• Help me tell 3 persons, “you have a ministry to fulfill”. Then tell yourself, “I have a ministry to fulfill” and tell somebody close to you, “you’ll not die until you fulfill that ministry”. Tell yourself, “I will not die until I fulfill my ministry”. Amen.

Celebrating 25 years of ordination into full time Pastoral ministry.

Fulfill your Ministry part 1.

• every person here, you will not die without fulfilling your ministry.

Colossians 4:17. No ministry fulfills itself. Every ministry is fulfilled by the one that is called into it. One of the greatest mistakes you’ll make is to think you were not called into ministry. Every person has a ministry to fulfill. Philippians 3:14. Church Gist. Every calling is a high calling, there’s no calling that is higher than one calling. Whatever they’re doing in one Church is not higher than what they’re doing in another Church. Every person is fulfilling his own calling. Never envy anybody, never jealous anybody, you’re unique in your own way and calling. Church Gist. There’s what you do that others cannot do. No two fingerprints are the same, everybody has their own unique fingerprint. So, every calling is a high calling.

How high you fly is a function of how well you follow Heaven’s instruction per time. Now, get it clear, everyone is called into ministry. Look at me very well, ministry simply means service. Church Gist. Everyone is called to serve in one capacity or the other. I will show you two scriptures very fast. One is where we get confused, the other one is where we get convinced. Ephesians 4:11-12. Some of you, the Children’s Church is suffering because you have refused to enter into your children’s ministry as a teacher. What they do in Children’s Church, they teach and care. Not everybody will be an Apostle, Pastor, an Evangelist or a teacher but every person has his own unique ministry to carry out. And what is the purpose of this ministry? Ephesians 4:12. Church Gist. There’s the hospitality ministry, evangelism ministry, help ministry, outreach ministry, welfare ministry and prison ministry. If you check our board here, we have the 25 ministries under Answer’s Assembly. You don’t need to be a Pastor to function somewhere there. Children’s ministry, teen’s ministry, finance ministry, there are different ministries. Ephesians 4:12, that’s the purpose of the ministry. Church Gist. Here may confuse you a little, now let us get you convinced.

1 Corinthians 12:28. The new testament is not limited to the 5-fold ministry. Ephesians 4:11-12 is the 5-fold ministry. Look at my fingers, the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. The first finger is the Apostle, the one that can do everything. Church Gist. The Prophet is the warning finger, the one God uses in warning the Church, prophetic warning, prophetic voice. The Evangelist is the longest finger, outreach, the one that goes out, he’s not comfortable in Church, he must go and win souls, he must go and do crusade, outreach. The fourth finger, the Pastor is the love finger, the shepherd’s finger, where they care, they show love, and when Pastors show some people love, they think you can’t do without them. A shepherd is a lover and a carer. A shepherd will check on you, pick your call, return your missed call. Church Gist. A shepherd will tell you, “you’re not looking bright”, that’s a shepherd, that’s a Pastor. That’s where they put the wedding finger, for love, care, relationship and affection. The last finger is the teaching ministry, very humble. For you to be a teacher, you must be very humble so as to receive insight and revelation. So, all of these 5-fold ministry, they have their different functions, but everybody gets confused here, “I’m not this and that”. Church Gist. Now, He said, let us break this down. 1 Corinthians 12:28

• I pray for you today, whatever is your God’s ordained Ministry, you’ will not miss it, in the name of God the father, the son and the Holy Ghost.

So, there’s the ministry of help, they’re all very important in the sight of God. If one is lacking, the other ones can’t function. Look, as I am here now, can I be teaching in the Children’s Church? Church Gist. As I’m here now, can I be ushering? As I’m here now, can I be doing the sanitation ministry? All of the ministries are very important. No one is unimportant or a disadvantage, all of them are important. If you don’t understand it, you’ll think it’s only the 5-fold ministry but there are those who are into the ministry of helping, and if they don’t fulfill their roles, the ministry on the pulpit will be affected.

• I pray for you this morning, lift up your hands towards this altar, I pray for you, you will fulfill your ministry, in the name of God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit. So shall it be.

Now, having established the fact that every person is called into ministry.

• say, “I am called into ministry, I have a ministry to fulfill, I may not be a Pastor, Evangelist, Apostle, Reverend, Bishop or a teacher, but I have a ministry of help, to help the children’s Church, the finance department, to partner with the ministry, to be in partnership with the pulpit, to open Churches, buy lands, build auditorium, sponsor missionaries, take care of children’s Church, take care of less privileged, handle the widows, handle the welfare of the less privileged, the poor in our midst, so I have a ministry”. And the good thing, if you ministry is not fulfilled, other ministries will suffer.
• I pray for you, your ministry shall be fulfilled.

Somebody may want to ask, “how do I fulfill my ministry?”

• in one minute, lift up your voice to heaven, say, “in the name of Jesus, every attack on my ministry and calling, let it expire as I begin to pray”. Say, “in the name of Jesus, I shall not die until I fulfill my ministry”.
• put your two hands on your head, every attack from the pit of hell for you to die without fulfilling your ministry, I curse the attack now, it is cursed from the root now!

1 Corinthians 12:28. Even miracle is a ministry, there’s a miracle ministry, if you don’t have it, you’ll be arranging miracles. When you pray for the sick, leave God to heal them. That was how we saw one woman in Nigeria healed by 5 churches, 5 pastors using her hand to display miracle. You know why? Inferiority complex. Church Gist. Why must I teach alone or preach alone or pray alone or do deliverance. There are different ministries, the one God knows is good for you is the one He gave you. Everybody is called into ministry, just that you don’t know your own is a calling, that’s why you wave everytime, you don’t know it’s a calling. When you understand that the help ministry is a calling, you will know the true meaning of becoming the destiny helper of a man sent by God. Some churches are very good at the altar and pulpit but have no administrative skill. I say this, with all humility, I am one of the Kingdom administrators in this part of the world. Church Gist. In 9 years, no one has ever come here to stand and say, “pay me my money”, no police case in any sunday service that pastor must be arrested, nobody has come to say, “if they don’t pay, they won’t do service” – administration. In 9 years, nothing crashing, offices running well, Church running well. I’m not everywhere, there are departments here that I’ve not talked to them in 6 months, administration. I’ve never entered counting room, where they count money – administration. Church Gist. Do you know what? People see your offering before I even see the figure. Where you don’t have this gift of administration, this gift of government, your wife will carry offering, they’ll put offering in your boot, you’ll spend from offering, you won’t know the disparity between your money and God’s money.

1 Corinthians 12:28. So as you can see, everybody belongs somewhere. That’s what I want to establish. If I leave some of you, this Church won’t run this way, you want this Church to run as a mafia Church, and you think you love me, but that love you have for me is lacking the gift of government and administration. “Papa, it’s your Church, it’s your money, take everything, go home with it”, good advice but it will send away the Caller out of the Church. God will now leave you to run it. No be shop? Church Gist. E don become shop, na business, run it as a business, then the owner of the Calling will leave you and when the Caller leaves, your collar must tear. That’s why I’ve never entered counting room in 9 years, you know why? Government and administrative skill. Even when I traveled for 2 weeks to America some years ago, we finished service, my wife jumped into car and was going home, somebody called her, “won’t you count your husband’s money? Na your husband get the Church, stay and count it, don’t let them steal it”. Church Gist. It’s better for them to steal it than for me to administer it wrongly. If they steal it, God will still provide it, if I administer it wrongly, God will leave the camp. Judas was stealing everyday, Jesus was not affected. If you desire the gift of administration, you see that your small business that wants to kill you, know separation between capital and suya. You have never passed where they sell suya and don’t touch capital, you’re the devil fighting the business, separate it. Let there be an account book, pay for whatever you take. Separate your family and personal expenses from your business. Let business run on its own. Church Gist. I don’t know who has this Word this morning, may God use this Word to bless the person who this Word is meant for.

• with your two hands on your head, say, “I will fulfill my ministry”

How do I fulfill this ministry?

1. Understand your calling. Romans 1:1. Like the background I gave us established the fact that every person has a ministry. A genuine call is very vital. If you’re not called into help ministry, you’d be frustrated. I have a ministry of help. Look at me, I was preaching 2 weeks ago and God showed me that somebody is going through stress, the debt he’s owing, 1 million with an interest of 100,000, 1.1 million. Church Gist. I said, let me show you what it means for God to intervene in your matter and I called the person and said, “your debt is cleared, don’t pay”. If you don’t have that calling to help people, you will start it and complain. Somebody is building churches everywhere, he’s buying land building churches for the Church he’s worshipping, he said, “my job is to build churches all over the village, town and city”, nobody is giving him one bag of cement, He’s doing it by himself, that is help ministry. Church Gist. That is the anointing to help. It’s a calling. Go to the Children’s Church, one of the classrooms there, you’ll see the way it’s arranged, carpeted and designed. A TV is there, they put programs for them at that their age, somebody did it. When you have ministry of help, no matter the money in Church, it’s not your business. Instead, you’ll will add more to it.

Don’t marry a man who doesn’t have ministry of help. He will hurt you destiny as a lady. He will give you 1500 to cook stew and he will be counting the ponmo. Don’t marry a wife that is not a helper. You will give her 5000 to cook soup, she will steal 3500. Church Gist. You don’t choose ministry, ministry choose you based on your capacity to perform. I sold my 4-bedroom bungalow to finish this building, ministry of help. Everyone that is in the ministry of help, you have lost your life for the sake of the gospel.

• I pray for everyone called into the ministry of help, you’ll never die helpless.

When we say understand your calling, we have two types of calling, we have the pioneering calling and the supporting calling. That’s where we miss it. Church Gist. The Pioneering calling is the Moses and Elijah calling, the Supportive calling is Elisha and Joshua calling. Where we have frustration in ministry is that Elisha wants to be like Elijah and Joshua wants to be like Moses. As long as He has not called you to be like Moses, you’re a Joshua. Anything that will make you pioneer anything, you will suffer, the grace to push it will not be there. Anywhere you see a pastor suffering, going through stress and pain, you’re seeing a Joshua that is functioning as a Moses or an Elisha functioning as an Elijah. Church Gist. Two types of calling, the Pioneering, “I go start something”, the Supportive, “I go support who start something”, if you miss it here, you will forfeit your destiny. All frustration begins at this level.

• Open your two hands, you shall not miss your place in this life.

1. A life of Righteousness. 2 Timothy 2:20-22. Let this be your foundation. We are in a time where God is no longer using Pastors to do miracles instead Pastors use God to do miracles. Church Gist. Anywhere you see the almightiness of God without the Holiness of God, run for your life. Why? Romans 1:4. It is at this point your Pastor became a Christian before he became a Pastor, some people became Pastors without first becoming Christians. Some people become Deacons, elders, HOD, assistant HOD without first becoming Christians. When you don’t have this foundation, you won’t know when you start sleeping with married women in Church because the foundation of righteousness is not there.
2. A Life of Daily Word encounter.

• I pray for you, you will never miss it in this life.
  A life of Daily Word Encounter. Acts 6:2-4. I traveled on Friday and came back Saturday night around 9pm. I began to prepare this message till 1-2am this morning because that is the principal assignment of a Pastor, the preaching and the teaching of the Word. Church Gist. That’s not when to allow those who should serve tables distract you that should serve from the pulpit. Some people will serve tables, some will serve from the pulpit. If you leave the pulpit and get carried away by the table, you will miss God somewhere along the line. In fact, you have missed God already. Acts 6:4. Ministry is the Word, the Word is ministry. To remain in ministry and remain relevant, you must constantly pursue the Word of God. “Papa I know the Word but it’s not producing”, you have not studied the Word till the point where it’ll prevail. Acts 19:20. Church Gist. Let it keep growing, keep hearing and listening to it, read it in books, read the Bible, study it, feed on it, it’ll look as if it’s not working, something is growing, when it grows to a point, it’ll prevail and once it prevails, it will prevail for life. Let all the witches come together, they cannot kill me, the Word of Victory has prevailed in me. Let all the sickness in the world attack me, it won’t survive, the Word of healing has prevailed. Church Gist. Let it keep entering, one day, it will prevail.
• may it prevail in your life today.

1. A life of Daily Prayer. Acts 6:2-4. In the place of prayer, you turn revelation to intercession. You have the Word but in the place of prayer, you pray back the Word to the owner of the Word. John 15:7. So, you don’t just run with the Word, you turn the Word to prayer. Having the Word is one leg, adding prayer is your both legs. A man running with one leg can never catch a man running with both legs. Church Gist. So many are running with one leg, one-legged ministry. The both legs must be involved for speed and stability. Matthew 26:38-42. Where a Christian can’t pray for one hour, he has backslided. That is to say, anytime you cannot pray, you’re weak, you have backslided in the place of prayer, you should be able to do one hour.

• I pray for you today, receive the minimum one hour grace.
  When you begin to study the Word, you begin to pray in the Holy Ghost, pray in understanding, pray all kinds of prayer, your spiritual antenna and senses will be sharpened. Church Gist. You know why things happen to you without you knowing? Your prayer life is dead. Prayer sharpens your antenna, sensitivity and capacity to pick signal. Church Gist. If things happen to you without you picking it, your children, things happen to them, you don’t see it, your prayer life is dead. Your mirror is broken, your spiritual lenses are completely destroyed, but when you stay in prayer, before they appear, you will appear, before they came, you came.
• I pray for you, anywhere the arrow is coming from, you have just escaped. On this my 25 years as a pastor, whatever gift they took from you, spiritual gift, revelation, the gift of the spirit, the fruit of the spirit, ability to pray, whatever they took from you, collect it now! I declare restoration, now! And the Egyptians you saw, you shall see them no more.

1. A life of faithfulness in little and faithfulness when you’re serving under another man. Luke 16:10-12. Church Gist. Stop waiting for when you’ll be big to become faithful. That level you are now, if you’re not faithful at that little level, you’ll never become big in this life. To become big, you must be faithful in managing that which is small. Look at me, as I was leaving Winners Chapel Ikot-Ekpene to Ikorodu, Elders stood on the altar and said, “we saw how you served another man, we saw how you served in another man’s vineyard, we saw how you carried another man’s own on your head, how you follow him, in this life, we stand as Elders of the Church, you will not fail in your own, you will succeed in your own “. Church Gist. I left Ikot-Ekpene, I went to Ikorodu, I only stayed there for 2-3months, as I was leaving, the Elders there stood up, held there hands on the altar, the Chairman said, “I am an elder, I am older than Oyedepo (in Yoruba, we don’t play with age), for 2-3 months, I saw the way you served here, the way you served, we cannot be crying after 2 months when you’re going, 2, 3, 4 years, we don’t cry, we jubilate and sing praises when they transfer Pastors and in two months we are crying, thru didn’t allow us to enjoy this grace and you said you’re going.” He said, “I use the age that I have over and above the GO of this ministry, I bless you, you will succeed in your own”. Look at me. If you treat another man’s own wrongly, your own will remain wrong. Nobody curses anybody, people reap what they sow. Church Gist. Whoever you’re serving now, you’re building your future without knowing. It’s not prophecy, it’s not Amen, it’s for you to reflect. What you’re doing now, is it a good raw material for where you’re going to? Whatever you sow, you’ll reap. Even whatever you sow, you’ll not reap again, you’ll wear, even if it doesn’t size you, dem go force am wear you.
   All these “my oga is wicked” no oga is wicked, it’s you that have a wicked heart, you’re looking for who to deceive, you don’t want to follow process. Nobody just arrives, they follow process. Anywhere you see oga, madam, a pioneer or a leader, they followed process. Church Gist. They followed process before they became products.
2. The life of no offense or bitterness towards your spiritual father and the ministry you’re serving under. Matthew 11:1-6.

• I pray for somebody, this remaining 2 months this year, your result will reply your mockers.
  When you’re offended, you’ll destroy the same grace you have once projected, the grace you have once announced, when you’re offended, you will spoil the name of the grace.
• I pray for somebody hearing me, those who think it is in their power to spoil your name, the more they talk, the more you will prosper!

Offense will break your defense and make you destroy the same grace you once projected. Church Gist. Never be bitter, you can’t be bitter and be better. Hebrews 12:15 bitterness defiles the grace of God in you.

7. A life of constant impartation from higher Graces. Romans 1:11. Philippians 1:7. This is one of those kinds of services where the Church is celebrating something. Church Gist. There’s no Answers Assembly without my ordination into ministry. So anytime you believe in Answers and you don’t believe in me, something is wrong with you. It is my grace that is the overflow of what you see in Answers. Church Gist. Philippians 1:7. Acts 4:13. Look at it, the grace you hang around is the grace that comes around. We started Answers in 2013, November, by January 2014, we bought this land, April 2014, we started this building, by October 2016, we moved into this building. I don’t forget dates, I keep dates. I took that building grace from Bishop Oyedepo. I built a Church in upper Erejuwa in 9 months, I finished it. I took it from Bishop Oyedepo. Church Gist. I’m a product of Impartation. June last year, I started my duplex, after I gave God my 4-bedroom bungalow, we are already finishing at the moment. I took it from Bishop Oyedepo. Never focus on what you don’t like, focus on what you want. You don’t read my books and articles and throw them away. If you carry my book, you’ll stay there. Someone finished reading “Fulfilling your destiny” few weeks ago and she was putting on Facebook what she saw in “fulfilling your destiny”. I took it from Dr. Mike Murdock. I said, I love the wisdom, inspiration and writing capacity and grace of this man, I like the way he writes with inspiration. I put the book on my bed and slept with it. Church Gist. Somebody said, “the way you talk about Mike Murdock, are you aware he is divorced?” His marriage failed when he was young, I didn’t go for marriage, I went for impartation. Don’t focus on what you don’t like, you will forfeit what you like. What you don’t like in any man that carries what you like is the price you have to pay for what you like. I took it from Mike Murdock. Church Gist. There’s virtually no place I will enter now in Nigeria, somebody will not say, “I read your book”. I’ve written only 28 books. I got a call yesterday from Maiduguri, a flight to Abuja paid for from Maiduguri, just to come and talk to us. I took it from that man. The speed we enjoyed when Answers started, I took it from Ibiyeomie. I went for 5 nights of glory this year and I met Deaconess Gladys paralyzed, completely down with a stroke, I just came fresh, Ibiyeomie called me and prayed for me, new glory. Church Gist. I said this problem came at the right time. I went to her house and cursed the devil that wants to give her stroke and make her paralyzed. By the following Sunday, she was jumping on this altar. Church Gist. That is, David Ibiyeomie. If 10 pastors leave Winners, nine must fail, only one will succeed, quote me anywhere. We no even get private car, private helicopter, you come see private jet, you no enter? What?” He said, “Bishop, what will I tell my spiritual father happened to me when I entered plane of somebody they don’t believe in?” You cannot partner with what you forbid, you cannot romance what you forbid, lest, you enter it.
