I am speaking on a subject this morning, the first time I will be doing that. It is captioned ENLISTMENT IN THE LIFELONG SCHOOL OF DIVINE WISDOM. The lifelong school of divine wisdom from where no man graduates. Church Gist. Ecclesiastes 4:13. I like you to receive grace to enlist. The day you think you graduate, you begin to degenerate. Lord give us the grace to enlist in this lifelong school of divine wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ.
Romans 11:33. Oh the depth! Unsearchable depth. We just keep searching more and more, the more we search there is more to search. Why do we need it? Isaiah 33:6. Some have changed levels forward. First level, second level and have changed levels backwards. Two forward, three backwards. One of my close individuals came to me last week. I just ran into him in the lobby of the office and he said, ‘I don’t know what happened, Sir. The church crashed from 500 to 10.’ Wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times. It didn’t drop that way the same day. 500 to 400, you don’t check what is going on. Church Gist. 400 to 200, you have refused to check, 200 to 100 and then what! Isaiah 33:6. The fear of the Lord is our access to this treasure. Anyone’s enlistment will be terminated where the fear of God stops. The fear of God is the only way to register in that school and to remain there. Proverbs 9:10. Psalm 111:10. Ministry cannot enjoy stability without wisdom. It is cheaper to attain success than to sustain it. It is quite a feat to capture a baby lion, it is a little cat today but to watch it grow without taking appropriate steps, it will eat you up. Many have been eaten up by success because they don’t know how to sustain it. A hunter that captures a baby lion has accomplished a feat, it is on the front page but to watch it grow without applying appropriate strategies, it can be devastating or to say it raw destructive.
We are in the Wisdom era of the Church. April 19th 1995, after going through the book of Proverbs, the Lord said to me ‘The Church is in her wisdom era. Wisdom era. The waves of heaven’s wisdom are coming upon the Church’ How do I know? Micah 4:1-2. The Church will be teaching the world, the way to go. The end time Church will become the seat of heaven’s Wisdom of the earth. The world will be looking for solutions from the Church. It is not the wisdom of Microbiology or ICT or Engineering or Architecture, those are all lower realms of wisdom. That is not where it is.
Proverbs 24:3. The House of the Lord shall be exalted, so there will be a release of Heaven’s wisdom that will be building God’s House to be above what the world knows, so the world will start looking for the wisdom of the Church to run. Church Gist. When trouble comes, they will know where to go. They found Joseph in prison while looking for a solution.
-The world will be looking for solution providers from the Church.
It is repeated verbatim in Isaiah 2:2-3. Many people will say, ‘Let’s put pride aside and go to the House of the God of Jacob so they can teach us His ways- ‘These people (God’s people) don’t feel the heat that I am feeling, what’s going on there? They are men and women from different planets’. Why? Because they are the only people smiling on the street. ‘What have you found’?
Please watch! We are in a Prophetic valley this morning, many dry bones will bounce back to life Proverbs 24:3. The Endtime Church will be in possession of precious and pleasant riches, ‘The silver is mine to build the House and the gold is mine’ says the Lord. Church Gist. That tells you the wisdom waves that will be released upon the Endtime Church in building this House Proverbs 9:1. This is not a human agenda, the Bible defines it as the eternal purpose of God which is purposed in Christ before the world began Ephesians 3:8-11.
Heavy wisdom that will humble principalities and powers not just human beings – The Bible calls it in Amplified Bible, ‘The complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its innumerable aspects and infinite varieties’ – Taking over every sphere of life Ephesians 3:10 (AMPC), so it’s not this things that we are talking about. Church Gist. You are managing five hundred people and you are struggling, you are sweating, no! The complicated wisdom! That is, you can’t find it here. There is no Financial Research Institution where you can unravel the happenings in this Commission yet it is not abracadabra – Covenant wisdom Proverbs 3:17. But please get it, it is the eternal purpose of God which is purposed in Christ Jesus Isaiah 14:24.
Forget about political gang-ups and small small things, zero!! Until they can stop the Sun from shining, they can’t stop divine purpose Isaiah 14:27. Church Gist. We are talking about God’s eternal purpose for the Endtime Church, the release of the deluge of Heaven’s wisdom that will humble witches and wizards, principalities and powers – Get them on their knees. The Endtime Church shall become a wisdom wonder of the world. What wisdom is this! That was the exclamation that defined Jesus’ Ministry Matthew 13:54.
The Endtime Church is being built till we come into the fullness of the stature of Christ! It’s a building-up, when the world will begin to say, ‘What wisdom is this’? Ephesians 4:13. It shall be said of the Endtime Church, ‘This man was born there, that man was born there’, The Almighty Himself shall establish her Psalms 87:5. Church Gist. There is no single government finger on this ground yet we have never had power outage since 1999, there is no breaking in of robbers. The Almighty Himself shall establish her! Watch out! We are in the world, we are not of the world! Psalms 87:1-7.
There are no finish lines in the School of divine wisdom. Abraham Lincoln once said, ‘I don’t think much of a man who is not wiser today like he was yesterday Proverbs 9:9, Proverbs 1:5. Church Gist. We have an example of Daniel, a man that is uniquely endowed Daniel 1:17. And God revealed to Daniel an impossible secret that made Nebuchadnezzar to bow down and worship him; he became a wisdom bank of the kingdom of Babylon Daniel 2:19, Daniel 5:11-12, Daniel 6:3.
There are no finish lines in the school of divine wisdom, that’s why it’s a school of lifelong learning. T.L. Osborn said, ‘When you stop learning, you start dying’. Young people in the Ministry, you better wake up, you are in the A, B, C class of wisdom. You know that Creche pupils also wear graduation gowns, they say, ‘Why’? ‘He’s moving to Primary one’ (Laughing). We have the example of Paul, a man endowed like Daniel of the Old Testament with wisdom 2 Peter 3:15b. He had a lot of depth about God which was not revealed in ages past Ephesians 3:1-5, 2 Timothy 4:13.
There are no finishing lines in the school of wisdom. There’s nothing wrong with a second degree, third degree and fourth degree, it’s not part of what we are talking about. Church Gist. Divine wisdom does not wait for solutions – It creates them. Proverbs 8:12; Genesis 1:2. Proverbs 3:19; Psalms 104: 24.
The Bible recognizes 4 kinds of wisdom. James 3:14-17. Can I tell you something? Nobody’s success is the reason for another man’s failure. The sky is so wide for 2 birds to collide. Church Gist. There is room for everybody in space. We have billions of birds in the air yet it hasn’t darkened the Sun. Get off bitter envyings and strivings; it’s not part of your baggage – that’s excess luggage.
We had a Church by us in those days in New Era Road. It’s a dwarf fence that divides us. Not one disturbed the other. We were there together 1989 to 1992. The other Church came and said, “Please teach us about Church growth,” and we taught the Pastor. Church Gist. This Church was growing, the other one was growing. We started second service, they started second service. We moved to our site, they moved to their site. A lot of schemers in Church going about with nonsense!
James 3:15.
1. Sensual, natural, common sense: You don’t teach a baby where to put the nipple of the mother’s breast. He doesn’t put that in the air. He grabs feeding bottle – to the mouth.

It has power over the category 2 and 1 to manipulate at will. Church Gist. When you’re intelligent it can turn you to madness.
4. The wisdom from above – supreme wisdom. It has power over principalities and powers – devilish wisdom. We tormented those foul forces on this ground.
They brought someone to my office some years back, PhD from Harvard – mental. I was going to pray for a challenged person who was mentally derailed within the family setting and the Lord said, “Don’t!” I said, what is it Lord? Church Gist. “You were meant to be in that situation so it back fired.” “Why will this man be … Let’s turn him upside down.” (The Lord) said, “Okay, I turn you upside down.”
The greatest challenge in the school of wisdom is the Laodicean syndrome – I am rich and have need for nothing. Not knowing that you are poor and wretched and blind. Church Gist. Revelation 3:17-18. Compared with what God has in store for you, you and I are no where now. The Church is largely a victim of the Laodicean syndrome saying they don’t need any more. Why? He’s got Masters degree in Church Administration – and it’s not working.
Category 4 of wisdom is where you belong. Let me tell you how you belong there:
Everything produces after its kind. A dog does not need to go for training to bark – it’s in the wisdom of the dog. Church Gist. A sheep does not go to school to learn how to bleat. It’s part of its nature. A child of a man does not need to go to school to know where to wee wee (urinate). The wisdom of man is in him.
So when you become a child of God, the wisdom of God resides in you and it is the wisdom from above. Church Gist. It’s your birth right. Matthew 11:19. You become a child of God, you access the wisdom of God naturally.
At salvation Jesus comes into your heart. Revelation 3:20. Jesus is said to be the wisdom and the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:24. The wisdom of God comes to reside in you and me at salvation.
Again we try to define what you carry – your wisdom potential in redemption:
Colossians 1:27. Christ in all his wisdom resides in you – that sparks hope of a great future.
Colossians 2:3. Church Gist. In you and me dwells all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge as contained in Christ who dwells in us. John 1:3; Revelation 5:12. So with all the stuff we now have the mind of Christ.
But this treasure has to be stirred to manifest – that’s where the problem has been. It is in you and me but it requires to be stirred to manifest. Church Gist. 2 Timothy 1:6-7. It must have to be stirred and that’s why we enlist in the school of life long learning in divine wisdom.
What are the tools for the stirring of this treasure?
If you have a cup of tea and maybe you use sugar and you put some granules of sugar inside it but it’s not stirred, you will tasting sugar-less tea while the sugar is resting at the bottom of the cup. Church Gist. Many sweet destinies are just tasteless because of lack of stirring of the treasure that gives it taste. If you just dump salt in your soup and you don’t stir it, you will have to cope with saltless soup because it’s not stirred. Church Gist. The salt is staying in one corner and you’re taking your soup in another corner, goodluck.
– there’s a recovery of the taste of your life.
So, the first tool for stirring is the Word, which is defined as the rod. Isaiah 11:1-2. Revelation 4:5. Revelation 5:6. So, we engage the rod of the Word in stirring this rich deposit of hidden treasures, of all wisdom and knowledge. Psalm 19:7-8. Church Gist. Psalm 119:98. 2 Timothy 3:15. So, we engage the rod of the Word in stirring this hidden treasure of wisdom and knowledge.
2. We engage in this stirring through meditation in the Word. Psalm 119:97-99. In Luke 15:17-20, the prodigal son came to himself and began to stir, “oh boy, come”, he came to himself, “will you like to die like this? You want your end to be like this? Can’t you think back how your father’s house look like? What’s going on here?” He preached to himself, made altar call, answered the altar call and went for counseling. Church Gist. It’s time to come to yourself. “Why is this thing not working? What must I do to make it work?” Genesis 24:63. So, it’s a program. Proverbs 18:1.
After we got this land, I was away in London for one purpose, “Lord, you’ve given us the land, what do you want to use the land for?” He began to show me the pattern. Church Gist. The pattern is here now. Proverbs 18:1. We stir it by meditation. Isaiah 1:18-19.
3. We stir it through the prayer of inquiries. Jeremiah 3:33. “Jesus, why is this Church not growing?” And I said humorously, “if it keeps growing at this pace, this Church will be 1,000 people when I will 100 years old”. No, that’s a wasted life. “Why is this Church not growing?” Prayer of inquiry. It’s only those who ask questions that are entitled to answers. Church Gist. “What is draining the fire inside me? Why am I appearing on the altar drying and dredgy? What is going on around me?” 2 Samuel 5:18-20. 1 Samuel 30:6-9. If you don’t ask questions, you’re not entitled to answers. We don’t only serve a prayer-answering God, we serve a question-answering God. Church Gist. Ask sincere questions. Don’t ask questions for which you already hold the answer in your hand. “Oh God, shall I go to Germany? Yes, I’m already gone oh, I’m just informing you”.
4. A life of joy and rejoicing is one of the ways to stir this gift. Job 32:7-8. Inspiration is a product of a lifestyle of joy and rejoicing. Isaiah 12:3. The reason why we don’t flow in inspiration is that we are cumbered with too many things – “oh God, is this the way my life would end? I’m sorry for myself. Church Gist. I’m sorry for my wife and everybody. Life is not treating me well, I need to let you know that. But you know papa shouldn’t hear that oh, but let me tell you the truth God, life is not treating me well”. Church Gist. You’re disconnecting from the required inspiration through which Divine wisdom flows.
Somebody once asked me, “Brother David, do you ever have problems?” I said, “maybe it came and I didn’t know”. During the time of my wife’s challenge, I was so in inspiration, that is solution-bearing inspiration. It didn’t get on me sir, no. I needed God’s presence, Psalm 16:11. Church Gist. You need His presence to access the path of life and you can’t access His presence without joy and rejoicing, you can’t. You can’t make a fish to attend a meeting in this chapel, no, it can’t survive it. Church Gist. God can’t survive a joyless environment, so, you can’t access the path of life, you will just be struggling with guess work. Why I asked, “why is this Church not growing?” I wasn’t groaning. I just know that there’s a way out.
– can I hear your Amen?
Everytime you’re confronted, convince yourself, one, there’s a way out.
– say with me, “there’s a way out”.
When our last daughter was accosted by the spirit of death, I went to the staff meeting, I had a good time with them, smiled, rejoice, got to my office and sat down on my chair and rolled on it, “Jesus, there must be a way out”. Church Gist. In that atmosphere, one, two, three, four, Scriptural arrows (flying), that was the end of it. Joy and rejoicing stirs inspiration, which causes the follow of Divine wisdom.
5. Keeping company with the wise. Proverbs 13:20. It’s a lifelong journey Sir. Somebody had said that you would be the same thing that you are today in 5 years time, except for two things; the books you read and the people with whom you walk. Church Gist. When you just go about people who are going nowhere, “do you know what they are doing in that ministry? Nonsense”. Busybody in other men’s matters. Friendship is not by force o, it’s by choice. Only fools walk with men of all-like minds. I prayed one whole night, “Jesus, disconnect me from everybody going backwards”, 1982, December 31 down to January 1, 1983. “Make my ears deaf to things that do not edify it and my eyes blind to things that do not build it up”. Church Gist. It was Psalm 1:1-3 that took me to the mountain and God heard me. Psalm 1:1-3. “God, I want to prosper oh, disconnect me”. I became consciously conscious of the relationship that I keep.
Walking with the wise has wisened me up. I contacted wisdom from working with Hagin, wisdom of the eagle from walking with Oral Roberts, wisdom of abundance without stress from walking with Copeland, the wisdom of explosive Church growth as given to Yonggi Cho.
Walk with the wise, you are wise. Walk with the wise, you are wise. Walk with the wise, you are wise. Church Gist. Iron sharpens iron. Let’s identify some boosters of the treasures of wisdom within us. We have looked at how to stir it, let’s now look at the boosters thereof.
Number one booster of the treasure of wisdom is the fear of the LORD. How many of us enjoyed the Gospel of yesterday? Did you enjoy it? When you drop from category four sir, you will go down to three. Seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, if you get delivered from it you go to level two. Just cracking mathematics, psychology, philosophy, your God and when it is not working, you go back to common sense. The master booster of the hidden treasure of wisdom is the fear of God as a lifestyle. Ahhh! The testimony of Joseph “but I fear God” Genesis 42:18 and Pharaoh said inasmuch as God has shown you all these, there is no one as wise and discreet as thou art. Church Gist. It is a master booster of the treasure of wisdom. Watch, Daniel purposed in his heart not to defile himself [Daniel 1:8]. Now, they could not find any error in him [Daniel 6:4-5]. Inasmuch as God has shown you all these, take over, he took over the government. It’s the master booster of the hidden treasure of wisdom.
Number two booster is the ever growing love for God and the interest of His Kingdom. David a man after God’s own heart, hear what that woman said in 2 Samuel 14:20, what! Just David! His only credential, David, I have found a man after with a heart for me. Praise God! Church Gist. So, the wisdom of God got boosted in him. Now, Solomon came and Solomon loved the LORD -1 Kings 4:29-31. The love for God is a booster of the treasure of wisdom.
The next booster is addiction to the study of the Word. It keeps boosting the treasure of wisdom in our lives. Matthew 7:24-25, Luke 11:49. God’s Word is God’s wisdom in print, God’s Word is God’s wisdom in print, it keeps God’s wisdom boosted in our lives. Henry Ford said “when you stop learning, you are old. Whether at 20 or at 80 but if you keep learning, you are young whether at 20 or at 80. The best thing to do is to keep learning.” Church Gist. It is also said in the education sphere that “a degree loses its virtues when in 5 years of graduation when nothing is added to it.” You have been reduced to an illiterate, you have lost touch with happenings. Back to where we began from, Ecclesiastes 4:13, now let me say this, by the Word that shows you what you carry, you have been imparted, I can’t hear your Amen!

You know in 2 Kings 4:2, Elisha asked this widow of the prophet what hast thou in thine house? She said “nothing!” Then go away! What hast thou now in this house? All the hidden treasure of wisdom and knowledge as contained in Christ is in this house! Amen! What hast thou in thy house? I have Colossians 2:3, I have 1 Corinthians 2:16, I have the mind of Christ, I have the wisdom of the power of Christ in this house. Come on now, that’s impartation! Church Gist. That’s impartation! Amen! Now, I was in a meeting many years ago and this man of God was speaking from 2 Corinthians 3- if the ministration of death was glorious, how much more glorious shall the ministration of life be? As the Word was coming, my head was packing! Literally sir, literally! Something jerked open in my brain, that there is more in me than there was in Daniel! Come on now! Impartation and the Spirit entered into me when He spoke unto me. The wisdom of God is God’s solution bank to all human problems. God’s solution bank to all human issues. It carries the virtues of witty inventions, unlimited capacity to create solutions! Come on now, unlimited capacity to create solutions. Church Gist. It delivers from stress and strain – all her ways are ways of pleasantness, all her paths are peace. She has long life in her right hand, her left hand, riches and honour. All that you can desire is not be compared with her. Everything you and I will ever need is available in this hidden treasure of divine wisdom. It’s your turn! Genesis 21:19. Somebody has seen something this morning! You don’t have to die of thirst, there is a well of water. There is a wisdom-way forward from where you are to the next levels. There is a wisdom stabilizing power available not to suffer setbacks and backward trend [downward trend]. You will never know downward trend again because wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times and the strength of salvation, the fear of the LORD is what keeps the channel flowing. Brand new day! Brand new day! Brand new day, brand new day, brand new day and brand new day and brand new day and brand new day and brand new day! Church Gist. One day, Archbishop Benson Idahosa, a man of many parts, he was roaring in that meeting, follow me and I will make you and the HolyGhost just came on me right there, He said “your making is in following.” When you stop following, I stop making. Your making is in following Me not following you. Following Me! Matthew 4:19. It was like take-away from that meeting. Follow me and I will make you! Stop following me, I will stop making you! You will have many take-away from here. Receive help from above to go and trade these treasures in the name of Jesus. Receive grace to go and trade these treasures.
Our ministry is restful because it’s structured. It’s structured, no guesswork! I don’t have to write any will when I am going to heaven, the will is already written and is being read while I am here. It is not that we don’t know the will, the will is written. Like I told everyone in Church, I said I have written my will, I pass to you Matthew 6:33 with all the treasures in it. My biological children, my spiritual children, sons and daughters of the prophet, that’s my will, I have written it. I wrote it 1976, Amen and I am giving it to you for free. All the things that others are dying to get, it shall be added to you. Now, I can’t add that, He is the One who adds it and He will show you what you will do for Him to add it. None of us are there yet. Everyone remains a student. If I were there, I will stop learning. No! He that thinks he knows anything let him know that he does not know anything yet as he ought to know.

In Jesus’ Precious Name we have prayed! Now listen, from this time on, you will never be found in the same spot two years running again. We have a covenant of annual change of level in Christ. Can I tell you how? Isaac sowed in that land and he received in the same year a hundredfold – The Lord blessed him Genesis 26:13. Church Gist. And we, the brethren of Isaac, are children of promise. ‘These three years I came seeking fruits of Thee and I found none’! ‘Cut it down. He said, ‘Leave it alone this year also – It’s an annual thing’! It’s an annual appraisal that is supposed to result in a change of story Luke 13:6-9. It’s not normal! No man should be two hundred this year, last year and the year after! It’s not normal. To be struggling this year and still be struggling next year! It’s not normal! You have a covenant of annual change of story in Christ!

As your spiritual depth deepens your result heightens. So the thing must start from within- I refuse to be at the spiritual level that I was last year. Church Gist. It is a change in the spiritual level that determines the change in levels outside. The Word of God increased and the number of disciples multiplied Acts 6:7. Look, Word increase equals multiplication of growth- It begins from Word increase. Instead of running around and doing like a General Manager, sit down, give yourself to prayers and the ministry of the Word. Church Gist. Stop being the accountant and the General Overseer and be confusing your life. Settle down! I’m not the signatory to any account in this Ministry today, I did that a long time. I know nothing about how they are paying for their projects, no! Stop majoring in your minors, it is by increasing your spiritual depth that determines your ultimate height. Wake up! Church Gist. It’s time to register as a life student of Christ.
-By the anointing this morning, every yoke of distraction that is contending with your walk with God shall be destroyed!
-Whatever makes learning an uphill task for you shall be destroyed!
Learners are note-takers; they are not pleasure readers. If you are not taking notes you are not learning. You don’t read for pleasure for an exam – you study, underline, take notes, review.
– Everything choking your spiritual life by the anointing this morning, they are declared destroyed!
When you’re liberated to learn, you will keep rising. All readers are potential leaders and all committed learners are great leaders. Church Gist. Wake up! With all to read, listen to, hearken to? I wasn’t found there as a pastor of 20 or 10 people. Is there any office that will qualify for me to sit down there waiting for somebody to see me? The time is not there.
He said, “you have 2 eyes; can you make one to look up and one to look down? Any time you’re looking unto man never claim to be looking unto me. Church Gist. But if you fix your eyes on me you will never be ashamed.” No man has what God requires to fulfill his assignment in your life. Haggai 2:8. If you let man come between you and God, you have lost your ministry.

Bring out your bottles of oil. It is to destroy all spiritual yokes that’s militating against our spiritual growth and impact. All yokes – sickness, disease, oppression of the devil inclusive, but most importantly, every spiritual yokes that’s resisting your way forward in your walk with God, affecting the quality of your walk with God,carrying about envy, strife and junk and all kinds of stuff that don’t allow for growth, I will like you to name whatever you consider a challenge: sleeping while praying, reading with difficulty, suffering self imposed distractions, pastors listening to television till they sleep, they keep it on and wake up and see it – Sky News, all junk news, you wake up and find people shooting themselves then go to sleep, you will be jumping from River to River …. Church Gist. Take heed what ye hear.
Lift your 2 hands and ask God to destroy every form of spiritual yoke choking your spiritual growth

The content of your bottles is hereby declared the Holy Anointing oil. As this oil comes on your forehead, all spiritual yokes around anyone’s life, they are declared destroyed.
The root of bitterness is destroyed! Bitterness against a growing ministry in your city is over! Bitterness against the growing children of others is over! Bitterness against the prosperity of another ministry is over!
Every spiritual siege against anyone’s call is destroyed today! The siege of prayerlessness is destroyed! The siege of nonchalant attitude to a life of study is over! The siege of hypocrisy is over!
Every weight and every sin that doth easily beset anyone, that hold is destroyed!
Everyone leaves here into a brand new world! A brand new world of sanctity, integrity and sanctification, in the name of Jesus! Church Gist. Upon arrival, they will know a new man and woman has arrived. Everybody would know that a new you has arrived, in the name of Jesus!
When Jesus arrived and said, “He has anointed me”, all eyes were fixed on him.

Again, it is declared the Holy Anointing oil and so shall it be.
It shall be to you the oil of consecration, the oil of breakthrough, the oil of breaking forth, the oil of next levels, spiritual next levels, physical next levels, ministry next levels, family next levels!

The siege is over!
Again, I will like to, by the signal of the Holy Spirit emphasize that teaching on Redefining the ministry of the Gospel. Please, run through it again. Check through those scriptures again and reposition accordingly. Church Gist. Reposition accordingly. No one has capacity to rewrite the Bible. Any interpretation outside the Holy Ghost’s interpretation is subject to check and He won’t take anything that is contrary to His Word. Please, get back to it and let new passion begin to burn in your heart. Church Gist. Serving the LORD in truth and in deed, entitles believers to long life. Everyone appointed to death by the gimmicks of the wicked is rescued today. As your days, so shall your strength be! No one here will bury any of their children! The last assault any one among us suffered is the last we will ever know. Receive grace to keep smiling at the storms, receive grace to keep smiling at the storm and so shall it be!
