Many don’t know that to be born again is to be initiated into power. Let me say this to every one of us. You don’t have a certain future, your future is uncertain if you don’t operate in power! The degree with which you operate in power determines how far you go in life. Church Gist. Because we live in the world of wickedness where without power you cannot subdue! He said, ‘Rule thou in the midst of your enemies’. He said, ‘Truly it shall come to pass that your enemies shall submit themselves unto you’!
We are not coming to the days of power, we are already in the days of power! Now, hear this and hear me well, there are certain things in your life that can never bow till you operate in power! We went to a state called Bayelsa ‘State’, it is in the Niger Delta area of Nigeria. And we went for a crusade, I’ll never forget! Church Gist. And about the time that we were about to sail, the weather changed!
In that area, they used to have a deity they call it ‘egbesu’- It’s a demonic deity that they worship, these people exalt this dirty thing to a point where you see even Christians talk about it and you now fold your hands and say, ‘Are you a child of God’? You see when people come out with egbesu like this, egbesu is a deity! Church Gist. It’s a demonic deity!
And then, we went into Bayelsa by privilege of being born biologically from this area, we understood that environment. And when we appeared, I first of all said ‘Listen! The ‘egbesu’ has no power! And the place was quiet because they have never heard that in their lives. I said, ‘egbesu has no power because the Spirit of Jesus is superior’. Church Gist. And everywhere was dead silent because the militants boast with that power and say, ‘We are working with the egbesu’!
It has no power! There is a greater power! They saw power on display! When we made the altar call, they didn’t need to delay! Church Gist. Hey! The whole stadium came out because they saw raw power that is superior to the one that they believed that had power!
Listen! No witch will expect to be in your compound if you don’t demonstrate power! If your Christianity is the type you say, ‘Sorry oo’! You will be full of sorrow! Say, ‘God forbid’! Church Gist. Today’s Christianity is not the one that you said, ‘Sorry oo’! You say, ‘Shut up! You wizard, who are you? Quiet! I’ll kill you’!
And abstain from sex this fasting season because I’ve heard people say, ‘My husband said that once we break since we eat food, we should eat this one too’! So, ah! I’ve heard it! As a Pastor, they say please talk to my husband that we are fasting! Church Gist. And they are not sinners oo, two of them are members of the Church oo! They said, ‘Since we eat food, this one too’! Please 1 Corinthians 7:5, let’s close! All the married people read this Scripture! That you break with food doesn’t mean you should break with everything!
Twenty one days no go kill you oo! Stay away from that area! Life is not about sex! Oya! Let’s read together! (1 Corinthians 7:5) You no wan read? Oya! Read well na! That you may give yourself to what? (Fasting and prayer). And after fasting, you come again! That satan tempts you not! Church Gist. This is not the time to sleep with your husband and wife! Are you hearing what I’m saying? From tomorrow, close that place till twenty one days!
Leave it! Go on leave! You will not die! You no go die! Married people, you will not die! Don’t say, ‘I think we dey chop after we break’! Leave that area! But most of you, you don’t understand the Bible, you turn the Bible upside down! And you say, ‘The Bible did not say that we cannot…’! You know people, when it comes to bad things they preach the Bible! They won’t read! They say, ‘Since we break with food, why we no go break for the other one? When we break finish, we continue the fasting! Na lie! It’s not so oo!
This period that you are fasting, there are things to abstain from! And one of them is sex! Don’t go! If you are a maniac, oya! do all today! After today, leave your husband and wife! In case your own (husband and wife), without sex they can’t sleep! There are some people, their life is all about sex! If you feel he’s a machine, finish today!
My friend, life is not about sex! Are you hearing me now? Be spiritually minded! Some of you, if he says okay, I no go fit, oya you go tire na! You no go tire? You go tire! And too much sex affects the mind! Every person who likes too much sex, they are dull! Check very well! Because the same place of intelligence is the same place of sex! So check anybody who likes too much sex, they are not intelligent! So calm down! No be food!
Okay! After today, go on break! For twenty one days! How many of you are married? Tell the married man, ‘Calm down oo’! After 12 midnight today! Say, ‘Road blocked’! No more! Just shut your mind! Forget that area of your life and face twenty one days! Is it too much? It’s not much na? Let’s be certain with this! Will you die? Rise to your feet!
