We serve an awesome God. He knows the end from the beginning. His plan for us as contained in His Word, when we choose to walk in it, He keeps manifesting Himself. It is a great year, there is what to do to enter into the fullness of the greatness of the year. There is no single provision in the kingdom without something for those who care for it to do. As free as salvation is if you are too big to repent you never get saved. We are in the covenant highway of life this year, all we need to do is get to know what the provisions are, what our responsibilities are. Church Gist. If you claim to be interested then embrace the responsibilities. Otherwise don’t expect anything out of it. Psalm 89:34. My covenant will I not break. No matter how you look, no matter your explanation. In the name of Jesus, no one will shy away from these covenant responsibilities this year and you will see God in action this year.
Lift your two hands and ask God for grace towards the realization of God’s agenda for each one of us today. Awesome year. Isaac order of year, you don’t wait for it. You invest in the land if you want to reap anything that will bring about your enviable destiny. Church Gist. Lord engrace me to take covenant responsibilities like never before this year so I can experience my full package as ordained for me this year in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, thank you, speak to us this evening. Open up the month by your word of power, help us to see what you are showing us in the name of Jesus Christ.
Just a run for a few minutes on the meaning of the prophetic focus.
We are admonished to know the love of God that passes all human and intellectual knowledge. Accessible only by the help of the Spirit of God. What is it? What does it carry? How can I take a stand in it? There is a level of power that we pray into, there is a level of power that we access by revelation. Ephesians 1:17-19. You access that realm by revelation not by intercession. There is an opening of your eyes and my eyes to see the exceeding greatness of His power available to us who are redeemed. We are empowered to see it, we are enabled access by revelation to get to that realm. We are getting there this month. The emphasis this month is EVERYTHING WORKS ONLY TO THE LEVEL OF OUR LOVE FOR GOD IN THE KINGDOM. Church Gist. Everything in the kingdom works by faith (Habakkuk 2:4) but everything that works by faith works by love because faith works by love. So everything that works by faith, works by love. 1 Corinthians 13:1. You find all those major things that we engage with in the kingdom. Talking about the anointing and the gifting of the Holy Spirit. Every engagement in the kingdom delivers value only on the platform of our love for God. For instance, it is faith that guarantees answers to our prayers but then faith works by love. Our prayers are answered to the level of our love for God.
1 Corinthians 13:3. So the Word works by love. What we know does not add any value beyond our love for God. Giving works by love. Solomon loved the Lord and then he gave and God lavished him with abundance. 1 Kings 3:3. 1 Chronicles 29:3. So his givings were love motivated and his abundance was unspeakable. In addition, everything that makes life meaningful and fulfilling in the kingdom delivers on the platform of our love for God. What is the Great Commandment? To love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul and all your might. Church Gist. So we have everything that works in the kingdom delivers on the platform of love for God. May the love for God of each one this month be rekindled. May that become each one’s new way of life. God doesn’t need it, we do. Everything that love offers, God does not need. We do. You can’t engage with the great commandment and end up in the valley. Embracing the great commandment makes your journey great. Your journey shall be great.
Watch! It may not make meaning to the unsaved. A dead man doesn’t know how to love. It doesn’t make meaning to him. The preaching of the gospel is foolishness to them that perish. To us who believe it is the power of God. They may not believe it but eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, it hasn’t entered the heart of any man what God has reserved for them that love Him. Church Gist. You may start as their mockery but you end up as their envy. They may be casting aspersions on you but you leave them behind, you are far in front. That is the way it works.
One more time the theme for the month is LOVE FOR GOD MAKES A LIVING WONDER. Anchor Scripture is 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. Church Gist. The revelation of the love of God is one of the deep things of God. Inner mysteries, hidden mysteries. It flies without seeking permission from anyone.
We are in the last days. The last days among others are the days of rising giants in the kingdom. Psalm 87:1-7. That is God’s end-time agenda, it doesn’t matter the constitution of any nation. It is an overriding constitution. Will anybody vote for the Church in Nigeria to be blossoming the way it is? East, West, North and South in spite of the devil. No! God’s agenda doesn’t require human permission. When God was set to bring them out of Egypt, all the gods of Egypt couldn’t stop it. If you take your position appropriately, all the gods of your village, your wife’s village, your forefathers, and all the shrines that they worshipped can’t stop it. Psalm 110:1-3. Church Gist. We have a ruling and reigning end-time church in the midst of her enemies. Psalm 23:5. Running over cup in the midst of their enemies. They are biting their fingers and you are just triumphing without sweat. Industry, Agriculture, Science, Technology, Politics etc. Ruling in the midst of thou enemies. You are a captive in a country and you are now President of the country, what kind of God is that?
There are four captives of the Hebrew children that are here, one of them said they want to interpret. Just bring a cutlass and cut their necks. I mean you are a prisoner in a nation where you are a slave and you are now addressing the nation, the following day. He is a humourous God. Church Gist. You better take your position in this thing, otherwise, you just be one of the fans. Fans don’t have any value. No matter how many games you attend, you can never win a prize. We are going to begin to see wonders this end time. May you be part of the wonders.
All heroes listed in scripture were heroes of faith. Faith works by love. By faith Abraham… by faith Gideon… by faith Moses…. They were all heroes of faith but behind the efficacy of their faith is their heart for God. I can’t offer myself to a fiery furnace without a burning love for God. The fire in your soul is hotter than the fiery furnace so you could dare it. Love is strong as death, many waters cannot quench love neither can the seas drown it (Songs of Solomon 8:7). Church Gist. So those men were love drunk so their faith delivered at its peak. They were love drunk people which fires their faith for things that eyes have not seen nor ears heard. Abraham said I believe God is able to bring him back from the dead. Even after cutting his neck, He can gum it. Faith driven by love gets anywhere.
Let me tell you where the gianthood of the end time church is coming, you dwell in love, you dwell in God and God in you. Which door can be shut against God? When you are inside God, God is inside you. You are not the one that matters. Church Gist. It is God that cocoons you and determines the events of your life. That is the level of open doors you will start commanding.
When you grow in love, the length, the breath, the depth of it, you are filled with all the fullness of God. When you are filled with the fullness of God, all the characteristics of God are now manifesting through you. He is the only wise God so you are just exhuming wisdom. Through the greatness of His power, His enemies submit themselves to Him. So you are full of the power of God, you move it is God moving and all the devils that clear for God clear for you. Church Gist. That is the realm you are going into. Settle down properly this month and take in this love injection and let it become your new way of life. You won’t be crying for all these things you are crying for. Whatever God will not beg to happen, you won’t have to beg for it. Psalm. Brand new day for everyone.
PROVEN LOVE FOR GOD ENGENDERS SUPERNATURAL BREAKTHROUGHS that is our teaching series for our midweek services this month. Proven not fake. Proven love for God. Love God above all else including yourself. Proven love for God engenders supernatural breakthroughs. There are many lovers of things in Church. Many seek their own but very few seek the things that be of Christ, that is what Paul said. Church Gist. He said I speak this to your shame because you have no love for God in your heart. Loving God as a priority, not an addendum. Proven love engenders supernatural breakthroughs and that is the realm you are entering into.
Our genuine love for God as a priority which is the first and great commandment and the effect makes the individual great. You can’t go for the first and the great and be last. Matthew 22:36-40. First and second love. It is the outflow of the first that covers the next. Every promise, every covenant of scriptures delivers on this platform. The love of God with all your heart – you have only one l, all your soul, you have only one – with all your mind – you have only one. This is the first and great commandment and every other provision of the kingdom contained in scriptures operates and delivers on this platform. You don’t know God until you know His love. You don’t know God until you know the worth of your love for Him. A discovery of the power and the glory that is in your love for Him. I know ye have need of all these things but seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things people are dying for will be added unto you. Matthew 6:33. Church Gist. Many have stepped into that realm in this Church and it is showing. Until it starts to show you are not there. God is no respecter of persons. Ask questions. What is wrong with my engagement? That is if you are engaging. If you are not engaging don’t ask God what is wrong, ask God for grace to engage. The days of bread and butter Christianity are gone. Chocolate Christianity, pray for me, see for me, prophesy to me, they are gone. If you are still there you are far behind. It is time to take responsibility.
When we are committed to growing in love we get to a point that we are filled with all the fullness of God which empowers believers to command dominion. His dominion is from generation to generation, so when you are filled with all His fullness you naturally command dominion, you are not begging issues, you are on top of issues. In the morning, on top. In the night on top, as you sleep on top, As you wake up on top, as you drive on top, you fly in the air, on top. With man, this may be impossible but not with God, with God all things are possible. Mark 10:27. Jeremiah 32:27. Nothing is too hard for God. When you are filled with all the fullness of God, you are empowered to command dominion. Church Gist. You are on top of issues not under circumstances. That is where God is taking us. The platform to get there is hereby established. Genuine love for God. Unfeigned love, unpretentious love, unashamed love for God. We saw Abraham, a friend of God and love is the cord of friendship. Isaiah 41:8. This His friend, we saw Him become a nation from a standpoint of no identity. He had an army of 300 men in those days that the population of the world was so little compared to now. That could take on the army of a whole nation and conquer them. Church Gist. He was a friend of God. May each one emerge a friend of God in this season. When you are a friend of the president of a nation, you enjoy part of his immunity. He calls the President and the President answers “I am just in the office of the G.M. of Lever Brothers. Sir can he just have a word with you?”. He will be shaking. You didn’t win any election, you are just a friend of God. The things they fear in God, they begin to fear in you. A friend of God! Don’t toy with him. He can move the host of an army to your house to level it down. May each one emerge a friend of God in this prophetic season.
David, a man with a heart for God emerged a national hero as a teenager so it is not about age. It is about where your heart is. Who is this uncircumcised Philistine to be speaking roughly against the most high God? Never! Let me die the death of the righteous. He took his life in his hands and headed on for Goliath. He brought him down and they began to sing “David has killed 10,000 while Saul the huge man has killed 1000”. He just took over the land as a teenager with a burning heart for God. A burning heart for God. Church Gist. That is where God wants to take you and I. We are going to see wonder youths among us. Your children will start performing at a frequency that will start wondering what is going on with them by offering their hearts to God.
When Solomon’s love was burning hot, he was said to be wiser than all men. Why? The only wise God was dwelling in him. His love for God was burning at a high temperature so God gave it to him the fullness of His wisdom. 1 Kings 4:31. We haven’t seen anything yet. Thank God for intellectual knowledge, thank God for human knowledge but thank God much more for the wisdom of God from above. Pharaoh said can we find such a man in our entire kingdom? Genesis 41:39. God will be showing people things by virtue of how much they offer their hearts to Him. He will be showing them things that will baffle the intellectual world. How could you imagine that a lab attendant will end up being the Man of Science of the 20th Century? How? No first degree, no half degree, no one-quarter degree. A heart for God, genuine love for God that brings the fullness of God into you makes you a wonder in every field. Church Gist. A living wonder by the manifest presence of this great God on your inside. No matter what level we have attained, when He comes in He moves us up. My ways are higher than your ways. You have got some ways but I have got higher ways for you. He moves you up. You have been in a discipline and you are making some marks there, He just changes you into another thing. What is happening? How did you get there? Light! Wisdom!
The wisdom of the gods was in Daniel. Let Daniel be called oh, he has the answer to every question. Here is a writing that has no interpretation. We don’t even know the language that writes like that. He said give me time. He said King you are in trouble. He is the only one that can read it. How can you read a letter that does not exist? John 7:15. Church Gist. Jesus was the wisdom and the power of God. He said whosoever has seen me, has seen my Father. He was operating in that realm that is not accessible on the earth. Somebody’s story is changing. We are going to see strange performances in our children. They will baffle us who gave birth to them.
To be filled with all of the fullness of God means to be filled with the awesome power of God, the awesome wisdom of God, to be filled with the unlimited breakthroughs of God. Unstoppable, God was in their midst, the sea saw them it fled. What! Tremble thou at the presence of God. When you carry His presence everything that troubles others tremble before you. Church Gist. My prayer is that each one will be engraced to see the wonders of being in love with God and sign up for same and choose to operate there and choose to stand in it and begin to watch the wonders of God in their life in the name of Jesus Christ.
The genuineness of our love for God is a vital key to operate in the realm of supernatural breakthroughs. The kind your church is experiencing now. We are all out of it, we are just watching God. Supernatural! Nobody is sweating. You set out on a journey and you are too sure you are coming back. All the devils are gnashing their teeth and you are just making your progress. That is where you are going. That somebody is stopping you will never happen again. That somebody is harassing you will never happen again. You won’t sleep again and be running around in the night. You should rest in the night. Church Gist. Whatever can’t threaten God, can’t threaten you. You can’t be filled with God and be threatened by the devil. You know the king bowed down and worshipped Daniel. He was too full of God. They said they were going to kill anyone and throw him into the den of lions yet he opened his window. Daniel 6:10. No struggle. What is the den of lions? I will rather die with my God than live without Him. The lions said, “Welcome Sir. Can we prepare something for you?”. Triumphing gloriously in the midst of danger. People are sitting down and everything about them is Me! Me! Me! Forever. Oh God me car, me bread, me land, me shoe, me butter. Something must turn and it is turning already and it is turning in your favour.
Let me tell you how to know whether you are in love with God. When the things of God don’t move you, you are completely out of touch. If not for this problem, I know what I will be doing. Church Gist. You won’t do anything. You won’t. Until you review your stand with God, your solutions are not in view. Review your stand and move forward in life. No one shall be left behind.
Finally, Love is a choice not a gift. John 21:15-17. Love is a choice it is not a gift. You can now seek for grace to maintain your stand with your choice. The prayer won’t make a choice for you, the fasting won’t make a choice for you. Church Gist. The prophecies from the altar won’t make a choice for you, you make a deliberate choice by yourself and then you are on. It is a choice to make.
Where does prayer come in? In the empowerment, the engracement to stand in the choice. Simeon Peter said I love you. All men may forsake you but I won’t forsake you. It was not power enough to stand the test of time but when the power came. You can’t silence Simeon Peter. You came out of the prison do you go to the Temple? They went to the Temple so they can be arrested. They got there and they said “these fellows you better treat them gently they can explode”. They loved God by choice and it was empowered. So all we need is make a choice and seek for empowerment, engracement to stand in the choice. I love Jesus so bad, all the devils in hell know. Satan himself knows. He is hearing what I am saying. Nobody told me I love Him. I know I love Him to any level. You can’t love God and not know. Let’s stop pretending. “Only God knows who loves Him” you should know. Your spirit knows what is in you so don’t say only God knows. Let’s come real, let’s stop being religious. The year will surprise you. This is one of those platforms for springing surprises you are not under pressure. Church Gist. You will know that all things work together for the good of them that serve God. Romans 8:28. That is the anchor scripture of our teaching series. They are serving His purpose to prove that they love Him. Do you love me? Go after my lambs. That is how to prove that you love me. It is not a thing to sing about. You love Him, prove it. 2 Corinthians 8:8. It is not about wearing a T-Shirt that says ‘I LOVE YOU’. What is the meaning of that? Nobody gets in love with God and regrets it. Things that eyes have not seen are there in store.
