In the last election, there were shootings and killings but Jesus came in and said enough is enough. It was like war in some states, real battle but Jesus in answer to our prayers said peace be still. May the same peace be everyone’s portion all through the days of your life. We have enjoyed the same peace of God in this Commission for over four decades unperturbed, unresisted, ever flourishing and you are on board this boat, my prayer today is that each one enters into their rest. May your faith come alive today to enter into your rest. Church Gist. How many have begun to see surprises in this election? We have one overriding vote on this earth, that overriding vote is God’s. No one elected Joseph, God’s one vote put him on the throne. No one elected Daniel, God’s one vote enthroned him. We have begun to see it now. No one in his right mind wants a reign of terror, no one in his right mind wants a reign of covetous gluttonous people. We need healing, God is bringing us healing.
Lord Jesus, we are here again in your presence. Show us your word. You are the one that shows light, show us light and let your name be glorified in Jesus precious name.
UNVEILING THE WONDERS OF GENUINE LOVE FOR GOD.
Some are dying for position, dying for possession but the love of God in a man is worth much more than anything any other source can provide. We know that all things work together for good to them that love God and are aligned with His purpose. All things. If your loyalty is not first to God you are a losing believer. Thou shall love the Lord your God with all heart, all your might and all your soul. This is the first and greatest commandment. Everyone that embraces that walks into automatic greatness. You can’t comply with the great commandment and die a nonentity. 1 Corinthians 2:9. Church Gist. Loyalty to anything before God makes you a foolish believer. ‘I am loyal to a party’ party of what? If you are loyal to a party and not to God? Where are you heading to? He packaged me by grace to be on His side perpetually in season and out of season and He is helping my life daily. Don’t try a lover of God, you will die.
Some puppet prophets are talking chaff because they have been given some money. They are money-bound prophets. They are like Simon, selling “the gift of God” for money. I have never dropped a word from the Lord that didn’t come true to the glory of His name. Church Gist. Don’t miss the opportunity of this teaching, it is to reposition your life for beauty and glory. If they burn some people’s church to ashes, for purpose of a position they won’t say a word.
Everything that works in the Kingdom requires the love platform for delivery. It is to everyone in the Kingdom according to his faith. Your faith determines your lot. Faith works by love, or let me put it this way, faith works to the level of one’s love for God. That is why we believe the same thing but we don’t get the same result. Faith works only to the level of one’s love for God in the Kingdom. Church Gist. That is why we quote the same scripture but we don’t experience the same things. There is no game in the Kingdom, it is an open book. Galatians 5:6. It works according to the love of individuals for God. It will not deliver beyond the level of our love for God. So you better reposition. It is your turn for a change of story.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 helps to summarize this to a very good extent. That is the covenant platform that determines the worth of a believer’s life. I have faith that can remove mountains but no mountain is removed because the love platform is out of place. It is a good summary. The quality of every believer’s life is built on the quality of his or her love for God. Church Gist. The Bible says the integrity of the righteous shall be preserved. Do you know why the devil could not hit us throughout this wicked reign? We have been working in integrity with His Word. I didn’t stop shouting that this is an evil government. Everybody saw it. The way you look doesn’t change it, is it not showing today? You better wake up. There is no substitute for one’s genuine love for God in defining anyone’s destiny in the kingdom. Every covenant of scripture, every promise of scripture delivers on the platform of love for God. The great commandment: you love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your might, all your soul and with all your mind. Matthew 22:37-40. All the promises, all the covenants of God operate on that platform.
Love is a choice, every believer has the capacity to make that choice. Because at redemption, love is one of the fruit of the spirit. Fruit not fruits, it is one. Love is one of the components of the regenerated spirit. Church Gist. So it is inside us if we choose to live by it. If you are not in love, you are running at a loss. No one shall run at a loss here. Go therefore and demonstrate your love for God.
There are two clear biblical proofs of our love for God. John 14:21. Delightsome obedience is a vital proof of our love for God not quoting scriptures like parrot. Delightsome obedience, delightsome alignment to the truth. 1 John 5:3. It is not saying His commandments, keep His commandments. Church Gist. Those three Hebrew boys said we will never bow to your graven image. Love is as strong as death, many waters cannot quench love. The floods can’t drown it. They prevailed over the fiery furnace, there was no smell of fire in them. Genuine love empowers believers to dwell in God and God in them.
The capital proof of our love for God is our love and passion to see souls saved. John 21:15-17. Going after souls is capital proof of our love for God. We can demonstrate that on the altar of prayer, praying the devil’s hand off the lives of people so as to release them into the kingdom. Church Gist. We go out compelling people to come to Christ in Church, in case you can’t preach to them out there and they come to meet with Christ, as the world goes forth, they turn their life over to Christ. Go witnessing Christ without shame. David the lover said, “I will also speak of thy testimony before kings and I will not be ashamed”. Romans 1:16.
So God’s love is not theoretical. It is practical. 1 John 3:15-18. God’s love comes along with practical proofs. When things of God don’t move you, you are not in it. When you are not on God’s side concerning any issue for any reason, you are not in it. How many of you will have children and watch them being tormented and be excited? Church Gist. You must be a witch or a wizard. You engage all the resources available to you to rescue them. To be laughing with killers makes you a killer. It is because they are poor, Ah Ah! Is poverty equal to murder? Grace to get on God’s side and remain there, receive it this morning.
This will help you if I share it with you: This ministry has no human hand behind it. No human hand is behind this ministry and yet we are where we are. God can take you to anywhere. Church Gist. Just get on His side and remain there. Don’t fake it, get there. Don’t be a social member of a church, be a bona fide child of God who has vowed to remain on God’s side. Then He proves that you are in love.
Let’s look at four wonders of love in this last teaching in the series.
1. Genuine love for God enhances or facilitates answers to our prayers.
1 Samuel 13:14. We saw David that every time he prayed, God answered. He sought forgiveness from a grievous sin and God forgave him. Psalm 66:18-19. God forgave him because he repented. Psalm 51 we saw his repentance. A heart for God. The Amalekites came and carted away their wives, sons and properties. David inquired of the Lord “shall I go up?” and the Lord answered on the spot. Church Gist. 1 Samuel 30:6-9. Being in love facilitates answers to prayers. David went in verses 17 and 18 and recovered all. Genuine love for God facilitates answers to prayers.
2 Samuel 5:18-19. From this time onward, your prayers will be answered like fire. 2 Samuel 5:22-25. On the spot answers is the portion of genuine lovers of God.
During the time my wife was under the siege of the spirit of death, my son reminded me someday that I said to them “relax! I know when I pray God hears”. I know, not that they told me. I know that when I pray God hears. Please get to that point. Get to that point in your walk with God. Why do we pray for some people and it doesn’t work? Because they are not there to receive it. Jesus prayed over them in Nazareth, but it didn’t work. He marvelled at their unbelief. Mark 6:6. Church Gist. So it is not the anointing of a prophet but the faith in you to receive it. Though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and have no love, it doesn’t work. Please let your faith remain in place. Every word proclaimed here is to add value to your life. May each one’s life continue to grow in value.
2. Genuine love for God puts believers in command of the supernatural.
We serve a wonder-working God, He showed up in Genesis as a wonder-working God. Whatever He said, He saw. Genesis 1:31. God saw everything He said and said they were very good. God does not need a laboratory to deliver a product. Whatever He says He creates. When we come to knowledge of the length, breadth, the height of the love of God, we are filled with all the fullness of God. Church Gist. Emitting the very nature of God as a lifestyle. The deeper our love for God, the more wondrous and marvellous and wonderful our life becomes. David said “I am as a wonder to many”. You become a wonder to many when the love of God is bubbling in your soul above everything else including yourself.
I am not serving God for what He does. I am serving God for who He is. He is the darling of my soul. That my soul knows very well. My soul knows that very well, no guesswork. So every genuine lover of God is a walking miracle. They said concerning Paul: “the gods have come down to us in the likeness of men”. Acts 14:11. Acts 19:15. Satan said concerning Paul: “Jesus I know, Paul I know, who are you?”. Who was Paul? Romans 8:35-39. He was a die-hard lover of God and he was a walking miracle. Church Gist. They stoned him and dragged him out of town for dead, they gathered around him to wonder how they were going to bury him. He rose up and said let’s go to the next place. He was lost in the sea overnight, came out and went to the next mission. This end time we are going to see many wonders in the Body of Christ. We shall be men and women to be wondered at. Don’t fake your love for God, it never works. 1 John 3:18.
3. Genuine love for God stirs the hearts of believers to crave for the house of God.
You don’t run after a lover of God to be in fellowship. He delights in it, he is excited about it, he craves for it. That is where giants in the kingdom are raised. Psalm 84:1-7. Every true lover sees God’s tabernacle as amiable. Psalm 122:1-2. So it gladdens your soul to be in fellowship. The farther a believer is from fellowship, the more vulnerable he becomes to the forces of defilement around us. Church Gist. Hebrews 3:13. You get to fellowship to be washed, you are serviced so you don’t get hardened. Psalm 110:1-3. Zion is the Church of Christ. So giants will emerge not on the street junketing about, mixing everything together. You manifest His power, glory and honour by encounters with Him in Zion. Somebody’s story is changing.
Obadiah 21. Hebrews 12:22-24. The Church is Zion in prophecy. That’s Zion. Out of Zion, the glory of the Church shines forth. We have heard this story I have shared before of a man by name Michael Faraday, a giant of a scientist. His biographers wrote that anytime he was in town for any event, the first question is “where is the church in this town?”. From a lab attendant, he became the envy of his professor. He ended up being named the man of science of the 20th century. He was a church addict. He was a preacher. Church Gist. So it is not about how busy you are, it is about where your heart is. “Well it is time for fellowship. I may not be interested today. I seem to have a lot to do”. Before you start trading evil, you better run to the service station. Let God service every dying part of your life and get you back on your feet.
Church is not a social club, it is a platform for spiritual renewal, spiritual strengthening. You are not doing anybody a favour by being in Church but yourself. Psalm 84:7. They go from strength to strength, everyone (not every group) that appears before the Lord in Zion. Psalm 87:1-5. Church Gist. End-time giants will emerge from among Church addicts. Don’t let the devil misinterpret that to you. You are not a churchy man, you are not part of it. The Almighty Himself shall establish this. Somebody’s story is changing.
4. Genuine love for God unleashes the blessing of God on believers.
“Abraham, my friend” that is how God introduced him. Isaiah 41:8. Isaiah 51:1-3. People will be living practically in a replay of garden of Eden by virtue of His blessings. Just become His friend. Don’t fake it, He will be showing you all things. John 15:15. Access to the secrets of God is what makes stars in the kingdom. When you become a friend of God, you have unrestricted access to the secrets of God that make stars on the earth. Get in love with God. Church Gist. Let your love for God grow into friendship after the order of Abraham and see how God will begin to decorate your life. A man having 318 security men well trained who could take on another nation and conquer them. God has a plan for you. His blessings strive on our friendship with Him like Abraham. John 8:39. It is your turn for a change of story.
– Your days of struggles are over.
For we know that all things work together for good to them that love God. You heard the testimony of that young lady. After her NYSC, was captured by Fulani herdsmen and the mother was praying Kingdom Advancement prayer and God stepped in. Church Gist. They put the gun on her head and said “No! Don’t do it”. They set her free and gave her money for her transportation. It is your turn to experience the goodness of God in a new way.
In this last segment of our Covenant Days of Exemption, please take note of the following and stretch out your faith to connect. We saw how God exempted the Israelites, the Church in the wilderness from the plagues that came on Egypt. Swarm of flies which connotes decadence and stent (Exodus 8:20-24), Death of cattle which implies the collapse of businesses and careers (Exodus 9:1-7), Hail and Tempest mingled with fire which connotes devastation and destruction as Nigeria has witnessed in the past eight years (Exodus 9:25-27), gross darkness which connotes lack of direction, frustration, despair and stagnation, (Exodus 10:21-23). Church Gist. They were there sitting in one place and could not move because it was a darkness that could be felt. No one saw the face of another. God exempted His people. In the camp of Israel, there was light.
– You never lose direction in your life.
– No matter the devastation going on in the world, it will be minus you.
Then we saw the plague of sudden death. They were exempted by the blood. Not one Israelite was visited by the destroyer (Exodus 12:29-31). In the name of Jesus, destruction shall not come near your dwelling.
But today we have a better covenant based on better promises. Galatians 4:28. I, therefore, believe that God’s exemption heritage we have in Christ shall be made manifest continually. Church Gist. No one will go off it. We shall all remain under that covering, both you and your household in the name of Jesus Christ.
So the good news is nothing will decay in your hand. Whatsoever you do shall prosper. The good news is no business here will die. They had the death of cattle but not one cattle died that belongs to Israel. Church Gist. No matter how near death or how dead your business may appear, it will bounce back to life because you are ordained to be exempted from the horrors of the hour. Your career is bouncing back.
Then we have hail and tempest mingled with fire which connotes devastation and destruction. Psalm 91:7.
– Nothing will suffer devastation and destruction in your life.
– In this dark hour of the world, something unusual will start happening in everyone’s life.
For when I see the blood, I will pass over.
– By the power of the blood, the destroyer will not come into your houses.
God said, “I will not allow the destroyer to come into your houses”. Church Gist. If God said He will not, who will dare it? No destroyer will come into your houses.
How do I experience this?
1. Believe in your exemption right in redemption.
Psalm 91:1-7 defines our covering in redemption. Hebrews 10:38. Keep your faith alive in your exemption right. Church Gist. Whatever is born of God overcomes the world and he overcomes by faith. Keep your exemption right alive in your heart with faith and evil will not come near your dwelling again.
2. Keep the love of God alive in your heart.
Romans 8:28. All things will start working for your good from henceforth in the precious name of Jesus including your exemptions.
3. Remain dedicated to kingdom advancement endeavours.
He sent them to go and they went. They came back excited. Even devils were subject to us. Church Gist. He said I gave you power. When you are on the go for Christ, He empowers you to tread upon serpents and scorpions and all the powers of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Stay committed to kingdom advancement endeavours.
4. Speak boldly of your exemption rights at all times.
Speak boldly. God will not confirm what you can not speak body. Speak body and God will confirm it openly. Keep speaking boldly. Luke 21:15. What you won’t say you are not permitted to see. Keep saying it boldly and God will keep confirming it openly. It is your turn for a change of story. The word says “Life and death are in the power of the tongue”. Church Gist. ‘Nobody is safe in this country, nothing is working in this country’. That is why things are going down for many believers and they are yet to discover. Ecclesiastes 5:6. Speak right and speak boldly and watch how God will keep confirming it openly.
For everyone that believes the Word of God, today marks the end of all assaults in your life. If He preserved the Church of the wilderness, how much more the blood-bought church of Christ. If He gave us His son for free, how much more will He give us all things that are there with Him. Romans 8:32. Church Gist. Exemption is one of those things and exemption is one of those things and it is freely yours today as you choose to believe the Word of the Lord.
– There shall be no evil tidings in your family anymore.
– The plague of sudden death is over in your household.
– Nothing decays in your life anymore.
– No business or career breakdowns anymore.
– No more lack of direction, no more confusion, no more stagnation.
These are our covenant rights in redemption and they shall be established in your life.
Galatians 6:17.
Jesus is the light of the world. The Word has entered you now. The entrance of the Word gives light, how can darkness assault you? Church Gist. Henceforth let no man trouble me for I bear in my body the light of heaven that darkness cannot withstand, let no devil trouble me.
By redemption we are ordained to be a peculiar people, we are not among the general run. We are God’s special species. May that mark of peculiarity remain on each one’s life.
– Therefore from henceforth, no devil troubles you and your household.
– No devil troubles your children. No devil troubles your destiny.
– No devil troubles your walk with God anymore.
– No devil troubles your business and career anymore.
– No devil troubles your marital destiny anymore.
The same way God sent all troublers to silence yesterday across the length of breadth of this nation. Throughout this election season, God will send all troublers to silence. There shall be no killings. Church Gist. The peace of God we saw yesterday and more than what we saw yesterday, shall be the order of the day.
– This nation shall not be destroyed. Destroyers shall be sent to the cooler. The peace, security and prosperity of this nation shall be restored.
– The shame and reproach over this nation shall be rolled away.
Grace to remain on God’s side to remain under His covering, receive it now in the name of Jesus. Church Gist. Grace to remain on God’s side not your own side all the days of your life, receive it now in the name of Jesus.
Ezekiel 2:3-5
We are not rebellious people. We should not play rebellion. Let God’s Word be strong enough to direct your steps. God has no other way to reach us outside His Word. His instructions are there, His corrections, His reproofs are there. “When the wicked rule, the people mourn” I didn’t write that, you didn’t write that. Let’s allow God’s Word to direct our path. They that walk in the light never stumble. This nation shall not stumble again. This nation shall not stumble again. Church Gist. If I heard correctly, they said in some places there were no elections yesterday because they lacked the papers and all that. So if you belong to any of those areas, please get down there and cast your vote wisely. Cast your vote with your conscience and prove that you are on God’s side and watch How God will decorate you with His goodness and mercy. Nigeria is safe. We are free at last. The destiny of a once strong nation shall be fully realized this time.
