Welcome to the first Sunday Service in the month of March, 2023! It has been God all the way and I believe that you will be the first partaker of the blessing. The focus for this month is Supernatural lifting! Supernatural lifting implies successful living that is success in the midst of failures- When everybody is complaining of a casting down, you will be celebrating a lifting up! Church Gist. Succeeding where others failed, becoming a high flyer in the midst of a world that is completely down. You can be an ‘up’ person in a ‘down’ world! The world is down but you in particular can be up. He said, ‘You shall be above only not above sometimes’!- Above only!
-So therefore in this month, may you, your children, business and finance be above only!
-So in this month by the teachings that you will be getting, you will not only succeed, you will be lifted when others are complaining of casting down.
Among our twelve baskets of the Ministry, in January we did the prayer and fasting basket, in February we did the prosperity basket- God told us that there will be harvest when He knew that there will be a cashless economy. Church Gist. No! A cashless problem in fact it was ‘transferless’, ‘onlineless’ and all the ‘problemless’ put together. So God went ahead of time and told us that it’s our month of unusual harvest and that harvest is not yet over. You will see it all through this year!
I heard something yesterday that they stole a man’s twenty million naira and he didn’t even know. It took the intervention of an auditor for him to know about the loss. But for your twenty naira you are quarreling everywhere! I asked somebody- a man of God who was alone in a room with me last week, ‘You took some money here? And he said, ‘No’! I said, ‘Okay’! But when I counted the money, I thought that it was fifty-five thousand naira.
I’m not good with physical money I just spend and if you steal it I won’t know but since it’s a cashless economy, I was sure that it was fifty-five thousand naira so that I can run my bills that need cash and when I counted again it was twenty-seven thousand naira, the person just packed the money. Church Gist. He’s also a big man oo but you know say big man dey thief if he’s under pressure so I just asked him so that we don’t create a problem with it. ‘You have been a blessing to me and I have also been a blessing to you but that money can separate us, ‘I’m sorry for even asking maybe I didn’t count it well’, and it ended there’! Sometimes, you have to weigh the consequences of anger before taking action.
-So can I pray for you that your twenty million naira will get lost without you knowing? (Laughing) Church Gist. These are realms! But you know that you are already getting there oo
-May you be blessed to the point where your workers go thief your money, you no go even know.
If you wan pursue rat you go miss elephant. You will succeed this month in Jesus’ mighty Name! Congratulations!
So this month, we are doing the success basket among the twelve baskets of Answers Assembly: Church Gist. Miracle, prayer and fasting, success, power, wealth transfer, deliverance, destiny, wisdom, healing, Thanksgiving, possibility and soul-winning basket! So we take one every month as led by God and we don’t copy any Church.
There was a time that I declared our month of Greater Glory and that was the year that a great mentor that I respect in Nigeria also declared ‘Greater Glory’. Church Gist. This Scripture that I’m using now, ‘When men say there is a casting down, you say there is a lifting up… Job 22:29. At least I’ve seen about four to five Ministries using it as their running Scripture for this month- I didn’t copy, I just stay connected to Heaven and He unfolds the agenda for us and sometimes, it aligns with people we honour. So is it very good to know that what you are doing is what most fathers are doing? It’s better that way than to go and copy.
-Whatever is God’s agenda this month must come to pass in your life!
Pastors who don’t know how to run Churches, preach one thing today and another week another Message and everything is not in alignment but those of us who understand Ministerial work know that it’s like a syllabus that you follow yearly.
-You are blessed!
So very briefly the topic is ‘YOUR PRAYERS AND YOUR SUCCESS’ Job 22:29. There is a connection between your prayer and your success. Every prayerful man is a successful man. When men are casted down, we shall say in the place of prayer, intercession and declaration that there is a lifting up Job 22:29. Church Gist. Luke 11:1, why we are not getting answers to prayers is because we are not praying according to divine pattern- ‘Teach us to pray’. Never do anything until you are taught how to do it and don’t put your hand in too many things.
So prayer is not only a Spirit that is caught, it is an act that is taught. Until you have been taught, you cannot be tough in the place of prayer. Matthew 6:9-13 is Jesus’ approach to prayer. Some people said, ‘You cannot pray for provisions’. Church Gist. You can’t be more worded than Jesus because Jesus said, ‘Give us this day our daily bread’! Bread is provision.
When it comes to prayers there are three different groups of people in the Church:
1. People who see prayer as what you do to fulfil a religious obligation.
2. People who see prayer as an avenue to making requests. These second groups are okay to some extent but that first group? Church Gist. They can be very religious, they don’t want to follow the pattern of Matthew 6:9-13.
-You will succeed this month and even the blind will see that you are a success.
3. These are the worst set of people. Somebody said he wants to see me the other day and I said that I’m coming. Even God knows that I won’t come and in fact if I even come, God will punish me sef. Then I said that I should have asked Mama to see the person. At last I said, ‘Wetin I forbid my wife sef must forbid’! Church Gist. And I didn’t tell Mama and travelled. That person is in this third group- Prayer to them is what they do when there is an emergency. When there is no emergency, forget Church, forget bishop and everything.
You stand where dem dey spoil my name in fact you dey spoil my name, you come for me to pray for you? Nobi curse you wan carry? ‘What was Papa doing when that man left his wife’! Church Gist. Useless Papa! Are you normal? The Church is where we teach the truth of the Word and not to teach people how to live their private lives.
Some members are not qualified to have a big Church and some Churches will continue to remain small because if the Church becomes big the people will use their hand and drive everybody. Church Gist. When the Church becomes big you will have regular prostitutes coming to Church every Sunday, you will have men with five to ten wives come to Church- It will be a multitude era like you see in Winners Chapel, Christ Embassy and Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
You will have a wicked politician who will be the financier and sponsor of the Church. I did a post last week and I said, ‘Young Pastors wake up! If na me dey pastor Oluremi Tinubu, I for don drive am from Church using my preaching’! I told God last week, ‘Give me the capacity to pastor people in whatever direction they face. ‘You marry muslim? In this Church I for don drive you go out of this Church. Unknowing to me, I’m driving the First Lady. Are you more righteous than RCCG? Are you more righteous than daddy Adeboye that ordained Oluremi Tinubu as a Pastor in RCCG?- Na muslim be her husband and na Papa Adeboye ordain am! Church Gist. If I tell Pastors Kanayo and Eddy to give me names of women in this Church that we should ordain. I know them, they carry my bad spirit, they will drive that woman. They will say, ‘Pastor, the woman is committed but she’s married to a muslim’.
In Answers Assembly she is disqualified but Answers Assembly is praying to be big like RCCG. Some Churches will remain small and die small as long as the people don’t wake up and have a heart to embrace what you don’t like. Church Gist. God told Peter, ‘Don’t call unclean what I’ve made clean! Peter was so righteous that he was trying to run in that encounter he had. And God said, ‘No, you are operating an old syllabus, the new syllabus is- Don’t call unclean what I have made clean! I have made this person clean, the history may not be clean but in my current operation with this person, I have made the person clean’. If a man is in Christ he is a new creation and old things have passed away.
So many Churches would have lost her then we will now come to Church one day and say, ‘If you know that your husband is a muslim come this side! Those people cannot be ordained now let us be watching them’. The problem with failures is that what will make them succeed does not agree with their philosophy. And as long as their mindset remains the same, you are daydreaming.
In the body of Christ Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Nigerian Churches and Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), we have a candidate as a First Lady to the president, you saw when the man gave his presidential speech and his wife stood by him- That’s a pastor in RCCG. Do you know what it means? Osinbanjo is coming out as the Vice President from RCCG and the incoming First Lady is also a pastor in RCCG. Oh! Wake up! I should drive the person selling alcohol from Church? And the Churches and fathers that we want to be like: RCCG, Winners Chapel, Assemblies of God, Christ Embassy na their member dey do the factory- The factory where they produce it. When they say that you will eat the riches of the gentiles, you think that you will just dey waka that way and somebody will say, ‘Come! Take money, eat it! The Bible said that you will eat the riches of the gentiles, I be sinner fulfill Scripture na’! Na lie!
No sinner will call you to come and eat the riches of the gentiles but God go give you ideas that they cannot do without it. And any how they do am, they must buy your product and when they begin to buy money is leaving their hands! It’s like God saying, ‘Thou shall not borrow’! See your is brain too small to understand God. Church Gist. Today is Sunday, you are leaving Egypt on Monday. Go and borrow all you need to borrow on Sunday and take off with it on Monday, you are not coming back, it is called wealth transfer! When God wants to help you, continue to quote Scriptures, ‘Father you said we should not borrow’! See your small mind cannot understand the big picture’. Sometimes God will allow you make mistakes for you to fulfill destiny’!
I have followed God to the point where I know mistakes that are for destiny. And when I tell you to make that mistake, I dey wait for you for front. You will be very glad to make that mistakes. If I say marry sinners marry sinner. I know a sinner that will become a saint and a saint that will become a sinner. Some of you married saints, are you not living with a sinner? The man liked going to Church, does anything Church dey em heart today? Some marry for beer parlour na the man na em dey push them come Church today. It is the mystery of predestination, the type that only the Prophet can see! God said to Samson, ‘Go and marry that woman! Em Mama and Papa say them no go go. The Bible said, ‘They do not know that God is looking for an occasion to wipe off His enemies’! Nobody understands what God is doing with your life.
One of the richest daughters that I have in my life and Ministry, the guy came to marry her with okada. And then she gave me a wristwatch that month and I said, ‘Your time has come’! When the guy came she told me and I said, ‘You just gave me a wristwatch and I said that your time has come, this is your time that came’. In the space of six to eight years, she is the landlady of three massive structures. Church Gist. She has a new car for every of her child’s deliveries, now you can’t even count their warehouses. ‘Papa, she’s leaving your Church’! Most Churches will say, ‘Don’t leave the choir’! Let it look as if we see making mistakes, this mistake is for your destiny! I’m eating from there till date! I go chop am until old age.
-For your next breakthrough I go chop am!
-May you not be in this third group where you will pray only when there is an emergency.
-Receive the capacity to enter your destiny and succeed.
That’s why I won’t go into politics because if I enter there I will be deadly. My politician role models will be Tinubu and Wike- You don’t win elections, you seize power. In Labour Party, we wanted to win the election and All Progressive Congress (APC) seized power, money and the system. Dem dey tell Tinubu, ‘Be complaining as if we dey fight you’. Then El-Rufai sued Buhari in court. Church Gist. If dem tell you say El-Rufai sue Buhari, you go believe? And Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi State, you sef join e El-Rufai. It’s a draft and game dem dey play, dem sit down program Nigeria as a draft- They (Labour Party) will have the people but won’t have the money to buy elections.
In Akwa Ibom State, a city that I love so much a sitting governor came and there was no money to buy votes but Godswill Akpabio came and was giving voters ten thousand naira each of new naira notes. It was done openly- That means they seized the money and system and gave it to their people. Church Gist. That’s why I won’t join politics because this is wickedness! But anything the thing enter me and I want to join, just know that your pastor is now Wike and Tinubu (Laughing).
That’s the only way that Christians can be relevant. Church Gist. Check it both president and vice president are muslims and if they want to play a deeper politics both the Senate president, speaker, House of Representatives and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court will be muslims. That is, the first five most important citizens of the country are muslims. But we are doing prayers, so let’s continue to pray.
-This month you must succeed no matter how they do it!
I no longer follow what any fathers preach, I now follow what they do. I noticed that the more I dey follow them the more dem dey do some certain things wey I no dey too understand. If you say Bishop Oyedepo, daddy Adeboye, Pastor Olukoya and Pastor Oyakhilome are righteous, are you more righteous than them? Follow wetin dem dey do. Follow them. Church Gist. Deputy governor carry billions go Christ Embassy na em be the member wey drop am. Dem ask am say, ‘Na the people money you carry come? Na me wan come ask? I go only pray for you make you dey bring am. The me before I go come ask, ‘Are you sure nobi government money’? We no ask again.
Because the level that we are praying for, those are the people who are already there. How did they get there? Your member said he wants to travel abroad and you say, ‘Let us pray’! Tell am say make em go make pounds and dollars come! All the people with Churches abroad na so they open Church there. Church Gist. Your own you go say, ‘Is it the will of God? It’s the will of God to travel! We ask too many questions and that’s why we have too many question marks.
What then is prayer about?
1. Prayer is where we service our relationship with God. If you are not given to prayer your relationship with God is not serviced. Church Gist. Any car that is not serviced will underperform.
2. Prayer is the platform or avenue of communion between God and man. When communication dies, relationship is already buried just like the relationship between husband and wife. Church Gist. If God is your father, always call back home, don’t just go and wait for problems before you come to God. Sometimes just come and praise Him and tell Him how much you love Him.
3. Prayer is the platform for the expression of worship. Sometimes just come to the place of prayer, put your worship tape on and let it be playing in the background. And as you are hearing the worship be using the lyric to communicate with God, keep telling Him things that only Him can do, speak in tongues and talk to Him. Anytime that I want to hear God I have a tape called spontaneous worship of about forty-five minutes which I got from a Pastor friend. Church Gist. The person is singing as if he is praying and praying as if he is praying, the tune of the voice is an atmosphere that only few can trigger. My Pastor friend has not given me money but he has helped me to attain a spiritual level of walk with God. You need some of those kinds of friends that will help you fine-tune with a frequency that helps you connect with Heaven at all times.
4. Prayer is the platform for the enforcement of the will of God on earth. It helps your life to align with God’s will.
-In this month of March, only the will of God is permitted to be done in your life!
5. Prayer is the platform for accessing resources for Kingdom purposes. This year don’t do thanksgiving without bringing Chioma Jesus to this Church. Chioma Jesus is in one Church in town here, what are they doing with her? To raise an altar of praise and worship that people love. Bring her and let her bring people. One person is sponsoring it. Church Gist. I have a very close friend who said that he was an ordinary barber but this is how God has helped him. He said every year, I will bring all of the best artiste to come to my Church. The first time he tried it, it was all night from 7pm to 7 am. He said, ‘For the first time, I spent forty-five million naira’.
The law is that no Church member’s money should be inside of it. God has blessed me so much and I will use one night to tell God, ‘Thank you for where you picked me up’! He’s one of the richest people in town. And in the second one he still brought all the others and spent sixty-five million naira. He will pay for all their business class flight, hotel and everything about them. Church Gist. That is how people thank them when God has helped them. Not that God has helped you and on your thanksgiving day, people are breaking bottles and fornicating around because God blessed you. Which kind of blessing is that? In this year some of you should go and bring Gospel Ministers and let us come and dance and praise God on your behalf.
-And I know that God will do it for you this year!
That my pastor friend cannot fall oo. As one contract is finishing in Warri another one is starting immediately in Port-Harcourt, Bonny Island and he is moving to other States. Church Gist. He’s been moving from one contract to the other for years now- Because his thanksgiving is to raise an altar of praise and worship to God.
-May God give you wealth for Kingdom purposes.
And I will take the lead in that matter and say, ‘God! Myself and family are sponsoring this guest artiste to come to Answers Assembly. This is the secret of most people you think are not Spiritual. If you cannot give God praise and worship, it is a yeye Spirituality. Real Spirituality is when God is honoured and adored. Not that He gives you a new job and there is no reflection in the House of God for the new job you have. That’s not spirituality!
6. Prayer is the platform for the renewal of our consecration and the maintenance of sanctification. I put it this way, the praying man will stop sinning and a sinning man will stop praying, there is no middle ground about it. It is either prayer takes you away from sin or sin will take you away from prayer. Church Gist. You don’t have a problem with masturbation, adultery, fraud and alcohol, your problem is lack of prayer. The reason why the devil is using you is because God is not using you.
7. Prayer is the platform for intercepting the enemies’ agenda and evil orchestrations Matthew 6:13.
-Every agenda of the enemy, we intercept and spoil it now in the Name of Jesus.
As we round up this Service, when is prayer said to be impactful?
1. When the focus is God and not self Psalms 34:5.
2. When it is mixed with appreciation and thanksgiving. You remember the Word of God in Philippians 4:6-7, ‘Be anxious for nothing with prayer and supplication let your request be made known to God… Church Gist. Don’t go to God and start complaining for thirty minutes and one hour in the place of prayer.
3. When it is centered on God’s will and His Word 1 John 5:14.
4. When it is directed at the wellbeing of others Job 42:10. I said something here a few weeks ago, ‘Take somebody’s matter as your matter by praying for that person! And the man who has been suffering from the yoke of joblessness got delivered. One of my daughters took up his case and raised the man’s prayer on his behalf and that same week he got the job and we heard the testimony. When was the last time you knelt down and prayed for someone else? That is when prayer becomes impactful. ‘All my 2023 prayer request in Salvation Ministries was not my prayer from the top to bottom- It is for members’! Church Gist. The one that even concerns me is that of the Kingdom, ‘Lord, let your Hand rest upon Answers Assembly! Let the barren have children, let the jobless become gainfully employed, Don’t I know that when they get a job that they might change their Church’? But you must not forget Job 42:10. Don’t pray with hatred in your heart, pray with love.
5. When it is faith filled Hebrews 11:6. This is when you don’t doubt God’s ability and reliability. He is ever reliable, faithful and ready, He makes impossible things possible. Church Gist. This is saying, ‘God! I believe you will do it, even if you don’t do it I still believe You’- At this level? You have crossed from faith to trust. Faith means ‘I believe that you will do it’, and trust means ‘Even if you don’t do it, I will still trust you’! This is the realm that most of us are in at the moment.
6. When it is followed by positive confession Job 22:29, Mark 11:23-24. Buhari came into power and we came into this building, he came into his second term and we bought those land, Tinubu is coming, I have moved into my duplex. When Tinubu resumes we will move into our Nursery, Primary and Secondary School building. Church Gist. You know why I’m saying it? If you join them to say, ‘We are finished, you are the one that is finished’! ‘Blabla blublu, even the baba blue, I go see am lick’ (Laughing). I won’t even beg for baba blue! This government? E go favour me and you! Na Buhari government I take achieve oo.
-In this government? You will achieve more!
You know why we are saying it? There are forces all over the air hearing your words, ‘If thou shall say to this mountain be thou removed’… Mark 11:23. How forcible are right words? Your words create the atmosphere you find yourself in. Your word determines your world. I’m telling you! Somebody said that only Irabor can move into a new house in this kind of worst season! Church Gist. I said, ‘You are right, nothing affects Irabor. Go and find the meaning of Irabor- Irabor means constantly praying to God. Na God Hand I dey because some people are bent on finishing you but I’m looking up to God. Nothing that affects others affects me.
-This government will favour you no matter how bad the government will be. Your life will be sweet. In fact I just paid for your ticket to go and rest abroad. Church Gist. I stamp your visa now in the Name of God the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost.
I went home last Sunday and every thing that happened here including tithe was a matter of concern and I said, ‘God! This Nigeria oo’. Church Gist. And one of my daughters called and gave me a tithe that covered everything that happened here on Sunday.
-That is how it will happen in this season, one thousand people will gather and your own commitment will cover that of one thousand people! Church Gist. Tinubu and APC will favour you!
7. When it is done with an offering of seed-faith Acts 10:1-4. Purity, fear of God and devotion is not enough to receive answers but it’s the giving of alms. Cornelius was praying and giving!
-All your household will serve the Lord this month!
-This month, you will receive angelic visits!
If you are not a giver, you don’t have a memorial that will speak to God on your behalf. You know a memorial? Something that should speak for you when you are about to die! Church Gist. It is something that you have done ahead of ten to fifty years and hundred years time.
-May your prayers speak for your children’s children. Church Gist. And may your alms speak on behalf of your prayers in the name of God the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost!
