Acts 10:38. Subject is the “MINISTRY OF JESUS”. Tonight we want to look briefly on what the Ministry or the Assignment of Jesus represents. Church Gist. Our objective is to understand the pillars of the ministry of Jesus and also to understand the secret of the ministry of Jesus.
When I talk about the ministry of Jesus, I am talking of the assignment of Jesus, the service of Jesus to individuals and families and even to nations. Church Gist. I believe that God is visiting the nation of Tanzania with His ministry and there’s a change of story coming upon Tanzania.
– you believe that, shout the loudest Amen.
There’s a 5-fold ministry of Jesus that I want to draw our attention to tonight. What does Jesus come to do?
1. It is the ministry of going where the people and touching them where they hurt. It’s a ministry of rescue for the lost, the frustrated and the tormented. Church Gist. That is the reason why we are coming all the way to Tanzania and Dodoma. That is the reason why people have come from Dar es Salaam and people are coming all the way from Nairobi, Kenya and from everywhere because that is the ministry of Jesus – going where the people are and touching them where they hurt.
– I believe that there are people seated here today, in the name that is above every other name, maybe you think that nobody knows where you are and where you hurt but I came here to advertise Jesus to you and to let you know that He knows where you are and where you hurt and He shall meet you right there, right now, in the name of Jesus Christ!
2. It is the ministry of arresting the agenda of evil. “He went about doing good”. “He went about doing good” means he went about to arrest the agenda of evil. Church Gist. We live in a world today, a world of evil, witchcraft and demonic powers affecting and tormenting nations, families, communities and individuals.
– I am here by the anointing of Jesus to announce to somebody here today that every agenda of evil in your life and family is hereby arrested in the name of Jesus!
– the agenda of evil in the nation of Tanzania is arrested in the name of Jesus Christ!
3. It is the ministry of the release of the goodness of God. Jesus Christ came to show the world the goodness of God. To show the world how good God is and that we serve a good God, a merciful God, a dependable and reliable God. Church Gist. That we serve a God who is essentially and extremely good. That we serve a benevolent God. That we serve a God whose character is the character of benevolence and giving.
– I announce to someone here today, in every area of your life where you desire the goodness of God, that goodness of God shall be experienced and expressed in your life in the name of Jesus.
– somebody lift your hands and say after me, “In the name of Jesus, I shall experience the goodness of God in this season! I shall experience the goodness of God in my life.
4. It is the ministry of the relief of affliction and the release of healing. Just now, we have seen people healed just by the ministry of Jesus. Church Gist. Jesus goes about to relieve afafflictions.
-Is there any affliction in your body, are you a victim of diabetes, hypertension, peptic ulcer disease, terminal diseases like cancer, maybe you came here, maybe there’s a loved one at home connected, related or associated with you that is dying of cancer or afflicted by a disease, I am here to announce to you today, there’s a release, there’s a balm in Gilead. I take authority over that spirit of infirmity. I declare the release of that devil to hell and I declare, receive your healing and the healing for your loved one, in the name of Jesus!
5. It is the ministry of deliverance from enemy operation and captivity. Anywhere the devil has put a person in prison and in chains, Jesus comes to give them deliverance. Church Gist. Deliverance from generational curses, ancestral curses and family curses. Deliverance from witchcraft activity, deliverance from the activity of the occult, deliverance from life’s limitation, deliverance from stagnation.
– I stand here by the mantle of God and I declare today, everyone that is a victim of bondage, scarcity and captivity, everyone the enemy has put in any form of prison, I declare, you are out of that prison right now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
What is the secret in the name of Jesus Christ? I will give you two secrets:
1. The presence of God
2. The power of the Holy Spirit.
God was with him, God anointed Him with the Holy Ghost and Power. It is the presence of God and then the power of the Holy Spirit. If you would press into God and make demands on His presence for your life, yourself, you can see the ministry of Jesus Christ and if you would make demands of the power of the Holy Spirit, you can also experience the ministry of Jesus.
