ONLY FAITHFUL TITHERS ARE ENTITLED TO TRUE RICHES.

BECOMING A FINANCIAL WONDER PART 2. It is God’s will for you to live in abundance, wealth and affluence In 3 John 1:2. Church Gist. Hear this, children of God! Poverty, lack and want is not God’s plan for you.
-It (Poverty) will end in your life!
Poverty is an embarrassment to your authentic right in Christ. Church Gist. You don’t have any business with misfortune if you can truly follow God’s instructions.
-The last misfortune will be the last one!
As a child of God, living in lack is anti-covenant 2 Corinthians 8:9, so your enrichment is part and parcel of your redemptive right in Christ. It is a sin for a child of God to be poor, you are saying that what Jesus did on the cross is not true – Jesus died for your sin and also died for you not to be poor. So poverty is not of God.
-It (Poverty) is ending in your life.
Wealth is accessible to all who are willing to obey the demands of the Scriptures. Church Gist. Wealth is not for a few people, it is for every child of God Isaiah 1:19, Job 36:11, Deuteronomy 28:1-14.

Let me say this to you, you need money! Money is a principal requirement for a successful pursuit to realize goals, so you need it Ecclesiastes 10:19. Money is not the root of all evil please take note, it is the love of money that is the root of all evil 1 Timothy 6:10. Now, God lives in wealth, He abides in the most majestic splendor, Heaven is His throne and the streets of Heaven are paved with gold. Church Gist. So if you are saying that money is bad you are saying that God is bad because He lives in the midst of wealth. Jesus used money with all His anointing and wealth – He needed money to accomplish His mission on earth. In John 12:6, Judas Iscariot was carrying His bag, stealing from Him yet He didn’t know, you can’t be a poor man and if they steal from you, you will know. There was so much money in the bag and Judas was stealing from Jesus yet He didn’t know. How you will know that you have come out of poverty is that when they steal from you, you won’t know. Have they stolen from you before and you carry a cane?
You know? When you are broke and you are on the poor level, if money is not around, you will say, “All of you line up, today oo, you will tell me who took this one thousand naira”. If they have never stolen from you, you are a poor man. Somebody stole from me one time and I was very angry, the thing almost distracted me from God’s work, so I was complaining in my heart, “Why will this man steal from me like that?” Church Gist. So, I heard God say to me, “Stop my son! Why are you bothered that this man stole from you, they stole from me and I didn’t feel it – Did the stealing affect the income?” And I said, “No!” Then He said, “Face the work that I called you and stop worrying about what he stole”. And I started smiling on the staircase alone. Judas was stealing from Jesus and He never felt it! That was not a poor man. Nobody should tell you that Jesus was poor, he was never a poor man. If they steal from a poor man, you will know!
Now, Jesus lived in comfort, how do I know? The first person to use a convoy was Jesus, so Pastors using sirens is not wrong, we are following the footsteps of our Master Mark 4:36, so if you wonder, “How Pastors go use convoys? See am here (Mark 4:36)! He never wore rags! After His crucifixion, they envied His robe that they were casting lots, “O boy! Give me part of the clothes!” You don’t cast lots for okirika (Fairly used clothes), you cast lots for clean clothes. Church Gist. Do you know that when they came, they could not differentiate between Him and His disciples which means the disciples were also in suits just the way we dress in this Church. Somebody in Lagos State called my Associate Pastor, he said, “For that una Church, everybody get money oo”. He said, “Why?” And He replied, “I see you on the television, everyone dey wear suit!!! Na big men fill the Church”. So you are the one who thinks that you are poor, you are very rich and wealthy, so relax and get the truth of the Gospel.
In Genesis 1:26-28, man was primarily created for the management of God’s resources. He (God) said, ‘I’m creating this man to manage everything that I have created’! Let me show you something that will baffle you – In Genesis 2:4, after God created Heaven and earth, He stopped. Just imagine only earth and Heaven and nothing was inside, no man! Church Gist. And God knew there was no more progress and growth and that someone needs to take care of the creatures that He created. And then He created Adam to manage everything but Adam mismanaged what was given to him by God. Adam was stupendously wealthy but he mismanaged all that God gave to him and based on that God chased him out of splendor and wealth into hardship. So the biggest sin that Adam committed was mismanagement.
-You will not be chased out.
Every time you don’t manage what God gives to you, He takes it away from you. God hates the mismanagement of resources. Jesus came on earth speaking about the Kingdom of God Matthew 25:14-28, the man with the one talent said, ‘I can’t manage it’! When He said, ‘I can’t manage it’, Jesus would have said, ‘ Leave him alone’, but He said, ‘Take it from him and give it to the one who has managed well’! Why will God take the one talent and give it to the one who has more? Church Gist. When you are a poor manager, those who are wealthy get wealthier. Somebody is not excelling in his career and he said that it is the devil. And Jesus was referring to Genesis 1:26 here, He said, ‘I took what Adam did not manage, if you don’t manage what I put in your hand, I will take it from you. Now listen, God hates mismanagement, when you mismanage any resource of God, you lose it. So what are we supposed to do?
We are supposed to become good managers of His resources 1 Corinthians 4:2. So the major requirement of a manager is faithfulness, managers are supposed to be faithful. He said, ‘Look man! I have placed you as a manager, what I require of you is faithfulness’! What are the characteristics of a manager? Faithfulness! Faithfulness requires: Honesty, discipline, accountability, diligence and trustworthiness. The question is this: Can God trust you? Luke 16:11, God is saying, ‘If you have not been faithful with money, I will never trust you as a Christian’! Unfaithfulness is the reason for poverty.
Listen carefully! God has no money problem Haggai 2:8 but He has a problem with unfaithfulness. Luke 16:10, if you cannot pay tithe for a hundred naira, God said, ‘I can’t trust you to give you one thousand naira’! You say, ‘Oh God! I will pay when I get money’, but He says, ‘The little one I put in your hands, you could not manage it’! A man who can’t pay tithe for ten naira cannot pay tithe for one million naira. ‘If you cannot be faithful in the small one that I put in your hand, how can you be faithful in the big one’? – God said that this is the reason for poverty, I don’t have a money problem but the problem is unfaithfulness and we see unfaithfulness more in money. You will not know a true Christian until you have monetary dealings with him or her.
So when you get money, what should you do first? He said, ‘Unrighteous mammon’! – We are talking about money, don’t pretend! That’s why I said that faithfulness requires: Honesty, discipline, diligence, accountability and trustworthiness. Church Gist. So when I get money what should I do first? Because many people think that they are truthful to God but when they get money, they will think of buying a car first. ‘It’s not bad enough’! When I get money what should I do first?
1. When I get money, I should tithe first.
That’s how you know that you are faithful. Never touch your money when you have not paid your tithe Malachi 3:10. All the tithe is of the Lord Leviticus 27:3, Proverbs 3:9. Be sincere with yourself, when you get money do you remove your tithe first? That’s how I know that you are disciplined, a disciplined child of God will never remove money when he has never paid his tithe. Church Gist. Nothing in this world will make me start spending money when I have not removed my tithe, it’s not possible. No temptation! It takes discipline. I don’t have to come to Church to remove it. In today’s technology, you even transfer online, so transfer the tithe. That is when you know that God can trust you, if you are not faithful in money you can’t be faithful in anything.
Listen, every poor man is not faithful! I don’t care how you pretend. You can’t be a Christian for ten years and things are tough, you are not faithful! You know? Christians are one kind, we like sympathy. God cannot lie, you are faithful? And God will keep you down, it’s a lie! I hate religion! Your cry cannot move God, you are not faithful. You won’t like it but this is the raw truth and take this raw truth, that is very hard to change your story Luke 6:11. Church Gist. The first tithe of this Ministry was seven hundred naira, today we pay tithes up to hundreds of millions. I met some of my classmates, some of them started tithing for one year and stopped and they went down. I know this thing oo, if you are not faithful and you crash, only God will have mercy especially when you have known the truth. Unfaithfulness to the law of tithing makes you walk in financial misfortune.
When you hear Christians say, ‘Tithe is in the Old Testament’. I look at them and laugh. Bishop Abioye said, ‘When nakedness promises you clothes, run! Have you seen a Man of God who preaches but does not believe in tithing, look at his Ministry na. I know a Man of God who speaks against tithe, he used to be at the top but he has crashed. Church Gist. I said, ‘Sir, I respect you but you don make the biggest mistakes of your life’! All those who preached against tithing, their Ministries just went down – That means you are saying that God is wrong! For some of you, na only money you dey hear, you no hear say dem talk say make you no sin or follow woman? Na money wey you see, stingy person!
Tithing is not man’s idea, only faithful tithers are entitled to true riches – All the tithes including gifts. When they give you gifts in cash, pay tithe! Church Gist. Don’t say, ‘Dem dash me only ten thousand naira, pay tithe’! You are not helping God or His Church by paying tithe, me too I pay my tithe – It is acknowledging the riches and God’s blessings upon your life so that He can bless you again.
2. Give quality offerings Luke 6:38
An offering is anything that we give over and above our tithe. We are not generous givers in the eyes of God when we only pay our tithe. If you only tithe, you are not a giver – The tithe is simply an evidence of honesty and faithfulness. Church Gist. Tithing is the act of giving to God what He has given you, so giving starts with your offering.
Start sowing from what you have now, always sow proportionate to what you desire Proverbs 11:24, 2 Corinthians 9:6. Let me close with this, anytime you sow expect to reap. I never knew this part of the Scripture, so I used to give without expectation. I was taught giving but I was not taught receiving. Church Gist. It did not take too long before I knew that every time that I give, I should also receive – It is not unscriptural! Let nobody teach you that kind of thing, when you give, expect something in return 1 Kings 17:14-17. So let me break it down for religious people, in John 3:16 when He gave His Son, was He expecting something? He expected you and I to be born again! So drop your religion, it’s not wrong to expect something when you give. Because if you just give without expectations, there will be no true harvest. I was not teaching it before but when I caught the revelation, I began to teach it. ‘When you give, expect to receive’!
But you will expect nothing if you have not given anything. Can a farmer go to the farm without planting and invite great Men of God saying, ‘Men of God, prophesy over my farm that there might be crops because with God all things are possible’. And they stand on the farm and say, ‘Farm! Produce’! Will it produce? Why? Church Gist. He didn’t plant anything! Jumping from Church to Church for Men of God to pray for you when you have not planted is a waste of energy. Leave religion! ‘I go go this Church! You know that Man of God, if he prays, God go hear am’.
God no dey break Scriptures! Until you put a seed inside that soil, if the Man of God like make em prophesy without knowing, e no go work John 10:35. Prophecy works when you have planted a seed, but not when you have not planted and I say, ‘Receive’! Nothing go receive, na erosion e go receive! Church Gist. People who don’t give offerings, shout ‘Amen’ more than others during prayers. That your ‘Amen’ you are shouting will never produce until you sow. Let no Church or Pastor deceive you Galatians 6:7. This is where I have authority, I have read and have proven it, it doesn’t work without a seed. As long as this earth remaineth, seed time and harvest time will not cease – Not prayer time, fasting time or shouting time – There must be a seed. Seeds have power!
In Malachi 3:10, a tithe is ten percent of every income that comes to you. Every time you want to pay tithe, don’t cut it, give everything and don’t say, ‘God! Do I give gross or net tithe? Go and find out’! When people want to play wayo, they will say, ‘Do I give gross or net tithe’!
