One of the foremost benefits of Prayer and Fasting is outbreak of light and his light is solution bearing light. It shatters the powers of darkness. Church Gist. It liberates the captives. John 8:32; Isaiah 5:13. Light comes, your inheritance us delivered. It is one great hidden power in the Kingdom – the power of light.
Lord, let your light break forth again into my heart tonight.
Lord Jesus, let your light break forth again tonight. Church Gist. Let no one leave this service without something tangible to hold on to. Thank you for it in Jesus’ name.
Praise God I am finally on the Covenant Highways of life.
KINGDOM ADVANCEMENT PRAYER IS EVERY BELIEVER’S RESPONSIBILITY – our vocations, occupations, trades, career not withstanding. It applies to Kings, the same way to peasants. It applies to national leaders, civil servants, industrialists, everybody. Church Gist. Every one who can pray, “Deliver us from evil,” should pray, “Thy Kingdom come.” Every one who can pray, “give us today our daily bread,” must first and foremost pray, “Thy Kingdom come.” So whatever applies to anyone in the Lord’s prayer makes it mandatory for him to engage with kingdom advancement endeavours on the altar of prayer.
Now watch: “Give us this day our daily bread,” so that means every day, you have some kingdom advancement project you are pushing. His ways are higher than our ways and his thoughts than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8. Luke 6:46 Why call me Lord Lord without doing what I tell you to do? Stop wasting your time. Church Gist. Every item on that prayer pattern is for daily engagement. Every day you are breathing prayers on one aspect of the kingdom or another including praying for others. Praying for Church services coming, praying for God’s agenda for the year to be delivered.
Everything that grows the Church for Christ is birthed on the altar of prayer. You don’t pray, your outreaches will be barren and futile. Church Gist. You don’t pray, you can’t gather them. I was having a live broadcast to our pastors today: there are 5 personalities behind Church growth in Scriptures.
- God the Father (John 6:44; 1 Corinthians 3:6). He is the multiplier (Jeremiah 30:19).
- God the Son, the master builder of the Church. Jesus Christ Himself (Matthew 16:18). So we engage him to shatter every force of hell out to resist the growth of his Church. No Church can grow behind Him – No!. Church Gist. The gates of hell won’t let it happen. He is the chartered builder of the Church. He is placed over all dominions, every name that is named not only in this world but also in that which is to come, for the Church to take advantage of.
- The Holy Ghost – the Lord of the harvest Himself: Luke 11:13. He responds to our demands on the altar of prayer. He is the convicter, the converter. Church Gist. He is the wind that blows multitudes into Church. He is the whistle of Heaven that rings a fire alarm that causes men to rush in. Fire alarm sound – you don’t ask what’s happening; you run.
- The reaper angels: we don’t pray to angels; we pray for God to send his angels. Matthew 26:53. One angel stepped in and liberated 240 of Cornelius’ family members and kinsmen in one sweep; he organized it. Church Gist. Acts 10:24. Angels can’t preach but they can mobilize for salvation. So assuming if a legion is a thousand angels and each of them bring 240, and they have 12 legions, you know how many will be in Church?
- The Pastor: he needs prayer of the saints to function so that he doesn’t become dysfunctional. He needs prayers to be delivered from evil men for not all men have faith. Church Gist. To access utterance that convicts and converts. To grow in the Word so the Eagles can continue to gather.
All the five personalities that are behind supernatural church growth demands our prayers. Church Gist. So nobody has any excuse to lay by, “O God give me butter, bread, tea.”
Nehemiah was in the comfort of the palace when he heard that there was crisis in Jerusalem. Some people came and said Hey, we are going through terrible times. Nehemiah 1:2-4. The king said, Why are you so sad? Why am I not sad? What are you talking about? Kill me if you want. Favour answered, the hand of God came upon him. Church Gist. He was a civil servant, he was in the palace, in the State House. Nehemiah 5:14.
Not all the governance that they are doing around here that you don’t need to have any value to be a governor. Just want to be a governor whether you are a robber, whether you stole yesterday, whether they arrested you.
Prayer! Prayer gave Nehemiah his place in destiny! Church Gist. Kingdom promotion with prayer, kingdom advancement with prayer gave Nehemiah his place in destiny!
Many shall locate their place in destiny! Just get self out of the way, you’ll find your destiny open up!
Now, what are we to pray? Among other things we are looking at tonight, we must continue to pray to grow in our love for God. Church Gist. That is the baseline for a most fruitful venture in stewardship.
Let’s keep praying to grow in our love for God. Please note this, that love is an ever growing virtue. Ephesians 3:17-19. The outcome passes all knowledge. There is no research place under heaven that can uncover or fathom the magnitude of the impact of one with a growing love for God. You can’t stop it! It’s an ever growing virtue!
It’s not singing, I love you more than anyone/I love you. It’s not.
Paul is as alive as if resurrected by Christ. What gave him his eternal destiny? The love of God. The undying love for God. Romans 8:35-39. That’s just some little thing about how much someone’s love for God is worth. Church Gist. Genuine love for God is worth unimaginable values.
One cannot be in love with God and not know. 1 Corinthians 2:11
Your spirit man knows whether you are in love or not in love. Can even gauge your love level! It’s not a thing of I love God you may not know. Who knows? Nobody else may know but you know.
Now let me tell you some acid tests of this love. You’re in love, Paul said that all things work together for them. Church Gist. Not you don’t know my circumstances are different. No, they’re not different. God will go anywhere to deal with any issue that is trying to affect your life. He that touches you, my darling, touches the apple of my eye. You will see my strength.
Just touch a man’s wife. You will think he’s a weakling, all his muscles will come alive, that’s the meaning of love. God musters all His strength against your enemy when you are truly in love. Church Gist.That’s what makes it possible for Romans 8:28 to be established. He will see my red eye. I will unleash my strength against him. I will show him my night, let him try it! That those fellows should just call my name and you have migraine straight. They are not aware that you are calling their name, Migraine on the spot! Everything is turning upside down! Everything! By provoking the God that they love.
John 21:15-17. You can’t love God and not know, let’s stop pretending. Songs of Solomon 8:6-7. When you are in love, circumstances don’t matter to you sir. Yeah, I’m all these things I’m more than a conqueror! Or does this man not know what he is saying? They can’t touch you!
You know they say in the world: Love is blind. In this kingdom, Love is death! Death!
Somebody asked me many years ago, Bro David, do you ever have problems? I said, Maybe it came I didn’t know. Love is death! It was after that I started looking at many challenges I’d seen in my life. It was after that. I didn’t know I had problems, I had challenges that made champions. Challenges are to bring out the champion in you. Not break you down. It’s to bring out the champion in you. Church Gist. That they are talking against me in town, is that a problem? No. It’s an opinion. They have a right for public opinion, so to now sit down and say Look at what they are doing, no. They should be doing what they are doing, you be doing what you are supposed to. He’s doing his own thing. Everybody has a race set before him. Are there no preachers who are praying that other ministries should collapse as their own ministry? Oh God bring them down, this is too much. Is that a ministry? It’s a ministry of the devil. Face your job my friend!
Love is death! True love for Jesus is death to self and alive to God.
Somebody’s story is changing!
So let’s keep praying to keep growing in our love for God and then we have His Favour growing in our direction.
We have Him taking over the things that concern us. Church Gist. One interesting thing about love is, it makes a believer become God’s confidant. “Can I do this thing and not confide in my friend Abraham? I have to. Abraham, come oh, I’m planning to deal with Sodom and Gomorrah”. He (Abraham) said, “God wait. If you find 50, will you deal with them?” They’re in communication. Who is Abraham? “My friend, Abraham” – Isaiah 41:8. James 2:23. Church Gist. So, every true lover emerges God’s confidant with access to Divine secrets that make stars.
Acts 2:29. We saw another lover here, they’re not preachers, they’re just lovers. Acts 2:30-31. Church Gist. When you’re in love (with God), you see things afar off. “You can’t buy your way to my secrets”, it’s our being in love that will entitle you to it. “You can’t pray from now till Heaven comes down, you can’t access my secrets without being in love to get that”, it’s not possible. Acts 2:30a. That’s one of the grand benefits of being in love; in growing dimension, you gain unusual access into the heart and the mind of God.
Some fellows were talking chaff in those days when I was talking to them that the government we are voting into power is going to torment your life. Church Gist. Being in Church doesn’t make you a prophet. God tells me things, details about this nation and I know something is happening right now but when it’s time, I’ll talk to you. Those that said, “what do you mean?” the other time, they’re breathing hard now, some are dead. Just be in love, that’s all. Church Gist. You’ll become dead to what they’re saying, you’re just open only to what God is saying. Did you see pepper or not in the last 8 years? You know pepper is in grades, different levels of pepper. Nigerians, short memory, very short memory.
Somebody came to me during the primaries or something and said, he just wanted to ask for my prayer. I said, “good. Call me later Please, I can’t talk to you people now”. They said, “we have brought an offering”. I said, “no no, they don’t use offering to hear from God”. He called me, I said, “don’t try it, it will be futile”, (he said), “ah, but I have so much promises”. (I said), “don’t try it, goodnight”, maybe he’s hearing me now. Church Gist. These folks don’t talk anyhow, they’re the mouthpiece of God, they’re very delicate. They jealously guard what they say. If He didn’t tell me to speak anything to you, I would not speak to you but when He tells me, you can turn your head upside down, it doesn’t matter. If you can’t learn from the past up till now, I don’t know what you want to learn. Church Gist. They made all balloon promises, nothing came to pass, not one. You wrote them down, newspaper wrote them down, you can’t see anything there. They’re saying, “come again, come again, fools come”.
Sir, if you will love Him the way I love Him, we shall be seeing the same order of the acts of God, that’s what I’m saying. it’s in your hand, the ball is in your court. Church Gist. There’s no human hand on any aspect of my life that makes it to be, not one human hand. Sir, there’s no one to turn to and thank, “thank you for being there”. Church Gist. I have Prophets over my life that have shown me the ways of God and have helped me to walk with God but that somebody gave me something to make me become something, no one. He said, “you don’t need to know no man to scale the utmost height, just know Me” – I heard Him say that to me October 4, 1981. “You don’t need to know anybody, just know me” but you can’t know God more than you love Him. Church Gist. He reveals only the deep things of Heaven to them that love Him and you can know whether you love Him or not. That’s why it’s happening to them upside down in the nation, it’s happening to us in the upward aisle in the Kingdom. Nothing has stopped with all the wickedness of their wickedness. Church Gist. We delivered nearly 1,000 new Churches last year. When you grow in love enough, you’re filled with all the fullness of God. Ajare Ajanaku ni o, Ogiri gbigbe ni kose kolu o
(He’s a great elephant, He’s a dry solid wall, no one can collide with him). You’re filled with the fullness of God. The things happening around you don’t impact on you in any form. Church Gist. He’s the realm of dominion, and that’s where you’re going. Praise the Lord!
As the Lord lives, the devil will not have his way again in Nigeria for the sake of the destiny of innocent people. Church Gist. Security down to zero, you’re traveling, you’re looking at the back, everyday, on the street, in the town, in the villages, what? Well, the subject is being in love and keep growing in your love and then you grow in dominion and then, you find God as your defence, day and night.
The Lord said to Abimelech, “Abraham is a Prophet o” Genesis 20:7. Don’t tamper with Prophets. Church Gist. So, you find a lot of heavy business people, industrialists, solution bearers who are Prophets, God’s own Prophets, God’s own confidants by reason of their heart for God.
As I close, access to Divine secrets always makes stars. Divine secret made a star of a prisoner and turned him into a prime minister overnight. Genesis 41:38-40. Church Gist. A prisoner overnight was in royal apparel, overnight, not prisoner’s uniform, overnight in royal apparel by access to Divine secrets.
-watch, this year, there shall be a reign of Divine secrets to all genuine lovers of God.
Not to all Winners, all genuine lovers. You know most times, we just pray some funny prayers, they’re so religious, they don’t have any meaning. Church Gist. “Oh Lord, open the windows of Heaven to everybody in this Church”, it won’t open, you can’t tell Him what to do, He told you what to do from His word. “Bring ye all the tithes, prove me now if I will not open to you the windows of Heaven”, you’re not paying tithe, you’re saying, “open”, it won’t open, you’re just wasting your mouth. “Reward everybody this year”, He won’t reward nobody exceot the labourer, “everyone shall be rewarded according to his own labour”. Church Gist. A sit-down believer who is just commenting on everything, “see the way the choir is singing, see the way the ushers are doing; that usher, I don’t like him, they should put another usher here”, is that how to get rewarded? No. He’s an unserious soul, he sees the Church as a club, is that the one to be rewarded? “Oh Lord, let there be peace in this house”, there won’t be peace there forever until you choose to love your wife as Christ loves the Church. If they pour a gallon of oil that Papa blessed on your head and you hate your wife, you can’t have peace. “In fact, Papa pray for me on the phone”, if he prays for you live, it won’t matter. “He laid his hands on me three times, yet this woman will not hear”, you’re not in love, how will the woman hear? “Papa has prayed for me three times on this during fasting”. Amen. I made a mistake praying for you, it was a bad mistake I made. (Laughs). Church Gist. The Scripture cannot be broken. You’re walking in pride, “oh Lord, let your grace come upon this man”, He says, “no, not on this man, this man is too big headed, he’s too proud for Me. I resist the proud, I don’t engage the proud”. “God, hear me”, He says, “hear you for what? Get out of my sight”. Church Gist. You, yourself, you know that God is not hearing you, you’re just crying, when God hears, you should know.
Divine secrets made a prime minister out of a captive boy by name, Daniel. Daniel 2:19a. – Many of us will have some major secret of life revealed to us concerning our business, career, ministry. Church Gist. Major secrets. But the love of God is our access to it.
How deep we are in our love for Him determines how great our access will be to His secret. Church Gist. Job loved God more than life. “Even though He kills, I will yet trust in Him”- John 13:15. His wife said, “are you still holding on to God, holding to your integrity? Cause God and die”. He said, “look at you speaking like one of those foolish women, disappear to wherever you want to go to. He’s my God forever, I know that my redeemer is coming. I may look like nothing but my redeemer is coming back, I’m with Him forever, in life and in death” and God restored Job and he had as twice as he had before. He’s a restorer. Church Gist. As long as your love is intact, leave the mockers alone, God will decorate your life. So, keep your love alive, keep it growing and what how much access you begin to gain to Divine secrets which will bring out the beauty, the colour and the aroma of your life.
Conclusion, which shall be your experience from now, that we know, that all things work together for good
- from this fasting season on, as the God of Heaven lives, all things, no matter what they may appear like now shall begin to work together for your good! Your children, your family, your occupation, your trade, your farm, your grandchildren, all things, your health, your destiny. Church Gist. All things shall begin to work together for your good.
That is a Biblical authentic proof of love. Amen!
What eyes have not seen, never seen a prisoner emerge without identity. ‘What’s your village?’ He doesn’t know. He’s not from that country, even eligible to vote. How do you become a prime minister when you’re not even eligible to vote? God can do anything. Church Gist. Daniel climbed the throne of Babylon without being an eligible voter, nobody needed to vote him, they didn’t wait for election, they made him that. What eyes have not seen, what ears have not heard, they’re the usual acts of God in the lives of His lovers.
- as the Lord lives, beginning from this season on, I decree that you will be listed among such men and women, commanding things that eyes have never seen nor ears heard, neither has it entered the heart of any man, as your new lifestyle.
- give the Lord a big hand of praise.
Now, question of conscience, you can’t be in love and not know. 1 Corinthians 2:11. 2 Corinthians 13:5. Let’s stop pretending. “Do you love me?” Heaven is asking. Answer between you and Him, don’t answer to me or to anybody around you. Church Gist. “Do you really love me? Are you sure you love me? Or you just pursue me for what you want?” God knows whether you’re looking for bread or you’re looking for Him but “they that seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing”. “Let your heart be panting after God as the deer pants after the streams of water”. Church Gist. Psalm 63:8. I heard God say to me, “the harder you follow me, the higher you fly”. 1977.

God is love not that God loves, God is love. It’s His nature. Jesus said whosoever has seen Me has seen My father. Jesus is love. That’s His nature. The life of the flesh is in the blood. So there is love in the Blood of Jesus. The love nature is embedded in the Blood of Jesus.
As we partake of it tonight, I decree the grace for ever growing love for God to come upon our lives in the name of Jesus!
The grace to keep craving for more and more of the love of God in our lives, I decree it to come afresh upon us in the name of Jesus.
The love of God is manifested upon us in this way:That we keep His commandments. A delightsome response to His instructions is a proof of our genuine love for Him. 1 John 5:3. John 14:21. The core proof of our love for God is delightsome response to His commandments. Church Gist. You can’t be spiting His word and claim you love Him.
“Oh, we are on a 4-level dimension of church growth.” They have started.
“You owe God 12 outstanding souls this year.”
For What? Am I a pastor?
You are not in love. If you are in love those things suit you. Everything God says suits you naturally. It suits you completely . You don’t have a Plan B. He says it and it suits you
From tonight, after this communion coupled with the word you have heard, every commandment of Scripture you encounter in your private studies, every word of life that comes to you through teachings and anointed books that are scripturally based, grace to take delight in following suit, receive it now in the name of Jesus!
There was nothing God told His friend Abraham that was difficult for him. Get thee out of thy country, as if he has no property. And so Abraham departed.
Circumcise all the first born in your house and as soon as God left speaking with him, he began. (Is it that he had no work?)It’s love driving him, the love of God. Okay, take your only son Isaac, that you love. The one you love because Ishmael was already causing problem in the house so if anyone should be sacrificed, he should be the one. Take Isaac the one whom you love. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, no consultation. (It shows that it has entered into the blood)
You can’t be His friend when you are flouting His commandments. He jumped, he jumped, he jumped, he jumped!
Grace to respond with delight, utmost delight to every commandment of Scriptures which always creates a great future, receive it right now!
We receive this table set tonight across board as the Flesh and the Blood of Jesus to possess us afresh with the love of God, to renew our love of God to the next level. Let your commandments be a delight of our soul. Let it be Lord!
There are many standing here today if Jesus tarries for a 1,000 years, you will never be forgotten!
Your lineage will be praying in the God that you serve!
Your love for God will transcend generations! So shall it be in Jesus name.
