Shall we all lift our two hands this morning and celebrate God because the chains are falling off you. Every chain of evil, every chain of wickedness, they are falling off everyone’s life today. Thank you, Jesus. In Jesus’ precious name we have given thanks.
What you don’t expect, you are not entitled to experience. What are you expecting in this service today? That prophetic song says I hear the chains falling. Any chain you hate to see in your life must fall off today. That Muslim convert got free from 10 years of masturbation. Every chain you hate to see in your life falls off you today. Somebody 23 years or so in drug addiction and drug business got free, himself and all of his household, went through WOFBI, first level, second and third level, serving God with gladness and joy today after 23 years of captivity. Church Gist. Every chain you hate to see in your life falls off you today. We cannot harbour the Ark of God in our house and then sickness is tormenting you. So every single person harbouring the Ark of God for our WSF in their home, every siege of torment and torture seizes in your life. Every evil habit that you know does not guarantee access to eternity is captivity.
Prayers: Jesus by your word set me free from this captivity today. Go ahead and pray everybody. Spiritual laxity, sleeping while praying, can’t stand to read the word, only spiritual on Sunday, Jesus set me free from all spiritual captivities today. Set me free from loose living. Come to my aid today Jesus. In Jesus’ precious name we have prayed.
Lord Jesus let your word come through to every one of us today in a unique way. Let it be like when the word of Joseph came and all his chains fell off. Let your world come through to each one of us today and let our slavery be converted to royalty. In Jesus’ precious name.
It is very important as we round up our series for our Sunday Services, UNDERSTANDING PATHWAYS TO SANCTIFICATION. Jesus never forces his way into anyone’s life. Revelation 3:20. If you don’t open, I can’t enter. The choice to open or not open to me is yours. I can not enter, He never forces His way into anyone’s life. There is no day Jesus will say “you must” No! It is if you choose to. Deuteronomy 30:19. I am not permitted to choose for you. If you want life this is what to do, if you don’t do it that means you want death even if you won’t say so. There is no way to teach consecration in one month, it is a lifelong adventure. The day you stop being is the day the hurdles arrive. If a man has been doing good all his life and he turns away to start doing evil, God will forget all the good that he has done. We are all familiar with that in Ezekiel 18. He will judge him according to the evil He finds him in. So it is a lifelong stuff, only those who seek it will find it. No wonder He said blessed are those that hunger and thirst after righteousness, they are the only ones qualified to be filled with it. Church Gist. While no one is perfect, we must be going unto perfection. No one is free from challenges but everybody is changing class in school. When what you get is more than what you miss you change classes. They say you are A but you only got 70. Out of 100 birds, you were only able to capture 70, you missed 30. If somebody else captured 30 they say you will repeat this class. Why? You are below what is required to move to the next class. The choice is every individual’s. My prayer is that we will keep choosing right. Remember God is not a respecter of persons. Some were with Jesus five years ago, they are with the devil fully now. They are far away from him by their allowance. They allowed it so they went. In the precious name of Jesus everyone under the sound of my voice today, by all biblical means, you will make heaven.
I want us to note the following things that the Holy Ghost was speaking to me: No one’s salvation can get another saved and no one’s repentance can secure forgiveness for another. No one’s obedience can add value to another and no one’s disobedience can erode value from another. Everyone will answer for himself or herself before God. Proverbs 9:12. Life in the kingdom is every individual’s personal adventure. Everyone must take responsibility or he ends up a liability. Ezekiel 18:20. Without consecration, a longing and a panting to please God, redemption will be an adventure in frustration. For it is consecration that makes Christianity honourable. 2 Timothy 2:19-21. Church Gist. So honourable Christianity has its root in consecration. Living with the fear of God in mind, not posing, not pompous. God does not need you for anything. Acts 18:22, Psalm 24:1, Haggai 2:8-9, Psalm 50:10. That God doesn’t need me for anything is the motivation behind my life. I am not pursuing Him for Him. So whether I go after Him or against Him, it doesn’t change anything He is the I am that I am. So all this bragging won’t take you anywhere. There is no commandment of scripture that is for God’s sake, every commandment of scripture is for our profiting. You consent, good luck. You turn your back, okay. Only your shepherd can tell you this. My prayer is that no one will despise this God anymore, no one will despise His instructions anymore.
Revelation and intellectual knowledge are as far apart as heaven is far above the earth. There are professors of the New Testament that are not born again, so where is the knowledge you have? His mission is to expose people to the realities of redemption but he is not saved. That’s the emptiness of intellectual knowledge. When the Holy Ghost transmits any truth to you, it empowers you to triumph. So it is not a one-month affair, it is a lifetime affair. The subject of consecration is a lifetime affair. “Pray for me, pray for me” won’t get you anywhere, you have to open your heart and do the needful to escape the horror of His judgement. In our consecration lies our decoration. See how Daniel was decorated in his land of captivity. Supernaturally decorated. He purposed in his heart not to defile himself. Daniel 1:8. In Daniel 6:4, they could not find anything amiss in his life. He was operating in consecration all his days. The King thought to put him over all the realms. Consecration! That is where our decoration lies. Church Gist. Running up and down everybody seeing you doesn’t add anything. There is nothing in it. There are big-time folks today on the pulpit who are just looking for the applause of men. “you don’t have to do anything, Jesus loves you anyhow” nothing can be farther from the truth. Solomon loved God, God loved Solomon and He decorated him. When he turned his back, God also turned His back. Stop listening to nonsense. Don’t go for the convenient, go for the commanded. In His commandment lies our advancement. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. In His commandment lies the believer’s advancement. You won’t change level without following His commandment. You can imagine somebody who stole, he is now giving from what he stole. Is that giving? It is reporting yourself directly to God. I stole this and I give you this part because it is not good for you not to share of it. No one is perfect, that is okay but why should you increase in your imperfection? Is that the way towards perfection? If you don’t believe it, that is your cup of tea. John 1:12. You leave Church in the morning and you are boxing your wife in the afternoon, where is your life? Where are you heading for? You are either the light of the world or you are a part of the darkness in the world. You make your choice. No one’s unbelief can make another man’s faith of no effect. I don’t believe it, that is your cup of tea. You never become what you don’t believe. The just shall live by his faith. Our faith is our breath, when breathing ceases, life ceases. No one’s faith will ever add value to another. When Jesus got to Nazareth, he couldn’t do mighty works there because of their unbelief. He marvelled at their unbelief. The faith of Jesus could not carry them. Talk less of my small faith. What you don’t believe, my prayer won’t deliver it. It is the faith of the recipient that makes the prayer of faith work. Every blessing proclaimed on me by the God-sent prophet over my life answers. Church Gist. So when will the one I am proclaiming on you answer? Your faith is what defines your portion. As the Church begins to disbelieve the practicality of sanctification, desecration just took over. All kinds of things. The things pastors do, even responsible natural men don’t do it. The way you can’t appear at an interview and get a job, people appear on the pulpit like that. You appear like that before a panel for an interview they chase you out. God has become so ordinary to many people. The values we experience are a function of our faith in the word of God not by chance. It will continue to be to every one according to his faith. Church Gist. We must continue to walk towards securing God’s commendation because therein lies our glorious future. Well done thou good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over these things, now have authority over ten cities, you have authority over 5 cities. His commendation will always engender a change of position. Let’s stop commending ourselves. 2 Corinthians 10:18. Beware of past tense dedication, past tense consecration, past tender sanctification holds no value with God. You better be current in your walk with God. Matthew 7:21-23. No past tense testimony holds value in the present except we continue in our quality walk with Jesus. The choice is the individual’s, may we continue to make the right choice in the journey of life in the name of Jesus.
I felt strong in my spirit to share these thoughts with you. In continuation of our teaching series, let’s look at some benefits of sanctification as it births passion in many more people to line up. Remember bodily exercise profits little but godliness is profitable to all things. Church Gist. Decorating life in the now and securing eternity in grand style. The only spiritual virtue that covers the two ends. Profitable to all things. Profitable unto the life which now is and the one which is to come.
Benefits of Sanctification
1. Sanctification secures supernatural rescue when under attack.
Life is a warfare, not a play fare. We walk every day upon serpents and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemy but the angels of the Lord are around them that fear Him to lead them (Psalm 34:7). Church Gist. No one here shall fall anymore into the trap of the wicked. Psalm 34:19. 1 Peter 3:13. Sanctification secures supernatural rescue when one is under attack.
2. Sanctification secures peace and safety
Isaiah 32:17-18, 59:8.
The way to peace and serenity is a genuine hunger and thirst after righteousness. Proverbs 28:1.
3. Sanctification engenders access to divine secrets that make stars.
Stars in the kingdom are made of access to divine secrets. Joseph said “but I fear God” and he got the secret to the famine in Egypt. Divine secrets are the heritage of them that truly fear God. Those who tremble at His word, God speaks and it moves them. “this is me God is talking to, I must do something about it”. Psalm 25:14. The secret of the king was revealed to Daniel in a night vision and that made a star out of a captive. Many stars will rise here. Obedience may be costly but the end result is priceless. Joseph would have lost that throne to friendship with Potiphar’s wife without knowing what he had lost. Every loss any one of us may have recorded in the time past, no more. The next commandment hits you will effect a change in your life. Daniel would have drunk his way of the king’s wine out of his destiny. He chose not to and God engraced him to stand. The King bowed down and worshipped him. That is the inestimable value of divine secrets. The good news is every devil trying to wrestle with your future has finally lost the battle in the name of Jesus. It is your turn for a dramatic change of story.
4. Sanctification secures supernatural supplies.
Psalm 33:18-19. Where there is no food on the market, He will be feeding them. It is one thing to have money in your hand and have nothing to buy. God is committed to making supplies available to them that fear Him in famine. Psalm 37:18-19. So people don’t know what they are losing when they are living the way they like. It takes a lot of time to put up a building, it doesn’t take time to burn it down. I have never seen any building for 24 hours, there is no building built in 24 hours even our church built with some angelic speed. You can’t build your house in 24 hours. It won’t take 24 hours to level a building, don’t let the enemy level your life. There was someone here, he was part of an armed robbery gang. They met him and he said Bishop should not know I am here. He was an active member of the church in Kaduna. Church Gist. Compassion swept me. I can’t see people just falling away. He was an active member in a revival burning time, yet an armed robber. I said they should take me there and they said no, they won’t take me there. You better secure your personal place with God, be very personal. Don’t be lost in the crowd. Stop being a busybody in other people’s matters. “see what that man is doing”. What are you doing? Face your business, my friend. Remove the log in your eyes before you are looking for the speck in another man’s eyes. No commentator wins a prize, he is just expressing his opinion for free. Have you ever found a star commentator? He won’t get any awards. He is a career sports council staff. Nothing! Face where you are going to. Face it squarely, face it genuinely and you get there. May these abundant blessings never be lost in anyone’s life.
5. It procures generational blessings
Psalm 112:1-3. Sanctification procures generation blessings and that is what you will have. Your walk with God will impact on the lives of your children, your children’s children and in your generations after you. Proverbs 20:7. They may be hailing those fraudsters today but they are destroying their generations after them. Cutting corners with government money, they are destroying their coming generations. Changing books as an accountant, you can’t run away from it. The just man walketh in integrity, his children are blessed for it. Church Gist. Ask for those children where they are? Many are drug addicts, gangsters, don’t destroy these innocent lives. Jesus said for your sake I sanctify myself – John 17:19. So for the sake of your children sanctify yourself. Have the reason to subscribe to these. For the sake of my generation and my children after me, I sanctify myself. You cannot mind sanctification and not make heaven. That son that was in drug business and addiction, his two sons were with him. They just follow your lifestyle. In the name of Jesus, everyone here shall be a worthy pacesetter for their children. I am sure you can see the reasons now why you must subscribe to this lifelong adventure of sanctification.
6. It secures eternity with Christ
Eternity with Christ is the ultimate of our faith, to miss heaven is to miss everything. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. There is no guesswork. He made a list of what He defines as unrighteousness. The world is now redefining it now with our eyes open. The world is redefining it with our eyes open. Very soon they will start teaching that the kingdom of heaven is here, there is no heaven anywhere. Watch out. Those who teach those things, they don’t believe there is heaven and you hardly see them mention it. If falsehood is not attacked it will keep triumphing. Church Gist. Heaven is real, Jesus said if it were not so I would have told you. Heaven is real and it is not a joint venture, it is not that you contributed with Jesus to the estate of heaven. You can’t do anything that will get you a place. Nobody has a share in it. You can only make your way through on His terms. Somebody offended me, you have offended many people in your life so what is your problem? If all the people you have offended ever show up you will die of shame. All this petty-petty nonsense, you better value heaven. Ephesians 5:5-8. What a verdict! The choice is yours, the choice is mine. We are all striving to keep pleasing Him. You stop striving, you are trapped. When we stop striving we are trapped. My prayer is that no one here will end up trapped. Your faith will stand the test of time in the name of Jesus.
Pathways to Sanctification
What must I do to live a sanctified life?
1. Engage in continuous self-purging.
2 Timothy 2:21. If he chooses to. 1 John 3:3. No adult requires another man to bath for Him when He is not sick. Church Gist. If you don’t want to smell on the street, have a bath. 1 John 3:3. Have a bath. Take a bath.
2. Engage the power of testimonies for your desired change of story
This man was this off, Jesus brought him back. Bring me back Lord, I am ready for you. He has rescued professional harlots, rescued armed robbers. One of my sons in Church here just came out of prison for a robbery case that he was involved in. He met us there in the outreach, surrendered his life to Christ and today, was rescued. Church Gist. Today, destiny is decorated. You have never jumped anybody’s fence before, your case is different. Many of you don’t even know what drugs mean and may you never know it. If this God can rescue someone from 23 years of affliction. He will rescue you. Psalm 119:114. Every testimony of the Lord is a pointer to our heritage. Psalm 119:111, Revelation 12:11.
3. Engage the Holy Spirit to mortify the deeds of the flesh.
Romans 8:13, Jude 20. Praying in the Holy Ghost. Not here, this is not worthy of kings. By doing so, you are setting on fire the chaff of the work of the flesh. It is important to recognise that without faith it is impossible to please God. So believe. Christ cannot be building mansions without people who are going to come there. So I must be among those who are going to be there. Believe that if Christ is building mansions, there are people coming there. There are people there right now. Believe in the reality and possibility of a sanctified life. Our carnal argument has brought us into carnality. Whenever we choose to repent, God is ready to forgive and to write off our past. God is ever available to forgive and when God forgives, He restores His favour. Don’t mind what others are doing, mind your stand with God. Stop seeking to rewrite the Bible, stop looking for different translations to find the one that is convenient for you. There are times people are reading the Bible and they just see one thing and they turn their page, no! Church Gist. That is not what I am looking for. Yet that is the key to rewriting their story. This is not a club, this is an army of the Lord. What will make a triumphant soldier is one that responds to the last command? You better wake up. I am striving for my light not to go off, I am striving for my name not to be removed from the book of life. It is a strive for every believer who desires to make it. I am talking to all of us this morning including myself by the Spirit of God. Last Sunday we dropped our desires, I dropped my own. I need help as much as you need help. Watch out, the end is closer than we ever thought. Paul said by the help of God I continue to this day, for every one of us the grace to continue till the end of time receive it now in the name of Jesus.
Costs of Ungodliness
1. It blocks access to God’s presence, which is the greatest asset to every believer.
Psalm 101:7. Psalm 15:1-5. No access to His presence without commitment to living a sanctified life. Church Gist. There are conditions that is why not everybody singing and dancing enjoys His presence. Sanctification is the foundation that secures His ever-abiding presence in our lives. Amos 3:3.
2. It blocks access to divine favour
Psalm 5:12.
We saw that favour in the life of Joseph, everywhere he went favour, in the prison, in Potiphar’s house, in Pharaoh’s palace, favour.
3. It stirs untimely death
In this burning crazy world. Jeremiah 17:10-11. Even believers are saying I must make it by all means. Make what? Make what? I had a case here that ended with divorce. This individual said, that is the man, I am done with this marriage, what have you bought for us since we got married but that lady has a lot in her hand. A Christian. Church Gist. Marriage hit the rock by what one woman has that her husband doesn’t have. I said to someone, are you no more a believer, he said I am no more a believer. I am not. Can I tell you something? that shows the foundations. What you got is destruction, revelation gives life. No one here will run with his eyes open into a trap.
Prayers: Ask God for grace if you think you need it. Ask Jesus to do a new thing in your life. Lord my heart is open, do a new thing in my life today. Let every chain of evil thoughts, evil acts lose their grip off me.

Any building without a foundation has no future. Secure a foundation for your faith. All those people that don’t gather at Shiloh, most of them don’t hear one talk. They don’t hear anything. His two phones are in front of him, yes we are in Shiloh. Where are you in Shiloh? Church Gist. In my house. Who are you cheating? Yourself. You better make your way there to return with the tables of the covenant. That will make your life a covenant press button adventure. This is what I want, this is what it takes to get it.
Lift those two hands everybody.

Let today mark yet another turning point in my life from henceforth. Church Gist. Give me a hunger and a thirst after righteousness. Burn off every chaff of iniquity off my life. Holy Spirit I am depending on you, purify me as gold. Make my body your sanctuary.
Holy Spirit you are God’s refiner’s fire. Sanctify and purify each one of us as gold. Let every chain of evil that has followed everyone to this service be broken off.
Good news, it is never late to be right.
– Everyone that chooses to turn today, I see your redemptive dignity restored.
– Everyone that chooses to repent today, I see your redemptive dignity fully restored.
– Watch out the impact of Shiloh shall be tremendous in your life.
– In the precious name of Jesus, every one of us will see His glory.
At next Sunday’s annual Pre-Shiloh Anointing Service, Jesus will complete our full preparation for the encounters He has for us.
