You are on your way to better days. The path of the justified is like a shining light, it shines more and more unto the perfect day. You are on your way to better days. Now declare that I am on my way to better days. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
God’s Word is essentially prophetic. God’s Word is ordained to speak to our destinies, speak to our future, speak to our eternity, it is not a storybook. Church Gist. It is a prophetic book from the mouth of God. God’s Word is God speaking to His people. Isaiah 34:16.
Lord speak to me this morning, speak to my destiny, speak to my future, speak to my posterity and speak to my eternity. Church Gist. Lift your hands and pray that prayer.
He said if you diligently hearken…, you can’t just hear casually or carelessly. Diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. Diligently hearken not religiously hearken. If you be in the Spirit enough to hear what the Spirit of God is saying, you can’t be outside it and hear what He is saying. You have to be in the human realm to hear what human beings are saying. You have to be in the Spirit realm to hear what the Spirit of God is saying. My prayer today is that just like those two testimonies read, I heard them when I was getting ready to come down here. They heard something, they did something because they heard and what God said came to pass. Church Gist. They heard something, not that they wrote something. People are writing all kinds of stuff. They heard something, they applied themselves to it and they saw God confirm His Word. They heard something, they did something and what God said came to pass. You feel something doesn’t make it happen, you do something is what makes it happen. As your Word comes my way, let the doing grace come over me. Otherwise one is deceiving themselves. James 1:25.
Thank you Heavenly Father. Lord speak to us and confirm your Word in our lives in Jesus’ precious name.
As you heard it read in the prophetic focus of the month, this is one of those three-fold mandates that I received from the Lord. “Get back home and make my people rich”. Church Gist. Many have been taken out of the dunghill and made to sit in the palace today by diligently hearkening to what God said to tell them and observing to do, things opened up. There is nothing magical there.
First let me say this, How prophetic is the Word of God? Everything God said in Genesis 1:1-31, God saw. When God speaks the Word He speaks creates its content. That is why they call it the more sure word of prophecy, you believe it, it creates its content. It is created. Genesis 1:31. God said it, God saw it. Peter deceived the Word as the more sure word of prophecy. Church Gist. 2 Peter 1:19-21. They were all “Thus saith the Lord” that is what you find there. Every prophecy of scripture is God prophesying to His people. It is more guaranteed than a prophetic word from any prophet on earth. So it is not a storybook. Stop reading stories, seek to access the mysteries of the Kingdom.
The vital mystery of the Word is its prophetic nature. Can I tell you what I mean? I saw at the age of 16, a year after I got born again, that I had been redeemed as a king and a priest to reign on the earth. It sank into my spirit, every time the small boy wanted to go out, he would check if a king would go out like this? It entered into me. It was me God spoke to, not to us. I saw in 1981 that the path of the just is like a shining light, that shines better and better and I vowed against a better yesterday. Proverbs 4:18, Revelation 5:10. It is prophetic. I stepped out of poverty and uncertainty of the future in 1982 from Deuteronomy 8:18. March 22nd 1982, we are in March again. I screamed “Ye! I can never be poor! I saw it and embraced it and I saw the outcome. One day this short man was declared the richest pastor in the world in a depressed economy. Without begging, without games. It is prophetic. Isaiah 34:16. Church Gist. It is a prophetic service, so don’t mind me. I am not bothered about notes or anything. If you can catch it today you are through. The future I am walking in today and the one that is coming, I saw it from the book that it is coming. I saw it not that it just happened, I saw it was coming. From the eyes of scriptures, I saw it. May you see the great plans of God coming through in your life both now, in the future, in your generations coming after you in the name of Jesus.
Let’s look at three of four fundamental prophetic words for the end time Church.
1. The end time Church is ordained a Church of multitudes.
Micah 4:1-2. Isaiah 2:1-3. The last days began in the days of the Apostles. They filled the whole of Jerusalem with their doctrine. The disciples multiplied greatly, almost the whole city gathered in Church. Now we are towards the end, we are in the latest days of the latter end. Eruption is God’s ordination and your Church is one of those churches today on the earth experiencing the fulfilment of those prophecies. Church of multitudes. Church Gist. So it is not anybody’s agenda and no devil can stop it. Let every devil go to quiet, you come against it, you are ground to powder, ground forever. Can any devil stop heaven’s agenda? How? Can the creature silence the creator? Can darkness silence light? The end time Church is a Church of multitudes and it is happening all around the world today. Multitudes. You begin to see high palaces being built around the World, it is a fulfilment of God’s prophetic agenda for the end time Church.
2. The end time Church is ordained to command supernatural wealth.
Malachi 3:17-18. Malachi 4:1-2. There is an economic woe coming, I call it a holocaust. The great will be biting their fingers while the covenant people are singing a new song. Please be awake, it is not a church strategy for fundraising. God doesn’t raise funds. He is the source of all good things. Haggai 2:8-9. I don’t raise funds, I want to raise you. God told me in 1987, ‘don’t raise money, raise men’. God wants you raised. I didn’t know you when God showed me this so I wasn’t counting on you. I got my last BTA to travel in my life in 1986, I travel whenever and wherever at will with resources available in my pocket. We have not borrowed once. He said I want you to take note of the grace upon the Macedonian Church. Take note of the grace that is upon this Church. You are already here, ask yourself what are we doing. Church Gist. We are just pushing the Kingdom. We are just pushing the frontiers of the gospel and complying with the covenant terms for abundance and God cannot but confirm His Word. I want to believe you have heard it. “Rule thou in the midst of your enemies’ ‘ and the rich rule over the poor, so the end time Church is ordained for superfluous wealth that humbles the proud. Those who are carrying fake money around in no time they will be down to zero, except God’s Word is not true. But covenant-made financial giants will keep scaling new heights. No game, no gimmicks, come awake. God is still raising the poor out of the dunghill. Come awake, take your place. My prayer is that today will mark a new dawn in everyone’s life.
Say this with me: God’s Word is prophetic, it is God speaking to me. Church Gist. If I will diligently hearken and observe to do what it says, God’s integrity is committed to confirm His Word in my life.
GATEWAYS TO FINANCIAL FORTUNE.
Is it an ambition? No! It is our inheritance. 2 Corinthians 8:9. It is our heritage, it is not a crave for things, it is a revelation of our heritage in Christ. Revelation 5:12. Christ obtained for us power, riches, wisdom, strength, glory, honour and blessings. Obtained for us, settled already. No wonder He said I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly. So wealth is not the ambition of some individuals. It is the heritage of every member of God’s family. It is the heritage of the redeemed of the Lord. Church Gist. The older brother of the prodigal son never knew what was his. Someone can abide in His house all his life and not know what belongs to him. He became angry when the one who had wasted his life on riotous living got back and was celebrated. He said, “you never gave me”. No! You never connected with it. Can I have you say with me: Wealth is my portion in redemption. It is my heritage in Christ. It is not my ambition, it is not my crave, it is my birthright. Jesus paid for it to bring me out of the dunghill and to sit in the palace.
To walk in financial fortune, the word of Job 22:21-25 demands that we get acquainted with the truths of the terms of the covenant. ‘Get off your way, it doesn’t work. My ways are higher than your ways. Come over here. It doesn’t work by playing games. That is nothing to fear. If I am the one making you, no devil can unmake you’. Nothing to fear. I will deal with them without your permission. Church Gist. Psalm 112 said the wicked shall see your riches and gnash with their teeth, the desire of the wicked shall perish. So it is not a matter. The matter is when God blesses, He secures the blessing. Proverbs 10:22. So if anybody here is under attack by reason of God’s good hand on your life, the attack returns sevenfold to the sender. There is a law that puts the believer in command of God’s financial fortune agenda.
The covenant of abundance is a platform upon which we are empowered for wealth. Deuteronomy 8:18. That is where God opened up my financial destiny. God empowers people for wealth. If wealth were evil, God would not empower us to get evil. No! Money is not evil, it is the love for money that is evil. 1 Timothy 6:10. The love of money not money. Otherwise, His eyes are purer than to behold evil and God said “the silver and the gold are mine”. It is the love of money that is evil not money. Get off that religious blindfold. Of His fullness have we all received. Haggai 2:8. Money cannot be evil, it is the love of money that is evil. Church Gist. The love of money can make a man kill his mother to make money, kill his son to make money, kill his wife to make money. The love of money. You are owing somebody and he is harassing you, you kill him for doing you a favour to borrow you money. The love of money. Armed robbers are all over in the night. Ten may go out, two may return. Then the remaining two will still look for more and go again and then they die the following day. The love of money is the root of all evil. All those devils engaging in the kidnapping business, in the name of Jesus, this year is declared your year of judgment. The business people sponsoring them, I command your fountains to run dry. You have made many parents weep, many spouses cry. You will cry sevenfold. When blessings come from God, it makes rich and it adds no sorrow. You have stepped into the sorrow-free realm, no more crying behind closed doors for you in the name of Jesus Christ.
So I defined a covenant. God said to me from that scripture “my son David, my prosperity plan is not a promise” what? I came up in the days when we confess and possess. That’s the faith we knew. “so it does not answer to prayers, it has no respect for fasting. My prosperity plan is a covenant, until your part is played, I am not committed”. I heard it live from the mouth of God as I began praying for God to show me what he showed Copeland. I was on a three-day fast. I had one of his books and that of his wife to know what did you show this man that is being manifested openly around the world. Then I met with God. Somebody’s story is changing. So a covenant can be defined as a deal enacted by God based on well-defined terms and sealed with an oath for delivery. ‘I have these provisions for you if you are interested’. Church Gist. Lord, I am interested. ‘Then do what it commands and as you do you have committed my integrity to confirm it. God never forces His way into any man’s life. ‘If you will diligently hearken to my voice. I stand at the door and knock, if any man opens I will come in’. I can’t break into your life without your permission, I am not a thief. The shepherd goes through the door, your heart is the door to your life. So without opening the door of your heart, God can’t come in. Enough! Don’t say that again. No! You won’t have it again, that is the meaning.
My mentor Dr Copeland said, “David don’t tell me you learnt this thing from me, you are getting more from it than I did”. That is what will happen to you. You will get more from this than I did if you will diligently hearken. No games here oh. I love that scripture was used during the offering. Luke 19:17. You have been faithful, now have authority. We are not talking about what is in your hand, we are talking about the authority you have. You enter 83 nations without transmission of cash. Authority. Authority is far above possession, it commands possession at will. Luke 19:17-19. The covenant confers the authority of financial prosperity on covenant people. We saw wonders during the building of this Tabernacle. Church Gist. They will tell me they need 40 million tomorrow, I say go ahead and the next day it came. No telephone contact, no chat with anybody. We need 28 million next tomorrow. Go ahead, my friend. At a point, the people in charge said, “Sir, can we concentrate on this building and leave Faith Academy”, I said which one can you do? Is the man doing it complaining? God is He complaining to you. The moment you say we will do this one, that means you have the ability to do it. You don’t have any ability of your own. Somebody say ‘authority’. This Church started tithing in 1987. In 1999, authority sat down. We command fortune by covenant authority. You don’t know dry seasons by covenant authority as conferred by God. Authority is in degrees. Somebody’s story has just changed.
As a seed of Abraham, you are ordained to be a blessing to your world not to your family. Genesis 12:3-4. God swore it to Abraham and He wants to bless us after the order of Abraham. We are redeemed to be a blessing to our world, not to our family, “my wife and I and the children, my relatives, nephews, cousin and all that stuff. Church Gist. I heard God say to me in 1981, you shall lend to nations but thou shall not borrow. Deuteronomy 15:16. Psalm 89:34. Things are hard, can’t break the covenant; things are tough, can’t break the covenant; things are tough can’t break the covenant. You better get started from where you are.
The covenant that empowers for wealth anchors on the mystery of seedtime and harvest. Genesis 8:20-22. That is the anchor law that launches believers into their heritage of financial fortune. If you hate that law you can’t be there. If you scorn that law you can’t be there. Seed time and harvest means sowing and reaping. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7. Church Gist. Sowing is giving, not of necessity, not grudgingly, God is not in need. The poor you are trying to help, God has lineups outside you that will bail them out. You don’t have anything to brag about. If you don’t help them, somebody else will help them.
What is seedtime and harvest? Giving and receiving. Philippians 4:15. Seedtime and harvest is all about giving and receiving. You are not entitled to receiving without first giving. It is your giving that commands your receiving. If you are not interested in giving, you are not a candidate for receiving. As you do that God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. We all know that not all your needs are financial. Church Gist. All your needs, whatever brings you sorrow He will take care of that.
Blessed is the man that considers the poor, the Lord shall deliver him in the day of trouble. Is that not a need? Can money deliver you in the day of trouble? Job was a sold out giver. God built a hedge around him and all that he had on every side but Job never knew, he was living in fear. Every covenant practitioner has a hedge of fire around him. I heard Benny Hinn share a story some time ago. They were flying and fuel got exhausted and the pilot announced we are bound to crash and he started laughing. It is the Holy Ghost laughter that just came upon him. Church Gist. Truly the plane crash-landed in one airport, it was rolling and rolling but he is alive today. He was laughing. There is a hedge around your life. You are not Job, now you are aware of it that covenant practice entitles you to a hedge of fire around your life. Anybody that comes against you is broken to pieces. If it is God blessing you, He keeps sorrow off your shores. You never suffer a downward trend anymore in your life. My God shall supply all your needs on the basis of your engagement with the law of giving and receiving.
What is seedtime and harvest? Scattering or distributing and increasing. Proverbs 11:24-25. 1 Timothy 6:17-19. Our ever-increasing heritage requires that we keep distributing of His resources in our lives to keep increasing in His blessings. There was a man they called ‘the rich fool’ there is no such man in this Church. He was just accumulating and will never distribute and God said such a man is not worthy to live. Over! Church Gist. So is every one that is rich in this world but is not rich towards God. Luke 12:21. He was an accumulator, not a distributor. A man can survive without food and water for 40 days but can you survive constipation for 40 days? Max one week, everything inside you will turn to poison. It is more blessed to give than to receive. You stay refreshed as a giver.
What is seedtime and harvest? Giving that entitled you to being given. Luke 6:38. Proverbs 19:17. He that giveth to the poor shall not lack. Proverbs 28:27. Now we are there. Tithing is the capital law that enables the believers access to the open heaven order of blessings. You know whatever comes from above is above, so you become a wonder and an amazement to many. Psalm 71:7. Church Gist. You become a wonder to many because you are operating with the blessings that come from heaven. Malachi 3:10.
We also discover from scripture that kingdom promotion sacrifices are ordained to keep our heaven open. Haggai 1:5-13. Lack of required response to kingdom promotion opportunities can shut the heaven. Church Gist. The heaven over your life will never be shut as we take responsibility.
Please note the following: Empowerment of wealth is not a promise, it is a covenant and until one’s part is played, he or she is not a candidate for empowerment. Empowerment for wealth is not a promise but a covenant, until one’s part is played, he is not a candidate of empowerment for wealth. Jeremiah 33:20. You can’t commit me to empower you on your terms, you can only commit me on my terms. Seed time and harvest is my anchor term. It is my covenant with anyone who is interested. Jeremiah 33:20-21. Until you can stop the day and the night you can’t break it. Interestingly and this is good news, Anyone can start from where he is because God’s commandments are not grievous. That widow brought her two mites and Jesus said she has given the greatest. It means she has touched the heart of God and her explosion blessings were just here from her two mites. He said to Abraham ‘from the place where you are…” Church Gist. start there. In 1984 our total income in this church for the whole year was 18,000 plus. My offering was there, my sacrifice was there. That was our level. Everybody’s level then was 18,000 plus in the year 1984. You can start from where you are. His commandments are not grievous. Start from where you are. The tithe of #10 is #1. Start from where you are. Don’t eat the seed plus the fruit. In 1985, we grew to 55,000. Heaven came down. Watch, we were not borrowing oh. His blessings maketh rich. When God breathes on your five loaves and two fishes, it will be more than enough to feed you. I made a vow against borrowing in 1981, October 4th from the Word. I will bless you, you will lend to nations but don’t let me be slow for you. Go at my pace. We could not rent a house of 5,500 in 1986. I said if the man does not agree for 5,000 let him go away. We will look for another one. Now we are building cities around the world. Start from where you are. Stop posing to God so you don’t get decomposed. God knows your size. Stop claiming that you are something else. He knows your size. You make #20 profit, the tithe is #2. When you miss your tithe you are surcharged. The blessings are cut short and then you are surcharged with what remains and you get poorer by the day. Not you! Not your family! Not your household! He knows all about you including what you don’t know. He knows your thoughts afar off including what you don’t know. He knows when you are calculating it. The fuel that took me to Church, the fuel that increased, they are all part of my tithe. Well done. You have given your tithe to the driver and to the filling station.
There is a man by the name J.C. Penney, I shared the testimony during the Week of Spiritual Emphasis. He started tithing and God was blessing him. At a time he said ‘this tithe is too much’. He started cutting it down and God was cutting down his business little by little until he went bankrupt. ‘God what is happening’, He said ‘you are the one happening’. Then he recovered himself and started tithing from bankruptcy all the way up. Church Gist. Don’t joke with God. When next you meet God ask Him when last I missed my tithe last. If I ever did. What I see God do in my hand. Today is my tithing day, the first Sunday after the end of the month. What I see in my hand today is far beyond my dream of blessings without looking for it. God wants to decorate your life.
If this were a fundraising Church you will know. People raise funds upon all the funds they have already because their church is a fundraising platform. ‘We are going to have a convention, so we need to raise funds”. What are you doing with your offering that you need to raise an offering for a convention? Don’t convent. Tens of thousands draw their pay on a monthly basis, we have never struggled to do it. There is a grace upon this church that flows from the head of Aaron, the giving grace that makes financial giants. Church Gist. It is your turn for a change of story. I am in my prophetic realm this morning and I like you to please grab this. God has come down for your change of story. Let him in. Allow him to come in.
The next thing to note is that the covenant will continue to work as long as we are engaging with the terms of the covenant of wealth. As we continue to engage, it will never stop but when we stop, it stops. David said to Solomon “my son the Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you forsake Him, He will forsake you”. Church Gist. Solomon forsook Him and God forsook Solomon. Stay on my friend. Abraham stayed on for 100 years. God called him at 75, his obedience was sustained till 175. God blessed him with everything. One hundred years long walk with God. Many are getting into that this morning.
David was 17, a man with a heart for God. He went to heaven at 70. He was a giver till his last breath. After he had transferred the throne to Solomon, he said he had given from his private treasure. Now Jesus holds the key of David in heaven. Somebody say authority. Solomon walked with him for twenty years, he backed out and vanity upon vanity became, all became vanity. Solomon ended up a miserable man. Wake up and receive grace for a sustainable covenant walk with God. This does not bang on what you receive, it bangs on what you give. You will stop receiving when you stop giving. Someone said to his son-in-law-to-be, “how much do you give?” the son-in-law said, “sometimes I give ten, sometimes I give twenty”. He said you are an emotional giver, I won’t allow my daughter to marry someone who does not give because you will bring her to poverty. Church Gist. That means you give well when it is going great, you go down when it is going down. That is why you stay down. He took it and heaven opened. He was first angry ‘what concerns this man with my giving’ but later he took it. He had seen it, he was a man of God. He was an emotional giver for a while. Have a schedule for your giving my friend. Not #5 today, then #2 tomorrow, that is emotional giving. have a schedule. As God has blessed everyone even so let him give. You can’t be giving what you were giving when you were ten times below where you are now and expect returns. It is not an honourable seed, it is an insult.
We have never gone down once in this ministry financially. No! I have never known a downward trend in my finances year in, year out. Our consistency in covenant practices guarantees a stable platform for financial fortune. Stop toying with your tithe, so things will cease to be tight for you. Church Gist. Allow God to open the heavens over your life and it will be what you enjoy all the days of your life. We need the grace to sustain our covenant engagement so we don’t give up in the process. Luke 13:19. He knows not how. Stop asking how, just keep doing what God says and He will begin to prove Himself, one phase after another.
Welcome to your realm of financial fortune. 2 Corinthians 8:7. There is no substitute to sowing and reaping for anyone that truly desires to walk in his birthright of financial fortune. Church membership, zero. Service unit, zero. Don’t be deceived whatever a man sows that he shall reap. If you don’t sow finance you can’t reap finance. Church Gist. Wake up! The words “I don’t have” will never come from your mouth again. Every time you say I don’t have, what you have diminishes. Our kitchen people at home, when I say I need something, they say ‘it is plenty in the house’. ‘It is plenty’ means they need to replenish the store, not that it is finished. But you, everything is finished. Tomato finished, pepper finished, fish finished. You will finish everything in your life without knowing because life and death are in the power of the tongue.
We should also know that the covenant that empowers for wealth does not answer to revelation and declaration. Quoting scriptures does not bring riches. You have the revelation but if you miss the application, you can’t have the manifestation. Revelation without application equals frustration. It does not answer to believing and receiving, you believe, you prove you believe by obeying before you receive. Church Gist. There is always something missing in the equation. Without obedience, faith is impotent. It does answer to prayer and fasting, you can’t reap from the field where you have not sown any seed. It doesn’t answer to confession and possession. You can’t possess what you have not invested in. Always remember the anchor law is giving and receiving.
We must understand that serving God with our resources is the gateway to financial fortune. God first is the rule. Every other thing lines behind it. God will only entrust his riches into the hands of those He can trust to use such wealth for His purpose. Luke 16:11. Every form of wealth on the earth is temporal but true riches go from generation to generation after the order of Abraham. There are people here today that your generations after you will never smell poverty by the quality of your covenant walk with God. They will identify you wherever you are as that prosperous family. You will be helpers of others. You will be sustainers of those that are in need. Can He trust you to promote His Kingdom with His wealth? Church Gist. Then He can entrust it in your hand. Can He trust you to still be paying your tithe diligently and Truthfully when you are one hundred times where you are today? Luke 16:11. When you have not proved it with the temporal riches in your hand. I am waiting for the day and I know it is not far, somebody will walk up to me and say “How many churches do we want to build in Niger Republic?. We will take care of it”. Someone else will come and ask how many churches we are building in Australia”. God is awesome. Keep dreaming of Kingdom advancement blessings. God will keep enlarging your cost.
We must understand that our giving is not a financial donation to help God but a spiritual transaction that unleashes the heavenly order of blessings in our life. Noah reared an altar of sacrifice and God smelled a good savour in heaven and God broke the curse on the ground. Abraham reared an altar of sacrifice on Mount Moriah and God spoke to him twice from heaven. So it answered in heaven. Genesis 22:15-18. Every of our giving is a spiritual transaction that answers in heaven and commits God to unleash His blessings upon our lives. Philippians 4:19. Take your mind off a donation mentality. God will never need a donation. Of His fullness have we all received. What have we that we have not received? 1 Chronicles 29:14. Church Gist. So it is coming from God and we are giving it back to God to acknowledge that we saw His blessing. Please let a donation mentality clear off your mind. Only a beggar needs donations. Therefore remain committed to serving God and the interest of His kingdom, to sustain the grace for financial fortune. Zechariah 1:17. Remain committed to tithing your income in order to remain under an open heaven order of blessings. Remain committed to honouring God with your worship seed. So give what is honourable so your blessings will not be rejected. Give according to His blessings on your life not where you were ten years ago. Your life won’t go backwards. As God is advancing you, keep demonstrating that in your honourable seed to Him from time to time. Expect all curses to be averted.
The first sacrifice that went to God, God averted the curse on the ground. Your tithing, your giving goes to God, curses over your life are averted. Church Gist. No curse shall have a hold on your life anymore. Expect to remain protected as your walk in the covenant.
No explanation will be a substitute for covenant engagement, no situation will be acceptable to God for nonalignment.
