ANY LIFE VOID OF BATTLES MAY NEVER FULFILL DESTINY.
KEEP SPEAKING THE REALITY OF YOUR EXPECTATION UNTIL YOUR DESIRES ARE DELIVERED.
FAITH DRAWS THE ALMIGHTY HAND OF GOD TO WORK IN OUR FAVOUR.
IT IS FAITH THAT MOVES THE HAND OF GOD AND FAITH IS WHAT WE GENERATE BY OUR CONFIDENCE IN GOD.
TO FULFILL DESTINY, YOU MUST BE AN OVERCOMER AND YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER WHEN YOU FIGHT BATTLES.

Let us go ahead this morning and give God thanks, give Him praise for those awesome testimonies and answers to your own prayers. You are sure that God has heard you this morning, give God thanks. Make sure He is hearing your voice of thanksgiving, let us celebrate Him.
Father we are grateful, we magnify and give you glory. Thank you, thank you and thank you in Jesus’ Holy name we have given thanks.
Our Father, our eyes are on you this morning, visit us again. This womb of the morning, let the blessings of the day answer in our lives. Let your word keep us on the path of refreshing. Church Gist. Thank you Almighty God. Visit everyone here today like never before in Jesus’ Holy name we pray.
Put your blessed hands to God and for Jesus and please be seated.
Praise the Lord; I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR.

Since this week opened up in our covenant hour of prayer, we have been looking at – PRAYING ANSWER-EXPECTANT PRAYER.
Please know this as a way of reminder that, the prayer of faith is a requirement to secure the hand of God in our affairs. Church Gist.
Now note this that everyone of us who say we are children of God today, we became children of God by faith. So if anything must have room between us and God, faith must be involved.
The prayer of faith is required to secure the hand of God.
Now when God created the world, the Bible says; He spake with His mouth, Genesis 1:1-24. But when He came to making man the Bible says; He created man, He used His hand, God formed man. Church Gist. So when it comes to you talking to God, your faith must move the hand of God. Isaiah 53:1.
So when it comes to your affairs, the hand of God is what is needed and the prayer of faith is what brings the hand of God to bear. So when you need to have God answer in your life, please put faith with God else it will not happen because without faith it is impossible to please Him.
We use faith to draw the hand of God. Church Gist. Also know that every plan and purpose of God for our lives usually attract opposition from hell.
Why? Because the devil wants to know whether you actually believe God.
Note this morning that, any life void of battle from the pit of hell may never fulfill destiny. Church Gist.
1 John 5:4. To fulfill destiny, you must be an overcomer and you are an overcomer when you fight battles and it is faith that gives us the victory in battles. Amen.
So any life void of battles may never fulfill destiny. Hallelujah!
And so those battles must be crushed, 1 Corinthians 16:9. That is why God is only committed to deliver what we expect, His hand of delivery is on our faith.
God sees faith the way man also sees faith.
Our expectation simply means that, this is what I know will happen and God says; well I am ready to do it for you because you have confidence in me and I will bring it to pass. Church Gist.
Praise the Lord! Since Monday we have been looking at patriarchs of faith who believed God and they prayed and God answered.
On Monday we looked at David, yesterday we looked at Elijah.
Today, we are going to look at king Jehoshaphat.
2 Chronicles 20:2-3. Jehoshaphat got a letter, war was coming from three great nations, his friends’ response was to fear but however, he did not end there, he gathered all Judah together and they prayed and they fasted. Church Gist. What a privilege today, we are waiting on the Lord in a fast.
So whatever issue that is confronting you must bow today.
So they fasted and gathered together and they prayed and the Bible says; God stepped in.
Please one way that we will see the hand of God is by His voice.
A prophetic word came and told them what to do.
One way that God will step into our affairs is by the voice of God that comes to us either by ministration or by the voice of God from the word of God you are reading or from prayers. The voice of God will tell you; this is the way. Church Gist.
That is one way we see and secure the good hand of God and when that hand of God comes what happen? Victory is secured and so what happened after they prayed? God says; you do not need to fight in this battle. What a refreshing story!
Somebody is going to hear such a voice again today that would bring you complete victory over your oppositions.
You do not need to fight in this battle but what must you do? Set yourself believing that this God is more than enough to deliver to me my desires. Set yourself believing that no matter the challenges of earth, God can handle it for me. Church Gist. Set yourself believing that if God can deliver me from the hand of the devil which is the master of trouble, He will deliver me from the small-small troubles around.
Set yourself believing, let your faith, your expectation be intact.
So when you go to God in prayers believing, you would realize that you will return with smiles, you will return with confidence and that is what God will do for us again in the name of Jesus Christ.
Please know that whatsoever we ask for in prayer, it is only when we believe that we shall receive. Church Gist. Anything we ask for in prayer, we need our faith to make it happen.
Our belief is a function of our expectation, Matthew 21:22. There is no issue of life that prayer cannot handle but what brings it to pass is our belief, our expectation that as I am going to God in this prayer, will I see the hand of God at work? It is faith that moves the hand of God and faith is what we generate by our confidence in God. Church Gist.
Please know this my brethren; God has not failed anybody before so He is not ready to begin with you. All you need to do is to trust Him, think of what has happened in the past and believe God.
If you have heard any testimony concerning any issue that is confronting you, know that the God that did it for one is also able to do it for the other if that other will also believe and expect it.
You believe it but expect that this God will not fail you, expect that this God is willing to help you, expect that this God is able to do what you ask Him because all powers in heaven and on earth belong to God.
He is the Almighty God so there is nothing called ‘impossibility’ with Him. With faith, nothing is impossible and so how is it not impossible? Because faith draws the Almighty hand of God to work in our favour.
This very day, the Almighty hand of God will work in your favour in the name of Jesus Christ.
But one crucial thing we must do after we have believed and expected is that, we must keep speaking the reality of our expectations. Not for once but keep speaking it until our desires are delivered. Mark 11:23.
Our father in the faith, Bishop David Oyedepo has told us that what God hears, is what we see after we have prayed. What do you say after you have prayed? Maybe in the open, people have heard you pray but what is your mind saying? Keep speaking the reality. Begin to see what you have said come to pass, begin to act on the expectation, begin to see it happen. Church Gist.
What we are seeing are not just fables, we are seeing scriptures showing us examples of people who have done it before.
Now let us quickly crystalize on King David. We were told in 1 Samuel 17 that, David found himself in the battlefield when he took food to his brethren and saw that he heard the Philistines – Goliath, making boast and forty days, hefty men were in the battlefield and yet they were not fighting and so when David heard it, David began to speak to those people who were around.
1 Samuel 17:26. Are you seeing the reality of David’s expectation? He knows that this Philistines must not survive this battle but what would be done to the man that kills this man? He was told that the king will be his in-law. After he has spoken to his men, the next thing David did was that he went to talk to Saul the king in 1 Samuel 17:32. He said; I can deal with this man, God helped me to kill a lion, God helped me to kill a bird, this man will be like one of them.
Are there testimonies of what God has done? David was already speaking the expectation. He saw the reality that this man will die.
As you speak the expectation, your confidence is rising. So David’s confidence was rising.
The third thing that David did was that, he also spake to Goliath himself. David gave Goliath the privilege to hear what would happen to him after he died. He said; Goliath, this your big head, I will cut it off and this your big body will be opened to the birds in the air, your carcass. So are you ready? He pursued him. Church Gist.
He saw the victory, he saw the end of his expectation, he saw testimony and energy came by faith and he pursued it.
Today, as you keep speaking until your desires come, God will not disappoint you. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Church Gist. His power does not go down and so everyone that dwells on God’s power by faith will see that power manifested in his life. Roman 1:16.
As you believe God today, seeing the expectation and seeing the end, speaking it is the reality. As you speak it, your confidence rises and as your confidence rises, you are made to take an action. It is that action that God works with.
From today beginning, whatever God says to you that you do, you will see the result in the name of Jesus Christ.
Please rise with me this morning, lift up your voice to heaven, ask God for grace to keep speaking your expectation even when it does not seem like it.
I receive it this morning, the grace to keep speaking it.
That grace is available. Father we thank you.

I thought you are asking God for grace this morning, Lord the grace to keep speaking, following the pattern of victory in David, Lord I receive that grace to speak my way to my victory, to triumph, to my turn around, to my testimony, to slay my Goliath with my words. Lord I receive that grace.
Now begin to thank Him, give glory to His name.
Father we say thank you in Jesus’ precious name we have prayed.
Now you have asked for grace, the grace is available to you. By that grace, you will speak your way to victory, to turn around, to breakthroughs, in the name of Jesus Christ.
