Raise your hands ” Lord, I am next in line for my mind-blowing testimony and a wonder turnaround, suspend protocols for my sake, change decisions in my favour, reverse situations for my good”
Hallelujah. Do you know the year is not yet over? God is exceedingly abundantly above. Church Gist. May yours happen suddenly in Jesus’ name.
“If thou canst believe”, how many things are possible? All things are possible to him that says “it’s not yet over”, God is still on the throne. Proverbs 23:18. What are you expecting? Can I tell you something? There’s no future for the complainer. Church Gist. Do you know that they were suffering already in the wilderness, then, they added murmuring to it, God didn’t show sympathy, He sent destroyers. Your murmuring concludes that God is faithful and that God has failed. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, the fire is right in front of them, they’re still talking faith. God said, “come on, I’ll show up for these people”. That last minute, everything is over, they’re still talking faith. Daniel is still giving thanks, about to be thrown to the Lion’s den. Church Gist. Daniel is still giving thanks, right inside the Lion’s den, a miracle happened. Can I tell you something? It doesn’t matter what man’s verdict says, God still has the final say.
- lift your hands once more, “Lord, it’s not too late for my turnaround”. On that ground, I decree, receive a great turnaround miracle in Jesus’ name. Shout, “I receive it”. Let your Amen thunder in this house now.
The Power of Sonship. John 1:12-13. So, one of the power triggers in the Kingdom of God is our sonship in Christ. It is one of the wonder Power keys. Church Gist. The power that can save your soul can heal your body, fix your mind, fix your finances, save you from poverty, failure and death. Power of Sonship. If God says, “there’s power in it”, don’t doubt Him. If you become a son of God, you can become the healed of God and the lifted of God.
- Therefore, whatever you desire to become, receive it now in the name of Jesus. Shout, “I am a child of God, I become everything else God has spoken concerning me”.
Power that can change your life, power that can rewrite your story, power that can reorder your destiny, reshape your future and birth your life. Listen, no matter what you lost, shattered, broken, scattered, the Power that turns you to a child of God can turn you to anything else.

You must know that fact, capture that truth in your Spirit. God didn’t save your soul and leave your body to the devil to do as it likes. God didn’t save your soul and leave your finances for the devil to mess up, no sir, it’s a full package. Church Gist. John 1:12.
- now, receive that power for your change of story.
“To them, gave he power”, but you must receive it, acknowledge it and take delivery of it by faith. You’re saved by faith and you enjoy all that salvation brings by faith. Church Gist. You cannot now go to doubt after you’re saved. The same way you believed to be saved, you believe to enjoy all the power wonders available in salvation – the Power of Sonship.
John 1:13. If man didn’t start, man cannot stop it. If man didn’t initiate it, man cannot block it
- Therefore, I decree, everyone that will receive this simple truth, you don’t need to feel mathematics, just learn the formula and it’ll work. Church Gist. You don’t need to feel good about the car, just change the plug, it’ll fire well, you don’t need to feel good about the AC, just get the switch turned on, it does its work. It’s the same with the salvation package. I see light enter your spirit and by that light, receive your healing, restoration, recover your resources, rise in greatness and become all that God has said. Church Gist. Shout, “I believe”.
I tell you the truth, if you’ll make up your mind this day to receive the word of God with simplicity, you will harvest a miracle without stress, you will harvest a wonder without tension. Church Gist. You won’t know how it’ll happen, it’ll just happen suddenly in your favour.

It’s not the will of man, it’s not about your efforts or your ability. The same way you couldn’t save yourself, you can’t heal yourself. The same way he was able to save you, he’s able to heal you, promote you, deliver you and guess what? Church Gist. He has done it already. The full provision has been made.
- raise your hand and declare, “by the power of the word of God, I enjoy the full package of my salvation and my sonship”.
Be reminded that God is the one at work here, not you. Church Gist. Who is at work? God, not you. Four important things stand out in that scripture about our sonship.

John 1:12. As simple as it is, that is the process right there, “as many as received Him”, God does the rest. How does sugar sweeten your tea? I don’t know but I put it and it works. Church Gist. How does salt make your food tasty? I don’t know but I know that I put it there and the thing just gets right. In the same you will receive Him and He does the rest. So, it’s your job to keep insisting, “oh Lord, I have received salvation, Jesus, I have received you, I cannot die here, I can’t end in shame”. Church Gist. It’s your job to contend for what is yours. It’s not a stroll in the park. There’s an adversary out to steal your allocation. God said, “I have given you the authority to resist the devil and he’ll flee from you”, that is your job.
- shout Amen somebody. Say, “the devil will not steal what belongs to me”
Now, I’m telling you to talk now, you’re not talking, tomorrow you’ll be looking for prayer. I might pray for you but will it work for you? Because it takes time for palm fruit to become a palm tree. Church Gist. When you need a palm tree miracle, do you have the 3 years required to process it? So what you’re doing now, you’re paying in advance for the accelerated miracle you need. That is why you can’t find me down. I am the most vocal and animated, how can I be down? That is what it takes. It’s magic, it’s not luck, Pastor is not lucky, Pastor is activating what you too, can activate. Church Gist. I don’t sit and wait for someone to come bless me, I dive into the blessing, then I share it with you. This is not the first time I’m reading this passage, I must have read it more than 10 times between last night and now, but see how excited I am. That is why it must deliver in my life. For with joy shall you draw water. Church Gist. You’re hearing it for the first time now but you’re not bothered, that’s why bad news moves you, because you’re not loaded with good news, you’re not charged, you’re not ready.
If you don’t want the wrong thing to work, fill up yourself with the right thing. That is all. Get loaded with the right thing. It is not title that brought me here, people with ‘bishop’ have gone down, it is not title. Church Gist. So, if I make you a Pastor, don’t think that you have escaped. The one that made you a pastor is more aggressive than you. The presence of “how long will I sit here like this, in my Father’s house, servants are making it, I will arise”. It is that rising that changes everything. Church Gist. I can’t change a situation but I can press for a change of situation and He said if I press, I will possess.
- Glory to God
There’s a process, it’s not magic. You engage the process, it delivers the product. I tell you the truth, despite that Jesus died successfully, rose victoriously, He cannot save you without your involvement. Church Gist. As free as salvation is, you can die and go to hell if you don’t involved. what makes you think you can just have healing by looking around? You can’t get it – you possess your possession. You align your words because those are you weapons in the spirit. You align your thoughts, your heart, for with the heart a man believes and with the mouth, confession is made. Church Gist. I submit to you brothers and sisters that in this kingdom, we have a part to play, to take delivery of what is ours.

Processes of Sonship
- Salvation
- Reconciliation
Nobody can access sonship without these processes. It doesn’t matter how sorry you are, God does not want you to be sorry, He wants you to be saved. Church Gist. It is human beings that want you to be sorry, not God, He wants you to be saved. Judas cried and was so sorry, he went and hung himself and he went to hell with his sorry self. God is not interested in your sadness, He is interested in your salvation.
Salvation and reconciliation. Ephesians 2:8. It is a gift of God, you don’t work for a gift. You acknowledge the generosity of the giver and you urgently receive it. Church Gist. Have you ever gone to somebody’s house and they offered you food and you were hungry, then for some reason, you politely turned down the food? Now, did your politeness take away the hunger? You remain hungry with your politeness, as hungry as you were before. Church Gist. Now, that there was a generous giver, notwithstanding, your receiving it is what settles you.

That is what happens when you receive salvation. The full package was given to you, when you receive salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9.
- ask your neighbour, “are you saved?”
In other words, have you received this free gift of salvation? Have you received it? John 3:3. John 3:5. So, you must hear the Word of God as I’m preaching it now and allow the Holy Spirit to use that Word to work on your heart. You allow the Holy Spirit to process you. Church Gist. You don’t argue, “I’m good the way I am, am I the worst person?” God does not save the worst, He saves the willing. Somebody worse than you can be saved and you’re there with your self-righteous self. Somebody worse than you can be saved and you’re there condemning the person. The same way the publican was being condemned by the Pharisees. Church Gist. It is not who came first to Church, it is who has received. John 1:12
All men are enemies to God by virtue of our sins. Sin has separated us from God. “Eh, is it my fault?” God doesn’t care whose fault, all God cares is who has received. All have sinned and have come short of the Glory of God. Church Gist. All means all. So, make up your mind, “I am receiving salvation and if I’ve received it, every benefit that comes with it is mine”
- say a loud Amen right there!
- raise you hand and say “in the name of Jesus, I receive free salvation through Jesus Christ and by faith, I enjoy all the benefits of salvation”
Hebrews 6:9. It’s not a singular gift, it’s a gift that comes with a lot of goodies, benefits and attached ingredients.
- I pray for somebody here, by the power of Sonship, receive your healing, breakthrough, promotion, open door, fruitfulness, anointing and wisdom now! Shout, “I receive!”
Friends, everyday I receive strength because this thing we’re doing requires energy. You’re too weak to fulfill destiny, you need energy to fulfill destiny. Church Gist. You can’t be a weakling and matter in your world. You don’t have a future always looking tired, drained and weary, who did this to you? Those that wait upon the Lord renew their strength, they mount up with wings as eagles. They run and they’re not weary, they walk and they’re not faint
- shout, “I hear!” Give your neighbour a high five and tell him, “you’ll hear my testimony”
You know what the Bible calls it? The Bible calls it, “The fight of Faith”. If you’re not a fighter, you have no future. Church Gist. Better things that follow salvation from the day you’re saved, life must become better.
- Therefore, welcome to the best days of your life by the power of sonship. Shout, “I am saved”
Not only are we saved, we are reconciled. That enmity has been put out of the way. Ephesians 2:14-15. When they were tearing His side, He was opening the gateway to reconcile us back to God. When he ripped His body, He was opening up the gateway to reconcile us back to God. Church Gist. When they tore His skin with the lashes of the whip, He was opening up the gateway to reconcile us back to God. The sick person, reconcile with the healer, the poor man, reconcile with the provider, the sinner, reconcile with the Trisholy righteousness God and the savour, the frustrated, reconcile with his helper. No matter where you are, God is your answer, God is your way out, God has what you need and all you need is for the way to be opened and the enmity to be removed. Now, we can come boldly to the throne of Grace and obtain mercy and find help for our needs. Church Gist. If you’re saved, welcome to your healer, provider, deliverer, helper and God of mercy. Whatever you need, “I am that I am”.
- walk to 7 people, shout, “I am here now!”
Ephesians 2:15. How we believe people who plead on our behalf. “Where are you, go and meet him, I’ve talked with him”, “okay sir”. How do you know he’s not lying? Jesus said, “I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and to your God to present myself as a lamb that was slain for the sacrifice to be considered accepted”, and when He went and presented, He was accepted. Church Gist. John was weeping, He said, “weep not for the Lion of the tribe of Judah, He has prevailed and He resurrected” and He said all power in Heaven and on earth has been given unto me
- receive your healing now, receive your deliverance now, receive your breakthrough now! Shout, “I am a son!”

Today, when the altar call is made, don’t wear your religious uniform or the Pharisee’s sunshade, humble yourself, rush and receive that offer of salvation. Ephesians 2:16. 2 Corinthians 5:18-20. That you can do, do it and let Him do the rest. Church Gist. That’s the process, that’s our job on earth, whether you’re in the bank, office or in the hospital. There are some people that would never have heard the gospel in the hospital if God didn’t make sure that somebody representing finds himself in the hospital. That’s why you’re a medical doctor, not to give people injections, it’s so that by giving people injections, you meet people pastors can never meet. That’s why you’re a mechanic so in the course of fixing people’s cars, you meet people pastors will never meet. Church Gist. That’s why somebody you preach to now comes to Church for the first time. God needed you in that sector of life so that by taking you where you normally wouldn’t have gone, what would have carried me to Minna in my life, Minna, Niger state, for what? Wetin for carry me go Sokoto? Who do I know that is from there? But God will use circumstances, it is called “providence”. That’s why after sometime you lose a job and you get another job. That’s why after sometime, you graduate from that school and you gain admission to the next one because God is transporting you through life, into corridors of ministry, which hitherto, you might never have attempted. Hallelujah. Church Gist.God is beseeching the world to us, that’s the process. Make sure that you engage the process and the process is not weak, it is a power-packed process. We access Power.
What power is that?
- The power of the Holy Ghost. The power of the Spirit. The same way the Spirit rules over the flesh. This power rules over the physical. Acts 1:8. Genesis 1:2. That power that reshaped creation is the power that enters your life when you give your life to Christ. Church Gist. The Bible calls him, “The Spirit of adoption”. Romans 8:15, the spirit of sonship that welcomes us into sonship.
somebody shout, “power!”
whatever is that mountain in front of you, as you receive the power of Sonship, the power of the Holy Ghost, begins to work in your life, the power of the Spirit begins to move in your family, the power of the Spirit begins to move in your body, the power of the Spirit begins to move in your finances, therefore, right now, I decree, by this revelation, let the power of the Spirit invade every area of your life, your body, your mind, you finances, your career, your destiny. Church Gist. Shout, “power!” We are not powerless, we’re not helpless, we’re not at mercy of the devil, we’re not weak, we’re not weaklings, the devil is a liar. Greater is He that is in us than the devil that is in the devil. Know ye not that your body is the temple, the Tabernacle, the dwelling place of the Holy Ghost? Church Gist. He begins to move in you and walk in you and operate in you and flow through you. Somebody shout, “power!”
Recognize what you carry. Salvation and sonship is not mere talk, it’s a very deep transaction. Luke 10:19. It is the power over powers. If you read in Luke 10:1, the beginning was salvation. Luke 10:1-3. Church Gist. We look like we don’t have anything to offer, it will look like all we do is talk, pray, preach, tell people, “God bless you”, sing choruses, go to Church. Oh, listen to me, you cannot consume alcohol and not be drunk, you’re implicated by the regularity of that activity. In the same way, you cannot engage this Kingdom and not become a power substation. You’re implicated. By the time you connect the cable of chorus, prayer, study of the Word, and all those cables now download into your transformer. Church Gist. Listen to me, you can shock and electrocute. The problem is, do you know what you’re doing or you’re just a victim of blindness? Do you know what you’re doing or you have allowed the devil to deceive you? God opened my eyes to see that the manipulation of the enemy against the prodigal son took place while he was still in his father’s house. God said, “that’s the way many are in Church, they’re in Church but the enemy controls their mind, that’s why their presence in Church does them no good. Church Gist. The enemy controls their mind, and as a man thinketh in his mind, so is he. It’s a fight. All your gates, the enemy is trying to use it to invade you with negative information. It’s a fight. He said, “lift up the shield of faith with which you quench all the fiery darts” meaning whether you know it or not, firing arrows are being fired at you, arrows of doubt, fear and unbelief, because if he cannot get your body out of Church, he wants to get your mind while your body is in Church. He’s after your mind. So He said, “Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind”. Church Gist. You’ll be shocked that somebody can be in Church like this and be talking against me as His Pastor, because the enemy must make sure that what I’m saying doesn’t work for him, he must make sure that his 10 years in Church is useless.
- it’ll never be your portion! Shout, “I am blessed by the speakage of my man of God”
I tell you the truth, I like everything about my spiritual father, everything. The way he wears his long suit, I might not wear it, but I like it. It’s not my dress style but as long as he chose to wear it, I like it. Church Gist. I am compelled to like it if I want it to be well with me. Listen to me, sitting in Church doesn’t help you if you don’t bury your whole mind inside it. Bury it, irrecoverably. Ever since God started giving him songs, those are the only songs the choir sings. Imagine somebody in that choir now, “oh, why are we always singing his songs?” You’ll sit there and die and you won’t know what killed you. If that is what he’s led to do, I like it. Church Gist. For my sake, I like it. How many people who hated maths teachers passed mathematics?
Luke 10:19. The same way you received the salvation, receive power. The same way you received eternal life, receive power, the same way you received your sins forgiven, receive power. Church Gist. Don’t accept salvation and miss the power, don’t accept eternal life and miss the power, didn’t accept the soul and miss the power, don’t accept forgiveness and miss the power, it is the power that makes forgiveness work, it is the power that made eternal life work, it is the power that made mercy work, it is the power that made reconciliation work. So, as you receive salvation, forgiveness, reconciliation, receive power! That is what makes the born again Christian that began as a dropout to become a graduate. It’s the power. It powered his mind, his well, his conscience and his capacity to believe. That’s what makes the believer that came sick to start recovering. Church Gist. It powered his inside and his awareness that life and death is now for Him to decide and that God said, “choose life that both you and your seed may live” and powered by the spirit, he makes an informed choice and stays there. It is not yours till you choose it, it has been paid for, it is available, it is yours but you can’t have it till you choose it, choose life!
If anybody sits in this church now and you have a bank balance of N5,001 and you die poor, God and satan will combine to flog you because your Pastor with the wife and 2 children entered this city as a whole with N5000 and see where he is today, you have no excuse under Heaven. Church Gist. I don’t care which business you lost, it doesn’t matter. I don’t care who stole your money, it doesn’t matter. I don’t care who duped you, it doesn’t matter, if you still have N5000 to your name, and I’m not finished with you yet. Then after 1 week, you go down to zero naira, you still don’t beg, you still don’t borrow, you don’t collect loan from anywhere. Church Gist. Don’t sit in Church and donate your head to satan and satan just uses your head, throws in any kind of thought.
The power of the Spirit can confront any devil. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and the power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him.

- raise your right hand, say, “in the name of Jesus, by the power of the Spirit, I take delivery of every benefit that is mine”.
That brings us into a position I call “Relationship”. Once strangers and aliens but now, we’re fellow citizens. Ephesians 2:12-13,19.

- Citizenship. It brings us into citizenship. We’re no more strangers or aliens, we’re now fellow citizens. We are no more illegal, we have all the rights, privileges and benefits available in this Kingdom. John 10:10. That’s our position now. Now listen, your position determines your possessions and portion. Church Gist. The constitution already guarantees it but you must be in the right position to access it. They give you a visa, a tourist visa, and say you have no permission to work or access public funds, you see, your position determines your portion and possession. You cannot now go there and work, if they catch you, you’re jailed, if they don’t deport you immediately. You have violated the terms of your presence. Church Gist. We can all be in Church but do we all know our position? That’s why somebody will still say something like, “abeg, help me beg God na, like Him no dey hear my own prayer o”, that just shows you how satan has “yeyerized” that person and the person donated his head to satan. “Eh, but what will somebody do when somebody has prayed and the thing is not gone?” When David confronted Goliath, Goliath answered back. Church Gist. It is your standing your ground that makes the thing surrender to you. That you prayed and the thing didn’t answer doesn’t mean you’re not right, it means, “do you know your position or did you cave in?” Now, somebody will now say something like, “nawa o, this thing is not easy o”. You see, a lazy mind is a very bad thing in life. Yet, that person can scroll through 300 posts on Facebook and is not tired. Church Gist. Energy for useless things, passion, concentration.

If Jesus said, “I came that they may have Life, have it to the full till it overflows”, that is position versus possession. Meaning, when I gave my life to Christ, it was a wise and profitable decision, it wasn’t a vain exercise. Church Gist. It gives me access to all that God is, has, does and all that God can do. Access. 3 John 1:2.
Process of sonship, position of sonship, power of sonship, provision of sonship. I put it to you that no child of God has any reason to be sick, weak, broken or helpless, even if the person was born that way. Church Gist. “Except a man be born again”, just get born again and once you’re born again, begin to lay hold on what the Book says is yours and guess what? The God who has called you is too faithful to fail.
What is my counsel to you?
- Recognize what Jesus has provided for us through salvation and sonship.
- Receive Jesus and His full package of salvation. Don’t remove money, don’t remove jobs, everything is inside it. Favour is inside it. Full package
- Rise up and claim by faith all that you need in Christ Jesus.
- lift up your hands and give God praise.
