THE WISDOM OF GOD MADE A ROYAL OUT OF A REFUGEE; A PRIME MINISTER OUT OF A PRISONER
THE PATH OF WISDOM WILL LEAD IN THE WAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; YOU CAN’T HAVE THE WISDOM OF GOD AT WORK IN YOUR LIFE AND END UP IN HELL
WE ARE IN A GENERATION THAT HAS MASTERED THE ACT OF PURITY BUT LACK THE HEART OF PURITY.
WE CAN ACT IT VERY WELL, BOWING DOWN TO EVERYBODY BUT IN YOUR HEART, YOU ARE SLAPPING THEM.
I WANT TO ARGUE OR CONTEND THAT 95% OF US HERE ARE PURE, BUT IT IS A LIE.
ANYTHING DONE IN CHURCH BUT DOES NOT LEAD US TO BECOME IN TOUCH WITH GOD IS ONLY TRADITION

THANK GOD FOR RICHES, THANK GOD FOR WEALTH, BUT THANK GOD MUCH MORE FOR ETERNITY WITH CHRIST.
THERE ARE THOSE WHO TELL LIES AND THERE ARE THOSE WHO LIVE LIES. BEING IN CHURCH WITHOUT KNOWING CHRIST IS LIVING A LIE.

Let’s go ahead and exalt the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords tonight. Let’s bless His name and glorify Him. There is something that awaits you tonight in His presence. Father thank you for another opportunity for a new level in you.
Go ahead and ask the Lord for a Word tonight. A Word from God can transform a man’s world. Heavenly Father, all eyes are on you tonight. No man came here for another man or woman. We are all looking up to you. Church Gist. By the blood of the Lamb, we gain access into this wisdom bank tonight. Send us your Word of wisdom with power. Holy Spirit, we ask that you take over this service tonight and let Jesus be glorified. I decrease that only you may increase in our midst in Jesus’ name.
Praise the Lord I’m more than a conqueror!
Tonight we continue looking at the series of teaching that our Father in the Lord began and this is Part 5 of it. It’s captioned, “UNVEILING THE WORTH OF DIVINE WISDOM.” 3 things will be very important tonight as this journey begins:
- In the Kingdom of God divine wisdom is our priority. Church Gist. In Proverbs 4:7, tonight someone will get a new dimension of the wisdom of God.
- In the Kingdom of God, divine wisdom is our most valuable commodity. And look at how valuable this commodity of wisdom is in Proverbs 8:11. Proverbs 16:16, in other words, nothing can be compared to divine wisdom in the Kingdom of God.
- In the Kingdom of God, divine wisdom guarantees our eternity with Christ. Church Gist. This is quite crucial because if anything we do in this kingdom doesn’t lead to our reigning with Him there, it is a waste of time. Proverbs 9:10. It is required to enrol in the school of wisdom. Hebrews 12:14.
- In the name of Jesus, with all we are hearing about wisdom, none of us will miss eternity with Christ. On the streets of gold we will be greeting one another!
This is why access to this wisdom is an asset of estimable value. Why? It guarantees eternity with Christ. In Job 1:1-3, we see that Job was no ordinary man. Church Gist. Job now began to show us in Job 29:4, that it was God’s wisdom that gave him all the wealth that he got but he couldn’t enter that realm of wisdom without the fear of God. Our access to this wisdom which is the fear of God is an asset of inestimable value.
- None of us will miss the downpour of Heaven’s wisdom this month!
One of the things I have discovered about the wisdom of God is that it converts liabilities into assets. And so many examples in Scriptures. You have the example of Joseph – a man who operated in this wisdom, it made a prime minister out of a prisoner. Church Gist. What is the link between being in prison and not just getting to the palace but sitting on the throne? Wisdom. When he opened up his mouth he vomited the wisdom of God. Genesis 41:38. Slept one night in the prison, the other day entered the palace. The same day, sat upon the throne. And his second night, from prison he slept in royalty. Church Gist. That is the power of the wisdom of God.
You have the man called David. A man of God’s wisdom. In fact it was said about David that, ‘My Lord is wiser than an angel.’ (2 Samuel 14:20). A man of strange wisdom! This man came out as a hero as a youth. Church Gist. This wisdom has no regard for age; if you carry this wisdom you can be a hero at any age. 17, the wisdom found David; by 30 he was already reigning.
The example of Solomon: this wisdom made a King out of a child. 1 Kings 3:3-13.
The example of Daniel: I love this example so much because the wisdom of God made a royal out of a refugee. Church Gist. That wasn’t his home country but he ended up as a royal where he wasn’t born by the wisdom of God.
I love the example of Paul the Apostle. This wisdom as acclaimed that Paul had by Peter. (2 Peter 3:15-16). He came late; he began as a territorial nuisance but this wisdom made him a territorial commander. Church Gist. In the same area where he was a nuisance, the wisdom of God made him a territorial commander.
The example of this commission: the wisdom of God has made this commission a global attraction in a nation of global concern.
- I don’t know where you and I may be, but by what will happen to us by the wisdom of God, in just a few days left this month, whatever position we may be, it changes.
That’s why we said access to this wisdom converts liabilities into assets. Church Gist. I have good news for somebody: those who have mocked you will soon come and bow down at your feet by the wisdom of God.
Now, what is the worth of this wisdom?
- Divine wisdom leads us in the way of righteousness: Psalm 23:1-3; Proverbs 8:20; Proverbs 14:12; Matthew 7:13-14. Church Gist. The path of wisdom will lead in the way of righteousness. Job 28:7. There is a path of righteousness; there is a path of destruction. The difference here is that divine wisdom leads us in the way of righteousness. Permit me to say therefore that one major worth of divine wisdom is that divine wisdom is our GPS in this Kingdom. Church Gist. GPS means Global Positioning System. The wisdom of God is God’s positioning system. You can’t have the wisdom of God at work in my life and in your life and end up in hell. The wisdom of God will keep showing you the right path to go.
- In the name of Jesus, again as we prayed at the beginning, none of us will miss Heaven.
How do you and I know we are on the path of righteousness leading to eternity with Christ? Among other things, there are a few pointers, a few avenues you have to pass. If you have not met or passed these avenues, I can guarantee you that you are not on the right path.
The first avenue you will meet is what I call PURITY AVENUE. Church Gist. When the wisdom of God is at work in your life and is setting you in the path of righteousness, you will pass this first avenue called PURITY AVENUE. Matthew 5:8. It has become a missing element in the church today. We are in a generation that has mastered the Act of Purity, but lack the Heart of Purity. We can act it very well, bowing down to everybody, but in your heart, you are slapping them. We have mastered the Act but lack the HEART. But guess what, it is the heart that the Lord sees. It’s not the Act. Purity! Purity! Our thoughts, pure! Everything about us, pure! Our actions and intentions alike! Today if we are to rate purity by actions, I want to argue or contend that 95% of us here are pure, but it’s a lie. Church Gist. That is purity by ACT. But when it comes to purity by HEART how many can still stand before the Lord?
The wisdom of God. Church Gist. Oh, I am on the path of righteousness, how do you know sir? I have passed by Purity Avenue. I have been corrected, reproved by the Lord. Even when no man sees it, He sees it. Purity Avenue.
Number 2 avenue you must pass by on the path of righteousness is what I call CHARACTER AVENUE. You can’t be walking on the path of righteousness and character has not changed since you came to the altar. Church Gist. Character Avenue! 1 Thessalonians 2:10.
When the character of some are seen you can tell they are not on the path of righteousness. Character avenue! You can’t be on character avenue and after a service like this your voice is the loudest in the parking lot, looking for the next official to slap! Character!
Number 3 avenue that you must pass if you are on the path to righteousness is what I call UTTERANCE AVENUE. When you are on the path to righteousness, something happens to the kind of words you can utter! Titus 2:8.
Is that not what happened to Daniel? They found nothing against him but for the law of his God. Can you speak without watching who is peeping? Do you have to look around to rearrange your Speech? Church Gist. If you have to, you are not on the path to righteousness. Because when no one is there, he still listens.
The fourth avenue you must pass on in this path to righteousness is, TRUTH AVENUE.
I love this Scripture so much because it’s a Scripture that my mother who is here tonight shared with us so many years ago. 2 John 1:1-4.
Walking in truth, speaking the truth. When you lie, don’t repaint, repent. The church is full of people repainting lies. “I didn’t really mean it.” And you know, you can be under pressure and lie till it becomes your nature. Instead of repainting, Lord what should a man have done. Everybody does it. What you should say is Lord, I repent of this lie, I want to walk in the truth. Church Gist. Let me quickly say this: it is impossible for you to walk and live by the truth and not get into a lot of trouble. Liars have ease in the now but trouble in their tomorrow. But people who stand by the truth have trouble now, but ease in their tomorrow. You see when you are a man or woman of truth, you see, you can sleep without worry. The trouble has come, and so it will pass. But when you live lies even after the trouble never appeared to you, it will appear to you in your dreams and you won’t be able to rest well.
I pray for us tonight, that in the name of Jesus, everything anti-truth in us by the wisdom of God, it gives way today!
The fifth Avenue you have to pass on the path to righteousness is what I call LOVE AVENUE. If I see how you treat the brethren, I can tell whether you are in this path or not. The people working for you are not your slaves. They are precious in the eye of God. Love! Love! Love! You when you leave a place, do they thank God that you have left? Or do they pray against your leaving? There’s a difference. There are some praying for you to leave, there are others praying that you never leave. It’s all a function of your love. 1 John 4:7-13.
How can you say that you are on the path of righteousness that will lead to eternity with Christ and you do not love? You have miss road. Not just live for God, but love for man. How can you claim you love God whom you have not seen and the neighbor that you can see you do not love. I don’t love you oh, but I love God. It’s a fake love. Love avenue!
So, I how do I know that I’m on the path of righteousness, how do I know that divine wisdom is leading me in the way of righteousness? How do I know that my GPS has not lost signal? You will know by:
A, You passed Purity avenue
B, You’ve passed Character avenue
C, You’ve passed Utterance avenue
D, You’ve passed Truth avenue
E, You’ve passed Love avenue.
And there are many more. In the name of Jesus, we will never miss our way. So that’s all under number one, that Divine wisdom leads us in the way of righteousness.
Number 2, Divine wisdom secures durable riches. Church Gist. Many like this one, but before this one is righteousness. Proverbs 8:11.12 and 18. So we read it but throw away the righteousness and look at riches, but he said durable riches and righteousness. Church Gist. Wisdom is synonymous with wealth. The wisdom from above is also synonymous with wealth that endures. But the wisdom from above secures wealth that endures through the covenant. Deuteronomy 8:18. Genesis 8:22 Luke 6:13.
So divine wisdom secures durable riches, riches that endure beyond your life span. Church Gist. What separates the wisdom form above with the wisdom from this world is that you can find a man that has found wisdom in this world and is very wealthy, but after he disappears, he everything disappears, but when it is from above, it is durable. Example is Abraham. It did t end with Abraham, it went to Isaac. It didn’t end with Isaac, it went to Israel. It didn’t end with Israel of then it is still with Israel of now.
In the name of the Lord Jesus, may the wisdom of God come afresh upon us that will show us the way to durable riches in our generation!
Number 3, Divine wisdom guarantees honor. Proverbs 8:18. When God honors a man even unbelievers must honor him. When God honors a woman even naysayers must honor them. Church Gist. We’ve heard our father in the Lord say that those people who throw abuses at him only do so at a distance, when they come close, they honor him. Honor. I love what happened in the life of Paul the Apostle. Acts 26:28.
I’m supposed to hear your case and think of how to punish you, but I’m hearing your case and thinking of polishing you. You are almost persuading me to join your faith. Church Gist. That is the wisdom of God honoring a man on trial. When the wisdom of God honors you, even when you are on trial, you end up in triumph!
I don’t know who I’m speaking to here tonight, that trial by the wisdom of God will end up in triumph!! Did I hear the loudest amen?
Number 4, Divine wisdom engenders supernatural change of level. Don’t tell me you have found the wisdom from above and in 5 years levels have not changed. Proverbs 4:7 – 9. Your levels will change! Am I hearing somebody say Amen?
Divine wisdom engraved the carrier an ornament of grace. Church Gist. You can’t carry the wisdom of God and lack the presence of God. You can’t carry the wisdom of God and lack the help of God. So divine wisdom engraces the carrier.
Luke 1:80, 2:40. Luke 1:80 is talking about John the Baptist. He walked in power, great ministry but if you look at how John’s ministry ended, it makes you begin to wonder what was missing. Luke 2:40. The difference was Jesus was filled with wisdom, you couldn’t match their ministries. One had the power but lacked the wisdom. Church Gist. The other had the power and the wisdom and till today, at the mention of His name, every knee, every ogboni, every principality bows at the mention of His name. The difference was wisdom and the proof of the wisdom was grace. May you and I step into new realms of grace in the name of Jesus.
What have we said in essence? In the kingdom of God divine wisdom is our priority, divine wisdom is our most valuable commodity, divine wisdom guarantees our eternity with Christ. Church Gist. We have said access to this wisdom is an asset of inestimable value.
What is the worth of this wisdom?
- It leads us in the way of righteousness. It is the GPS to remain righteous and stand right before God. How do we know that we are on the path of righteousness? Church Gist. You will pass purity avenue, pass character avenue, pass utterance avenue, pass love avenue
- Divine wisdom secures durable riches.
- Divine wisdom guarantees honour
- Divine wisdom engenders supernatural change of levels.
- It engraces the carrier.
I think what we need to do tonight is to ask for a downpour of that wisdom. Will you please lift up your voice tonight and ask for this order of wisdom. Ask for a downpour of this order of wisdom. The wisdom from above. Lord, thank you for realms of power, thank you for realms of appointing but now I cry out for your wisdom. Church Gist. Lord, I cry for your wisdom tonight, the same order at work in this commission, the same order at work in your servant, the same order at work in Paul the Apostle. Paul wasn’t just a man of incredible power, He was a man of undeniable wisdom.
In Jesus’ precious name we have prayed.
- That wisdom is hereby released afresh upon us.
Anything that ends up in Church but does not lead to us becoming in touch with God is only tradition. Let me quickly say this and I believe it will help us very mightily, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, the only way to enlist in the school of wisdom is to accept Jesus in truth and in deed. If you can’t remember the time you accepted Jesus publicly, maybe you never did. He said if you are ashamed of me before men, I will be ashamed of you before My Heavenly Father. Thank God for riches, thank God for wealth, but thank God much more for eternity with Christ. None of us came with anything, none of us will leave with anything but there is one day that we will all stand before the judgement seat of Christ not by Church, not by service unit, not by family we shall all stand one by one. Church Gist. There is someone here who is saying “I don’t want to fake it anymore, I want to be real with Jesus”. If Jesus tarries, many of us will leave to see the trumpet sound and then it will be too late to make a second choice. There are those who tell lies and there are those who live lies.

Give God thanks for everything that came your way tonight for you and to you. Give God the praise.

- This night for many of us is declared a night of visions and revelations, everyone desiring a testimony by this time next week, the world would have heard your testimony.
