We have been exploring the features of the last days which are the days in which we live and I believe you are positioning yourself to maximize the privilege of being a partaker of this golden age of the church, you will not be left behind in the name of Jesus.
Jesus breathe on all of us afresh this morning and let your light break forth into our hearts. Church Gist. Let it open new chapters into our lives and let your name be glorified.
The last days began on the day of Pentecost. Acts 2:17. It began then and we are now in the end of times, which we call end times. Among other things, all prophetic words spoken since the World began must be fulfilled before Jesus returns. Among these prophetic pillars is the fact that Jesus will not return until the Church is in charge. Psalm 110:1-3. The last days are the reigning days of the Church. By wisdom kings reign and princes decree justice. Proverbs 8:15-16. That means we are in the days of supernatural wisdom. We are in the days of supernatural wisdom because we are in the reigning days of the church and by wisdom kings reign and principles decree justice. Church Gist. We are in the supernatural wisdom days of the Church that will enthrone the Church on the earth. Please listen very intensely, the Church shall begin to grow in strength and that implies growing in wisdom. Because wisdom is better than strength. Ecclesiastes 9:14-16. Wisdom is better than weapons of war. Proverbs 21:22. Psalm 110:1-3. So God will be sending the rod of wisdom out of the Church, rule thou in the midst of thy enemies.
Now please listen, Joseph by wisdom ascended the throne of Egypt. Daniel by wisdom took over the kingdom of Babylon – the strongest kingdom of his days. God is saying there shall be a heavy manifestation of supernatural wisdom in the Church that will empower the Church to reign on the earth. Church Gist. These were all young people. Daniel 1:17. So it is not about age. Four children – Daniel, Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego. So you are in the right position to access this wisdom. I like you to be very intent as you hearken this morning.
There are four kinds of wisdom recognized in scriptures. James 3:15-17.
– Earthly wisdom or call it natural wisdom. You are born with it, you don’t go to school to learn it. A baby wants to wee, he does not open his mouth. He wants to eat, he does not put the nipple of the mother’s breast in the air. It came with him. Common sense, earthly wisdom. He wants to crawl, he does not put his back on the floor. Church Gist. He wants to walk, he is not taking two legs at a time.
– Sensual wisdom or intellectual wisdom. The one acquired in school or through training.
– Devilish or diabolical wisdom
– The wisdom from above. It comes along with peace. It is not hardened, easy to be entreated. Full of mercy, there is no wickedness in it. It is from above. John 3:31. So it is obviously above all other forms of wisdom. It is not limited to a discipline. Church Gist. It covers all aspects of life. Ephesians 3:8-11. The Amplified Bible describes that as the many-sided wisdom of God in all its innumerable aspects and infinite varieties covering all aspects of life. All the princes of nations will surrender to that wisdom.
When Daniel came down with that wisdom, he was heard of by astrologers, Chaldeans and all those folks Daniel 5:11. He’s coming in and they are bowing, that’s the order of wisdom reserved for this Endtime- Ordained for all of the chosen generations of God’s people and we are the product of His predestination chosen before the foundation of the world. Church Gist. And every child of God is a chosen brand in his generation, it is not that there is one new generation that somebody is shouting about. So one major characteristic of this Endtime is access to this manifold Wisdom of God that empowers believers to rule on the earth and subdue all principalities and powers in Heavenly places.
The days of greater than Solomon are here Matthew 12:42, Luke 11:31, John 17:18. So inside of you is that wisdom pack that is greater than the one deposited into Solomon. And it shall begin to find expression as you begin to improve on the quality of your walk with God Proverbs 13:20. We are in the days of greater than Solomon and we are the ones that He is talking about! Church Gist. The days of creative wisdom of God are here Proverb 8:12, the days of witty inventions are here by access to manifold wisdom of God reserved for this Endtime. You put fifty thousand people in the Faith Tabernacle and nobody is choking! The reigning days of the Church are here, the days of many sided wisdom of God are here Psalm 104:94, Proverbs 3:19.
Now, let me take time and introduce you to the Book of Ultimate Wisdom. When we are saved we have qualified access to it because He obtained for us when He obtained for us power, riches, wisdom, strength, glory, honour and blessings Revelation 5:12- We have qualified access for it but where can it be found? Church Gist. It is one thing to know what you are looking for and another thing to know where it can be found. You don’t go to Ota market to look for aircraft spare parts! No! You may find vegetables, tomatoes or even wood there!
Now let’s go to this Prophetic Celebration of Wisdom in Job 28:7-14. This Wisdom is not found in the land of the living! Harvard University does not have it and you have never seen it. No! It’s out of this world! Job 28:14. You can’t get to buy this Wisdom Job 28:19. Church Gist. There is no natural realm that can access it, researchers cannot locate it Job 28:20-21-23. We saw how Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into the fire and how they came out! Wisdom!
We saw how Daniel went to the lion’s den and came out! Wisdom! So He prepared and delivered them (Wisdom) in a Volume called the Bible Isaiah 34:16. How did He prepare them? He passed them through the fire for seven times Psalms 12:6, Job 28:28, Proverbs 9:10, Psalm 111:10. Have you not heard? Joseph said, ‘But I fear God’! Genesis 42:17-18. Church Gist. And Pharaoh said, ‘As much as God has shown you all these, there is no one as wise and discrete as thou are Genesis 41:38. From Genesis 42:18, we saw that, that is where the devil is trying to capture innocent young people, causing them to live anyhow- Talking chaff to block your access to this Treasure which is the only way to secure your place in this Endtime.
You saw in the life of Daniel where the Bible said that they could not find anything against him Daniel 6:4-5. So men that operate in this wisdom are people that operate in the fear of God as a lifestyle to please God in their desire. They don’t assume things, they are sensitive to what offends God and they want to stay off it, so don’t sell off your birthright to a morsel of meat. Church Gist. While Salvation qualifies our access to God’s Wisdom, the fear of God is what secures that access- We become eligible by Salvation but we gain access through the fear of the Lord.
These four boys purposed in their hearts not to defile themselves and they became ten times better than their colleagues Daniel 1:8. Access is open by redemption but entrance demands the fear of God. So this Book (The Bible) is the Book of Ultimate Wisdom Psalms 19:7-8, Psalms 119:97-100, Timothy 3:15. Church Gist. To enjoy your redemptive rights, the Holy Scriptures must make you wise. I stopped counting when I counted thirty-three Bibles that I had used before these machines came. The Bibles had marks to the extent that you can’t even read them, it has been overmarked.
I was in one meeting at the University of Ife, Osun State Nigeria many years ago and then in that facility, the light was dim due to maintenance problems and the pew was high and I was to speak to these folks. As I stood before them, one of them said, you quoted sixty-two Scriptures verbatim, do you cram them? And I said, ‘No! I eat them, they enter my body through assimilation’! Jeremiah 15:16. They brought my iPad now, I have been speaking before they bought it, if they don’t come, nothing changes. It’s in my system! This Book (The Bible) makes one wise! Church Gist.The more intimate you become with this Book, the wiser you become! Yes! It’s your right but where can it be found? It’s found in This Book? Paul, who was a channel for writing some of the New Testament, talks about his understanding of the mysteries of the Kingdom of God Ephesians 3:1-5, so this heavy-weight wisdom came through his addiction to the Word.

Settle down and stop playing guile around town, you have a life to live! 1 John 2:14. This Book (The Bible) is the sweetest guide of destiny, error-proof! As soon as you are born again, your Spirit man gains the capacity to access whatever that is here (In the Bible) Mark 4:11, John 10:27. I was 16 years old when I heard that it is good for a young man to bear his yoke as a youth, then I knelt down and prayed, ‘Jesus, let me bear my yoke when I am a youth, I don’t want to carry luggage when I am old’! The year that followed my Salvation, I was 16 years old when I knew that I had been redeemed as a priest and a king to reign on the earth Revelation 5:10 and immediately, I began to wear a royal cloak, royalty became my consciousness. Anytime I want to go out, I will check, will a king go out like this? Let me go and change. And now, you wear clothes like a garage boy! That’s not royalty, that’s captivity and slavery! Can you dress like that for an interview? You are treading off your place in eternity by careless living!
Even Pastors today tear their jeans all in the name of liberty which is captivity in disguise. You don’t have a second chance for a first impression, wake up and begin to live as the child of the King that you are!- As a son that is entitled to be given authority if he behaves well. Samuel gave authority to his two sons but they did not behave well. ‘You know that your sons are not working, they are taking bribes everywhere, give us a king! We don’t need them’! Church Gist. So you have to behave well to be a son with authority! Don’t talk chaff in town and say, ‘You know I’m a child of God! At 19 years old, I knew that no weapon formed against me shall prosper and every tongue that rises against me, I shall condemn- I won’t wait for God to do it Isaiah 54:17, it’s my heritage!
At 22 years old as I mentioned, I knew that my future is in God’s plan not in my plan, so I rendered my aspirations to Him, ‘Carry on Jesus! You own me and all I will ever be! Whatever you say is final in my life’. At 22 years old, my life got a bearing from Matthew 6:33 which is the jackpot of my life till tomorrow ‘! Church Gist. I was 22 years old when Jesus unveiled to me my anchor of life. Not one Word that He spoke has failed. This Book (The Bible) is the wisdom bank of life! No powers of hell can stop This Wisdom from having its way! Destruction and death said, ‘We have tried all we could but we can’t handle them’!
-No one among us shall die before our time! No one will die young, if Jesus tarries, you will see your children and grandchildren! You shall have peace upon your lineage!
How do I access the Wisdom treasure in this Book (The Bible)?
We have already mentioned and emphasised it over and again.
1. Make the fear of God your new lifestyle.
Consciously hate what God hates and enjoy what pleases Him. Be deliberate about it! And like Joseph and Daniel, you will find this wisdom flowing in your life. 1 Thessalonians 2:10. Our behaviour matters! 2 Peter 3:15-16.
2. Maintain an undying quest for learning Proverbs 1:5, Proverbs 9:9
We saw Daniel, a man who is unusually endowed with wisdom and we saw that displayed in Daniel chapters 2-5. The Bible says in Daniel 9:2, “I Daniel understood by books”. We saw Paul a man with an unusual endowment of the spirit of wisdom, he said “The books that I left with you at Troas, when thou cometh bring them with you” (2 Timothy 4:13). Church Gist. Especially my note. I took this note 14th of March, I am on page 163 of it. Undying quest! Stop reading to preach, read to live. Church Gist. A wise man shall inherit glory. Proverbs 3:35. No endowment is a substitute for continuous learning.
3. Engage your spirit man in your search in this book.
Proverbs 20:27. Isaiah 26:9. Luke 15:8-9. She sweeps thoroughly with her candle. Sweep with your spirit man, searching for access to the wisdom from heaven on any given matter. Church Gist. This is the fountain of ultimate wisdom. Luke 11:49. What was he talking about? The Bible. Just referencing scriptures and he calls it the wisdom of God. It is your turn.
4. Engage the Holy Spirit in the search.
John 14:26. That is the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 2:13. That is your access.
As I close, the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men. 1 Corinthians 1:25-31. Church Gist. So it is not about expertise from somewhere it is about access to this raw, ever value-adding wisdom of God.
His wisdom comes as instructions. Proverbs 1:7. Proverbs 15:33. This book is a book of instructions, it is not a book of suggestions. It is not a book of admonitions and advice, it is a book of instructions. 1 Timothy 3:16. So the wisdom pack here comes through as principles. As reproofs, as corrections and as instructions. 75 per cent instructions and 25 per cent principles. If you don’t like instructions, you won’t like this book. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God” (Matthew 6:33) is not a suggestion. It is an instruction if you are interested. “Thou shall serve the Lord thy God” (Exodus 23:25) it is not a suggestion, it is an instruction. I don’t have time, good luck. You don’t have time to have blessings on your bread and your water. Church Gist. You don’t have time to stay healthy and strong, you don’t have time to overcome barrenness and abortion of labour, abortion of the body and all of those things. They go from strength to strength, every one of them that appears in Zion. It is an instruction. Hey boy, if you want to grow from strength to strength stay glued to fellowship. Don’t pull your shoulders as if you need nothing. They come as instructions. “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse” (Malachi 3:10) is an instruction. You don’t need to buy into it. Do you buy everything you see in town? No! You buy what you are interested in, if you have the means. It is a book of instructions, it is a manual for profitable living. You don’t argue with the instructions manual if you want to enjoy your machine. Follow the instructions. Church Gist. It is the instructions of this book that makes high-fliers in the Kingdom. The instructions contained here are what makes high fliers. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. Your views are irrelevant, your opinions are uncalled for. Your likes and dislikes are irrelevant. They come as instructions, not suggestions, not advice.
That is the wisdom that endures. Any endowment of wisdom that is not anchored on scriptures has no future. When you disanchor your ‘wisdom’ from scriptures, it becomes foolishness like you have Solomon. The Word is the anchor of the wisdom that endures. Church Gist. Ever winning, ever conquering, ever reigning wisdom is the wisdom that anchors on the Word, comes from the Word and is anchored on the Word.
Lift your two hands and ask God for grace to remain properly positioned in these last days. To make the most of this heritage – the heritage of the manifold wisdom of God.
Just like you can’t wish your faith to grow, you build your faith to grow. You build your faith on revelation. You can’t wish to grow in wisdom, you learn to grow in wisdom. Yesterday, I taught you about Vision. These are a compilation of the books I have written on Vision till date. It is online, if you are interested, go for it. There is a book my friend Mike Murdock commented on, Walking in Wisdom. I heard him say “This is the best book I have seen written on Biblical wisdom”. Wake up and read. I read quite a few and I am still reading. Wake up and read, don’t assume wisdom. Acquire it. Church Gist. These are the compilation of the volumes on wisdom. Lay hold on to this. You have amazing resources in your commission that you will be wandering around the town not knowing what to do. I go to pray and fast to read a book. That is how I read my way out of poverty into prosperity. Not that you sit on your bed and you are with ten telephones. ‘Hello, I am trying to read something that Papa said we should read. Don’t disturb me, I said I am reading, all of you have been calling and calling’. Did they force you to take it? Some even plug their phones in their ears when they are praying so how will you hear from God because you are waiting to hear from your friend? I was in a three-day fast reading Copeland’s book and Gloria Copeland’s book when heaven broke open and I screamed “Ye! I can never be poor”. Light broke out. You better read your way out of mediocrity. Get out and get up to the limelight. So take your time.
Can I share this with you, my wife said this to me one time when I returned from one trip to America, “what did you bring?” I said come! Come! Come! She came to my study room and I opened the first box – books, the second box – books, third one – books. What else? I said this is all else. If I could grasp the content of these books, it can make me a manufacturer of the things I would have bought. Can I wish to live in any other country of the world now? No! When did I stop wishing so? When I found from the Word that God is no respecter of colour or race or nation. Church Gist. For in every nation, anyone that knows Him will generate the same impact. Over to you. One of my mentors said, “A lizard cannot become an alligator in America“. If you are a lizard in Nigeria, if you go to America, you are still a lizard. There is nowhere you go that changes your nature, there has to be a change from the inside first.
Grace to take responsibility to grow in wisdom as a hallmark of these last days, receive it.
I decree a release of an understanding heart.
I decree that every junk blocking anyone’s access to this heavenly treasure be cleared off today.
I pray that no one will sell his birthright for a morsel of meat. Church Gist.
In the name of Jesus, your throne will not be sold out for a morsel of meat.
In the name of Jesus, you never become a wandering star.
Wisdom will direct the step of your path in the name of Jesus Christ.
So shall it be in Jesus’ name.
