Isaiah 60:1. It is only by light that we rise. Positions cannot change without light. Light is the life-changing power of the Kingdom. It is the way out of shame and reproach. Isaiah 60:1-3,8. Church Gist. Go ahead and ask God for an encounter with light tonight. Let there be a breaking forth of light into your heart. Among the blessings of fasting is the outbreak of light. Let there be an outbreak of light in my heart that will cause my position to change.
One of the reasons for the stagnation of the redeemed is thinking that we know enough. Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 8:2. Romans 11:33. Tonight each one will return with a raw encounter with light. It will be next level illumination, changing everyone’s level forward.
Thank you heavenly Father, we have called and you have answered. Now grant everyone the spiritual sensitivity required to catch every light that will move us forward the more. Let it be Lord, in Jesus’ precious name.
FUNDAMENTALS OF KINGDOM WEALTH PART 4
How to flow in kingdom wealth from a solid foundation. Sustainable flow, continuous flow, unending flow. We have the heritage of financial fortune in redemption. That has been cleared. He became poor so that through his poverty we might be made rich. So it is provided for. 2 Corinthians 8:9. Revelation 5:12. Church Gist. He obtained for us, not that He is coming to give us. He already obtained it for us as part of our redemptive package in Christ. So it is not our ambition, it is simply a discovery of our birthright. Wealth is not the ambition of believers but a discovery and recovery of our birthright.
Remember we are God’s building, 1 Corinthians 3:9. Every building thrives on a sure foundation. We need a revelation of the foundation of what it means to flow in Kingdom financial fortune. If you hear these things and do them, then you are building this birthright on a sure foundation. Matthew 7:24-25. Let me give you this interesting insight that I came by in 1995 in one of those my studies. Like we have always said here when the purpose of wealth is not known, destruction and perdition are inevitable. Church Gist. Power is quite an asset but there is a caution built around it. It gives some good level of comfort to live in but it can destroy life. You don’t need any witch or wizard, just refuse to take caution and hold what you should not hold and you just go for free. No attack.
There is this famous Edgewater Beach Hotel in Chicago and the meeting of the giants of the world in 1923. They were the world’s most powerful financiers. They controlled the economy of the world. In attendance were men like Charles Schwab, the President of the largest Steel Company; Samuel Insull, the President of the largest Utility Company; Howard Hubson, the President of the largest gas company; they were controlling the world at that time; Arthur Cutten, the greatest wheat speculator; Richard Whitney, the President of the New York Stock Exchange; Albert Fall, a member of the President’s cabinet; Jesse Livermore, the greatest bear on Wall Street; Leon Fraiser, The President of the Bank of International Settlement and Ivar Krueger, The President of the then world’s greatest monopoly. Collectively they controlled more wealth than the United Nations Treasury. So you know how powerful they were. Church Gist. Yet for all their financial experience or expertise, theirs is not a pleasant story for they each came to a bitter end. How bitter? Let’s follow. After living on borrowed money for the last five years of his life, Schwab died penniless. The owner of the largest independent steel company in the world. Insull too died destitute, a fugitive from justice. He ran away to a foreign country. Insanity claimed Hubson, while Cutten died abroad insolvent. Both Richard Whitney and Albert Fall ended up in prison. While Livermore, Fraiser and Krueger all committed suicide.
Covenant constipation is a destroyer. If you don’t know how to give, may you not pray to get. It is destructive. It takes you nowhere, you live under pressure perpetually. Because God tempts no man with evil, that places a limit on how much He can entrust into your hand and my hand. See these great names because they keep records. Here we don’t keep records. They are all private issues but they would have taught some other people a lesson. The book I am talking from is titled ‘The Making Of A Man’. I remember reading this section at night. Men can do without food and water for 40 days. He gets access to water, he can live for 80 days. If you have constipation for 40 days, you will be dead. Completely dead. So the giving grace is the gateway to healthy prosperity. The giving grace is the covenant gateway to healthy abundance. Church Gist. Although the details of their disastrous demise vary from individual to individual, the similarities give us reason to pause and consider. They were addicted to wealth and the power of it. The power it represented and in the end, this was their undoing. Had they heeded the scriptural warning about stocking up wealth without being rich towards God and the affairs of His kingdom and the needy around them, maybe they would have escaped the horror.
To step into the realm of sustainable boom, keep your Kingdom dreams alive and growing. Be content with such things as you have. Listen to me and I am standing before the Highest God, I am not any more comfortable today before God than I was then in the early days of the ministry. I am not any more fulfilled today than I was then. They call it contentment. Contentment is the highway to great gain. ‘I must have. I must have’ you will worship it. These are real life stories you can check it up. Church Gist. They are not there to harass anybody but there is not one sinner under heaven that qualifies to be envied by a covenant child of God because His blessings maketh rich and it adds no sorrow to it. Some folks are flying around the world today, check their home, dry, shattered. Zero! Check their sons and daughters, finished. One of the biggest names today, the son has just become a woman. You know in some places you can choose to become a woman.
I shared a humorous story. One of them when stock goes down, he cuts down his breakfast. Stock goes down then he drops his breakfast from 4 Dollars 60 cents to 2 Dollars 99 cents. “Stock” went down, stomach, shut up. Is that life? Somebody is breaking forth! You’re a seed of Abraham. You’re redeemed to be a blessing to the world. Church Gist. So God has all the things in store but we need to be properly positioned to access them. The larger one’s heart is towards God and the affairs of His kingdom, which includes the poor, the greater his destiny becomes.
God will never give you the size of an elephant’s food if you choose to be a sheep – It will kill you! Because the size of the elephant’s food is more than 2, 3, 4, 5 sheep – you can’t consume it.
– May each one’s giving capacity be enlarged so as to enlarge our coast of blessing.
The larger our giving capacity, the larger our coast of blessings from where you are. I started sending things to my parents from 5 Naira – from where you are! Some don’t even know they have parents – No! When our income was 18,000 plus in 1984 for the whole year, my tithe was there. That tells you the size of the tithe. If you are not faithful in little, you never be adjudged qualified for much – No! Church Gist. You start from where you are. That story gave me complete raw interpretation of 1 Timothy 6:10-11 and the solution came after in verse 17-19. For they that will be rich whose total life is centered on, “I must get wealth,”… you know when people say they make it, it is wealth that they are talking about. When they say that they have it inside by all means – computer scam, drugs, stealing. 1 Timothy 6:17 – this subject here is treated as false security. It’s not real, it’s false.
Check the humanitarian impact of these people – they are not believers but check them, nothing. Valium 30 – can’t sleep. Just to let go – No! Church Gist. Any wealth that does no good will kill the owner. 1 Timothy 6:18-19. So wealth can destroy one’s access to eternal life. John 17:12. Perdition means to miss Heaven. “Ipanrun won pe be”
What am I saying here tonight? All these principles we teach, it all depends on each one’s capacity to let go. God won’t let in what you won’t let go. He does not tempt anybody with evil. Church Gist. Whether you’re a founder, an Apostle or Prophet, there are many people who are poor prophets. They won’t let go! They just sit down collecting and collecting and collecting until there is no more to collect.
I told you the story of a typical elephant which I came by in 1987. This elephant consumes a 140 pounds of straw per day and discharges a 100 pounds of manure per day. You see the percentage? Or you don’t know percentage? Is that 10 per cent? 100 over 140 – count it now. You have calculator; don’t you? That is how to remain a healthy financial elephant – healthy! Church Gist. You discharge to the level of his blessings on your life. You budget your distribution from where you are. At my level I have #10 to help the needy that I will come across this time. I have #20 to help someone buy something to stay healthy. You just budget your life. He taught me very early – I thank God for grace.
– Somebody’s story is changing!
All these self consumption prosperity you’re seeking won’t come because it can kill but this time, you case is different.
– No one shall be financially grounded among us forever!
– You’ll not only be blessed, you will be excited to be a blessing
– Wherever you are, blessing will flow out and it will be in a Christian dimension in the name of Jesus!
Facts to know on the Covenant of Financial Fortune
1. Seeking first the Kingdom of God:
The interest of the Kingdom of God begins with the heart. It’s not jumping about. 1 Kings 8:17. David didn’t have it in his hand but it was in his heart and then it came to his hand. Every genuine kingdom dream that is born of the heart will lead the way to a world of fortune. Psalm 27:8. Church Gist. But it can’t be in your heart without you knowing. 1 Chronicles 28:2-3. You can’t but know what is in your heart. Everybody should know what is in his heart. See this short man (referring to himself) I said in my heart, “if I ever get blessed Jesus, I want to be building you Churches.” I didn’t have one bank account anywhere but it was in my heart. I never saw this Scripture; I was just doing my own thing as a small boy.
It was in my heart to give one of my sons who was going out on a mission a car that would be manageable where he was going in terms of maintenance. I said, “if I just have a Peugeot car, I will like to give this individual.” Church Gist. Following day, Peugeot car came! It was in my heart; what is in your heart? What is the good thing in your heart that will add value to somebody else and promote God’s kingdom? Have you ever entertained a kingdom dream?
This is one vital key to accessing financial fortune in the kingdom. God knows what is in everybody’s heart. 1 Samuel 16:7; Jeremiah 17:9-10. Church Gist. Let’s stop eye service Ephesians 6:6. Everyone also knows what is in their heart. 1 Corinthians 2:11, 2 Corinthians 13:5.
2. One’s heart beat for God is what guarantees his ultimate impact on the Earth:
Not heart beat for things; heart beat for God. 1 Corinthians 2:9. It provides access to divine secrets which makes stars among men. Genesis 41:39; Daniel 2:19. Church Gist. When you’re genuinely in love and your heart beat is beating after God, he unveils his secrets to you that makes stars of men. That’s where it comes from. Job 29:4. Access to divine secrets makes stars.
We have the example of David – a man with a heart for God. He described the death and resurrection of Christ with precision. He was a King not a prophet but had access to the secrets of God. When Jesus came, “Son of David, have mercy on me.” Then the anointing on him comes up – Son of a man that has a heart for God. Church Gist. Bartimaeus cried, “Jesus Son of David, have mercy on me.” He said, “call him. He is calling my correct name.” “What do you want? Your sight? Take your sight.” Matthew 9:27. Now in Heaven, Christ is holding the key of David in Heaven. Can you see the everlasting nature of the impact of any man with a heart for God? That’s you!
– Your generations after you will be referring to the God you serve!
When they were unveiling the mystery of redemption in Revelation 5:4-5, you just find the name going on and on and on. Ultimate impact!
3. When we seek first the expansion and enlargement of the Kingdom of God with our God-given resources …
Everything in your hand and my hand is God-given. 1 Timothy 6:7. You know why you’re earning pay? You are able to go to work. Can you be earning pay on the hospital bed? Do you know how you got that position you are in? You went to school. If you were insane, would you go to school? Wait a minute: what have you and I that we have not received? 2 Corinthians 4:7. Let’s humble ourselves; let’s come down. Let’s humble ourselves. Let’s come down. Everything about you and me is all about grace coming from Him. Of His grace have we all received. But you grumble, you murmur. You make 10,000 sales and you grumble forever until it becomes 1000. You keep complaining until it finishes. God is this my size? Okay! Go and develop your size. Let me see how you can manage it. When we mind the expansion and the enlargement of the kingdom of God as a priority in our resource management, we have touched the heart of God for continuous increase in our lives. It empowers us to walk in financial fortune. The richest man in Bible history never asked for it. God was at the centre of Solomon’s heart at that time before the devil came in and He surrendered to Him. What do you want? He said Lord what a favour you have done for me. Church Gist. Help me not to abuse it. He said you have not asked for the life of your enemies and you have not asked for yourself riches? Haba! The saying pleased God and He added to Him what He did not ask. So it is an addition, it is not a quest. Only fools chase birds that are flying in the air. You can’t catch them. Blessings are coming your way. He said all these blessings will come to you and overtake you. They come to you, not you going after them. When you go after God, they come to you and overtake you. All as a result of your proper covenant positioning. Somebody’s story is changing.
4. Commitment to Kingdom promotion projects guarantees continuous flow of financial blessings.
Haggai 1:3-11. Please mind the Kingdom. It is a mystery, it is not a Church doctrine, it is a mystery that empowers our dominion to the realm of financial fortune. God gave them plenty of gold to carry out of Egypt. When it was time, he said every one of you bring of what I gave you. Gold? Who dash monkey banana? They were fetchers of water and hewers of wood. They didn’t know the meaning of gold except by the favour of God that landed on them and God needed to build His tabernacle. Church Gist. He passed it through them. Some refused to, they held onto their idols and 3,000 men were killed. They were priests. Everyone that offered among them offered an offering of gold. Where did they get it? What God gave them. From what God gave them. Exodus 35:4-5,21-22. How did they get it? Exodus 12:36.
We discover from scriptures that most turnarounds in scriptures were triggered by prophetic interventions. This is a prophetic intervention to rewrite our stories, move us forward and confer authority over our lives. You will have it in the name of Jesus. Moses came down and brought them out of captivity. Church Gist. Hazel came down and humiliated the children of Moab, Seir and all that in 2 Chronicles 20. He always sends prophets to intervene when God’s people are held down in captivity.
As we close tonight, let’s look at two demands for commanding returns on seed sown. We know that the Church is God’s storehouse from where we access our spiritual supplies. Psalm 65:4. Malachi 3:10. Like we were taught the other time, it is not what you give, it is what you pay. It is our responsibility because all the tithes of the land belong to the Lord. Leviticus 27:30. Don’t let anybody teach you otherwise. Let them show you the proof of what they are teaching. Poverty, lack, borrowing, anger and sorrow, they don’t have a proof. Church Gist. The scriptures cannot be broken Sir. There is no new Bible. All these things you are carrying about, you better be careful. I saw that they have tried to squeeze the word ‘fear’ out of the scriptures. I heard somebody reading “God has not given us the spirit of FEAR” as “God has not given us the Spirit of RELIGIOUSITY”. Can you hear that? Because God loves you wherever and whatever you do, is that the Bible? Do you know why? The devil is hiding behind it, he uses fear to torment His captives and to destroy them. So Why won’t they remove it? Why? You say it is Greek. Which Greek? I didn’t know Greek when I saw victory. Jesus is Lord.
So our tithe is ordained to be brought to the storehouse not scattered around. What does it do? It commits God to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing on our lives. We are acknowledging that we received His blessing and He is sending more our way. For anyone who truly desires to build houses for God, He won’t need any advice to pay tithe today. It will be a delight. Church Gist. If he will build houses for homeless people today, he won’t have any problem paying for a one-room apartment for someone who is homeless today. Most of these things are just games people are playing. Let’s be awake. The underlying factor for acceptable stewardship is cheerfulness. Get excited as you do it, don’t carry long faces. He loves a cheerful giver, not a mournful giver. People in Malachi were mournful so there was nothing coming to them. Complaining is not the way out.
In 1977, the Lord showed me Deuteronomy 28:47-48. Serve God with joyfulness. He is not a taskmaster, He is not looking for who to use, He is looking for who to bless. I release the spirit of joy upon you. Your labour shall not be in vain. You will make it to the end. You will make heaven in Grand style. Whatever blessing will block your access to heaven, you won’t have it. I pray for you and I am praying for myself because I am your shepherd as ordained by God. Whatever will take you to a shrine, you won’t get there. Whatever will make you subscribe to the devil as your new god you won’t get there. Church Gist. God has more than all the devils put together. You are going somewhere. The greatest name in the days of Abraham was Abraham; there was no other one. We are Abraham’s seed. So there are nations here under the sound of my voice. Abraham said I will not take anything from you lest you say you made Abraham rich. We don’t take bribes. We don’t give bribes, we look only to God and He is blessing us. As we receive the grace of enlargement of the giving blessing on our life, we will begin to see expansion of your financial coast.
