IT IS ONLY A WICKED MOTHER THAT WILL USE THE FEEDING ALLOWANCE TO BUY GOLD OR PAY FOR WRAPPERS.
WHEN A WOMAN PRAYS, SHE STRENGTHENS GOD’S PROTECTION OVER HER LIFE, HER FAMILY AND HER LOVED ONES.
THE devil CANNOT STAND YOU WHEN YOU ARE PRAYERFUL. satan TARGETS THOSE WHO DO NOT PRAY.
GOD IS TELLING YOU TO REDEDICATE YOUR LIFE AND ACCEPT JESUS TODAY TO HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.
THE NAME OF JESUS IS A DIVINE FORCE THAT GENERATES ANSWERS TO OUR PRAYERS.
FORGIVE YOUR SPOUSE SO THAT GOD CAN ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS.
PRAYING WITHOUT THE WORD OF GOD IS A MERE EXERCISE IN FUTILITY.
THE WORD OF GOD IS GOD’S VERDICT FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS.
NEVER JUMP INTO PRAYER WITHOUT THANKSGIVING OR IT WILL JUST BE A COMPLAINT.
THANKSGIVING IS WHAT PROVOKES GOD’S ATTENTION IN OUR FAVOUR.
A HEARTFELT PRAYER IS A PROVOKER OF ANSWERS TO PRAYERS.
YOUR FAITH IS A PROOF THAT YOU TRUST GOD.
MOTHERS, REMEMBER THAT THE EXAMPLE THAT WE LEAD IS WHAT OUR CHILDREN WILL EMULATE.
PRAY FOR YOUR HUSBAND EVEN IF HE IS IN A WRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH ANOTHER WOMAN.

Mothers are special people. Today is our day because we are special. Church Gist. God brought us to this world to make a difference.
-God will cause you to make a difference in the Name of Jesus!
Without a woman, life will not be progressive. Women are carriers of the human race. She is a very important tool in the hands of God because God uses her to beget generations. Church Gist. Every woman is a mother because she carries the gene of motherhood in her. I am here to tell you that you are blessed in the Name of Jesus! Even our husbands acknowledge that we are blessed Proverbs 29:28. In fact, we are priceless!
-I decree that for every single lady here due for marriage, your husband will locate you this year in the Name of Jesus!
-For the married ones, desiring the fruits of the womb, God will visit you in the Name of Jesus.
-The ones that want peace in their homes, God will restore peace in the Name of Jesus!
-God bless you in the Name of Jesus!
In the First Service, we talked about, ‘Who is a mother’? What to know about prayer and why do we pray’? A mother is a female parent who can nurture and care for a child or children whether biological, foster or adopted. Church Gist. A mother is a selfless, loving human who can sacrifice many of her wants and needs for that of her children- A mother is a protector, disciplinarian and friend.
-May God bless and prosper all the mothers in Jesus’ Name.
You know mothers! You sacrifice for your children, is that not so? It is only a wicked woman that will sacrifice the school fees of their children to wear gold. Church Gist. Every mother gives their children food before they eat. It is only a wicked mother that will use the feeding allowance to buy gold or pay for wrappers that she is owing. Is that not so?
-None of us is doing that in Jesus’ Name!
What is Prayer?
Our topic this morning is, ‘THE MOTHER THAT PRAYS’. Prayer is asking God to intervene on your behalf in a given situation on the basis of His Word and your relationship with Him. Church Gist. It is the act of asking and receiving from God.
-God will answer us in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 7:7-8. When a woman prays, she strengthens God’s protection over her life, her family and her loved ones. Church Gist. The devil cannot stand you when you are prayerful, satan targets those who do not pray. Satan cannot approach you when you are on fire 1 Peter 5:8.
-Satan will not destroy any of us in the Name of Jesus!
-No devil will come near you or your household in Jesus’ mighty Name!
-You will keep having testimonies and keep celebrating in the Name of Jesus!
Some factors for result-oriented prayer:
You know, you don’t just jump into prayers and say, ‘We pray by learning’! No! Church Gist. There are some factors for result-oriented prayers, you must know the process to pray effectively.
1. We must be born again
You must have a Father-son or daughter relationship with God Matthew 6:9. Is God your Father? So, you must have a personal relationship because God is a Father of all but a Father to those who have accepted Him as Lord and Saviour. If you are not in a relationship with God, consciously accept Him when the altar call is made. Church Gist. I have said it several times that I have a Catholic background so you know that we confess sins to the Priest and not the way it is done here. Because of that, I found it difficult for so long to agree that I was born again, I kept taking altar calls even as I was born again. Even before I met my husband, at that time I wasn’t sure that I was born again – If Jesus returns, can I make Heaven? Not that I was committing sin.
I told my husband on some occasions to lead me to Christ and I kept leading myself to Christ until I understood that I have a personal relationship with God, that He is my God and I can talk to Him. Church Gist. That does not make you a sinner but to make sure that you have a personal relationship with God, so that when you are talking to Him you will not talk to Him like a stranger John 3:3, 7. God is telling you to rededicate your life and accept Jesus today to have a personal relationship with Him.
I was telling some young Pastors when they came to see me that prayer does not have a particular atmosphere. As I am standing here, if you agree that God is for you and with you even if you have pains, you can talk to Him and say, ‘God, I need strength to pray’! Church Gist. Because you are confident that He will strengthen you – As simple as it is! If not, you will be asking people, ‘Are you sure that God answered me’? So you should keep developing! Not that I’ve gotten there but as I’m praying, I am having an understanding that God has answered me John 14:6. So you must have a personal relationship with Him before He can answer your prayers.
2. Identify the challenge.
The first thing to do before you pray is to identify the challenge – Know what you are praying for. Church Gist. For example, the blind man in Mark 10:51 identified the challenge of not seeing. Jesus saw the blind man, He knew that he needed his sight but He asked him, ‘What do you need’?
3. Locate and pray with the right Scriptures.
There must be a Scripture in line with that challenge. Using the wrong Scripture will not produce results. For instance, ‘He that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing and obtains favour of the Lord’ Proverbs 18:22 – Tell yourself, ‘I am a good person so I must be found’! Church Gist. That is the Word of God for a lady looking for a husband. He said, ‘He maketh the barren woman to be fruitful’, you can say: ‘God, I am serving you, do not allow me to die barren’! Psalms 113:9 and again, He said, ‘When you serve Me, I will take away sickness from thee’! Exodus 23:25-27.
So you must ask according to the will of God 1 John 5:14. Praying without the Word of God is a mere exercise in futility Hosea 14:2a, your prayer must agree with God’s Word in order to get answers from God. And the Word of God is God’s verdict for answered prayers, so locate the Word of God and God will help us in Jesus’ Name, Amen. Remember that God’s Word is His Will so let God’s Word abide in you in the Name of Jesus!
4. Learn to forgive.
If your husband has done something against you, forgive him. Church Gist. Husbands too that are hearing us, forgive whatever thing that your wife has done so that God can answer your prayers Mark 11:25. Even this morning, if at all somebody offended you please forgive so that your prayers will be answered Mark 11:25-28.
5. Always engage in thanksgiving (Worship and Praise).
Papa has taught us about thanksgiving many times. You know that you can’t jump into prayers, no! Church Gist. You must thank Him, worship and praise Him. Thanksgiving is what provokes God’s attention in our favour.
-As you thank God, worship and praise Him, He will visit you in the Name of Jesus!
Never jump into prayer without thanksgiving or it will just be a complaint. Worship Him from the depth of your heart. The two remarkable miracles of Jesus from John 6:1-14 and John 11:41-44 started with thanksgiving. Church Gist. Make sure that your prayer is accompanied by thanksgiving Philippians 4:6.
6. Pray in the Name of Jesus
The Name of Jesus is a divine force that generates answers to our prayers. It is the only Name that is acknowledged in Heaven, there is no other way. Church Gist. Let me tell you how powerful, you know that when you pray in the Name of Jesus, God is not seeing you, He is seeing Jesus, His Son. Papa has written a book on the, ‘The Power in the Name of Jesus’. Take it, it’s a small book and read it over and over Phillippians 2:9.
‘Whatever you ask in My Name, that will I do’… John 14:13. Papa told us how the Church was running two Services and he had the understanding of John 14:13 and he told God that he wants to run five Services. Church Gist. If you ask anything in His Name, He will do it – Ask the Lord for one thing now! John 16:23, Colossians 3:17.

7. Pray from your heart (Heartfelt prayers)
You don’t need to be here and thinking about your soup that is on the fire, the whereabouts of your children or husband and thinking about somebody who is owing you, no! Heartfelt prayers! Church Gist. When you want to pray, turn off your phone or take it somewhere else, shut your door and let nobody disturb you – It is important that we prepare our hearts when we want to approach God in prayers Proverbs 16:1. A heartfelt prayer is a provoker of answers to prayers James 5:16b (AMPC).
8. Have faith
Refuse to doubt when you pray. Even as we have prayed, satan is very subtle – He will say, ‘What is she talking about? Has the pain gone? No! I was in pain on Thursday during the Ministers’ Conference, I was distracted somehow but Papa didn’t know, I was meditating as Bishop Oyedepo was speaking and I caught an understanding. Church Gist. And immediately we got to the house – The accommodation that he gave us, I told Papa to please join faith with me now to curse this pain. And he cursed it and I said, ‘No! I won’t look at it again! I slept and since then the pain vanished.
So refuse to doubt! You know? It might not go immediately but it has gone spiritually and the root is already cursed. But satan will say, ‘After the prayer, is the pain not there’? No! It has gone spiritually so you must physically remove your mind. If you have removed your mind and it has been cursed, it is gone forever in Jesus’ Name! Church Gist. Your faith is a proof that you trust God Hebrew 11:6, Mark 9:23, Mark 11:23. Until you believe in God, you will not have what you prayed for, you don’t see your answers before you believe in God. I’ve come to know that you must believe first and if satan is telling you the contrary, say, ‘No! My God is not a God that shall lie’!
9. Be expectant! If you expect nothing when you pray, you will get nothing! – You hear Papa say it over and over! ‘Expectation is the mother of manifestation’, says the wise man. What you don’t expect, you don’t experience Proverbs 23:18, Proverbs 10:24b. Church Gist. It is what you desire that you have, you must be desperate in your prayers. Refuse to give up until your prayers are answered and your desires are granted. Don’t give up! Don’t mind people who are mocking you! For God to make you, you must be mocked.
-Don’t give up! God will visit you in the Name of Jesus!
10. Believe and thank God
So when you agree that the Lord has done it, the next thing you must do is to thank Him. Church Gist. It is what you say in line with the Scriptures that God confirms Numbers 14:28. Believe that God has answered you and you will get it in the Name of Jesus!
Mothers, remember that the example that we lead is what our children will emulate. Avoid carnality in your Christian adventure. It’s how sound you are spiritually that will keep you on the path to victory. Church Gist. Pray for your husband even if he is in a wrong relationship with another woman, pray a heartfelt prayer commanding him to be separated from that demonic agent. Don’t give up!
-May we always remain victorious as we pray in the Name of Jesus!
As a woman, if somebody is disturbing your marriage, pray for a gulf between your husband and that agent of the devil and command darkness upon her – That when your husband will see her, he will see her as a masquerade. Are you hearing me? Command error upon her! ‘Error upon you woman! A gulf has been created between you and my husband, you will never see him again. Everywhere error! People will see you as an agent of the devil’! And you will see that they will come into confusion. Don’t pray for your husband to die and don’t pray for his finances to crumble, it won’t help you because you won’t be able to train your children.
