Merry Christmas to every one of us and many happy returns. All that see this Christmas will see the next one in your testimony filled status. No one under the sound of my voice today shall be in the grave then. The grace that made you and I see this one will make us see the next one. Church Gist. No evil reports for your family. No emergency call for you, no emergency calls from you. It shall be good news all the way. The next twelve months will be the most memorable in your life. God will manifest Himself in every area of our lives in the name of Jesus. Again Merry Christmas to every one of us.
Lift your hands to heaven and thank God for the blessings that have kept you in the faith. Not all that began the year in the faith are ending the year in the faith. Church Gist. Some began in a church but they are ending up in a shrine but He kept you and me. Give Him thanks.
Jesus we are here again at your feet as we celebrate your birth, manifest yourself to every one of us. Let today be a service that shall be much remembered. Church Gist. Enlighten our eyes and let your name alone be glorified. Let the sick here be healed, let the oppressed be set free. Thank you, Lord in Jesus name.
We are looking at the subject captioned WHAT IS IN THE BIRTH OF CHRIST FOR MANKIND. How significant is the birth of Christ to mankind. Our text is Luke 2:10-14 which is part of what was read as the Christmas lesson this morning.
1. The birth of Christ is the birth of glad tidings to all people.
It is the birth of good news to the world. The world of uncertainties, the world of fear, the world of breakdowns, then came Jesus with good news. The birth of Christ is the birth of glad tidings to all people. Salvation came and is now available to all mankind as many as would believe. Good news! He wants all men saved and come to the knowledge of the truth so He sent Jesus to bring us salvation. Church Gist. Salvation means rescue from the torture and torment of the oppressor who is the devil. Hebrew 2:3. It is glad tiding to all people, there is room for everyone, every mortal man is covered by it and those who believe will gain automatic access. Those who believe I will in no wise cast out. No matter his past, I will in no wise cast out.
2. It is the birth of joy in the joyless world.
Many people think believers are faking the joy they exhibit. You don’t struggle to breathe out carbon dioxide, it comes out of you without effort when you are not sick. Today we have Christ in us and His birth is the birth of great joy so joy is part of our redemption that oozes forth in us. May this realization terminate every air of depression in us. Joy in a joyless world. What is in joy? Joy is one of the components of our redemption. Galatians 5:22-23. The fruit is like an apple, the seed is in it, the flesh is it, the back of it is in it. So when we are saved, our spirit is recreated and has the following components. Joy, peace, it is all in it. The fruit not the fruits. Church Gist. Love becomes a part and parcel of our lives, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, meekness, faith. They just ooze forth out of us. Long suffering does not mean suffering for long, it means patience. Suffering for long is a curse and Jesus came to redeem us from every curse of the law. So every form of suffering that has lingered in your life must end here today.
What is in joy? Health and vitality. Proverbs 17:22, 18:14. It wounds your system. Nehemiah 8:10. Joyful people don’t suffer breakdowns. The more joyful a believer is, the stronger he becomes spirit, soul and body. By today’s celebration, every form of spiritual breakdown ends in everyone’s life. What is in joy? Fruitful labour. Joel 1:12. Every joyless believer keeps labouring in vain. They keep labouring in vain. The returns on their labour perish because they don’t know what damage they are doing to themselves by giving room to sorrow of heart and depression. Church Gist. Joyful believers are ever fruitful believers. Hannah rose up and took bread and her countenance was no more sad so she became supernaturally fruitful. Psalm 67:7. We secure returns on our labour through a joyful lifestyle. I therefore pray that with today’s celebration joy unspeakable full of glory shall remain your portion. 1 Peter 1:8. If you believe that Christ is in you and all that He brought is in you which includes glad tidings, joy and peace.
3. It is the birth of peace in a troubled world.
That won’t let you know that anything is going on, as if those things are not real. Peace that passes all knowledge, indescribable but undeniable. It is in you. Jesus, the Prince of Peace was fast asleep in the midst of the storm. Peace indescribable, peace indefinable but peace undeniable. Mark 4:38. Peace like a river that becomes everyone’s portion today. Luke 2:13-14. Peace is restored at last, after the fall of man He was driven out of the garden of peace into a world of crisis. When Jesus came, He brought us back into that garden of peace. Church Gist. Therefore from today, every torment of life will stay clear of your territory. What is in peace? Peace is one of the components of our redemption. It is part of our recreated spirit as we saw in Galatians 5:22. So it is in us, all we need is to feed it and develop in our walk with God. Romans 14:17. When we are saved we step into those virtues, those virtues begin to manifest in our life as we allow them to.
What is in peace? Peace is the platform upon which God takes over our battles. The Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace. Exodus 14:14. God is saying I will only take over your battle when you are at peace with me, at peace with yourself, then you hand over your battle to me. Church Gist. You shall not need to fight in this battle, set yourself to praise me and as they did, He took over their battles. Between now and the next Christmas, your struggles of the past shall become history. Peace is the platform for provoking divine intervention. You will not need to struggle and suffer anymore. God will be fighting your battles. God will be fighting your battles in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. It is the birth of goodwill to all men.
God was angry with mankind after the fall. When He saw the travail of Christ, He was satisfied and restored goodwill back to mankind. So we have the good will of God in Christ. The lines have now fallen unto us in pleasant places, surely goodly heritage shall be your song from henceforth. God’s wrath has been turned away from us. God’s will has been restored back to us. According to His Word, “my counsel shall stand and I shall perform all my pleasure”. So you are God’s good will entity, every evil must clear the way for you from henceforth. God’s good will is now your portion. Here we are today, beneficiaries of good will. Church Gist. God’s wrath against mankind was averted by the coming of Christ. Galatians 3:13-14. The curse of life has been averted, Christ came to restore God’s goodwill back to man. We saw Christ came to remove the barrier of sin between man and God. We remember all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. 2 Peter 1:13. The days of shame were rolled away. He took our place in shame and reproach. Therefore no more shame and reproach. For you and your family, no more shame and reproach in the name of Jesus.
His name shall be called Jesus. He shall take away the sins of His people. He is out there in our favour. God’s presence has come to dwell with man one more time and has come to dwell with us forever. We shall call His name Emmanuel – God is with us. God returned back to man to bring man back to Him. That’s God’s goodwill. Isaiah 7:14. Matthew 1:23. Emmanuel means God with us. God went against us after the fall of man, God came back to us with the coming of Jesus. Now we have His presence that is ordained to make a difference in our lives. So we are now a peculiar people, a chosen generation. Church Gist. Everybody’s story is now open for a change and that includes your story. That includes my story. Luke 2:14. Good will towards men. My wrath against man is now averted, I have come back to fellowship with man again. I have brought man back to myself through the birth of my son Jesus. May this become a reality in our lives in the name of Jesus.
People don’t know what they are missing when they are not in Christ. You are missing out on good news. New birth is the platform for unending testimonies. Good news ever and that shall be your experience from today. It is the fountain of joy that keeps you joyful under all circumstances like the joy of Joseph. He was a joyful young man as a slave. Joyful. You saw how God began to expand him in that place until they handed over the whole house of Potiphar to him. Joy! God is only with the joyful, in His presence there must be only fullness of joy. Genesis 39:2. In the prison, the Lord was with Joseph, he was an ever joyful man. I curse the siege of sorrow of heart and depression in everyone’s life. If somebody went through the grave like Joseph did, they were going to kill him, he was hearing them debating on how to kill him and he escaped and got sold as a slave and was not depressed. Depression is an attack of the enemy. It is to make the individual miss out on God’s presence. He has failed in your life. Somebody once asked me “Brother David do you ever have problems?” I said maybe it came and I didn’t know. From now, the Lord alone shall be in your front. You won’t see problems again. Because as far as your eyes can see unto you, I will give it. Keep seeing solutions, keep seeing God’s word coming to pass and that shall be your experience in the name of Jesus Christ.
We all know that there is nowhere to buy good news. Church Gist. There is no market where you can buy joy. There is no store whether online or on ground where you can buy peace, one source only and one source ever – JESUS! He brought joy back to the joyless world. He brought peace back to a world of crisis. Jesus only, Jesus ever. All that you and I will ever need is found in Him. This day must mark the end of going up and down in your life. Matthew 11:28. John 14:27. He is the source of the peace that passes all knowledge and that order of peace is going home with you. One more time, there is nowhere you can get this to buy anywhere in the world. The chastisement of our peace was laid upon Him. He paid the price for us to live a most peaceful life and that shall be your portion from now. How many want God to start fighting their battles? The Lord will only start fighting your battles as you hold your peace. He keeps fighting every battle, He keeps winning everywhere. That shall be your experience. When we were living in the office building as our home, joy! Joy! Joy! My heart is full of joy. Church Gist. That is far better than living under the bridge. Peace like a river, there was no security or anything. If you want to come in, you knock on the gate. I will be the one to come and open it whether you are a robber or a flier. So your troubled soul is not because of your state, it is a result of your spiritual ignorance. The prince of peace now lives in you. It must mark the end of every form of fear and turbulence in your life.
The worth of anything is in the solution it provides and the real life value it adds. Jesus is the master solution provider, accept Him so. Church Gist. He said if you follow me, I will give you hundredfold of everything you have left to follow me. He adds unusual value to the lives of men and that will be your experience from now on.
Hebrews 6:12. Faith without patience will lead to a crash and He offers us patience as a virtue by redemption. Awesome God! In 1987 we were under a batcher in the city of Kaduna. 1988 we were under a batcher, see where He has brought us. It is patience that wins the race. Church Gist. Armed robbers are on the street today, why? They can’t wait. Drug pushers are on the street today, why? They can’t wait. Patience always wins the race. In the precious name of Jesus, the days of losing any agenda of God in your life is finally over. We are not faking it here, Jesus is real.

It is not enough to get started. Everybody needs grace for continuity. Please listen to me, God is moving His Church into next levels and as He moves you forward may you remain humble. As He moves you forward may you not become a victim of pride. As He moves you forward, may you not say in your life “Who is God”.
Lift your hands and ask God for grace for continuity. Paul said, “by the grace of God I continue until this day”. The same God that helped Paul to finish strong, that same grace comes upon every one of us afresh today. Uzziah followed God for 53 years until pride stepped in and he ended up a leper. I release that grace for continuity upon every one of us in the name of Jesus. King Asa was leading a revival for 20 years, and after 20 years he backed out. God smote him with a plague, he died before his time. Grace for sustainable steadfastness in our walk with God is released today. May all the blessings of the coming of Christ continue to find expression in our lives.
– You never lose your peace again. You never lose your joy again. God’s good will keep finding expression in our lives in the name of Jesus.
CHRISTMAS PROPHETIC BLESSINGS
– May this Christmas mark the beginning of a new realm of good will in your life, a new realm of peace and joy. A new realm of good news.
– Between now and the coming Christmas, it shall be good news always for you. For you and your family, it shall be good news always. Church Gist. For you, your children and your grandchildren, good news always. Concerning your health, business and career, good news always. Nothing shall break your joy. Nothing shall frustrate your peace.
– May every blessing that Christ came to offer begin to show forth in your life.
– He obtained for us power, your life will never be powerless again.
– He obtained for us riches, you will not be short of it.
– Wisdom, honour, glory, may everything that Christ offers be made manifest in your life.
Once again Merry Christmas and it shall be to you, the dawning of a new day.
As we were praising God, the Lord showed me something and I want to share that with you before we share the grace. The sorrow of them that hasten after another God shall be multiplied. You can’t manifest the joy of redemption going after another God. That is the undoing of many in our part of the world. The undoing of many is “it is my Grandma who gave me”. You keep anti-peace items, anti-joy items in your pocket, you can’t know peace and joy. Church Gist. The sorrow of them that hasten after another God shall be multiplied. The peace of them that follow after only God shall be multiplied. So make your choice. The more of God you know, the more joy and peace you enjoy. Therefore, every joy breaker, every peace frustrator I command them off your path in the name of Jesus.
Never step into 2023 with another god in your house or in your pocket. Never subject yourself to professional prophets who prophesy to collect money, it is their trade. Let God be enough for you. He is enough for me. Jesus of Nazareth is enough for me. Jesus is our all in all as a Commission. We have nothing we are doing behind the scenes. Let Jesus be your all in all. Stop patronizing the devil. James 1:8. Settle with me, God is saying and see how I will settle your life. Settle with me and I will settle your life. So when you get home today anything that represents another God trash them. You have the authority of scriptures and my authority as your prophet. Trash them, they can’t hurt you. Church Gist. Trash them before they trash you. If you get a child from the devil, he will be a demon. No one will give birth to a demon. That thing in your shop, that is why nobody is buying anything. You are not selling because you have kept the devil somewhere there who has come to steal, to kill and to destroy. He can’t help you. You can’t serve two masters, you have to choose one and despise the other. He just said to me tell them that the sorrow of them that hasten after another God shall be multiplied. Today God has terminated your sorrow. Don’t go and repurchase it, it is gone forever.
– Between now and the next Christmas, it shall be joy unspeakable in your life.
– It shall be peace that passes all understanding in your life.
