There is no one like our God, He is not a joker. He says only what He means and means what He says. Church Gist. His plan for us tonight shall come to pass. His word shall be established. Celebrate Him, Magnify Him.
Lord Jesus, we are here at your feet tonight. Instruct our heart unto discretion. Teach us your wisdom, let it move us forward in our walk with You. Church Gist. Let it impact every aspect of our lives and take all the glory for it in Jesus’ precious name.
UNVEILING THE WORTH OF DIVINE WISDOM. What is divine wisdom worth? Just before then, some individuals have the privilege of being prayed over, either in the office or whatever time and Jesus intervened but this is a massive crowd gathered by God. Church Gist. Some may never have that opportunity but they are under some kind of siege requiring divine intervention. So the Holy Ghost prompted that once every month we pray over issues of the lives of people that demand divine intervention.
Peter was locked up in prison and prayers were made by the Church without ceasing for him. An angel of the Lord stepped in and brought Peter out gallantly. If you remember the story in Acts 12 verse 5 till the end. So as the church of God prayed, Matthew 18:18. So we have the opportunity of attending to issues in the lives of people that require divine intervention. Philippians 1:19. So we lift up our voices on behalf of God’s people and then get them out of their prison houses and Jesus will keep confirming His word. So as we pray and receive prophetic proclamations on those issues, God will turn them to open confirmations. Please, it is not a ritual, it is just a platform to attend to everybody’s issues without hanging on for years. Church Gist. Jesus will show that He is in our midst. It has always worked and it will always work. We have that every Shiloh but God is saying every month. You don’t have to suffer for one year when the intercession of the saints and prophetic proclamations can bail you out. So get ready for it. You come to Jesus and He turns your trials into testimonies. Who is in church? Jesus, the mediator of the New Testament. So expect that whatever you bring to Him, He is more than up to it. Mark 10:27. There shall be an amazing harvest of miracles as we line up with this truth in the name of Jesus Christ.
There was a widow who had two sons and they were coming for them as collateral for the debt that her husband owed before he died. Church Gist. She ran to the prophet and by a word from the Lord, that ordeal was turned into celebration. Whatever appears an ordeal in anyone’s life shall be turned into celebration. Church Gist. This happens on the third Sunday of every month, our special monthly anointing service. Keep them in mind at all times. Your own may even be Thanksgiving issues, let’s thank God with you, heaven will hear and open the next chapter over your life.
UNVEILING THE WORTH OF DIVINE WISDOM. Our sense of value for anything is what determines what we are willing to pay to have it. If you don’t know what it is worth, you just feel that somebody is trying to pry into your time and waste your precious time because you don’t know the worth of it. The reason people don’t read the Bible is because they don’t think anything is waiting for them more than stories. Jesus went to Capernaum, Yes! He left the place and went to Chorazin, then he moved to Bethsaida. He met a man that was hanging around there and attended to him. Church Gist. Yes! What more? He has passed over many depths unnoticed and because he didn’t know it was there, he wasn’t looking for it. This is a book of treasures that create enviable futures. The light of this book will keep anybody going in the worst of times. During Coro we were busy winning souls and planting new churches, employing and engaging missionaries in thousands. This book makes you wiser than your enemies. You thrive under all impossible circumstances with the wisdom from this book.
Proverbs 3:13-15. It is worth much more than all our desires till we go to heaven. The worth! It has the capacity to bring everything you desire and beyond it to pass. Proverbs 3:16-17. It is not in any degree under heaven. A D.Sc. Psychology doesn’t have that. This carries that treasure. Riches and honour are not in Australia, it is not in Jamaica. It is in wisdom. Pressure-free life, isn’t that enough marketing point? If you don’t know it, find it. It is not luck, it is light. Proverbs 4:7-9. In a five-question paper, wisdom carries forty. The other four divide it 15-15. So if you fail wisdom, you have failed. Do you get what I am talking about? You have a question paper of five questions and wisdom carries 40, you leave it and start answering others. Church Gist. You will sweat. By the time you want to know that you have missed the principal, it has gone. You know it is principal, so let’s climb up a bit. Wisdom is 80, the other questions are 5-5-5. Where should you spend your time focusing? Exalt wisdom and she shall promote you, you can’t pass the principal and remain in the same class. It is grace that makes great. These are all marketing points of this heavenly treasure that demands all of our attention to pass from one class to another in the journey of life.
Now we have a declaration of this in Job 28:7-28. The Wisdom of God provides impossible situations under impossible circumstances. He is always seeing precious things in the midst of trash. He is just describing the worth of this wisdom. No school of learning has it, one source only and we are coming in there. It is hid from the eyes of all living whether you are in the first world or second world, it is hid from the eyes of all living whether you are white, black or green. Are you living? It is hid from your eyes. These were the things that drove me into praying with all my heart “I don’t have this wisdom, Jesus endue me with it” and we are constantly in need of It no matter the enduement of yesterday. Church Gist. Enough for today are the evils thereof. So you need it every day, to put evil where it belongs. It has the power to overwhelm sickness and death, you saw the way it humiliated the fiery furnace in the days of Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego and how it stopped the mouth of the lion in the days of Daniel. This wisdom is superior to all destructive weapons of the devil.
I prayed over that woman who was under the siege of satanic agents afflicting her son in the U.K., afflicting her son in the U.S. The Bible says “every tongue that arises against you in judgment, thou shall condemn”. Because she became saved, they waged war against her and I said “I command this arrow (that’s condemnation) to return to where it came”. The native doctor disappeared. The assistant followed. Destruction and death said “leave me oh, I don’t try them oh”. God is up to something in your life. Where did you get that from? February 1973, Isaiah 54:17. Don’t play with me, any agent of the devil that comes at me must go for it. There is no way to escape and we have the same birthright in Christ, how can they be molesting your life? Church Gist. What kind of wisdom is this? It is available to every one of us who is born again. It is the heritage of every child of God. It has the power to destroy all destructive weapons of hell put together. Anyone that wants you dead will die in your place. Open death. That is the supremacy of this wisdom, that is how far above. You can get DSc in Disease Exploration and Cure and sickness can still kill you. One tiny demon can just make an incantation and you are shaking. When you are a child of God, “touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm”. Nobody shall weep over anything that belongs to them anymore.
It has its place in this book. Isaiah 34:16. The Bible is God’s wisdom bank for all generations. You can’t kill the wisdom of this book. Do you see how the Church of God is expanding in Nigeria? Any stupid policy that wants to come against it will just go down. Messed up, stripped naked. I will build my church, the gates of hell will not prevail against it. We are not talking about gates of politics. The gates of hell. When you see Bible wisdom at work, you better clear the way. It is a bulldozer. There is no madman who stands on the road against a bulldozer. Church Gist. “No way, it is my father’s land”. Just stay, it will just clear you with the rubbles. They won’t find you because it has uprooted trees, so you won’t carry much weight. Anyone that stands on your way of progress will be bulldozed. It has never been heard that a wild lion that even ran mad, ran into fire. We had rabies dogs in those days in the villages and they would be moving everywhere but when they moved near fire, they turned. Nonsense, I can’t go there. Every evil will clear the way at your instance. You appear, they will disappear.
This wisdom is unreachable in content. That is why it requires wisdom to keep changing levels in it. Romans 11:33. The wiser one gets the higher heights he scales. Proverbs 1:5, 9:9. God is in His class and only Him is there. The Bible calls Him “the only wise God”. In the school of wisdom, He is the only. Jude 1:25. We remain students for life. Ecclesiastes 7:16. Don’t make yourself overwise because you are not. You are an undergraduate for life. One of my daughters came to me and said “thank God, I am now a postgraduate student”. This one, no postgraduate. Everyone is an undergraduate. You have to agree that you are under to change level. They don’t finish this one. 100, 200, 300, 3000 level. Church Gist. When are we finishing? They don’t finish here. If you stop, they remove you. You have stayed in this class for long, just get out. You say how many levels? I don’t know. The wisdom and knowledge of God are unsearchable, unfinishable, no finish lines. May we receive grace to keep changing levels. So for anybody to get to a point and say I have got it all, he is only made a fool of himself. The wiser we get, the more glorious the adventure. The more gorgeous the journey, the more fruitful the race.
Job 28:11. This wisdom stops the way against all evils. Proverbs 22:3. He shows you ahead of time. For instance, you carry your luggage and off you go to one country forever. You never ask counsel from Him. Only to discover when you are there that you made the worst mistake of your life, to come back becomes a problem. If God tells you, there are proofs in the Bible that validate God’s direction. If there is no peace in your heart, you are on your way to somewhere. Psalm 85:8. If there is no joy in your heart, not temporal joy, not mechanical joy, you are on your way somewhere. Church Gist. Most of the time, a regretful journey. Prove all things, check from my wisdom bank, what validates what you said I say to you. No one will miss his step anymore because wisdom is profitable to direct. You went and invested in a business without asking counsel from the Lord and it destroyed all your labour all through life. Proverbs 14:12. Proverbs 21:22. Wisdom is better than strength, wisdom is better than weapons of war. The intelligence corps is the most significant of all units in any military formation showing the right way to go so the enemy will not overrun you. No one shall be overrun by the enemy. Ecclesiastes 9:16-18.
- Divine wisdom triggers supernatural favour.
Nothing flies like favour in the journey of life. Proverbs 8:12,35-36. We are going through wisdom personified speaking to us. Walking in divine wisdom unleashes favour on the life of any individual. Nothing flies like favour. We have heard it severally that favour turned a slave into an heir of the family – Potiphar’s family. He handed all his properties to him. Church Gist. He got to the prison they handed all the slaves to him – Favour. He got to Pharaoh, favour. Nothing flies like favour. It has the capacity to fly a man out of the prison into the palace and divine wisdom is the womb that births favour. Proverbs 13:15. The way of the unwise is hard. This is the way to go, wisdom is saying and you say I don’t care. You will soon care.
We saw Daniel flying by favour. A captive received the obeisance of the king by wisdom. Nothing flies like favour. Welcome on board the next level flight of your life. That is what favour will produce and engender. Proverbs 9:12. If you start reading negative meanings to the triumphant testimonies of others, good luck. Stay in your troubles. Church Gist. There could be some boys today in armed robbery gangs because they just took opportunities for granted. Somebody who can run in the night will run better during the day. Somebody who can fly over the wall of another man, he will be a star in sports. Since he won’t run a dignified race, he has to run a dirty race and get killed in the process.
One big offer of this wisdom is a good old age. Proverbs 3:13,16. It secures length of days. It shall be known shortly around the world that people don’t die young in the Winners Family and you will be among the living examples. As we keep walking in the wisdom of God as revealed from His word. Proverbs 4:10. So we saw a young lady here that was 100 years old and then she was so well dressed, climbed on that altar but a raw servant of God. Church Gist. She carries a thousand flyers. She knelt down and stood up three times in my presence at the lobby of the office unaided. You find young men just moving like a major truck. Exodus 23:25-26. Just keep serving God in your various capacities, faithfully so, tirelessly so, not ‘make them see me’ kind of service. You are committing God to fulfil the number of your days. I know shortly we are going to have someone on this altar saying “I am 120 today”.
Now we have this lifelong treasure, it keeps believers wiser by the day. This wisdom keeps us wiser by the day. When you register in this school of wisdom, you read your Bible, you listen to anointed messages, you read anointed books, and you just find yourself in this new lease of life. They are new every morning. They come through as corrections, come through as rebukes. Proverbs 8:33-34. It is pride that makes people refuse it. Proverbs 9:9. God’s word is full of instructions. As we access more, we get wiser by the day and we are just changing levels. Church Gist. The higher level you change the higher heights you scale. Back again to Proverbs 9:9, that is the school we are entering into right now. You will never be found in the same spot anymore. No one will go down on that scale. Abraham Lincoln said, “I don’t think much of any man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday”. It is registering in the school of divine wisdom that makes a man wiser by the day. That is your testimony in the name of Jesus.
2 Corinthians 3:18. 1 Corinthians 2:7-8. He keeps changing us, no games, no gimmicks, no rough games. Therefore the lives of everyone who chooses to register in this school of wisdom, It is a school for the meek. Psalm 25:9. Not the proud, not the arrogant who has just seen one breakthrough and then “if it is righteous, it came from God” who is God? Where is that your Bible? Go and ask Nebuchadnezzar about the metamorphosis that took place in his life. It is a reversal of Darwin’s theory. Darwin’s theory you grow from ape to human being, this one grew from human being to ape. Somebody’s story is changing. Church Gist. Everything that poses as an issue in your life, Jesus by his wisdom as we register with humility, Matthew 11:29. There is no room for the proud and arrogant in my class, come and learn of me. Behind the unrest around our lives is our ignorance. Come learn of me, your unrest will be turned to peaceful rest, the peace that passes all understanding. It takes meekness to access it and it takes the fear of God to sustain it. No one shall miss his way to it.
Lift your hand to heaven and thank God for the light shed on our path. If any man thinks he knows anything, let him know he knows nothing. Church Gist. Thank you Lord for access to light, I receive grace for sustainable fear of God in my life so I can sustain my access to more and more of your wisdom in my journey and begin to experience from glory to glory as my new way of life.
- Your changes from glory to glory will never end.
- Every day of our lives shall be brighter than the previous.
- The future ahead of you will not be traded for bread. You will not sell off your future for a morsel of meat.
Our New Dawn Banquet is Sunday, and it shall be a new dawn indeed for all worshippers, new dawn indeed for all your invitees, new dawn indeed for all your new converts.
Now because everything in this place works, so from today, I decree that everything pertaining to your life, your family, your business, your walk with God will keep working positively. This coming week Covenant University will be 20 years old. This has been a stress-free, pressure-free, struggle-free adventure for 20 years. It has been award upon award, acclaim upon acclaim by the hand of God. Even though your cocoa tree has 40-50 years of fruition upon maturity, the day you uproot it is the end of that term. Church Gist. People don’t get backwards because the devil is so hard, you just uproot yourself from God and the tree dries up naturally without attack. The day your dedication stops, the other side begins to happen. God forbid that you root yourself out of the love of God. God forbid that you look at God and say “who are you?”. God forbid that you wonder what is in it. God forbid that you use your tongue to destroy your destiny.
I was doing a paper on The Risk of Prosperity. You don’t know how to take it, it can tear anybody. It can tear anybody just because of the 10-10 kobo that you have. God is not looking for your money, He gave it to you in the first instance. Just a little position that God gave to you to test you for the higher thing He has for you in future. Prayer stops, reading the Bible stops, the fear of God stops, please stay on. What has helped your church till now is that we have stayed on, no distractions. God, you are the reason we are here. God, it is your purpose we are serving. Just stay on, tomorrow is bright and it will keep getting brighter and brighter. Church Gist. Don’t root yourself out, it is a risk. You just dry up. We are trees of righteousness; we must remain planted. As long as we are planted, we will keep flourishing like a palm tree. We will keep scaling new heights like the cedar of Lebanon. Stay planted! No one here shall live a miserable life, no one here shall suffer frustration. When you serve God like a dedicated seed, the devil is moving about like a roaring lion, lions don’t eat seed. He is a subtle serpent, serpents don’t eat seeds. When the seed is planted, the lion has no access, the serpent has no access. Your security, your dignity, your beauty is in being dedicated to God with utmost delight. You are not chasing after God for things, it is your heart that is panting after God. By that, He keeps adding colour, glory and beauty to your life. Please don’t give the devil authority he doesn’t have. He is not behind the downward trend of many of us. They are self-caused. Dedication is key to beauty, honour and glory.
None of us will miss our way to heaven. We shall be there with our family, our friends. Any friend that can’t pull into the kingdom, leave him. You have your life to live. Church Gist. There is no new generation Bible, you don’t know what qualifies a man for heaven? Whether King James or King John? If you don’t know it from the Bible, you don’t know.
