Speak to me tonight Jesus. Thank you Jesus.
One of the blessings in fasting is outbreak of revelation – outbreak of light. Fresh insight in the Word. Striking insight that changes people’s stories. May this be our experience as individuals all through this season! 2 Corinthians 3:18. Church Gist. I pray that each day will be a day of change of story. So, open up to be taught new things. What we knew till now is what determines where we find ourselves. If we get better insight, things will go higher for us. This is that year! Your year of Covenant Highways. You shall not miss your place.
KINGDOM ADVANCEMENT PRAYERS IS EVERY BELIEVER’S RESPONSIBILITY. Daniel was said to be praying 3 times as his prayer habit. When he knew that the document had been signed to put anyone to death who will pray to another God, he opened the windows of his house. Church Gist. Daniel 6:10. It’s not a show; it was his spiritual schedule to pray 3 times a day. Now the question is: “What was he praying?” As a public officer they have tried to check, what is this man saying when he prays? The King said, “O Daniel servant of the living God; is thy God whom thou servest continually able to deliver you?” Daniel 6:20. His prayer was serving God’s interest in that land. Daniel 6:20-23. He was on key with heaven’s agenda. He enjoyed supernatural defence, protection and preservation. He enjoyed unusual lifting in the land of his captivity. Church Gist. He was preferred above all other presidents because an excellent Spirit was in him and the King thought to put him over the whole realm. Daniel 6:3. He was the prime minister of that nation yet he was a prayer giant. He was serving God in prayers like Anna. Luke 2:37. So there is a prayer stewardship platform where men and women in the kingdom keep praying Kingdom Advancement oriented prayers.
Please note: if you check Matthew 6:6, “God who sees your labour in prayer in secret shall reward thee openly.” You don’t reward requests; you grant requests. You don’t reward petitions; you answer petitions. So what is rewarded? Labour is rewarded. It is our prayer stewardship labour that God sees in secret which he rewards openly. Church Gist. It is not prayer of request, it is not prayer of desire, it is our prayer stewardship labour. Colossians 4:12. We are talking about prayer labour; we are not talking about prayer request. Requests are not rewarded; requests are granted. It is labour that is rewarded. 1 Corinthians 3:8; John 4:35-36, 1 Corinthians 3:6.
So, prayer is the labour room of Church growth. Prayer is the labour room where we give birth to the children of the Kingdom. Church Gist. Isaiah 66:7-8. Matthew 6:9-10. He wants all men saved – that’s his will. 1 Timothy 2:4.
The capital proof of our love for Him is that we want what He wants and engage with it.
1 Timothy 2:4.
Now what are we to pray? We must continue to pray for souls to be saved across our harvest by asking among other things, Let the wind of conviction blow! The Holy Ghost is the wind of Heaven. Let the wind of repentance blow across the harvest field! Let the wind of the fear of God blow across our harvest field! Church Gist. Abraham said, I perceive that the fear of God is not in this place. Genesis 12:10-12. He knew the fear of God was not there. There are places where the fear of God is not reigning at all. We invoke the wind of the fear of God to blow across. You know why? You can’t secure the harvest without the Lord of the harvest at work. Church Gist. The Holy Ghost is the Lord of the harvest. We are in the golden age of the church and it is not possible by power or might but by the Spirit of God. So it’s very important for us to engage the Holy Ghost actively on the prayer altar. Church Gist. When He comes, He will convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgement. John 16:7-11. So He is the one that convicts the world of sin.It’s not the advance you make, it’s the Holy Ghost at work. He’s the one breathing through the advance to convict men : Your answer is waiting, your answer is waiting. Church Gist. Get in your way there. So let’s engage the rushing mighty wind of the Holy Ghost to keep rushing men and women to our churches all around the world.
Let’s engage the sound of the Holy Ghost, the compelling sound of the Holy Ghost to blow across our harvest field. Isaiah 5:26,27. Acts 2:6. The noise of His compelling whistle, the Holy Ghost gathering multitudes together. Church Gist. In one day they were 25 times multiplied. From 120 to 3000 added. By the wind and the sound of the Holy Ghost. You know Mary came to Jesus, I pray that you let my son be on your right, the other in your left and the others go to somewhere else. Jesus said, you don’t know what you’re asking. Church Gist. Many times you don’t know what you’re asking, you don’t know what you need.
Sir, without the Holy Ghost, the explosive church agenda ordained for the year is impossible. He’s the Mastermind of church growth. Get Him out of the equation, you’ll be sweating for nothing. Not by power, not by might. Let’s engage the Holy Ghost, actively all through this season and watch out for answers to your prayer as you do.
Holy Ghost blow across our harvest field with the wind of the fear of the Lord, the wind of conviction, the wind of repentance and drafting multitudes by your rushing mighty wind. Church Gist. Let your sound cut across our harvest fields and compelling the drafting of multitudes irresistibly I to our services, then you are saying something.
We cannot leave the Holy Ghost behind and expect the church to go forward. Jesus said I am going away, but He is staying here and His job is to convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgement.
We must put up a fight! Because the strong man is fully armed and won’t let go his captives without a fight. Like 11:21,22.
So a fight is involved, a fight must be engaged to release the captives of the strongman. Church Gist. That’s why we must pray. Take your hands of the men and women, boys and girls across our harvest field in the name of Jesus at which every name bows.
Right now in Jesus name, the yoke over their soul is declared broken. You’re praying, you’re saying something.
Isaiah 49:24-26. Lord fight against every messenger of Satan holding back the souls of men across our harvest field! Church Gist. You will say. No matter how terrible the mighty, you will rescue. Confirm your word. Then you are praying.
Doing what He commands us to do at all times will continue to change our story supernaturally. Luke 19:13. And from things to having authority over cities, people will experience frantic change of level! Church Gist. By doing what God says to do for the hour. Every living member of this church owes God minimum of 12 established souls in the year. You better believe it and pray into real manifestation. Engage the relevant forces of the spirit like the Holy Ghost to help you and watch what will happen.
You can’t be preoccupied with God and the interest of His Kingdom and not experience His favour in unspeakable terms. If you watch our prayer lines in this Church ever since we came, it’s all Kingdom focused. Church Gist. You have seen some projects going on and you’ve not heard us praying one day, “oh God, for all these building projects going on across the nation and around the world…” No. As we keep doing what He says, He’s adding those things, they are His commandments, so, we are not bothered and we’re not in lack. Luke 22:35. Psalms 34:10. Church Gist. Mathew 6:32-33. Let’s engage.
There’s no green pasture anywhere, your green pasture is in your strong position in the covenant of life. Stand there. No matter what happens in your environment, you will be exempted. Malachi 3:17. Church Gist. So, serving God pays anywhere under heaven. Serving God as a priority pays anywhere under Heaven. Your Church is a living proof, without games, without gimmicks, just breaking forth from every side. Not 1 year, not 2 years, not 10 years, not 12 years, not 15 years, not 20 or 30 years, doing the same thing and enjoying the additions of Heaven, every step of the journey. Please, think through and follow suit. Church Gist. You may not believe my testimony but you’re in this Church and you know where we stand, you know what we do. There’s no special Pastor prayer meeting under Heaven that falls on this, no, but on God and the interest of His Kindgom.
- somebody’s story is changing.
Now, watch, if you’re called to pray always, does it mean that we’re in need always? No. “Oh, Lord give me children”, you have Children, so what do you pray next? He said you should pray always. Luke 18:1. Church Gist. Now, “Praying without ceasing”. What? What will I be saying? Are you redeemed a needy? No. Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17. I’m not redeemed a needy, there must be what He says I should be praying about. Ephesians 6:18. Praying always is for servicing the interest of the Kingdom. Ephesians 6:19. That defines what ‘praying always’ means. Church Gist. It means, praying Kingdom advancement, Kingdom promoting, Kingdom-oriented prayers.
Now, watch another embarrassment here. 1 Timothy 2:1-3. (Who do we pray for?) First, for all men, second for leaders. 1 Timothy 2:4. So, what are we praying for them for? For them to be saved and to be drafted into Church my friend, where they can be taught the Word of God and be established in the faith. “First of all.” That’s what makes the prayer adventure a very exciting one. It’s not focused on self, it’s focused on God and the interest of His Kingdom, who takes care of all your needs, by so doing.
Why are all these about others and the Kingdom? Because, by so doing, it supernaturally addresses your issues. It supernaturally meets all your needs. We had an experience in my life, my wife said she had a miscarriage and I said, “no, it cannot happen. Church Gist. Can I have my food please?” We had a prayer meeting that night, praying the commission into next level expression, not one word was mentioned on it, it was suspended. Heavens came in and wiped off that verdict of doctors. “First of all, for all men”.
I’ve been on several prayer expeditions in my life, I cannot remember one that I went, “oh God, give me a house, all my friends already got a house. Give me a car, this car I’m using is not the best for somebody who is called by you”. “Did I call you with a car?” Somebody came to me during those early days, he said, “when do we want to acquire public address system?” I said, “when you can’t hear me again. I’m the one God sent, He didn’t send microphone. I’m the one He sent and I will be shouting the loudest I can, when you can’t hear me again, you go and look for microphone”. Never prayed one day, “oh God, musical equipments”, for what? Where’s the place to pray that prayer? Now, can I tell you the truth? I’ve never said one word of prayer to God on the Ark. I sat and say, “oh God, you know we don’t pray this in Church but let me pray it to you privately, remember the Ark”, no, no, God is too smart to be reminded of that. He commanded it. “Oh taste and see that the Lord is good”. Come and taste this other side of the Kingdom, that’s where the real life is. Thank you Jesus.
Mark 3:14. Luke 22:35. You can’t be on His mission and be in want. You can’t focus on His assignment and be stranded, it’s not possible.

Just stay there, bearing fruit, let Him take care of all issue about your life. Peter said, “we have left all and we have followed you to get on mission for you”. He said, “well, Peter listen to me, there’s no one who has left all that you have left who shall not have 100-fold of it, here in this time and in the world to come life everlasting”. – Matthew 19:27-29. This is the highway to the 100-fold company of believers, where things are answering in your favour on their accord without having to push them.

Satan cannot torment you when you’re going on His mission. On His mission, you’re protected, you’re defended, you’re dignified, you’re clothed with authority and majesty. That’s what keeps the prayer life alive – a genuine focus, a hearty focus on Kingdom advancement prayers. It keeps everybody’s prayer life, alive. “Do you have needs?” No, He meets my needs as I go after Him. As I occupy for Him, He takes care of issues concerning me.
Now, this may not apply to you, I don’t know how but I never prayed for our children’s exam in my life. “Oh God, they’re writing exams”, that’s what they went there for. After lectures, they should write exam.
