like what they are preaching, when you bring a human head, you bring one leg of a boy, one leg of a girl and I grind them together, you just excel in life. Poor devil! He can’t get that done without stealing your joy and tricking you into negative reflections. Philippians 4:4. Church Gist. Psalm 11:4:4-7. Troubles tremble at His presence. The author of troubles trembles at His presence. He wants God off your back so he can have free access to torment, torture and humiliate you. Get smarter my friend. No one under the sun can manage your life better than the one who gave it.
Satan has a manifesto and you should be aware of it. His mission is to kill, steal and destroy. He cannot steal without deceiving you. Wake up my friend and rejoice. Somebody once asked me Brother David do you have any problems, I said maybe it came and I didn’t know. During the construction of the Faith Tabernacle three of the trusses, one evil wind came and pushed all three. They came down at the same time. Now each of them is equal to a building. I said I hope no one is hurt, they said no one is hurt. I said praise the Lord. Hallelujah!. How much will it cost? I don’t know till today. This Tabernacle will be dedicated on September 18th. Church Gist. Why worry about the cost if you are not the one paying for it? Your only way forward is to keep God on your side. Your only way forward is to retain God’s presence with you. Satan is so frustrated down here because nobody recognizes him. I said many years ago I said God said I am the reason why you have not lost anything. So come on now, celebrate and don’t lose any more. Somebody stole my thing, I said I thank God I am not the one who stole somebody’s thing. Which one is better to have your thing stolen or for you to steal somebody’s thing? No joy no devil must be allowed to take away.
It takes joy and rejoicing to commit God to opening our prison gates. If you don’t want to die in prison then praise your way out of it. Paul and Silas prayed as they sang, the Holy Ghost came down. He came down and turned them into celebrities overnight. If you want to come out of that unwanted situation, God’s covenant prescription is to praise your way out of it. Habakkuk 3:17-19. Do you want a change of story? Praise your way into it. Do you want next levels of breakthroughs? Praise your way into it. Acts 16:25-30. We saw how Paul and Silas came out of the prison in grand style and the jailer said “Sir, what must I do to be saved”. Church Gist. They became Sirs. Sorry, you are not in Anglican. When you become Sir. You have arrived. That is the peak of the spiritual hierarchy. Not all these Sir they throw around in the office. Real Sir, Sir John… You have escaped. God is changing your name, changing your level.
Refuse to be offended with God, if you are offended with your helper where will your help come from? God is enough for anyone who cares to trust Him.
You are coming out of that depression now. Somebody’s story is finally changing.
I decree that every of your stewardship returns with blessings.
I decree the arrival of your days of open rewards. The Lord shall bless us and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.
Now begin to experience a fearful order of blessings in every area of your life. Church Gist. Fearful order of blessings in your business and career, fearful order of blessings in your family, fearful order of blessings in your health, fearful order of blessings in your finances.
Let me show you something that will help you all the days of your life. You won’t need to beg God if you walk in obedience to all He commands. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. Seek access to the realm where you don’t have to call for these things where they just come to you and overtake you. Many are in that realm in this church and many more will join them. The realm where things just come to you. There is no more fulfilling realm than that realm. I have checked all the things God has added to me over the years, there was none I asked for. One day I said won’t you be patient for someone to pray before you answer because I am amazed. Church Gist. This praise platform that ushers men into realms of fearful blessings becomes your new residence in the name of Jesus. We never had a budget when God built the Faith Tabernacle. We just give God thanks and 80 million will surface the following day, no service. These are not tricks. They are not tricks. When I was on #300 we didn’t pray for food. You diligently hearken to my voice and do what I say to do, all these blessings will come and overtake you.
I, therefore, decree your access to that realm of colour. That realm of beauty. Your life will not be a prayer project anymore. You can’t have God on your side who on His right hand there is pleasure forever and in His presence there is fullness of joy, no pressure. That presence resides with us with a lifestyle of praise. I pray this season marks the end of all forms of pressure around your life. Church Gist. One characteristic of God is that until you acknowledge Him for the present you are not on His list for the future. Were there not ten cleansed? They were only cleansed, they couldn’t be made whole because they won’t return but one returned with a loud voice glorifying God. The next is not in view until the last is acknowledged. What a God we serve. All these assuming God’s blessings are why we are where we are. To take God for granted is to be grounded.
Prayers: Lord, I want grace to access that realm where blessings come to people and they don’t cry for it. The realm where pressures are alleviated. Church Gist. I want access to that realm. Many believers around the world are in that realm already. This Commission operates in that realm.
Never get tired of obedience. We embarked on this journey in 1984 March. 2084 we will be there, 3084 we will be there, if Jesus returns we will be there. Until you are tired of breathing don’t ever get tired of obeying God. Church Gist. When you stop tithing, you find things just getting tighter and tighter. Before long you say I better try ogboni. Keep obeying, this obedience pays us.
