WELCOME ONBOARD COVENANT HIGHWAYS FLIGHT 2023.
YOU HAVE BEEN CRAWLING OVER TIME, A NUMBER HAS BEEN WALKING OVER TIME, SOME HAVE BEEN RUNNING BUT IT IS TIME FOR A FLIGHT.
MANY OF US HAVE BEEN ON THE BYWAYS AND STREET CORNERS OF LIFE FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND GOD IS ABOUT LAUNCHING US TO THE HIGHWAYS OF LIFE IN 2023
GOD WILL BE CHANGING OUR STORIES LIKE A DREAM OF THE NIGHT IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST
I HAVE NEVER PRAYED ‘OH GOD! PROSPER ME’. I HAVE JUST BEEN LINING UP WITH THE COVENANT OF PROSPERITY.
MAY THIS YEAR BE A YEAR OF YOUR MANIFESTED ZEAL FOR GOD AND FOR THE INTEREST OF HIS KINGDOM.
I HAVE SAID IT A FEW TIMES THAT NO MATTER HOW MANY OF THE BOOKS I HAVE WRITTEN YOU READ, YOU DON’T KNOW MY SECRET UNTIL YOU DISCOVER MY HEARTBEAT FOR GOD, THAT IS WHERE MY SECRET LIES.
HAVE LIVED WITH MY WIFE ALL THESE YEARS AND I HAVE NEVER COMPLAINED ABOUT ANYTHING TO HER.
I WAS ON #300 PER MONTH AS A MARRIED MAN, NO COMPLAIN. LIVING IN THE OFFICE BUILDING WITH ONLY ONE TOILET USED BY ALL CHURCH MEMBERS, NO COMPLAINS.

Hallelujah. One more time. Happy and glorious new year to every one of us. You shall be singing all through this new year. It shall be to you and your household, a year of laughter. Church Gist. No one under the sound of my voice today will be in the grave by this time next year. No one here shall bury any of their children. It shall be a year of signs and wonders for everyone in the precious name of Jesus. Thank you Heavenly Father.
The year 2023 is our year on COVENANT HIGHWAYS. Therefore welcome on board Covenant Highways flight 2023. You have been crawling over time, a number has been walking over time, some have been running but it is time for a flight. God will be changing our stories like a dream of the night in the name of Jesus Christ. One prayer you must pray this year is for grace to align with all of God’s instructions. Deuteronomy 28:1. We never prayed for foreign mission oh. We never prayed once, God said He will, that’s okay let’s keep doing what He says to do. Until one day “the harvest of Africa is now overripe, rush in and preserve it from decadence”. We didn’t have to struggle for it. Grace to keep aligning your life with heaven’s instructions as contained in His word is all you need. To obey is better than the sacrifice of knocking your head in prayer. Yes! There is a place to pray but all these “do for me” is not necessary. I have never prayed ‘oh God! prosper me’. I have just been lining up with the covenant of prosperity. I have not raised a prayer point in my life. Hebrews 6:12. Follow them, don’t look for shortcuts. In the precious name of Jesus, your days of struggling to see things happen are finally over. Church Gist. Do you want the wine of triumph restored to your life? Whatever He tells you to do, do it. He may say something that appears nonsensical but that is where the answer is. Fill the water pots with water. How? He never prayed on it. Take a little and go and give the Chairman. Oh, where did you get this sweet wine from? God will sweeten your life. Your mockery will be turned to double glory by simply committing yourself tirelessly to do what He says to do. I have never prayed once “Oh God make this family successful”. Simple instruction: husbands love your wife as Christ loved the church. When she submits? No! Whether she submits or not. By doing so the submission will be natural. Wives submit yourselves to your husband. I saw it and I said “ye! I am settled”.
Please pray for the grace to subscribe to every of God’s instructions as revealed in your word, I receive it. No negotiated obedience. Raw and total obedience is what makes it happen. Church Gist. You can’t be working in the light and be tormented by the powers of darkness. Grace to align with your instructions as contained in scriptures. I receive it tonight.
In Jesus precious name we have prayed. Receive tonight afresh, the release of the spirit of obedience. May our obedience as individuals become delightful obedience, enjoyable obedience. May whatever God says for you to do be ever comfortable with you. May the love of God that makes it so begin to burn afresh in your heart. When you are in love, there is nothing God tells you to do that grieves you, it always soothes you. Church Gist. Take fast hold of instruction, let her not go. Keep her for she is thy life – Proverbs 4:13. In keeping His instructions is life indeed. Receive that outpouring of the spirit of obedience today in the name of Jesus. Ezekiel 36:27. We need that external help. Lord help me to enjoy doing whatever you command at all times. That will make you enjoy a wonderful flight in the year 2023.

Let’s examine in this segment the DEMANDS OF GETTING ON THE COVENANT HIGHWAYS OF LIFE. Many of us have been on the byways and street corners of life for a very long time and God is about launching us to the highways of life in 2023. Deuteronomy 2:3. You have gone round that place long enough, come get on the highways of life. All we need to be on this highway of life is to mind covenant details relating to our adventure in life. What gives you your score in an exam answer sheet are the details that you succeed to get on it. Deuteronomy 28:1. Let’s start minding details. It is not just enough to be a giver in the school of prosperity, you must know what makes giving profitable. Church Gist. Mind details. Job 22:23-24. We must mind details regarding every covenant of scriptures. If you don’t give cheerfully it is wasted, you don’t give willingly it has no rewards. Let’s mind the details. If you don’t rejoice in the Lord, you have lost your harvest. Let’s mind details. The days of confess it and claim it are over. Let’s mind details, people have been confessing and confessing and now they are confused. You can’t confess prosperity without being in the covenant of prosperity, it is a waste of mouth. Let’s mind details. What does it take for me to get on the covenant highways of life? Let’s mind details.
God does not just define what He has in store for us, He also defined how to get there. Isaiah 48:17. I lead you the way to go and I teach you how to get there. People don’t want to know how, they just want to know where He is leading us. Yes! 2023 ON COVENANT HIGHWAYS! AMEN! Great, How do you get on that covenant highway? How do I get there? As we mind the details we commit God to keep confirming His word in our lives. Psalm 89:34. Jeremiah 33:20-22. God’s covenant with the redeemed is as standing as His covenant with the day and night. So they are there. Church Gist. But there is nothing new under the sun, we are called to follow the ways of those who have gone before us. Nothing new! Many have gotten on that highway and it is proven, we saw their testimonies in scriptures. What and what was responsible for their getting on that covenant highway. Jeremiah 6:16-17. There is nothing new under the sun, there is nowhere you are going that somebody has not been before and we have plenty of those examples in scriptures.
1. We need a rekindled love for God to get on this highway
Every true lover of God is ordained a high flier in the race of life. Trailblazers, pace-setters, high fliers in the race of life. 1 Corinthians 2:9. We must engage with obedience of faith as in Abraham and Moses. Whatever God says to Abraham is final. He does not negotiate instructions, he simply obeys them. Deuteronomy 28:1. That is fundamental to everyone that desires to get on the highways of life. Jumping at every instruction so as to sustain your place on this covenant highway of life. Genesis 12:1. He departed. Church Gist. Where are you going? God will show me. What a dummy. Moses get down to Egypt, you will bring out my people from bondage. How? I am a fugitive. Exodus 3:1-11. Moses headed back for Egypt and he became Moses the great as we knew it. Deuteronomy 34:10-12. Exodus 11:3. Abraham ended up by following His instructions as a symbol of generational blessings. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law that the blessings of Abraham might come to us who are Gentiles. So Abraham remains the symbol of generational according to God’s account.
2. We must have a renewed passion for God and the interest of His kingdom.
2 Kings 10:15-16. There is no one that is genuinely zealous for God and the interest of His kingdom that will not be felt by the people around them. They will know. He doesn’t need to announce it, they will just know that is where He belongs. May this year be a year of your manifested zeal for God and for the interest of His kingdom. You get on the highways of life and secure your place in it as you rekindle your passion for God and the interests of His kingdom. Psalm 102:13-15. When you are all out for God, you humble the kings of the earth by His hand on your life. Church Gist. 1 Kings 19:10,14. You can’t be passionate and the interests of His kingdom and not know. I have said it a few times that no matter how many of the tho things I have written you read, you don’t know my secret until you discover my heartbeat for God, that is where my secret lies. Be passionate about God, He will get you on the covenant Highways of life nothing can stop you there. It is your turn for continuous and unending change of level.
3. We must embrace meekness in our walk with God as we have with Moses and Paul.
Exodus 11:3, 12:3. Very meek and very great. Paul said I am not worthy to be called an Apostle yet we saw him stand next to Christ. After Jesus said in the New Testament, Paul said. Jesus said Paul said. He went on to say “I am less than the least of all saints” – Ephesians 3:8. 1 Corinthians 15:10. Paul the meek became Paul the great. Only the meek can get on that covenant highway. Only the meek can retain their place on that covenant Highway. Matthew 5:5. Psalm 25:9. Only the meek, ever open to corrections, to rebukes and instructions. Church Gist. Only the meek. There is so much arrogance not just on the streets but in the Church. “I don’t believe that”. Okay! It is your cup of tea. You can do nothing against the truth but for the truth. You believe good luck, you don’t believe good luck. Only the meek have a place on the covenant highways. I pray that each one of us will be clothed with the spirit of meekness to retain our place on this covenant highways. Not only for the year 2023 but all the days of your life.
4. Prompt response to every revelation of the word.
John 8:12, 12:35-36. Believe in the light. We saw this pool called the pool of Bethesda. Who soever first stepped into it whenever the pool is stirred shall be made whole of whatever disease. So it is important to be prompt. There is power in prompt response. It is important to be prompt in our response to every light of scriptures that we receive. As soon as God was done with Abraham, he departed. In Genesis 17, as soon as God finished speaking, Abraham stepped in and began to circumcise all the males born in his house. Genesis 22:1. He rose up early in the morning and there He encountered a sworn blessing. Prompt response to every revelation of the truth gets us on the covenant highways of life. Church Gist. I have seen that a number of times in my own little life. But thou shall not borrow. I entered into a covenant the same day. You don’t need to know any man to scale any height in life. Just know me. I rook it hook, line and sinker. Psalm 63:8. No matter what you say to me Jesus, it is okay for me. Prompt response. The Lord showed me the mystery of Church Growth in March ’84. We just put up Come and See the same week and we are still doing it till now. Prompt response gets us on the covenant highways of life. You strike when your iron is hot. When it is cold you can’t change the shape anymore. Galatians 1:16.
5. We must have a renewed steadfastness in stewardship.
As we have with Abraham, he was on with God for 100 years. God met him at 75 , he went home at 175. There was no break in Abraham’s relationship with God. He was God’s servant to the very end. Romans 6:16. Renewed vow for steadfastness in stewardship. Acts 26:22. Help from God, continuity in stewardship. 2 Timothy 4:7. We need a renewed vow for steadfastness in stewardship to get on that highway and remain there.
6. We must have a renewed lifestyle of joy and rejoicing.
I am putting these keys into your hand to help give shape to your life in this new year. We need a renewed lifestyle of Thanksgiving, praise and rejoicing to remain on this covenant highway. The days of murmuring and complaining must end in your life. They don’t add value to anybody, they only erode value from your life. Numbers 11:1. Nobody wants to be destroyed. May the days of murmuring and complaining be finally over in your life. My wife is here, we have lived together all these years. I have never one day said to her, “I don’t even understand what is happening” in my life? Never. Somebody once asked me “Brother David do you ever have any problem?” I said maybe it came and I didn’t know. People won’t see problems on your life anymore. It is not about pretending, it is all about being smarter than the issues of your life. I was on #300 per month as a married man, no complain. Living in the office building with only one toilet used by all church members, no complaining. What is your problem? I was using my beetle car to carry members from the church to the filling station where they will get a bus. Two people in front with me and the others behind me. No complain. Stop messing up God’s agenda in your life. Stop complicating your matters by complaining. Until Hannah’s countenance was no more sad, God didn’t visit her. You are precious in the sight of God, don’t let Him turn His back on you. Hebrews 12:2. The joy of the Lord is a proof that you believe in the reality of His agenda for your life. Wake up.
On this note, I welcome you one more time on this covenant highways flight 2023. That is where He is taking us and this is how to get there. In conclusion, without a heart for God, you are not a candidate for the covenant highways of life. Something has turned in your life and you will be established in it. With the fear of God as a lifestyle as we had it with Joseph and Daniel, you are already set on the highways of life. Hating what God hates and loving what God loves, you are already on the covenant highways of life. This year no one will mess up God’s agenda for His life.
Lift your two hands and ask God for grace to align with the demands of getting on the highways of life.
