WHEN GOD STOPS LEADING, IMPACT STARTS DYING!
LIFE BECOMES HARD WHEN GOD IS NOT YOUR SHEPHERD!
IF GOD IS NOT YOUR SHEPHERD, THEN HARDSHIP HAS STARTED!
TO OUTGROW DIVINE DIRECTION IS TO GROAN IN LIFE!
SO TO KEEP MAKING WAVES, YOU MUST KEEP FOLLOWING HIS WAYS!

HEARING GOD IS NOT COMPLEX!
EVERYTIME THAT YOU ARE FASTING, YOUR SPIRITUAL ANTENNA IS SHARP!
GOD SPEAKS EVERY MOMENT. HE HAS NO PROBLEM WITH TALKING, HE TALKS TO THE POINT THAT HE CALLS HIMSELF, ‘THE WORD’.
WE ARE QUIET IN THE OUTSIDE BUT BUSY ON THE INSIDE, WITH ALL MATERIAL THINGS CHOKING OUR HEARTS ON THE INSIDE!
EVERYTIME THAT YOU ARE SAYING, ” GOD GIVE ME DIRECTION!”, BE READY FOR AN INSTRUCTION!
IF witches ARE ATTACKING YOU WHERE YOU ARE, FIND OUT IF GOD SENDS YOU THERE!
NEVER PLAY DOWN ON DIVINE GUIDANCE, IT MAKES YOU A STAR IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

Give that hand to Jesus Christ! I want to deeply appreciate God for this privilege. I appreciate you, my father and mother, the Bishop. Everything that I’m about to say is what I learnt from here, so maybe you have heard from him. Church Gist. If you have heard from him, you may believe that’s all but I don’t think that I will say something new that you have not heard. But at least, I will add something of value to your life.
-Prayer: Father, speak to us through Your Word. Spirit of God, we depend on You totally. Speak through me to be a blessing to Your people, in Jesus Mighty Name, we have prayed!
Praise the Lord! You know, what I’m about to share with you is, “NO ONE EVER OUTGROWS DIVINE DIRECTION”.
When God stops leading, impact starts dying! Church Gist. Life becomes hard when God is not your Shepherd! In Psalms 23, he said, ” The Lord is my Shepherd”. If God is not your Shepherd, then hardship has started! When God is not your compass, then the vision will not come to pass! His own is to show, man’s own is to go! And when you stop going His way, He stops showing the way!
-Prayer: But I’m sure that today, God will continually show you the way! Amen!
To outgrow Divine direction is to groan in life! So to keep making waves, you must keep following His ways! To become the voice, you must keep following His voice! If you must keep going forward, you must know what God is saying per time! Divine direction is the beauty of Christianity!
-Prayer: I pray that someone will hear something beginning from now in the Name of Jesus!
Now, vision will always be the unfolding of God’s plan, but you need Divine direction to know how to accomplish it! By listening to our father, I’m taking entirely from him, “Vision is like a book”. When a book is handed over to you that is vision. Many have gotten vision from God but they have not opened it chapter by chapter. The chapters are the ‘Divine directions’. That you have a book does not mean that you understand it. Church Gist. Every chapter that you open gives you information, and information gives you direction- That’s Divine direction!
Yeah, you have gotten ‘the book’, God has told you, that this is what He wants you to do, but you keep opening it chapter by chapter. And that is what makes you a star as a Minister of the Gospel! It is those who yield to Divine direction, that makes progress in life and in Ministry!
One primary Ministry of the Holy Spirit is to guide us. The Holy Spirit is our Spiritual GPS (Global Positioning System). In John 16:13, He speaks, so your ability to hear matters a lot. Church Gist. He speaks every moment but many of us don’t know when He speaks.
-Prayer: We pray that you hear Him directly in the Name of Jesus Amen.
So it’s a lifetime adventure, it’s not something that you do and stop. Most frustrations are traceable to lack of Divine direction. In John 21, Peter said, ” I go a fishing”. He used the word, ‘I’, that is to say he left Jesus and the Holy Spirit. And he was so frustrated! That’s what some of us do, you say, “I have read, learned, I know the expertise and all that it takes to become a Minister”. Church Gist. You left the Holy Spirit aside, he used the word, ‘I go a fishing’ . As far as he went, ‘I’, he never caught a fish.
And Jesus met him and said, “Cast your net on the right side”. He gave him specific instructions. Which means, many of us are on the wrong side! Church Gist. And when he did that, we all knew the story, and so Peter’s frustrations ended.
-Prayer: Someone’s frustration is ending right now in the Name of Jesus!
That was in the dispensation of Jesus, now, we are in the dispensation of the Holy Spirit! I know someone is saying, “If Jesus was here, I wouldn’t have been frustrated!” The Holy Ghost is with you!
In Isaiah 48:17-21, we say that when ‘He’ led them and not when ‘they’ led themselves. Church Gist. So no matter how hard it may be, if He is the one leading you, you are sure to make it!
-Prayer: And somebody will make it in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
So to be guided by the Holy Spirit, you must do the following:
1.Be sensitive to His leading per time!
In Revelation 1:10, if you look at that verse you will know that when there was a storm, you will see the beauty of the eagle. The eagle displays its beauty where there is a heavy storm! Church Gist. So believers and Ministers should display the best when things are not working for others.
The reason is that when there is a storm, the eagle does not work like every other bird. It stands on top of the rock at a high mountain, it calculates the direction of the wind first, then it is able to pick the direction of the wind, it now lifts itself and spreads its wings. Church Gist. The rock is the Word, the wind is the Holy Ghost!
So when a believer looks at the direction of the Holy Spirit, and is able to leap with The Word, when others are struggling to fly, you will just be soaring and making things happen!
-Prayer: May someone join the eagle’s realm in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Be sensitive to move until you hear from Him!
- Be obedient to His voice because many of us hear His voice but we are not obedient to His voice! If you want to depend on the Holy Spirit for direction, you must be obedient! Church Gist. Hebrews 3:16. God will not take you beyond your last act of obedience!
When we were in the Bible School here, I heard clearly, “Go to Port-Harcourt!” I didn’t like Port-Harcourt, I grew up there, I went to school there but I didn’t like the place. And I was living in Victoria Island, Lagos State. Church Gist. So I wanted Lagos State, that was where my heart wanted. But that is not where God wanted me to be! To cut the long story short, I’m in Port-Harcourt today and the proof is showing!
-Prayer: I pray that today, someone will go to the place where God wants him to be! Amen!
A friend of mine said, “Let’s start from Lagos”. Oh! The day that I agreed with him to say, ” Okay, let’s start!” God stops speaking to me. For every prayer that I prayed, He said, “You are wasting your time because your heart is saying, Lagos State”! Church Gist. The one I told you to do, you have not done it. And when I said, “I will leave for Port-Harcourt”. The provisions came that same day. So if you lack provision, check to see if you are in the place where God wants you to be!
- You must be meek Psalm 25:9. If you are not meek enough, God will not guide you. Our father said so much about that yesterday. Church Gist. I don’t have to say much. No matter how far you have gone in the wrong direction, when God speaks, you must follow Him!
You don’t get to your destination, taking the wrong direction. When God speaks to you, drop your own and be meek enough to pick His own! When God told me, “Leave for Port-Harcourt”, Church Gist. I dropped my Lagos State. Lagos is where I loved but Port-Harcourt is where He wanted!
Before I went to Port-Harcourt, people said to me, ” No!!! Ministry is for Abuja and Lagos State”. But today, everybody is saying that, “Port-Harcourt is the oil city” because they are seeing the proof of raw prosperity! Church Gist. Because that’s where God wants me to be!
There is nowhere that God will send you, that you will experience dryness! If you are experiencing dryness? You are the one who sent yourself!
4.You must continuously enquire in prayer 2 Samuel 5:19 and 23. That God has given you a pattern does not mean that it is in the same pattern that He will come everytime. Avoid same pattern syndrome!
That God told you to do a particular thing in a particular pattern does not mean that you must follow that way! Enquire from God and ask, “Is that how I should follow that step?” Church Gist. The approach that He told our father to go to Kaduna is not the approach that He told him to go to Lagos. He is a Sovereign God, so don’t box Him.
You pray and ask Him, “Lord, what are You saying?”Jeremiah 33:3.
-Prayer: And He will speak to someone in the Name of Jesus!
Why you must not follow the same pattern is that, for instance, He told Abraham when he was in Egypt when there was feminine Genesis 22:1. Church Gist. But when He came to Isaac, Isaac was to go to Egypt and He said, ” No, stay here!” Genesis 26:2. That somebody went to America and prosper does not mean that if you go to America that you will prosper!
Most of our brothers have left Africa for America and they are paupers! Because you don’t think that an alligator from Nigeria becomes a crocodile in the United Kingdom. They sent themselves! Not God!
That someone went somewhere does not mean that you must go to that same place, find your own! Don’t follow the crowd, follow His leading!
-Prayer: And I pray that someone will follow His leadings in the Name of Jesus!
Just imagine if Isaac had followed his father to Egypt, he would have been in suffering.
- Absolute dependence on the Holy Spirit! Proverb 3:5-6. Make no plan B! When it comes to Divine direction, ignore your personal opinion and the opinion of others! Depend on whatever the Holy Spirit says to you, if He says, “This is what I want”, drop your own opinion, philosophy and ideologies! Because He knows the end from the beginning! Church Gist. He knows what is better for you than you know yourself!
-Prayer: I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide someone even as we speak right now in the name of Jesus!
6.Learn to pray in the Holy Spirit with a particular focus on a subject matter. You want directions from Him, this is one of my best ways practically that has worked for me more than any other way- If you are a lover of God then the Holy Spirit has no problem with revealing things to you 1 Corinthians 2:12. Church Gist. You want direction from Him, this is very direct! As a man you know in part but the Holy Ghost knows all things, so you must pray in the Holy Ghost! 2 Corinthians 2:10. Most times when we pray in the Holy Ghost, we only pray in tongues only when we are praying, but that’s beyond that!
In my studies, God could show me deep insights. He said, ” My work is not just for you to pray for me to help in your infirmities, you focus your mind in the areas that you want divine directions and guidance because without your mind, I’ll do nothing! Philemon 1:14.
So your mind will be focused on the issues that you want Him to give you specific instructions and then you go to the Holy Spirit Church Gist. (Speaking in tongues), focusing on that issue! In less than 20 minutes, He will tell you exactly what you should do! I gave an illustration, which I have shared here with you.
For instance, Rivers State is an oil producing area. Is that true? But you can’t just go to Rivers State and say, “I want to drill oil!” You must first of all identify where the oil is located. So, your mind must be focused on the area that you want Divine direction. You don’t just pray, “Oh! Holy Ghost give me direction”. You must say, “I need direction concerning this specific area!” Is it Homecell? Church Gist. Now, Holy Spirit, what are you saying concerning the Homecell! Then you now pray in tongues! Focusing on that area! He will just bring out what you need to do for the Homecell to grow! Are you getting what I am talking about?
-Prayer: And someone will get direction, in the Name of Jesus!
- Cultivate a lifestyle of worship and praise Isaiah 30:29. You know? Most times, we sing emotional songs, you can’t hear Him with emotional songs! You have to sing with gladness of heart! Don’t ever worship when you are depressed! The Holy Spirit will never flow with you! Or when you think that you are angry, you know, nobody knows but deep down in your heart, you say, “I’m a Minister of the Gospel, why am I passing through all these?” Church Gist. Then you sing, Father, you are good! And God says, “No, I won’t answer! You can’t harass me”.
So there has to be joy in your heart flowing from the inside! He rises on the wings of Worship! He loves worship! When you create an atmosphere of worship and praise, you create an atmosphere for the Holy Ghost to manifest! Church Gist. Watch everytime that you worship and praise, the atmosphere is cleared for Him to just flow! Because, without Him moving, your Word has no power! Until the Spirit moved, let there be Light and there was Light! When you worship, He gives you Light from the Holy Ghost Genesis 1:1-3. He just tells you, “My son, this is what you need to do!”
That’s why Elisha said, bring me a Minstrel and the Hand if God came upon him. 2 Kings 3:15. Watch every time that there is heavy praise and worship, every saint’s man of God hears from God even in the Church! Church Gist. Form it because every saint’s choir is one inch below the nose. This is your choir (pointing to the mouth), you don’t need any special choir. Just one inch below your nose.
Your choir is your tongue, teeth and your mouth! So everybody can be a praise leader! You don’t have to wait for a praise leader, you are a praise leader, this is your choir! (Pointing to the tongue). So just get up in the night and worship God in your own way! Most times, we worship but we don’t allow Him to talk! It’s like being on a telephone call, you say, “Wa-wa-wa-wa-wa!” And then you hang up!
When you worship, you pause because you are expecting Him to communicate back to you- carry your biro and note book, then you begin to listen to Him and He will just be dictating to you just the way He gave the Scriptures to the men of old. He will tell you, “My son, now that you have created the atmosphere, this is what I want you to do and this is how I want you to do it!”
-Prayer: I pray that someone will hear from Him in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
Because with melody, the Holy Spirit gives you strategy to avert tragedy! When you are making melody in your heart, you are worshipping Him the way He wants to be worshiped, then you hear God as a man hears His friend!
You just hear Him! Hearing God is not complex! You hear our father say, “I hear God!”
-Prayer: And you will bear Him clearly in the Name of Jesus!
- Fasting. Now everytime that you are fasting, your Spiritual antenna is sharp! So He speaks when you fast Acts 13:2 and 3. Most times, we are fasting without just listening to Him. He speaks! God talks every moment. He has no problem with talking, He talks to the point that He calls Himself, ‘The Word’. Church Gist. There is no time that He is not talking, but most times, we are not hearing His Voice. We are too busy to hear from Him! God talks every moment! He said, “Look! I talk! That’s why I call Myself, ‘The Word’!” Every moment, I’m speaking to My people, but My people are too busy!
We are quiet on the outside but busy on the inside, with all the material things choking our heart on the inside! So when He is speaking, we are not hearing Him! You know that if you want to talk to a child, you must allow the child to have your attention. If the child is jumping everywhere you won’t make a comment, is that true? You will want the child to be very attentive, you will say, “Junior, listen! I want to speak to you”, but if the boy is jumping up and down, you know that you will not talk.
Most times we are jumping on the inside, and so God cannot speak to us! You are saying, ” God speak, I want to listen but you are too busy on the inside, you are calculating the rent you will pay, the school fees of your children and the car that you want to buy. And God will say, “Until you are through, before I can talk!” You are too busy on the inside! Church Gist. All these material things do not matter, so calm down first let me talk to you. But when you are calm, God speaks!
-Prayer: God will speak to someone in the Name of Jesus!
- You must adhere to the instructions of The Word. The Word of God is the book of Divine direction Psalms 119:105. God’s Word guides you. God’s Word is for instruction! 2 Timothy 3:16. So when you want a miracle, God gives you instructions. Everytime that you are saying, “God give direction!” Church Gist. Be ready for an instruction! Most times, we are asking God for direction, but we are not ready for instructions!
Everytime you say, “God, do this for me!” Expect an instruction from God!” They wanted wine, He said, “Put water!” John 2:7. He wanted somewhere bigger than ‘Radioba’, He said to him, when they got there, “This is the place!” He gave him an instruction for the next phase of the Ministry! Church Gist. He said to our father, “This place that you are standing is the Place”. So if you are asking for directions, get ready for an instruction!
I wanted to get money to move to Port-Harcourt. And I said, “Lord! How do I do this because from the family that I’m coming from, ‘We are not permitted to borrow or take loans! Though some of you take it, even my father doesn’t know! But in this family we are not taught and permitted to take loan or borrow, so what do I do? Church Gist. Because the money to go to Port-Harcourt was huge, He asked me specifically to go to GRA (Government Reserved Area) in Port-Harcourt. And He gave me an instruction and said, “How many people are in this house?” And I said “About 20 something people”. And He said, ” Feed them in my Word”. And from there, I’ll raise the money that you are looking for! So I called them and said, “Everyday, we will have a 30 minutes Fellowship”.
In less than one month, everybody in the house blew, and the money came from there! Because I didn’t need to beg! He said feed them with The Word and from the Word, I’ll raise people that will bring the money! Church Gist. So when you are asking God for a miracle, be ready for an instruction!
Now, the rewards of Divine direction as I close. What are the rewards?
- You don’t lack provisions Psalms 23, Isaiah 48:21. Church Gist. If the Lord is not your Shepherd, know that you are the problem. Everything was just working, because He was leading them!
-Prayer: Dryness is just leaving someone’s life in the Name of Jesus!
- You enjoy continuous triumph 2 Samuel 5:19-25. David was just winning because His steps are being guided by the Lord, he didn’t struggle to win the war, he just heard the Lord say, “Do it this way, go this way!”
- You will be made Matthew 4:19. When you follow Him, you are made with ease!
- Goodness and Mercies will just follow you Psalms 23:1 and 6
- You will enjoy Divine protection! All the witches in Ota could not harm our father, demons here cannot harm him because he came here by Divine direction Psalms 23: 1 and 4. Church Gist. If witches are attacking you where you are, find out if God sends you there!
- You access Divine secrets when you walk in Divine guidance Isaiah 48:17.
- Which is a direct one from him, because when he gave me the assignment, I had to read everything that I have learned from him and then cook the soup the way it should be cooked in my own way. Everything that you are seeing here, he has said it in one way or the other. I listened to all of them, and then, we are distributors! Church Gist. If I hear plenty of tapes, there is no way that I can combine 1000 tapes and you will know where I am coming from. I hear all! So I just take small here and there and just cooked all together and deliver them.
-Prayer: You are Supernaturally empowered! Judges 6:14.
He energizes you to deliver. Your intellect, emotions and physical strength will come alive when you are walking by Divine guidance! Church Gist. Praise the Lord! Never play down on Divine guidance, it makes you a star in the Kingdom of God.
Rise on your feet! Praise the Lord!
-Prayer: All you need to pray is Lord, “I receive Grace to walk continually by Divine guidance”! Church Gist. Go ahead and pray for yourself in the Name of Jesus!
