SHOW ME ANY BELIEVER UNDER HEAVEN WHO IS NOT PLAYING GAMES AND EXPERIENCES AN OPEN HEAVEN WITHOUT TITHING.

YOU WON’T FIND ANY EXCEPT THE BIBLE IS NOT TRUE

WHEN WE GIVE OUR TITHE, IT IS AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF WHAT HE GAVE US, SO WE CAN ACCESS MORE FROM HIM

LABOUR WILL NEVER MAKE RICH. LABOUR MAY ESTABLISH A LIVING, IT IS HIS BLESSINGS THAT MAKE RICH AND ADDS NO SORROW.

TEN JOBS WON’T MAKE YOU RICH BUT HIS BLESSINGS MAKE RICH AND ADDS NO SORROW.

NO ONE IS LUCKIER THAN YOU. LIGHT IS WHAT DIFFERENTIATES ONE BELIEVER FROM THE OTHER. IN A WORLD OF DARKNESS THERE IS NO LUCK

HONOUR THE LORD WITH THY SUBSTANCE, NOT THY LEFTOVER. ANYTHING DISHONOURABLE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO GOD.

BISHOP OYEDEPO TELLS THE STORY OF HOW J. C. PENNEY, WHO WAS RAISED A TITHER, WENT BANKRUPT FROM NOT TITHING PROPERLY

ALL FINANCIAL GIANTS IN THE KINGDOM ARE GIANT GIVERS. THEY GIVE ACCORDING TO THE BLESSINGS OF THE LORD UPON THEIR LIVES AS A LIFESTYLE

TITHING WHICH IS OUR COVENANT INSURANCE PACT IS NOT A CHURCH DOCTRINE, IT’S A KINGDOM PRINCIPLE

JOHN D. ROCKEFELLER WAS A GIANT GIVER. HE GAVE 140 MILLION DOLLARS AT A TIME TO THE CHURCH EDUCATION FUND OF HIS CHURCH

AS A CHURCH, WE CAN NEVER GO DOWN DOING WHAT HE SAID WE SHOULD DO

NOBODY EVER GETS BLESSED BY CHANCE IN THE KINGDOM. OUR BLESSINGS COME FROM THE COVENANT PLATFORM

IT IS OUR RICHES TOWARDS GOD THAT SUSTAINS OUR WEALTH ON THE EARTH

THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE TODAY THAT CANNOT IMAGINE THAT SOMEDAY THEY’LL GIVE A MILLION AS TITHE. THEY HAVE LIMITED HOW FAR GOD CAN GO WITH THEM

GOD NEVER FORCES HIS BLESSINGS ON ANYONE. YOU HAVE TO BE INTERESTED

FASTING AND PRAYER WILL NEVER EQUAL TO WEALTH. NO SEEDTIME, NO HARVEST TIME!

DON’T CARRY YOUR BASKET WITH YOU WHERE YOU HAVE NOT PLANTED. YOU WANT TO STEAL?

ABRAHAM WAS A TITHER. IF YOU WANT HIS BLESSINGS, THEN COMMIT TO A LIFESTYLE OF TITHING WITH DELIGHT AND EXCITEMENT

  • Bishop David Oyedepo on FUNDAMENTALS OF KINGDOM WEALTH at March 2023 Week of Spiritual Emphasis Day 3 || LFC Canaanland ||

The Psalmist said, “I have been young and now I am old, I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread”. God is out to terminate every scourge and every seed of begging in our lives. It is the fruit ordained for this month and you won’t miss your portion. As mentioned in the first night, every month in God’s agenda is ordained for specific deliveries. Church Gist. The tree of life bears twelve manners of fruit and it bears its fruits every month. Fruits there means proofs. The proof ordained for this month is the release of our financial heritage in redemption. You shall not miss your own. It delivers its fruits by revelation. We access our inheritance by revelation. May the revelation required for each one to access his heritage of riches in Christ be unveiled this month.

Forget about somebody is lucky and the other one is unlucky. The difference is light, light is what differentiates one believer from the other. In a world of darkness, there is no luck, it is light that distinguishes anyone in the midst of darkness. Church Gist. In the name of Jesus, every torture and torment of financial lack and want shall end in everyone’s life because that is not your portion in Christ. You and your lineage will never suffer the surge of poverty anymore.

Heavenly Father we are out now looking up to you, let your light break and let your name be glorified. Church Gist. Let your light break forth into everyone’s heart and let your name be glorified. Thank you Lord in Jesus’ precious name.

We are looking at the fundamentals of Kingdom wealth. Getting it right from the foundation. If the foundation be destroyed, the righteous are helpless. Church Gist. Every building without a foundation has no future. Psalm 11:3.

FUNDAMENTALS OF KINGDOM WEALTH.
Remember what we are talking about, the prophetic focus is Biblical Covenant Empowers for Wealth. We are empowered on the basis of the covenant. So we need to understand the terms of the covenant and make our choice to align or disregard them. It is all a matter of choice. Church Gist. Deuteronomy 8:18. We are not empowered by luck or by the heritage of birth in the natural we are empowered by the covenant. He takes the poor out of the dunghill and makes them sit with kings. That’s what He does. He got us all in our poverty state, we came down here naked. So whatever we have is as added by Him.

The first thing I like us to note tonight is that everything we give is from what He gave us. That is the first very important thing to notice. For of His fullness have we all received. John 1:16. 1 Corinthians 4:7. David who knew the meaning of wealth said it in 1 Chronicles 29:14. Church Gist. That is where the pride should come down. There is nothing in your hand but as bestowed from Him. Labour will never make rich. Labour may establish a living, it is His blessings that make rich and adds no sorrow. Ten jobs won’t make you rich but His blessings make rich and adds no sorrow.

When we give our tithe, it is an acknowledgement of what He gave us, so we can access more from Him. Oh Lord, I got what you sent. Here is the proof. He says “oh boy I will give you more”. That means your address is still correct. No acknowledgement means wrong address and God hates waste so don’t expect more. Very interesting pictures. Of thy own have we given thee. We need that mentality, it will help us. God is not eyeing what you have or what I have. He wants to keep you under His blessings so He is asking you to keep acknowledging what He did so He can keep adding more to it. Church Gist. That’s the mystery behind tithing. It is not a church doctrine, it is not a law. It came long before the law. Abraham gave the tithe of his spoil to Melchizedek. Tell me any believer under heaven who is not playing games who experiences an open heaven without tithing, except the Bible is not true. You better wake up. There is no shortcut here. “I am the way, the truth and the life,” Jesus said. No shortcut.

Then comes the mystery of equality in the covenant. Deuteronomy 16:17. So we are called to give according to the blessings of the Lord that He has given us. So not all giving is acceptable. Church Gist. Malachi 1:6-9. We are priests. He has redeemed us unto God as priests and kings and we shall reign on the earth. So the redeemed are called priests in the Old Testament.

Anything dishonourable is not acceptable to God. ‘Honour the Lord with thy substance’, – Proverbs 3:9, not thy leftover. ‘Thy substance’, at your level. Church Gist. That woman cast two mites and Jesus said she gave the greatest. The mystery of equality is also expressed in tithing. It’s a tenth of His blessings on your life. No harassment, you have 10naira, 1naira is tithe. There’s no fight there. We serve the God of equality, he’s no respecter of persons. Church Gist. You start from where you are, He keeps building you up until you emerge a star among men.

Please, take on with you tonight this mystery of equality in the covenant. You give according to the blessings of the Lord that is upon thee. Church Gist. There’s one man I grew to love because of his hard lesson that he had to learn. His name is J. C. Penney. He was brought up a tither by the mother. He was taught that, he grew up with it and began tithing and tithing, his business began to grow and he began to rationalize the tithe. Church Gist. The business started going down and down and he went bankrupt. “Oh God, what’s happening?” He said, “oh boy, check where you fell from”. And he began tithing from that zero level, bit by bit, he began to grow. Church Gist. You have J. C. Penney network of malls across America today. It was a tithe-raised business.

  • can I hear your loudest Amen?

All financial giants in the Kingdom are giant givers. They give according to the blessings of the Lord, their God upon their lives as a lifestyle, beginning with tithing which is our covenant insurance pact. Malachi 3:11. It’s not a Church doctrine, it’s a Kingdom principle. It’s a vital term of the covenant. Church Gist. Your income is 20,000 and then suddenly, it became 100,000 and your tithe is still the same. It’s not tithe anymore. No, it’s not, don’t confuse yourself. Your tithe is zero, it’s transferred to offering. “Lord, why is the window not opening?” There’s no tithe to open the window. Church Gist. May these simple things get across to us and renew our approach in this great covenant of abundance.

There’s no shortcut. No one can be empowered outside the covenant. No job can empower anybody for wealth. No business, no matter how lucrative it may appear, can empower anybody for wealth. Church Gist. I also knew a man back in 1996, I read his material and got very hooked up to him. A Christian. His biography is titled, “All streets paved with gold”. By 1997, the turnover of that company was 83 billion dollars. I know he must have turned his back at one time or another to the covenant that brought him up. The end story is not good. Church Gist. According to his story, he was making 200 days of trips internationally, every year. Then suddenly, he began to go off the covenant details. Abraham didn’t borrow a dime all his life. Genesis 24:1. Abraham did it to the end.

John D. Rockefeller, for those who are familiar with his story, did it to the end. He was a dangerous giver – a giant of a giver. Church Gist. Amongst his records, he gave 140 million dollars at a time to the Church education fund of his Church. Church Gist. Giving according to the blessings of God which He has given you. Not funfair, not trying to play big. Giving according, then you have no stress.

Ever since He met me and unveiled this to me, I’ve never borrowed neither have I been tempted to. Giving according to His blessings on your life. When our income in Church was 18,400, my own income is there and sacrifices, that’s all our level – everyone of us. Church Gist. That was our level, my offering was inside. He that is faithful in little would be faithful in much. Matthew 12:48. Giving according to covenant equality is the only way to sustain your access to Kingdom wealth. 2 Corinthians 9:7. Doing it with excitement as a matter of cause.

There’s what I may give today that can bring me headache. “What? Is that what my blessing is worth in your life? Shut up!” I know that everyone who cares to follow this seemingly foolish path of giving honourable seeds to God and to every cause to which God has interest, you’re on somewhere. You’re going somewhere. Church Gist. You don’t need announcement, the proofs will announce that you’re on course. These are very humbling facts. “Things are tough”, it does not change the covenant. “Things are dicey”, it doesn’t change the covenant.

  • no one here will fall short.

Many have seen Hitch-free riches before, they can’t see it anymore. Why? They missed the mystery of equality in their giving life. Church Gist. The same 10naira he used to give when he was down there is still what he gives today when he’s now a little up. So, it begins to crash bit by bit. You’re in a new Kingdom, you better understand the terms of this Kingdom. Understand the constitution of this Kingdom and understand its economic terms and connect with it. Church Gist. As we keep doing what we are asked to do as a Church, we can’t go down sir. It’s not a matter of about number, no, it’s about covenant. We can never go down doing what He said we should do.

Somebody here said that anytime he heard me talk about corporate tithing, he got very grieved and angry. God told him one day, “you better settle down. Church Gist. You see how your anger is not producing anything?” Then he repositioned himself and things began to happen. We are not blessed by chance, no, we are blessed by covenant. Nobody ever gets blessed by chance in the Kingdom. Our blessings come from the covenant platform. Proverbs 11:24.

It is our riches towards God that sustains our wealth. Luke 15:21. It is our riches towards God that sustains our wealth on the earth. Church Gist. God first and the interest of His Kingdom. God first, so important. Giving according to His blessings.

There are people here today that cannot imagine that someday they’ll give a million as tithe. They have limited how far God can go with them. Church Gist. They have said in their heart, “a million? For what? Is God in need?” “Okay, I’m not in need. But I want to lift you up, change your position but you’re not interested. Thank you”.

I heard God say to me, “there’s a place for you on top if you’re interested”. He never forces His blessings on anybody sir. God never forces His blessings on anyone. “If you will diligently hearken. If you will observe to do, then, I, the Lord will set you on high above all nations of the earth” – Deuteronomy 28:1. It’s dependent on your choice and my choice. Church Gist. God will never force His blessings to any man, He would never force His way into a any man’s life. Revelations 3:20. Sir, let’s stop breaking our lives through fasting and prayer. Church Gist. It will never be equal to wealth, never! Don’t carry your basket with you where you have not planted. You want to steal? Genesis 8:22. Seedtime always precedes harvest time. No seedtime, no harvest in view.

Let me illustrate this mystery of equality in the covenant. I read the story of this typical elephant that consumes 140 pounds of straw, I don’t know what that means today in kilograms, and discharges one hundred pounds of manure per day, otherwise, it’ll die. Elephants die. Church Gist. Many of them, they have passed, some of them, of hunger. You need to see a very hungry lion, and then, at a point it’s gone. When you stop discharging below the level of your consumption, the journey is ending. Many, with their eyes open, have destroyed their heritage of wealth by undergiving the blessing of God on their lives; by rationalizing their tithing; by giving dishonourable seeds to God. Church Gist. There are things you give to a man and he looks at you and say, “what a madnes, get your thing” because of what he expects from your level of blessing. For someone who is an MD of a bank or owns a business, goes home and gives his mother 5 Naira – the mother that gave birth to him, she can take the money and curse you. Church Gist. There are things we give like that that just turns the other way round.

  • may you no be part of that.

Any day you don’t have what is honourable, keep it. Honourable is not in volume but there are things we give as an aspersion, “what is he? Who is he?” To God? That’s your source. Praise God! Church Gist. David said something, “I will not offer unto God of that which costs me nothing”. There must be something going in before something can come out.

  • somebody’s story is changing.

I’ve gone this route so that when we talk about sacrifice. Normal giving should become a lifestyle before sacrifice can apply, otherwise, it’s a game. Church Gist. Some fellows went about teaching, “there’s no tithing, there’s nothing”. I mean, you can see poverty written on them, from head to toe. If you’re Abraham’s seeds, do the works of Abraham. And Abraham would command his children to walk in his way and so, Jacob was a tither. By implication, Isaac, a tither. So, you find it, it’s in their lineage and God wants to bless us after the order of Abraham. If you belong to Christ, you’re Abraham’s seeds and heirs according to the promise – Galatians 3:29. John 8:39. Church Gist. Abraham was a tither. If you want his blessings, then commit to a lifestyle of tithing with delight and excitement. Matthew 23:23. So, tithing is validated by Jesus. Hebrews 7:8. So, it’s a part of the Abrahamic seed culture, it’s a culture of blessing. Christ redeemed from the curse of the law, which I said the other time is classified into three; poverty, sickness and death. Deuteronomy 28:14-66. Church Gist. You can classify all those curses under those 3 subheadings; poverty, sickness and death. And Christ has redeemed from the curse of the law – Galatians 3:13-14. Redemption entitles us access to the blessings of Abraham and that blessing among other things is facilitated by tithing. Genesis 14:19. Genesis 22:16. Church Gist. So, from the altar of sacrifice, he received generational blessing upon his coming generation and it’s still speaking today. So, it began with tithing and you saw hospitality in Chapter 18 of Genesis as a lifestyle. It went on. And then, sacrifice of Isaac from where he received a sworn blessing. Church Gist. That’s the works of Abraham. It’s not by singing, “Abraham’s blessings are mine”, it’s by doing Abraham’s work. Amen.

  • somebody’s story is changing. I know many Abraham, men and women will rise from here, who will leave a generational blessing upon their coming generation. People, where poverty will never be mentioned in their lineage again. Church Gist. But it begins by a quality covenant walk with God with a sense of covenant equality in your giving life.

Now listen to this, God came down and lavished his wealth on Solomon because of his heart for God. Solomon was in it for twenty years, then suddenly he turned his back and Solomon went dry. You heard him groaning “vanity upon vanity, all is vanity”. God turned His back on Him. He built one temple for God and built seven hundred shrines for his strange wives. God turned His back on him and raised an adversary against him. Church Gist. May God not turn His back on any of us. So it is not about being there, it is about staying there. Abraham stayed there till the end. He was in it for 100 years. He was at 75 and went to heaven at 175. May the staying grace come upon every one of us. How many believe God is no respecter of persons? God is no respecter of persons. Where our giving stops, that is where His blessings stop. May each one receive the staying grace in his or her life.

Can I tell you this? God wants His blessings in our life to be forever. What God does in our lives is forever, that is if we keep doing what brought us into that blessing. Church Gist. Then the blessing no devil can stop it. Blessing is coming upon your life and family and no devil can stop it.

In our church some years ago in Kaduna, a man of God came and was taking an offering of 300,000. At that time, I couldn’t generate 300,000. From where? Because I won’t steal. He hasn’t given me yet. God will never demand from you what you don’t have. God is not a taskmaster. Stop posing, He knows your size. He gave you the size, so stop posing to be what you are not. I have never been under pressure in my giving life. Never once! Something is breaking forth in your life. The tithe of #10 is #1. There is no argument about it. 1 kobo as an offering, great! That is where you are starting from. Suddenly it won’t soon become #1, then #10, then #30. I said it before in the Old Church in Kaduna, a time is coming, nobody will be able to lift his offering. Church Gist. Learn how to write it on a cheque. There were no various electronic mediums of giving like today then. Learn to write cheques to let God know I am going somewhere. Put it in an envelope, honour God with it. I could lift my own at that time but I can’t anymore. It will be an embarrassment. I can’t anymore. Can I ever give in cash anymore? No! That time is over. That’s how the journey begins. Start from where you are, you are a candidate for His wealth. Redemption is an establishment of that covenant in your life if you are interested. He obtained for us power, riches by redemption. He became poor so that through His poverty, we might become rich. He brought us under the blessing of Abraham, the blessing of generational wealth by redemption. You and I are part of God’s agenda for supernatural, enviable wealth on the earth. No one will sell off His birthright. Lift your hands and give God thanks for having you in His glorious agenda for wealth in the Kingdom. It is your turn to sing a new song. It is your turn to be a blessing to your world and not a burden.

In 1984, this Church was 18,000 plus a year. We didn’t borrow, we were not under stress. No pressure, great time. When God blesses your five loaves and two fishes it will feed five thousand men. The Blessing. Someone said if we give tithe, give to our parents, give to the poor, what will remain? The blessing. What are you looking for? Blessing. Even then I will take from my pocket and give to someone who had nothing to eat because we were not many and I could see them. If someone is looking morose, he is looking down. Help me call him, let him come after the service. What is going on? Then he will burst into tears, nothing to eat after the service. He is talking to the pastor of a very rich church. Not that he thinks you can give him anything. He wants you to pray whether he can be free from it. Church Gist. I will look in my pocket and put whatever I had there in his hand, In the name of Jesus this is the last time you will ever look for what to eat in your life and then he goes. How much was it? Start from where you are. Closing your eyes to things that are opportunities for change of story is not wisdom. Start from where you are. You are somewhere. Start from where you are. Stop saying “I don’t have”. You are the one drying up your pool. You have something.
