Isn’t it interesting to know that the gospel is so simple that even children can know it? “From a child, thou hast known the holy scriptures which are able to make you wise unto salvation.”
Lord Jesus, we are here today. Today is the last day in this teaching series UNLOCKING THE SUPERNATURAL. Let the virtues of the supernatural inside each one be fully unlocked today. Church Gist. Take all the praise. Help each one to locate the rod of signs and wonders from your Word today and thank You for it in Jesus’ precious name.
UNLOCKING THE SUPERNATURAL 4.
Please pay close attention for the brief time that we have and keep your heart open to receive the engrafted Word of God. Access to the truth creates a future. Church Gist. John 8:32. Access to the truth enhances the fulfilment of our glorious destiny. Psalm 45:1-3. It enhances the majesty of our destiny. The Lord prompted me to share these four basic truths with you as we round up today.
We are not redeemed as crying babies. We are redeemed as kings and priests to reign on the earth.
Can I have you say with me: I am not redeemed a crying baby but a priest and a king to reign on the earth. I am an heir of God. Revelation 5:9-10. No racial discrimination, no first world and second world or third world in the kingdom. I am not redeemed as a crying baby, I am redeemed as a priest and a king to reign on the earth. Galatians 4:1. He is born into a royal family, he is born to reign but you don’t enthrone a five-year-old baby on the throne. No! He must grow. Church Gist. Our greatest challenge that is causing tears again and again is the babyhood of our spiritual life. Nobody can grow you without you. You can be the principal of a school and have a failed child in the same school. If you didn’t pass your exam you won’t be the principal. Now, you can’t pass on his behalf. You can’t pass on behalf of your child. You can be a professor in the department where your child is a student and your son is thrown out for non-performance. You can’t stand in his place. Galatians 4:1-4. 1 Corinthians 13:11.
It is time to grow, it is a non-transferable responsibility. Watch those children. Watch what is coming out of them. It is coming from their spirit being, it is not memorized. We must take responsibility to grow spiritually. Our level of command of the supernatural will never outgrow our spiritual growth. Acts 20:32. So we have to grow. We have to build up, God’s glorious agenda is in weights. Our stamina will determine how much weight we will be entrusted on your head so it doesn’t kill you. We need to grow. 2 Peter 3:18. People have thought that grace grows only through prayer, No! 2 Peter 1:2. Grace multiplies by knowledge. The deeper your insight, the greater the grace. The deeper your knowledge of the truth, the greater the grace of God at work in your life. Give attention to reading, to exhortation and to doctrine. 1 Timothy 4:13. Can I give you an assignment please, if you are interested? I can’t force it on you. Get back to the book of St John and read it now. From Chapter 1 to the end. Church Gist. Find a solid place for your faith. Am I not drawing from my first three months of Salvation as I went through Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John like a ravenous wolf and got myself out of tuberculosis without anybody praying for me? All these show Christianity won’t work, get back to the root. Read John to the end. Find a grounding, a landing place for your faith. I said Jesus if it is true that you did all that they said you did in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John because I had found it, do it now. Church Gist. Tuberculosis fled. If I didn’t know what was written, how can I challenge that, how can I oppose that? Anybody trying to kill me is wasting his life. The day I go to heaven, I go on my own and I am not going now. Relax ‘motiri asiri e’ (I have discovered the secret’). You better wake up Sir. You shall know the truth and it shall set you free. My people do not perish for lack of prayer and fasting, they perish for lack of knowledge. Even your prayer won’t be answered without knowledge. If we ask anything according to His will, it is the only time he is committed. 1 John 5:14-15. He doesn’t hear you because you are crying, He hears you because you ask according to His will. Wake up!
I still read every day and I learn every day and I document my lessons every day! What I am saying to you, I wrote it this week. I can’t pass exams for you, I can only tell you to study If you want to pass. You will write exams. We are writing exams daily and God did test Abraham. We are the seed of Abraham so there is a test. Church Gist. It is not 500L, it is all through life. Level 1000, 1200, you will be writing tests. I can stop now because I have done my job. My job is to show you how to gain command of the supernatural.
I got saved in February 1969, by June I was done consuming Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. I could read out a whole chapter. It is not memorized, it is consumed. It was in 1970, I found that I had been redeemed as a priest and a king. In those days we were all suffering to go to heaven, but I found out that I have been redeemed to reign on the earth. Nobody was preaching it but I found it. I have found the Primary 2, Primary 1 so he could be teaching me those things. But now you have not done primary school. Church Gist. You are doing an equation. It will be difficult to understand and you are writing an exam on quadratic equations. It has no landing. Let’s get grounded. Christianity of today is losing its root. It is so easy to dissuade people because they have no foundation. They are tossed about by all kinds of doctrines. Somebody cannot tell me now that sin does not matter. I knew that a long time before you were born again. I don’t know your kind of born again. Church Gist. He said only fools make a mock at sin. Don’t mind Papa, it is an old testament thing. I agree. Give me the old kind of religion and it is good enough for me. It was good enough for Paul and Silas. Whatever Christianity won’t make you go to heaven is not correct, it is a deception. You better wake up.
One cannot ignore the key to a door and expect to gain access. The house is your house and you got to the door and you say I am the owner of this house, the door must open unto me. The door said you are wasting time, if you don’t have the key you can’t enter. I am the Owner. Start speaking grammar, if you don’t bring out the key you won’t enter inside this house. This inheritance is yours and mine but we need the key to access it. You know what? At new birth, He gave us the keys of the Kingdom to access whatever heaven has ordained for us. Church Gist. Matthew 16:17-19. What does this key imply? Luke 11:52. Jesus was speaking to the lawyers of their day. He said woe unto you for you have taken away the key of knowledge. The key of knowledge! I didn’t stumble into hitch-free marriage, I studied my way into it. I vowed never to approach anything in my life on common sense. I don’t know how many books my wife read but I read eight books on marriage. Kilode, is it a project? Yes! It is. It is a lifelong project. I found it. You can’t find what you are looking for and not know. I knew when I found it. Our counsellor said to me “David what are you looking for?” I said hitch-free marriage. What? I said that is it. He said how do you say so, I said we have never had any crisis in our courtship. He said that is because you are not together. You can’t be together and not step on one another’s toes. Church Gist. I said you and me that we are sitting together. Why am I not stepping on your toes? 1. I am not blind. 2. I am not wicked. You will know when you have found what you are looking for. If you don’t know what you are looking for, you can be confused by anybody. Church Gist. You better settle down and find it. Do you know why you need it? Your challenge will meet you as a person, you alone. They couldn’t get Peter when he was among the Apostles. They got him when he was alone. They got Judas when he was alone. They invited him. They couldn’t negotiate with him while he was in the midst of his brethren. You need a personal rod to deal with your personal issues. That my son, after 19 years of waiting, said “We got it”. He said he found out that the baby in Elizabeth leapt and the child leapt. The children leapt. He found it. Papa has started. That is how he prayed for us last year. You didn’t find it, that is why it didn’t work.
Can I tell you a mystery that God showed me? Who prays for you is irrelevant, you need your faith to secure the answer. It is the same prayer I pray for everybody. You need your faith to secure the answer. Jesus prayed over them, it didn’t work. He marvelled at their unbelief not his own unbelief. Mark 6:5-6. So don’t sit down there and say Papa pray for me. Hagin laid hands on many of us, I don’t know where some are now. Some have left ministry for the longest time. Your faith is what makes it work. Your faith is required for my prayer over you or the prayer of any anointed man over you to work. Your faith is required. When I pray, I pray with all my heart. Whether you now take it with half of your heart or one-quarter of your heart, I can’t handle that. Papa has started again. I started 54 years ago. I didn’t know you then so I wasn’t doing it to impress you. Let my prayer be answered over you because I am a man of faith, I pray in faith, I am sent to preach faith, I live by faith so you don’t have a problem on my side. If you have a problem on your side, go and solve it. As the Lord lives, today will mark the end of the crying baby in any one of us. Church Gist. Sir, if you will go through with that assignment to read the book of John, I know you are a pastor but go and read it. Because I am not sure you read it at a time. You read Chapter 1 and jump to Philippians 2. Read this one through. Don’t read to exhort people, read to train yourself. By the time you finish that, you will have an unusual taste for Matthew, Mark and Luke. That is where the new birth virtues are exposed. I read the Acts of the Apostles, five days in a fast. That book is not that long. Five days in a fast, I was literally floating. What was I looking for? I needed access to the power behind the Acts of the Apostles. The supernatural answers to our discoveries. So get down and make discoveries.
In 1974, I read a book ‘Like a Mighty Wind’ by Mel Tari and I saw a second one, Mel and Lorna Tari, The Gentle Breeze of Jesus, they sparked off my taste for the supernatural. I saw the extension of the acts of the Apostles in that story of the Indonesian Revival. Matthew 7:7-8. Church Gist. The command is not by confession, it is by possession. It is possession of light that delivers the rod which you engage to command the supernatural. So it is a round-off, it is not ‘let us go through the lines’. This is the line we are going through.
There is this little book ‘Operating in the Supernatural’, it can spark off a new thing in your life. It is small. It is not that big. I am not a bookseller, I have never earned a dime from books in my life. Church Gist. Walking in The Miraculous, what does it take to operate in the supernatural naturally? Just the vital keys. Then, Commanding the Supernatural, settle down and strive to make discoveries. You can’t ignore the key to a door and expect to gain access.
The Word of God is the mirror that shows us our true reflection from God’s perspective. The vision of all is as locked up in this book. The devil is all out blindfolding people against access to the truth of this book. We have three mighty weapons – the blood of Jesus that gives us access to the things behind the veil. Hebrews 9:14. We have the Holy Ghost that helps our understanding of the truth. John 14:26, 16:12-14. Then we have the name of Jesus at which every devil must bow. Get off here Satan, it is my right to gain access to the mysteries of the kingdom. In the name of Jesus, lose your grip over my life. You seal it with the communion. Church Gist. He gave them the communion and their eyes were opened. As I take this bread, all blindfolding devils stay off. Then you gain access. As we have said over, every believer is a living wonder to his world. Watch out, in this year of Covenant Highways, people that used to mock you will be attracted to your God. John 3:8. That is you.
Who am I from God’s perspective?
1. I am redeemed for unending progress.
Proverbs 4:18. From this time on, you will never record a better last year again. He showed me this October 4th, I was waiting on the Lord in a fast for 5 days. He said, “I have not designed life for ups and downs but for ups and ups.” Then I said I am not prepared for a better last year all my days. That has continued. Every year is a big plus on the previous because you found it and you believed it. 2 Corinthians 3:14. He spread a veil on their faces so they can’t access things. Jesus came and lifted the veil off our faces. Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 3:18. From glory to glory, not glory to reproach, glory to glory. That is how everyone’s life will be from today. Henceforth, it shall be to you from glory to glory. In your health, from glory to glory. In your family life, from glory to glory. In your career and business, from glory to glory. The Psalmist said I have been young and now I am old, I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread.
• No one in your lineage will be mistaken for a beggar.
• Untimely death is cursed in everyone’s family.
I am redeemed for unending progress. From today, unending progress becomes my new experience.
2. I am redeemed to command exploits after the order of Abraham.
Whatever God said to Abraham, He said to you and me. We are now partakers of the blessings of Abraham through redemption. Galatians 3:13-14. Isaiah 51:1-3. We are redeemed to command exploits after the order of Abraham. Abraham was a strong nation. His nephew was captured, he armed his own trained soldiers, he went after them, conquered them and rescued his nephew. He had 318 strong men in his army. Not two or three ‘maiguard’, men that could take a nation. Isaiah 60:22. Men like strong nations will start rising. They may not look like it but they are engraced to be it as they are consistent in walking in the light. They are engraced to be it. Church Gist. Every seed of Abraham is a global citizen. Every seed of Abraham is a global citizen. He may end up in a local corner but potentially by redemption and by the Abrahamic covenant, he is a global citizen. The problem is that we are looking for that global thing, no! Just keep doing what he tells you to do. Step by step, He is taking you on. There was ‘World Outreach Centre’ on our signboard when we were six, so that mockers can mock but we knew where we are going. ‘The hour has come to liberate the World’ what you look like is irrelevant. Is the world not been liberated now? Only God knows how many ministries are hooked on to this service right now without anybody asking them to hook on. Across the nations of the world. What God says is more important than what is happening to you. What is written is higher than what is happening to you. Keep doing what He says to do, what is written will soon come to pass. Church Gist. If you are not obedient where you are, you are not going any further. If you are faithful with little, you will be entrusted with much. If you are not faithful with little, who will entrust you with much? With 10 kobo in your hand, you can’t come to Church. Is that the person that will become a nation? No! He will start his own faith and write his own Bible. ‘Yeah! I am now a nation” They don’t announce it.
We had a very humbling International Ministers’ Conference. We didn’t do any promo or anything and 92 nations registered. Glory to God. You are changing levels. As a seed of Abraham, I am a global citizen ordained to impact on my world while I live. Church Gist. You will, no matter what you may look like now, you will if you keep following Him, He will make you what He has ordained to make of you. He said follow me and I will make you. Matthew 4:19. You are ignorant and unlearned but I will make you. He will make you.
3. I am redeemed a king to reign on the earth.
We have talked about that a lot. We are a peculiar people, we are a royal priesthood. Church Gist. There is royal blood running through your veins. Not over your village, global royal blood. 1 Peter 2:9.
Praise is one vital key to unlock the supernatural. Church Gist. A lifestyle of praise is a big covenant plus in operating in the realm of the supernatural. Why?
1. God does fearful things in praise.
Exodus 15:11. He does fearful wonders in praise. God inhabits the praises of His people to do His fearful wonders. When praise becomes a believer’s lifestyle, fearful wonders become his natural experience. Praise the Lord, God is good and it is coming from his soul. Listen to me and I am telling you the truth in Christ, I have not seen one thing that Jesus did wrong to me. I have zero complaints against Him or His word. There are times I didn’t get it right and I accepted so I can know how to get it right. Have you ever found anyone contending with God and prospered? So why waste your time? What will your argument do to Him? His name is I am that I am. He is the I AM. You can’t do anything against the truth but for the truth. That is the way to stand. Do you want to live a praiseful life? Church Gist. Don’t ever look for a case against God. Don’t ever look for a case against God. Whatever happens to any one of us, God is not to blame. We must have missed some steps and we need to recover ourselves by saying ‘Jesus I know you never do wrong. Show me the way to recovery.’ Do you know why Job stayed so long in his trouble? He was heaping cases against God. One day, God said to him, Job you will kill yourself. Come let me ask you one question. He said I repent in dust and ashes. God is never to blame. You are not a tither and your business crashes, you are saying God! God! Didn’t you see it there? I have not gone down once, I am not talking about your Church, I am talking about my life. Church Gist. Because I engage with my covenant obligation that keeps the heavens open. God, what is going on? Boy, what is happening? Don’t you know it? you should. If you want to see God’s fearful acts as a way of life? Be praiseful. Let God be true and all men liars. Don’t heap up cases against God, it is a risk. He is the one that sustains the breath in your nostrils right now, if He stops it, you can’t do anything and I can’t do anything. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
We saw praise as a covenant trigger for the supernatural. Acts 16:25-30. Paul and Silas were locked up in a prison, they prayed and nothing seemed to happen. Then they sang praises aloud. The prisoners heard them and suddenly the foundations of the prisons were shaken. Every man’s bonds were loose. The doors were opened. The supernatural broke through. We saw again in 2 Chronicles 20:22-24, as they began to sing and to praise, God set ambushments against the adversaries and turned them against themselves. Church Gist. They helped to destroy one another until no one escaped. Those wonders happened by that trigger of praise. My prayer is that everything that murmurs and complains in anyone is rooted out today. Murmuring and complaining will not be heard in your habitation again. It is a brand new day for you. The battle is over.
I once shared with you that I was coming in from the Old Church, Capernaum. I was there with my good friend, Dr Mike Murdock. When we got back here, He said “Do you know something? Church Gist. You have thank you Jesus, praise the Lord 72 times between that place and here. It must be an addiction”. I said that is true.
Praise is a vital requirement for fresh oil. Psalm 92:1-2, 10-15. That is how powerful praise is. It triggers a release of fresh oil which enhances our command of the supernatural.
Furthermore, we command the supernatural by the words of our mouths because our words are spiritual seeds. You shall have whatsoever you say. Ecclesiastes 5:6. Jesus said the seed is the Word of God. So every word you speak is a seed you sow. Genesis 8:20-22. ‘nothing works. It has never worked for me’ you are sowing a seed of not working. Stop that! Proverbs 18:21. Wake up in the morning “This is a great day the Lord has made. I shall rejoice and be glad in it. Church Gist. It is not a day of being cast down. It is a day of gladness and rejoicing’. That is what He made the day for. By the words of our mouth, we are justified and by the words of our mouth, we are condemned. No one here shall be condemned.
It is our last moment of the Covenant Day of Open Doors. How do we sustain a life of open doors?
1. God’s agenda for us is to operate in the realm of open doors all through our journey in life.
Revelation 3:8.
For this to happen, one must key doing the following:
– Keep following the leading of the Lord. (Psalm 23)
Goodness and mercy will keep following me as I follow Him as my shepherd. Keep following His leading, don’t just jump in your own understanding. Proverbs 16:14. If you let God lead you, no door can be shut against you. Because when God leads, He goes before the people He leads. Can any door be shut against God? When you let God lead you, no door can be shut against you. Please get it right, let God lead you. Isaiah 48:21. A gushing in the desert is when God leads. His leading is as laid out in His Word. Just follow the dictates of His Word because some things you can hear and mishear but the Word has been tried in fire seven times. Follow the leading of His Word. I knew when He led me into the realm of Kingdom Prosperity and I screamed ‘Ye! I can never be poor’. I knew when He showed me the pathway to hitch-free marriage, I knew. I knew when He showed me the secret of Church Growth and I was speaking to them like speaking to crowds which they could not see. Don’t think I am mad, I am speaking to crowds you cannot see. They are all there. Church Gist. They are all outside. No matter what Church building we have, people will be outside. That is what I saw. People are outside now as we are here. The first time we came here, we were only on this wing. I said we will soon start a second service. Papa has started again. Is this how to start a second service? You better don’t mock the prophetic and endeavour to maximize it. If you will let God lead you, all doors will lift up their heads for you. Psalm 24:7. How did we enter 83 nations in one year without any stress? God! God who said go into those nations. Church Gist. He went before and blasted the doors open. How did you get to plant 5000 churches in the midst of COVID? God said plant. He went on and did it. Allow God to lead you Sir. There is no greener pasture anywhere than where God leads. Psalm 23:2. Greener pasture is as I follow Him, not as I saw or you will enter into a brown pasture. Dry with nothing happening. Let God lead you. The Lord said to me ‘October 1st 1983, I am committed to leading you if you are committed to following me”. He doesn’t lead Jack and Harry, He looks and sees if you are interested in Him leading you. I closed my Bible, Lord thank you. I have found what I came for. Isaiah 48:17. Church Gist. Please be committed to following Him, He never leads awrong. He never misleads, He always leads forward. He never leads backwards. Allow Him to lead you. Don’t let friends lead you. Allow Him to lead you. Don’t let circumstances lead you, Allow God to lead you. This place was a dreary desert. God said this is the place and it turned into a watered garden. Allow God to lead you. It may appear slow but it is ever sure. Allow God to lead you. Do you want to leave the doors open? Allow God to lead you, He will go before you and make every iron gate to lift up their heads. It is your new level.
– Keep serving God and the interests of His kingdom as a priority, not as a subsidiary.
I entered that in 1976, this is 2023 and I have not had one regret. Make serving God a priority of your life. Let your budgeting of time, energy and resources show it. You don’t tell me that you are in business so you can’t read your Bible, you will go to red in no time. You better wake up and take spiritual responsibility. Keep serving God and the interest of His kingdom not for a show. Not so they can see you, from the depth of your heart and you know what? Favour will never stop. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things others are dying for shall be added unto you. Precious people of God, have we ever prayed on the Ark Project in this Church? We just see the video and clap ‘Thank you Jesus’. That is when favour is at work. That is the kind of favour you will be getting now. Psalm 102:13-15. When did you pray for 83 new churches to be planted across 83 nations in this Church? He led, we followed, favour also followed. No games. Church Gist. Sir, we gathered people to train that we will send out and after the first night, I said the Lord told me that you should go back, we are not using you. They came from outside the country. It is never late to be right as far as I am concerned. Anything God says is final. Everyone manning those churches, we didn’t need any paper. They already had papers.
– Every stress in your life will be over.
You can’t be a man of yourself. You can’t make yourself. Job 36:11. That is you. Haggai 1:9-10. Just find out what may be wrong and put it right and you find God’s favour. Exodus 23:25-26. Can you get that in any company? God is taking you somewhere.
– Maintain the joy of the Lord always to secure His presence which guarantees open doors
Although nothing is happening, keep rejoicing. Church Gist. He will show up and make your feet like hind feet and get you to walk on your high places. You are stepping out on your high places. Habakkuk 3:17-19.
Receive grace to take covenant responsibility.
– Grace to take spiritual responsibility is one more time imparted on your life.
– Grace to commit to searching of the scriptures so as to gain command of the supernatural, receive it now in the name of Jesus.
– Grace to keep living the Jesus kind of life, a life that pleases God. Receive it now in the name of Jesus.
– Grace to go deeper in the knowledge of the truth, receive it now in the name of Jesus.
– I decree unending open doors in your life.
– As you let God lead you, every gate will lift up their head for you.
– As you keep serving God and the interest of His kingdom, nothing goes down in your hand.
– As you keep celebrating God, He will turn you into celebrities among men. Church Gist.
– The week is declared your week of open doors. It is declared your week of new beginnings. Everyone’s spiritual life takes a new turn this week.
– So shall it be.
– Every blessing proclaimed on you, I decree them into testimonies.
– As your faith catches up with these things, they become realities in your life.
Next Sunday is our Covenant Day of Breaking Invisible Barriers. Every barrier on your path shall crumble.
