I PROPHESY TO SOMEONE HERE TODAY, WHEN MEN SAY THEY ARE CAST DOWN, YOU SHALL BE SAYING, THERE’S A LIFTING UP!

IT IS CLEAR THROUGH SCRIPTURES THAT WE SERVE THE GOD OF SUPERNATURAL SUPPLIES

GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH WITHOUT ANY LOAN FROM THE BANK

THERE ARE HUMAN BEINGS WHO ARE GOOD TO YOU AT SOME TIMES BUT GOD IS GOOD TO YOU ALL THE TIME

IN THIS SEASON OF SCARCITY IN OUR LAND AND IN OUR NATION, SOMEBODY IS ABOUT TO EXPERIENCE SUPPLIES FROM PLACES YOU HAVE NEVER IMAGINED IT COULD COME FROM

GOD IS THE GOD OF SUPERNATURAL SUPPLIES FROM UNBELIEVABLE SOURCES

MANY TIMES, WE ARE LIMITED BECAUSE WE ARE LOOKING UNTO THE SOURCES WE ARE FAMILIAR WITH

IF GOD CAN BRING MONEY OUT OF THE MOUTH OF A FISH, WHERE CAN HE NOT BRING SUPPLY FROM?

AT THE WEDDING IN CANA OF GALILEE, GOD TURNED  H2O (WATER) INTO C6H12O6 (GLUCOSE-BASED WINE) BY MULTIPLYING H2O BY 6, AND THEN ADDED THE CARBON, C6

HE MULTIPLIED WHAT THEY HAD AND ADDED WHAT THEY LACKED

CONTINUALLY LOOKING UP TO GOD IS THE SECRET OF THRIVING IN ALL SEASONS

IT’S A GREAT MISTAKE TO REDUCE YOUR COVENANT PRACTICE WHEN TIMES ARE BAD.

THE BEST TIME TO PRACTICE THE COVENANT IS WHEN IT IS DIFFICULT TO PRACTICE IT

TO BE OUT OF THE COVENANT IS TO BE OUT OF THE COVERING AGAINST THE ADVERSE CLIMATES OF LIFE

DIVINE DIRECTION WOULD ALWAYS PROVOKE DIVINE PROVISION

WHEN THINGS ARE DRYING UP AROUND YOU, NEVER ALLOW YOUR JOY TO DRY. OTHERWISE, WHEN THE JOY DRIES, EVERYTHING DRIES UP COMPLETELY

GRATITUDE IS A BREAKER OF HARD GROUNDS IN TIMES OF ADVERSITY

– Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche on “SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY IN TIMES OF UNCERTAINTY AND SCARCITY” || Sunday First Service || Glory Dome, Abuja.

Philippians 4:15-19. I’m speaking on the subject “Supernatural supply in times of uncertainty and scarcity”. Church Gist. Our objective is to understand the God of supernatural supply and then understanding the secrets of supply in times of uncertainty and scarcity/austerity.

It is clear through Scriptures that we serve the God of supernatural supplies who enacted the covenant of supernatural supply. Church Gist. He created the Heavens and the earth without any loan from the bank. He stuffed the earth with resources, inexhaustible resources that we can never exhaust in our lifetime on the earth. Church Gist. Scripture is littered with examples of His Supply capacity even in adverse and uncertain times. Like you know, we are in a country today where the times are so uncertain, where scarcity and shortage is everywhere.

Going through this subject, we are going to look at it and understand the God we serve under about 6-7 headings.

1. God is a covenant provider and supplier. He is the God of covenant provision and supplies. Genesis 8:20-22. That’s covenant. Church Gist. For as long as there’s the seedtime, there will be the harvest time. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7. So, God is the covenant provider and supplier. He is covenant-bound to provide and supply.

2. God is the God of supernatural supplies in adverse times. There are human beings who are good to you at some times but God is good to you all the time. Psalm 33:18-19. Church Gist. That is, you’re not permitted to be swallowed by any famine on earth; you’re not permitted to be consumed by any scarcity on the earth; you’re not permitted to be devoured when others are devoured. Church Gist. He is the God of supernatural supplies in adverse times.

3. God is the God who prospers His covenant people in times of famine. We are going to see how God prospered His covenant people in times of famine. Our example in this service is Abraham. Genesis 12:10; Genesis 13:1-2. Abraham was very rich in the midst of farming. Church Gist. People were struggling for what to eat and drink, and in the middle, Abraham was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

– somebody say Amen! Somebody say, “The covenant works!”

You look at the life of Jacob; there was a terrible famine if you remember the story of Jacob and his children in the land of Canaan. Church Gist. When Jacob sent his children to go to the land of Egypt to look for food and they met Joseph and Joseph interacted with them, recognized them and decided to return their money back to them. When they returned back home, everyone of them saw their money in the mouth of their sacks and so on and so forth. Now, when they returned back, Joseph had held back Benjamin. Church Gist. Now, look at what happened when Jacob was sending them back to Egypt in Genesis 43:11-12. This is how God works in the midst of adversity. He is the God who prospered His covenant people, took care of them in the midst of scarcity, and we are not just talking about God who just did that, He also protects.

– I prophesy to someone here today, in the name that is above every name, Jesus the resurrected Lord, when men say they are cast down, you shall be saying, there’s a lifting up!

Now, I read something many years ago. It said, in times like this, it is important to know that there have always been times like this. Church Gist. There’s nothing new under the sun. The kind of scarcity and shortage we have experienced, Abraham experienced it in his time, but he didn’t feel it. Jacob experienced it in his time, he didn’t feel it. Church Gist. Others experienced them in history, the kind of tension, insecurity and all the things we see. Philippians 4:19.

– look at your neighbour and say, “nothing is new under the sun. There have always been times like this”.

That is why He said, no temptation has taken you except what is common to man.

– look at your neighbour, say, “It is common, whatever you have seen, whatever you have experienced, whatever the devil is saying around you, it is common”.

1 Corinthians 10:13.

4. God is the God of supernatural supplies from unbelievable sources. Church Gist. He can supply supernaturally from unbelievable sources – places and sources you never believed that supplies can come from. For example;

4a. He brought water from the rock and manna from above for Israel in the wilderness. psalm 78:19-29. God is the God of supernatural supplies from unbelievable sources. Church Gist. Water from the rock, manna from above, quills from the sea. Many times, we are limited because we are looking on to the sources we are familiar with, we are looking on to avenues we can calculate. Church Gist. We calculate that if something must happen, this is where it can happen from. But He said, “I can give you supply from sources you can’t believe”.

– I decree, in this season of scarcity in our land and in our nation, somebody is about to experience supplies from places you have never imagined it could come from!” Something is about to happen to you from a quarter, from an angle, from a source you never believed possible. Church Gist. God, who is the God of supplies from unbelievable places is about to blow your mind!

– you believe that, shout the loudest Amen!

– look at your neighbour, say, “It shall happen! From places you never believed. From places you didn’t think possible”.

4b. Peter’s catch of the fish with the coin. Nobody knew that God could supply Peter and the Master, tax money from a fish’s mouth. Matthew 17:27. Church Gist. If God can bring money out of the mouth of a fish, where can He not bring supply from? Church Gist. How many of you are going to say today, ‘I refuse to limit God in my life. Anything positive can happen to me and for me from anywhere at all!”.

5. God is the God of supernatural multiplication of resources. Apart from supplying from unbelievable sources, He has the capacity to multiply what you have. We saw that in the widow of Zarephath. 1 Kings 17:13-16. Church Gist. Food multiplied, the food refused to finish and it just continued to multiply. When we married newly, we experienced something like this. Before our first child was born, somebody brought us food, I think it was a bag of rice and we decided to tithe out of it and gave to people. Church Gist. Now, we began to eat the rice, it couldn’t finish, it just could not finish. It came to a point where we became afraid, so we had to dash the whole thing. We carried the balance and gave it out (laughs). What kind of finish-less food is this? Church Gist. It couldn’t finish, as if it was a bottomless pit, the more you fetched it, the more it remained. What you see in Scripture is true. We serve the God of supernatural multiplication.

– I announce to someone here today, in this season, you’re going to experience multiplication like never before!

Our second example, of course you know the transformation of water to wine in the wedding of Cana of Galilee. That was a multiplication miracle. Some may not understand but it was a multiplication miracle. In John 2:5-11, we saw how they needed wine, long story made short, they brought the water and the water turned to wine. Church Gist. I told you the chemistry before, water is H2O and wine, if it is glucose based is C6H12O6, that is the chemical formula of anything that is sweet and glucose based. So, He turned H2O into C6H12O6. You can see H2O inside this C6H12O6, just that you multiply it by 6. If you multiply H2O by 6, it gives you H12O6 and then the C6. Church Gist. So, He multiplied what they had and added what they lacked. He multiplied the water and added the carbon. That was the miracle that happened there. It was a multiplication plus addition miracle. That is how God functions; He will multiply what you have and add what you lack. Church Gist. Everytime. If you have it, He multiplies it, if you lack it, He adds it.

– somebody say a loud Amen!

– that is a multiplication miracle and what I’m saying right now shall be fulfilled in accuracy in the life of somebody in this season! In our nation, God is about to multiply the good things we have and add the good things we lack! Church Gist. In your personal life and family, God is about to multiply the good things you have and add the good things that you lack!

– lift your hands and say, “I serve the God of supernatural multiplication. He’s about to multiply something in my life!”

– shout the loudest Amen.

How do we experience supernatural supplies in times of uncertainty, adversity, scarcity and austerity?

1. Continually look up to God. Maintain confidence in God continually in adverse times. Jeremiah 17:5-8. Psalm 34:5. Church Gist. Listen, continually looking up to God is the secret of thriving in all seasons. Continually looking up to God is the secret of thriving instead of drying up, in all seasons.

2. Active covenant practice. Genesis 8:22. Adversity and scarcity, not withstanding. Laws are laws under all circumstances. 2+2 is 4 in rainy season and dry season. 2+2 is 4 in English language, 2+2 is 4 in urhobo language. Church Gist. Language does not change it, season does not change; principles are principles under all conditions; laws are laws under all circumstances. I want to say this, there are people who reduce their covenant practice, maybe because times are bad. There’s a great mistake. Church Gist. The best time to practice the covenant is when it is difficult to practice it. That was what Elijah taught the widow of Zarephath; “I am about to eat the last meal and die”, he said, “no, no. Don’t eat it and die. Release out of what you want to eat and die and you will realize that you can’t die because you released it”. Church Gist. Please note that the covenant is a covering against the adverse climates of life. So, to be out of the covenant is to be out of the covering. When times are hard, when situations are tough and you say, “I cannot do the things that I normally do anymore. I can’t put God first in my resources anymore. I cannot do my practice of givings anymore”. When you’re out of the covenant, you’re out of the coverings of the covenant. Church Gist. It’s a covering against the adverse climates of life. Active covenant practice is key to thriving in adverse times. Evidence is superior to argument, we are talking of what we have proved for 30-something years now.

3. Connection to Divine direction in adverse times. “What is God saying to me? What should I do?” Divine direction, especially in adversity is key to Divine provision. Church Gist. That is, God speaking to you, guiding you, what to do, steps to take, moves to make, where to invest and divest. Divine direction, ‘This is where to put the money, this is where to pull out the money from’, in adverse times. 1 Kings 17:13-17. 1 Kings 17:3-6. Church Gist. Divine direction would always provoke Divine provision.

– I speak to someone here today, in this season we are in, may God cause you to hear His voice!

The voice of God can bring you provision and preservation. Church Gist. The voice of God can rescue from premature termination of life.

– I announce to you today, in the season we are in, may God cause you to hear His voice! May no devil take you by surprise!

4. Maintaining the attitude of gratitude and praise in times of adversity. Everytime joy dries up, everything dries up. Joel 1:11-12. When things are drying up around you, never allow your joy to dry. Otherwise, when the joy dries, everything dries up completely. In John 6:11-12, when Jesus had 5 loaves and 2 fishes, He irrigated it with thanks and praise and it multiplied. Church Gist. Out of 5 loaves and 2 fishes, food for 5,000 men besides women and children was made available until 5 baskets were filled. Listen, gratitude is a breaker of hard grounds in times of adversity. It breaks hard grounds. Church Gist. The Scripture talks about, “The breaker has come and they have broken through”, one of those breakers is gratitude, appreciations and praise. When things are hard and difficult and you’re still able to praise God, then you’re set to break grounds and to step into your destiny.

– it’s a new day for somebody! Can that somebody say a loud Amen!
