Magnify the King of Heaven and glorify His name forever. Thank God this morning.
May today mark the end of you shedding tears. 2nd Kings 6:16. Because I’m celebrating this week and you are joining me to celebrate, I decree whatever God will do in my life, He will do it for you, everything that God will do for me, may He do greater for you.
Last Sunday we talked about favour and within the week I also experienced favour. On Monday we went out to see a man of God and they booked a hotel for me and my team, it’s very strange. They booked a suite without knowing I’m the one, but when favour follows you, the case is different. When they got to the reception, they said move this man to the presidential suite, the suite was 600,000+ while the presidential suite was 1.4 million. Now, I lodged in the 1.4 million presidential suite for 600,000. ChurchGist. They didn’t know I was the one, you know some people will say they knew I was the one. They had no idea that I was the one to lodge in there. Do you like that kind of favour? Where you’re to pay #1 and they said we will give you the place of #5.
-This week, my God will surprise you.
-Everywhere you have laboured, favour will take over.
-This is the last day you’ll struggle in life.
-As I’m celebrating this week, all your struggles will come to an end.
I have seen love shown to me in a strange dimension, before even the birthday, people have started showing love. ChurchGist. I have seen all manners of gifts.
-Now, my God will never allow you and your family to be stranded.
Do you know Churches that have nothing to do with us are carrying my birthday celebration on their heads. I have never met some pastors who are advertising my birthday.
-I declare to everyone whose heart is open, this week, my God will surprise you.
People are flying from all over the world to be a part of the birthday, only God will help us with space.
- Now, I decree you will never go anywhere where people will not honour you.
-I declare that my God will make strange things happen to you, in the name of Jesus.
- From my heart, I’m speaking over your life, He gave me a word; John 4:38. I decree what others have prepared, you will walk into it.
They have built houses and prepared things but because of this week, it will be handed over to you.
- I’m saying it because it is the Word of God. That someone who is part of this service and because of this celebration will enter into that fulfilment.
- Others will do everything and then you’ll see your name being announced.
- Just like Daniel, he was relevant in all regimes. I speak to you; you will never be a past product.
- No matter the government that comes, you will not be in the past tense.
- I’m speaking to someone who knows the Word of God. So shall it be. In Jesus name.
Our topic today is; “ENJOYING CONTINUOUS OPEN HEAVEN (3)” and I will be focusing on “HONOURING YOUR MAN OF GOD”.
Men of God are chosen vessels of God, they are not called by public opinion, they are men selected by God for His assignment. ChurchGist. A man of God is not a title you earn, it is what God places on you. Elijah said if I be a man of God. You’re not a man of God because you hold the microphone, you are a man of God when you say something God confirms it. They are also called prophets of God. But because of the way prophets have been abused, people think prophets of God are those who carry dreadlocks. A dreadlock man is a bush man, he’s not a man of God. Somebody seeing your problem does not make him a man of God. But a man who sees your problem and immediately gets a solution, that prophet of God is God’s mouthpiece, they are agents of change, they are instruments.in the Hands of God for the transformation of the destiny of men. When they speak, God confirms it.
With all humility before God, I’m called by Him they are custodians of signs and wonders. God uses them to transform people’s lives. Psalms 24:9-12. When prophets appear on the scene, signs are wrath. Moses appeared on the scene and miracles were wrath. Jesus came on the scene and mighty miracles were wrath. ChurchGist. That is why I tell you today, the miracle you have been looking for God will give it to you today. A prophet is different from an ordinary person.
That we are all speaking does not mean we are equal. ChurchGist That two people are wearing suits does not make them the same. Many of us don’t understand this. Many people say after all we are all called. No! We are not the same. Prophets are chosen by God, you don’t vote them into power, they are called by the election of grace. If it’s by humans, many people won’t have voted for me. I doubt it! But when God wants to use a man you don’t have a part to play.
God used a man called Moses to bring Israel out of bondage. Exodus 3:21. I decree from today; favour will follow you. ChurchGist. They left Egypt by the Word Moses spoke through what God instructed of Him. One thing with prophets is that they are instruments God uses for restoration. No matter how much you’ve suffered, when they appear on the scene, signs are displayed and anytime people are suffering, God sends a prophet to that environment. With all humility, when there was Niger Delta crisis God sent me down here and God used me mightily to stop that crisis.
-This day all of you hearing my voice all over the world, as I am celebrating this week, you will celebrate likewise.
Elisha said they that be with us, he didn’t say they that be with me. He brought everybody under the covering. Saul found himself in the midst of prophets and he began to prophesy. ChurchGist. That we are in the midst of this celebration season, I decree nothing will stop your celebration. Whatever will make you mourn will be averted.
This week, the biggest surprise of your life will come. God will orchestrate it and make it happen this week.
If it means changing time and season for your sake, it will happen.
The widow of Zarephath enjoyed supernatural supply because of a prophet called Elijah and greater than Elijah is here, I prophesy you will never suffer it. ChurchGist. A widow was indebted in 2nd Kings 4:1-7 and then prophet Elisha came on the scene and he asked, what hast thou in the house? And he spoke and the woman’s life turned, she paid her debt.
I don’t know how much you’re owing but everyone in debt, you’re coming out in Jesus’ name.
There was a lady, her husband was owing a bank, they were attending another Church, a sister Church and she became confused because the bank wanted to confiscate their things. ChurchGist. This happened long ago when we started this Church. She came and she was shaking, she said; sir I know you’re a man of God, the bank is on our neck, they want to take away all our property. She was shaking visibly. I asked her; what do you want me to do? She said, I don’t know, do anything you want to do. They were living a high-profile life but nobody knew they were owing heavily and I used 2nd Kings 4 to minister to her.
I said; look at this scripture. She was so confused, she was an educated woman, yet she wore her slippers wrongly. After the ministration, the husband went to Abuja during Abdulsalam Government in the military regime, he stumbled on an Oil and Gas deal, he had a big breakthrough that ran into billions, he cleared his debt. He is among the first twenty people in oil and gas in Nigeria, it was one prayer from his wife. ChurchGist. So sometimes when your husband is in trouble go to God, don’t condemn the man. A good wife does not condemn her husband when he’s at the cross road, go to men of God to say please pray for my husband. God used the woman to bring the husband out.
In the name of Jesus, I’m speaking to someone, because of this birthday, you will hit a major breakthrough.
Your prosperity is tied to the prophet. 2nd Chronicles 20:20b. The Prophet brings profit. How do you know your own men of God? Your man of God is a coach, he rebukes you, he corrects you, he instructs you, not because he hates, he wants the best out of you. ChurchGist. Even in the natural, coaches don’t laugh at their players, it is the fans that clap. Have you ever seen Messi and Ronaldo showing skills and you see their coach clapping for them. No! It is the fans that clap, a coach sees what he wants to bring out of you, while the cheerleader claps for you on the basis of who you are now.
Sometimes I tell you some things, you think they are very hard because I’m your coach, I’m the man God sent to you, I want the best out of you. I tell you; No! Don’t do this, if you do this, you will remain at this level, I’m saying that not because I hate you but because I want the best out of you.
Your friend will be satisfied with where you are, your man of God will be satisfied with where you ought to be. Your friends will be comfortable with whatever you’re doing but the man of God will never be comfortable until you get to the future God desires for you. The man of God will see things you cannot see. ChurchGist. He’s an enemy to your enemies, I can shout at you but you know if anybody wants to attack you, I will kill the person. When anybody dares you, I go all out like a wounded lion. I will come out like a roaring lion, when David was looking after the sheep and one was picked, David went after it and smote the Lion and took the sheep from his lion.
Everyone after your life this week I command them to die. I decree anyone planning to kill you, my God will destroy them.
I’m speaking with the anointing of this hour, anyone planning to attack you, to make you cry this week, they will go down. Whoever that is planning that this week will not be joyful for us, may sorrow become their portion.
Anyone saying I will make this person sad in this week of celebration, I decree sorrow to follow them. They will never see joy in the name of Jesus.
WHAT ARE THE TRAITS OF A TRUE DAUGHTER OR SON OF A MAN OF GOD?
- HE WILL ALWAYS HONOUR THE MAN OF GOD SENT TO HIM.
I hear people saying, that’s my father. Listen, fatherhood is not a mere mouth thing, fatherhood is demonstrated. 2nd Kings 2. Elijah was with Elisha, the Bible says the sons of the prophet said to Elijah, do you know your master will be taken away. That means it was not only Elisha, they were other sons. 2nd Kings 2:3. ChurchGist. They were all sons but these ones were the eye service sons, they are the hypocritical sons, they were just saying to Elijah; Ye! Ye! Ye! They were the funny type, Elisha was the true son but hear the miracle, by the time Elisha returned with the mantle, the Bible said; they bow at the feet of Elisha, they said, the Spirit of Elijah does rest on Elisha.
Now, I decree no matter the crowd, the oil I carry will work for you.
All those who are mocking you and they are saying that you’re following this man sheepishly, I decree after today, they will eat on your table. They will beg you and say please help me in the name of Jesus. Somebody that has been castigating you will beg from you; your mockers will see my God making you.
All those who mocked me that I’m following Oyedepo sheepishly, today I’m helping all of them. The same way I’m helping those who mock me, you will help them this year, between now and December, God will bless you that you will help them, in the name of Jesus.
How you know that you must honour them. Proverbs 27:19. If you’re a true son there will be connectivity not just proximity. ChurchGist. The heart will connect with the person, your heart will accept whatever the person does, you will always think of him that nothing should happen to him, you do that to somebody you’re connected to, when you’re not connected to somebody and you don’t care whatever happens to him.
As many as their hearts are connected, I decree a strange favour over your life. If you’re a true son and a true daughter, your heart will flow in that direction. ChurchGist. There is no day we don’t take a prayer point for Papa Oyedepo in my family, it’s a daily affair, we’ve never told him that this is what we do, it’s not necessary, in every prayer that we pray, one prayer must be for him, that is my own father and I’m your own father, so for you to pray and you don’t remember me in your prayers, something is wrong with you, you’re not connected, you pray for one month and you don’t pray one prayer for me, something is wrong, you think it’s a joke, it means that your heart is not connected, those are the signs.
- YOU MUST OBEY THEIR INSTRUCTIONS.
1st Kings 17:18. The widow of Zarephath obeyed Elisha, it was not convenient but she obeyed. That’s how you know, when they give you instructions you don’t struggle. For example, if I say pray for me this week, you won’t just bullshit it. ChurchGist. Let me tell you a life story, we were in Living Faith Bible School; Word of Faith Bible Institute, my wife and I were in Bible School under Papa Oyedepo and one day Papa Oyedepo came to us and said; Bible School students (we were about 120 in class) I want all of you to go out for soul winning, so that the Church can grow and I took it so serious even though I knew I was not going to work in Winners Chapel, I knew it from the beginning.
But I said Lord, I will sow this seed with all my heart, so that when my own comes I will be able to reap, while I was standing one of my classmate who was standing beside me made a comment (at that time I was not close with Papa Oyedepo), he said Oyedepo wants to use us to build Winners Chapel and this guy is one of the closest people to him and he bow down when he sees him, I looked at him and asked him what he said. His heart was wrong, I led the biggest team in Bible School for evangelism, I stormed Tejuosho like a wounded lion, we ravaged Tejuosho, Yaba and Mile 2 in Lagos, we ravaged the two places, I led the team on soul winning.
If they give you instructions you don’t do it with hypocrisy. For example, I told the service team to pray for me. If you do it hypocritically, you will see the harvest thereof. These things are spiritual.
When you know that you are a true daughter and a true son the way you follow matters, it is not only when you see me, Father, let nothing happen to Papa, those are eye service. ChurchGist. Go on your knees and say, Lord this week of celebration, no attack must happen in his life and his health, no attack on his family and you will see the harvest
I declare an unusual harvest upon your life.
You don’t toil with what they say to you.
- YOU RECEIVE THEIR PERSON.
Matthew 10:41. You cannot stay here and not receive me. Receiving is of the heart, hope you know? Somebody can come to your house and you tell them to sit down but deep inside your heart, you know that you didn’t receive him, do you know it’s possible? You’ll just be saying it in your heart, what is he doing here, let him be going. ChurchGist. But for the person you receive, you’re very glad that the person is around, you’re eager and anticipating their arrival. As my birthday is coming up, you’re excited and seriously anticipating this is for who you receive. But for the person that you don’t receive, you don’t care, you’re like let this Friday pass, this noise is too much. To receive has to do with the heart. How many of you are looking up to Friday (My birthday), these are those who have received me, those who don’t even know what’s happening on Friday. If you’ve been in this Church and you don’t remember Friday, you’ve not received me and you cannot get the prophet’s reward.
How many of you receive me? Now, I lift my hands, may the reward of a prophet rest on you in the name of Jesus.
WHAT IS THE PRACTICAL PROOF THAT YOU LOVE A MAN OF GOD.
Philippians 4:15-19. All your needs cannot be money, there are some people that have given me money and a strange illness left them, there are people that have given me money and they got miracles of all kinds.
Love without giving to the man of God has no demonstration of true love in it. Luke 8:1-3. Jesus healed a woman and they ministered back to Jesus with their substances, they don’t just say; Jesus we love you. You don’t love a man with English. This is Jesus himself, so this week if you minister to me in substance, I’m not wrong. I have ministered to you from January till now even today I’m ministering to you, I’m casting out demons, asking God to bless you, now it’s your substance week. ChurchGist. Okay! Don’t be deceived, you can never get blessed, even if I prophesy from now till tomorrow, if nothing from you reaches my hand. It took me years before I could preach this kind of message, I was like, if I preach something like this, they will say I’m begging, I refused to teach it. One day God said to me; how did you come out of poverty? Tell them your secret otherwise they will never get blessed.
Let me tell you my story; poverty was at our door as a married couple, poverty has grades, we have grade A, grade B and all of that, our own was high grade, my wife had no account because her account was dormant, I had no account either. We entered the ministry and God said go to Port Harcourt, I said Lord, Port Harcourt of all places. How do I do it? But hear what happened, in the midst of that poverty, I read a book by Gloria Copeland; God’s will is prosperity, that was the book that Papa Oyedepo read that made him come out of poverty and when I was meditating, God said you pay tithe, you give offering but you don’t give to your prophet. ChurchGist. He said if you don’t give to your prophet, you will never prosper, He said don’t you know that your prophet determines your prosperity. He said, who is blessing you? I said Oyedepo, He said from today, sow to his life, if you don’t want to be a beggar. So, at home all we had as at that time was #50, I took the #50 and put it in an envelope,
Two hours after, a man knocked our door in Victoria Island, he said pastor, God has blessed me with #10,000 I give you #2,000. I said wow, so this is how this thing works, I removed my tithe, my offering and my prophet offering, from that day till date, I have never been broke. ChurchGist. I have a safe for prophet offering, I pay tithe and offering, this is the secret to my Kingdom wealth. You can do everything but if you don’t sow to your prophet you’ll be struggling because your prophet is the man that speaks over your life.
God said, teach them what made you to come out, it took me years before I could teach it, I said if I teach it now, some people will say that I’m begging, God said go ahead and tell them your secret. Okay! Some people will come and give testimony; I gave Papa #10,000 and God have me #100,000, who blessed who? There is nothing you give me that you don’t get more than what you gave to me, so the real truth is, you’re not blessing me, I’m the one blessing you. ChurchGist. The day you stop giving the prosperity will also stop, if I stop giving to Papa Oyedepo today, my prosperity will stop; if Papa Oyedepo stops giving to Papa Adeboye and Copeland, his prosperity will stop. There is a continuous process, it is not only my birthday that you will sow, but birthday is a good avenue, but after the birthday you have to live it as a lifestyle but the birthday own has to be heavy, so that all this heavyweight prophecy will work.
The healing and prosperity anointing are different, they are not the same, I can lay my hands on you and say be healed and you’ll be healed but I can’t Lay my hands on you and say hi and prosper and you’ll prosper because there has to be a point of contact. You don’t need any point of contact for healing. ChurchGist. Let me tell you something that will shock you, if my wife does not sow to me, she can’t prosper. Why? There is nothing like my husband, she said to me day before yesterday, do you know I wanted to give you an amount and God told me that the amount was small that I should increase it, he told me to give you another level, I’m her prophet, so she must sow to me, that’s why people give her money, she gives me money every time and so people give her money every time. The reason why some pastor’s wives are broke is because they think being a pastor’s wife is just automatic, he is your prophet.
Every branch of this Church that is poor, it is your pastor that is making you poor. Why? That pastor does not sow to me, if you’re struggling in your branch just know that your pastor does not sow to me, across the branches where they prosper, the pastor gives to me. If I stop giving to Oyedepo, this Church will stop prospering, if I stop this Church blessing will stop it’s a law. ChurchGist. Anywhere you see any Church of this ministry struggling, that pastor (full time /per time). The oil on me will not work for him because he’s a member. Pastor can pray for the sick and he gets well but that branch will never prosper, if that pastor does not sow to me, including you members.
Even company sow, if you want your company to prosper, tap into this anointing from your company. Your company can also tap into the grace and say this coming we must stop struggling as a company. I can pray for you to carry all the anointing I carry but there must be a point of contact for blessings to be transferred. That’s why you see some pastors under me struggling because they don’t know that until they give to me, that can’t prosper and every branch struggling, your pastor is your problem
