Celebrating 126th year of faithfulness of God of our fathers: Walter Gowan ( died in Garku near Zaria in 1894) Thomas Kent ( Died in Bida in 1894) and Rowland Bingham ( who carried on the work but died in the late 1940s). These fathers knew their God, loved Him, they were willing to die for the gospel and they died without taking hold of the reward this temporary world could offer them. I celebrate their sacrifices as I reflect on John 4:37, “You know the saying, ‘One person plants and someone else harvest.’ And it is true. I sent to harvest where you didn’t plant; others had already done the work, and you will gather the harvest.”
