By redemption we have been made to sit with Christ far above every principality and power, so we are not permitted to live under circumstances. Now everything that has put you under will clear the way today. God never lies, whatever is from above is above all. So today, you are escaping under financial pressures for life, not for a moment but for life. Church Gist. Walking in the light puts you above darkness, any day, anytime and anywhere. Light is the master of darkness, any day, anywhere and any time. The light that will put you over at all times will break forth in your direction today. So shall it be in Jesus’ name. Every outbreak of light equals a supernatural breakthrough in life. Isaiah 60:1-3, 8.
As the Lord lives, every air of darkness around anyone’s life shall be shattered by the light from heaven. Church Gist. It will never cease to show as you keep walking in that light in Jesus’ name.
UNVEILING THE BREAKTHROUGH POWER OF LOVE 3
What is love in our context? Among others, love is denying oneself for Christ’s sake. 1 Corinthians 9:23. What is love? Love is a lifestyle of delightsome obedience to God’s commandments. Church Gist. 1 John 5:3. Psalm 112:1-3. Delightsome obedience to His commandments concerning divine supplies is what secures it. It is not just obedience on trade by barter basis. Love motivated obedience.
What is in love that engenders breakthroughs?
1. Love stirs up our spirit of stewardship both in season and out of season which keeps us under His blessings.
Exodus 23:25. So what love does is to keep our spirit man stirred up in serving God in season and out of season. When it seems to be working and when it seems not to be working, in season and out of season. Habakkuk 3:17-19. It keeps us going after God in season and out of season. Ecclesiastes 8:6-7. Songs of Solomon 8:7. Paul said what can separate us from the love of God and he listed all the calamities you can imagine. Love makes you unshiftable, you are stable. Church Gist. You have heard me say that I said to the Lord, “Jesus, whatever you cannot do in my life let it remain undone. Whatever you can’t give me Jesus, may I never have it and wherever you cannot take me, may I never get there.”
2. Love stabilizes you and that puts you on the frequency of unending blessings.
This Paul, the lover of God said in Acts 26:22. Church Gist. In the midst of his challenges, he was still ministering life to people. Love keeps you on, it keeps me going.
3. Love provides access to revelation that engenders divine strength for exploits.
John 15:15, Daniel 11:32. We are in the days of exploits so you need divine strength not this mechanical strength to be listed among men and women of exploits. You need divine strength. Revelation is a fountain or a channel of strength for the believer. Daniel 11:32. We are in the days of exploits in the Body of Christ. Psalm 87 is a very clear picture of the end-time agenda of God. Psalm 87:1-7. Church Gist. The men and women that matter the most in the end time shall be domiciled in Zion. They shall be Zionists, people who are dwelling with God and His business on the earth. We are in the days of exploits in the Body of Christ and we need divine strength to be enlisted as candidates for these awesome days of exploits in the Body of Christ.
4. Love makes great things to keep happening on their own accord in the life of the believer.
Matthew 6:33, Romans 8:28. Being in love with God puts you in command of all things that others are struggling to make happen. They keep happening in your life on their own accord. Church Gist. Being in love with God puts you in command of all things that make for life and godliness. We need to know that. Every lover of God enjoys His unending favour as a way of life. Fearful favour attends to them. Unexplainable but undeniable favour is their lot.
How that ties with what we are doing today because today is our Covenant Day of Financial Fortune. Everything that works in the Kingdom requires love for delivery. It is the first and great commandment that makes great. Love is the first and great commandment that makes great. Matthew 26:36-40. All the provisions of scriptures deliver on that platform. If you don’t have that, you don’t have anything. For instance, faith works by love. Revelation is accessed and delivered by love. Giving works by love. So the covenant of abundance works by love. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3. So our love for God is fundamental to our ultimate in life, there is no shortcut. Everything that works in the Kingdom works by love.
Today, I want to set some things in place. There are thirty nuggets of financial fortune that the Lord is asking me to put across to you. You have heard plenty of things about giving, plenty of things about sacrifice. Let’s lay some fundamentals that will help us maximize this provision.
We serve a covenant keeping God. Psalm 89:34. God’s covenant of abundance is as binding on Him as His covenant with the day and the night. Jeremiah 33:20-21. Among others, Supernatural prosperity is ordained a vital feature of every revival. Every move of God comes among others with financial fortune which is required to keep that move going. Habakkuk 3:2, 17-19. That young man got the Word, engaged with the Word and then the business turned into millions of dollars. It is in a revival. “Through prosperity shall my house be spread abroad” (Zechariah 1:17). Church Gist. So a lot of prosperity always accompanies a revival as people engage on the covenant platform. So there will be a lot of inflow of divine resources to the Body of Christ to execute that Matthew 24:14 agenda. The glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former. The silver is mine and the gold is mine says the Lord and I am looking for who can be trusted with it. Kingdom wealth is not an achievement, it is an entrustment. Luke 16:11. It is an entrustment, how much can you be entrusted with?
Our heritage of financial fortune in redemption anchors on the law of seedtime and harvest. No shortcut. Please note that we have an heritage of financial fortune, 2 Corinthians 8:9. Revelation 5:12. Church Gist. It is our heritage but that delivers on the platform of seedtime and harvest. No one’s opinion is respected in this regard. You are either on or you are off. Now, let’s start.
1. In our context, that is in the kingdom, a covenant is a deal enacted by God based on well-defined terms and sealed with an oath. It is God saying I have this for you if you will do this and I swear to make it happen. That is a covenant. Hebrews 6:12-15. Church Gist. A covenant is an oath sworn. It is a deal, sworn to by an oath. God’s covenant with Abraham was sealed by an oath. A covenant is a deal enacted by God based on well-defined terms and sealed with an oath for delivery.
2. A covenant is an agreement between God and man where God is committed to make good His promise when man’s obedience is fully in place. Deuteronomy 8:18. When our obedience to the terms is in place, God is committed to deliver. Deuteronomy 28:1-13. Church Gist. That shows what our obedience will attract on the terms of the Covenant of abundance among others. If you read that scripture through to verse 13, everything is covered by one key – the key of delightsome obedience.
3. God’s prosperity is not a promise but a covenant and until our part is played, God’s integrity cannot be committed to perform. Genesis 8:20-22. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8. You sow sparingly, you reap sparingly. It is the same, sowing and reaping. That is the covenant. No one will ever flow in fortune without an anchor on this law. Church Gist. The overriding law in the covenant of abundance is the law of sowing and reaping which also translates to giving and receiving. You find sowing and reaping in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, you find giving and receiving in Philippians 4:15-19. So if you are not disposed to giving, you are not a candidate.
4. The covenant of financial prosperity is superior to all prevailing economic circumstances. It is not subject to all prevailing economic circumstances. There was a heated famine in Egypt in Genesis 47:15-27, everything was down to the point that people were offering their bodies to be sold. Israel, God’s covenant people dwelt in the same country and they grew and multiplied exceedingly despite the heated famine. Psalm 33:18-19. It has no respect! So nobody is down because of the economic circumstance, you are down because you are off the covenant. You cannot be down. Your Church is building by the hand of God that Ark Project in the midst of crazy dollars. No pressure! What is the matter? Don’t over-celebrate the devil. He is out of the equation when you are in line with God. Walking with God gets the devil off the equation. Church Gist. “You know it is a Church” Has the Church ever forced you to give anything in your life? When we had #18,600 income in a year we didn’t borrow. I am talking about open heaven, get to connect. The taste of the pudding is in the eating, come and taste and you know that the Lord is good. It is no game. We draw zero from any foreign nation. No game! In the name of Jesus, every form of financial pressure will go off your life today. Preaching won’t change your story, it is structured teaching that will do it. He said there was no law and there were no teaching priests. It is not the preaching, it is the structured teaching where you get to have the keys to engage. If you can’t stop the sun from shining, you can’t stop God’s covenant from working. Jeremiah 33:20-21.
5. The covenant of seedtime and harvest has no regional or racial discrimination. You can go to any part of the Word, it doesn’t change it. You are not doing it, you are not doing it. It is not about our strength or our skill, it is about God’s blessings which maketh rich and adds no sorrow which is only accessible on His terms not on our terms. One thing that changed my mentality forever is Romans 10:12. Redemption has made the whole world of one blood. No difference! God is not a racist, God is just God and He is God of the whole earth! A friend of mine asked me years ago, how do you get to pay for all this? I said faith. He said what do you mean? I said faith is a universal currency. It holds the same value across every nation of the earth. Just line up with what God says, it will deliver anywhere in the world and in the same way it delivered in past generations. I like us to change our thinking because until our mind is renewed our lives cannot be transformed. We need a renewal of mind. What is this about? There is nothing superior in the white man above the black. It is all about mentality. There is no difference between the yellow man and the green man, it is all about mentality. For as a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Redemption is a platform of equality for mankind. Church Gist. Revelation 5:9. Redemption is a covenant platform of equality for humanity. Schooled and unschooled, no difference learned or unlearned, no difference. Otherwise, how will a man like R.G. Letourneau build a university without going to school, he became a major inventor by trading Matthew 6:33. Equality! You heard someone here say ‘I, who was a bus conductor, now own a company in Nigeria, I travel abroad to the U.K. and the U.S, I, who was a bus conductor, I am now married and I have children. Your degree is nonsense, it is your heart my friend. Imbibe the equality truth regarding redemption. Someone from the West asked me what needs have you in your ministry? I said our ministry has no needs. Mentality matters. In 1987. The needy mentality we carry is dangerous. Black is not synonymous with lack. I said that years ago. That you are black does not mean you are a victim of lack. Mentality! What God is doing at the Ark has never happened in the history of the Church anywhere in the World in past generations. I am yet to be in a Church that has ‘travellators’. That you land on your floor and you get on the rail to go wherever you are going. That is what He did here. Were we competing? No! He designed it because He has the money to fund it. God sent me, go back home and make my people rich. I have a mandate. It is not somebody saying it or I am just teaching it. If you can’t be made rich under this apostolic mandate, I don’t know what else you want to do because it is not about what you do for someone, it is about what you are doing for yourself.
I was in America in 1987 and I had these various engagements, the Lord said to me in that hotel, Embassy Suites, Tulsa, “Get back home and make my people rich.” I cancelled all other engagements and I returned home the following day. I thought it was going to be a press button and make happen thing. There is no one who has cared to embrace the light that God gave me on this subject that has not experienced a breakthrough, not one. The covenant of seed time and harvest has no respect for regional or racial… for those who have run away from their various countries it won’t change your story. Church Gist. If you must enjoy financial fortune, you must anchor your life on the covenant of seedtime and harvest or you can labour and labour for the next twenty years and have nothing to show for it. Somebody had 10,000 after twelve years of legal practice. When he switched over to the covenant, Boom! Millions. Again, my prayer is that you will take this covenant injection as they come to you today and engage with them.
Giving is the anchor of the covenant that breeds financial fortune. Job 22:21-27. There is a law that launches men into realms of financial fortune! It is the law of giving and receiving. You lay up gold as dust and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brook. Luke 6:38. “Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed together and running over” is not a chorus, it is a mystery. In this case, sowing and reaping are simply giving and receiving as mentioned earlier. Philippians 4:15-19. Scripturally, every seed sown is a spiritual transaction that procures for us fearful favour from God. We saw Abraham reared an altar to God and a voice sounded from heaven. Church Gist. It was not a transaction between Abraham and the Church but between Abraham and God. We saw Noah reared an altar of sacrifice in Genesis 8:20-22 and God smelled a sweet savour. God lives in heaven. God smelled the savour of Noah’s sacrifice in heaven. Solomon reared an altar of a thousand burnt offerings to the Lord in 1 Kings 3:3-5 and God came down in response. “What do you want me to do for you, the smoke of your sacrifice has filled my throne room?”. He said “He that giveth to the poor lendeth unto the Lord” (Proverbs 19:17). So giving to the poor is reckoned with in heaven. Every seed sown is a spiritual transaction that procures for us fearful favour from God. Genesis 22:16-18. Transgenerational blessings through the altar of sacrifice as the heavens responded. So have this transaction mentality, it will ease your giving life. Hebrews 7. Your tithe is not with the ushers and the counters, they received them in heaven. There is a spiritual transaction in our giving. I one time reared an altar of sacrifice to the Lord and He said “My son, David, even if you don’t want to be rich, it is too late”. He heard it. It answered there.
When we access the secret of abundance as Job did, we are supernaturally empowered for wealth. Job became the greatest businessman of his time and he traced it to the secrets of God that were in his Tabernacle. Access to the secrets of God made him the greatest businessman of his day. Interestingly of course, every kingdom secret is an open secret. What you hear in darkness, speak ye in light. Matthew 10:27. Christianity is not cultism. No! Every secret in the Kingdom is an open secret accessible by whosoever is interested and will get on the appropriate frequency to access. Matthew 5:14-15. So anything I show you is an open one. There are no private revelations, neither are there private testimonies in the kingdom, what God says to one. He says to all. What he does for one, he does for all. Mark 13:37. Psalm 119:111. That woman touched the hem of his garment and she was made whole in Matthew 9. Church Gist. By Chapter 14, as many as touched him after the order of the woman were made perfectly whole. You are going to see an explosion in your own life. To access divine secrets – be born again, be committed to walking in the fear of God, stay in love with God, possess a meek spirit, maintain an open heart to receive (Hebrews 3:8). Revelation 3:17-20. You open your heart, I will come in, you shut it, I can’t come in. I will only guide the meek on the way to go. I have nothing to do with the proud. If you want to know the way to go, come with meekness. The secrets of the Lord are with them that fear Him, not those living like Jack and Harry. Psalm 25:14. Be born again otherwise you can’t see what God is showing concerning the Kingdom.
As we round up today, please take note of the following 20 facts.
1. The Bible is a book of kingdom prescriptions and not just a book of admonitions.
2. They are instructions of Christ who is the living Word. John 1:1-5, 2:5. Proverbs 4:13.
3. They are the prescriptions of Christ who is the Great Physician prophesied way back in the book of Zechariah. Matthew 9:12. He introduced Himself as the Physician. We call him the Great Physician because when he landed and was teaching in their synagogues, he was healing all manner of sicknesses and diseases. No physician has speciality in all areas but he heals all manner of sickness and diseases. Beyond that, he went about healing all them that were oppressed of the devil which medical science has no answer to. Oppression of the devil is far beyond medical science. Church Gist. Medical science can’t trace the oppressions of the devil no matter where you go to. No matter which center of excellence you go to. They will tell you we don’t know the devil exists so we can’t define his oppression, only God can help you. When insanity is not an issue of psychological distortion, forget about medication only Jesus! When barrenness is an oppression of the devil, forget about medication, only Jesus. When family trauma becomes the way of life in your lineage, only Jesus. That is what makes him the Great Physician.
Now, follow this parable before we close, it will bless you. Any patient that engages in arguments with his doctor is doing that at the risk of his life. He said take this drug, two in the morning, two in the afternoon and two in the night. You say I am so busy this week, I will take them all at once. Is it not going into the same body? Then you gather them together six per day, multiplied by five and you take one by once. 🎵Sweet Chariot, coming forth to carry me home 🎵 The prescription of this Great Physician covers all issues of life. That is what makes Him the Great Physician. John 10:10. 2 Peter 1:3. His prescription covers all vital issues of life such as power. We need power in a wicked world. Revelation 5:12. Church Gist. Everything that we will need is summarized in that. So he has prescriptions to access delivery of those things. You are weak, you need strength, check my prescription. You are poor, you need escape, check my prescription. You don’t seem to know which way to go, check my prescription on how to access my wisdom. You are encompassed with issues of shame and reproach, check my prescription on how to access glory.
People argue today with the prescription of the Great Physician without knowing they are doing so at the risk of their own life both in the now and the hereafter. You don’t argue with ordinary physicians. You say Yes Sir to him and the Great Physician is telling you this is the way out of your trouble and you say you don’t think so. Okay, go and be thinking the way you think. His prescription is not subject to our opinion. Church Gist. We can’t do anything against the truth but for the truth. Somebody’s story is changing. Following the prescription of the Great Physician is what beautifies the destiny of believers. Your life shall be beautified. If you follow it, your life shall be thoroughly furnished. Why? Seventy five per cent of this book are His prescriptions, 25 per cent are His principles. 2 Timothy 3:16-17. You are either subscribing to His prescriptions or one keeps struggling with life.
As we all know, no one with the key to a door ever needs to struggle for access. So He gives us the keys at redemption. Free access to my prescription. Church Gist. Matthew 16:18-19. After Peter confessed Him as Lord and Saviour, He gave him the keys. So you have the keys, all you need to know how to engage with the keys. Isaiah 5:13, Luke 11:52.
The covenant of seedtime and harvest is the master key to a world of financial fortune in the kingdom. That cannot change. It is not subject to opinion. Many in this Church are operating in that realm now. Many around the world, ministers and ministries who have discovered this and it is working for them. It is your turn. It is not enough to discover the keys, we must continue to engage the key to retain access. Church Gist. You opened the door of your house before coming to Church and you closed it. You can’t enter without engaging the key. You must keep engaging the key to retain access. It is not a once and for all covenant. No! It is a once and again covenant. Many have done it for a while and they have backed out so access is blocked. It won’t be blocked against you.
God has no problem giving us what we have no problem giving back to Him. Hannah said, “Give me a man child and I will give him back to you all the days of his life.” You got it. So Samuel came in as an answer to this prescription. God has no problem giving to you and me what we have no problem giving back to Him. 1 Samuel 1:9-11, then in verse 20 Samuel came in answer to that mystery. Whatever you are not in a position to give back to Him, don’t expect Him to give it to you. You will worship it. God has no problem giving us in multiplied forms what we have no problem giving to Him. The little boy who gave the little lunch in John 6:9-13 went back with 12 baskets. He must have sold them because there is no way to carry that. 12 baskets of bread and fish for giving out a little lunch pack. Jesus won’t force you to give it. He gave it and returned with twelve baskets. God has no problem giving you what you have no problem giving Him. Church Gist. He returns it in multiplied form. No stress, no strain, God is not in need. If you don’t take care of the poor, somebody else will take care of them. So it is not a matter of if I don’t take care of them, what will happen. I told my son here to help me get an apartment for somebody who was homeless on the field and he should go ahead and help me look for furnishing for the house. Somebody else stood up and said we will take care of that. So if I don’t do what I did, somebody else will take care of that. So don’t brag that you are helping somebody. Who is helping the sparrows? As fat as the elephant is, who is feeding them in the forest? Don’t brag. If I didn’t take care of that boy, what would have happened to him? Good things will happen, better things will happen. I don’t know what furniture they bought for her but maybe it will be better than what we want to buy. God is not in need, be delighted in doing what you are doing. If you don’t pay tithe forever, the Kingdom won’t know it. Is it not from what He owns that He gave to you? If He is giving to you won’t He give to His own work? This will so help us as individuals and help us for life. The good news is a new day has finally dawned on your life. You won’t miss your portion.
God has no problem giving us what we have no problem giving out. I told you the story of a typical elephant that consumes 140 pounds of straw per day and discharges 100 pounds of manure per day. God has no problem giving us what we have no problem giving out. He only has problem giving us what we are going to accumulate until it becomes our god. God has no problem giving me what I have no problem giving out. Read this to yourself. It will change your mentality and reposition you for a life of stress-free financial fortune. He gave them the gold in Egypt. Who dash monkey banana? When He called for the gold they said no, we won’t give it. He called them to give gold for the building of the Tabernacle. Church Gist. They won’t go, three thousand were killed. Who is on the Lord’s side, they said they were not on the Lord’s side on this gold matter. We need this gold in the Promised Land. They never got there. It is like armed robbers asking you for your money or your life and you say your life. Then he will take your life and take your money because you are lifeless. Everything He gives you, He is giving you in trust. When you react against letting Him have it, it cuts off your access. He gave them the gold in trust, they didn’t know it. They thought they achieved it. Luke 16:11.
God will never bless any man beyond his capacity and willingness to be a blessing. If the elephant will not discharge at that rate, it will cease to be an elephant, it will die. If you consume 140 pounds and you discharge only 20 pounds, you are on your way to the grave. Unto whom much is given, much is required. When a cat discharges it is like the size it consumes, when a dog discharges it is like the size it consumes, when an elephant discharges, it is like the size of its consumption. Church Gist. God gave Isaac to Abraham and demanded him, Isaac with delight went ahead and now we are all blessed children of Abraham. Galatians 3:29. I feel the DNA of Abraham in my system. The mystery of redemption. God will never bless any man beyond his capacity to be a blessing. Genesis 12:3.
Giving as a way of life is the mystery behind the continuous flow of financial fortune. Proverbs 11:24-25. It is what we give that God multiplies back to us not what we know or what we pray or fast for. It is what we give that God multiplies. What we pray we get but what we give, we get back in multiplied form. Mark 10:28-30.
God tempts no man with evil, God will never commit to our trust beyond our capacity to discharge whenever required. You are going places. So start enlarging your coast by dreaming kingdom enlargement dreams. Some day Jesus, I will build you a church. Some day Jesus, I will furnish the church. Wherever you may be around the world, you are dreaming. Before I had the first bank account in my life, I was already dreaming that if God ever blessed me I want to be building churches. The money I had couldn’t go to any account. Church Gist. I didn’t have any dime in any account but I had it in my mind. I felt uneasy seeing churches being built for over years uncompleted. I said in my heart as a young man, if you bless me, Jesus. I will be building you churches. He said I hear my son, wait for me. I told the Lord some time back, Lord, I don’t want to build you less than one thousand churches before I come to heaven. I have built a hundred churches at the same time at least twice. We are going there gradually. Do you have any kingdom dreams? It is a mystery behind the flow of financial fortune.
Give God thanks. Light has come. A renewal of your commitment to the covenant of financial fortune is the end of your struggle. Give God thanks.
Can I have you say with me ‘My financial fortune heritage in redemption is real but I can only take delivery on His terms. Church Gist. So help me Jesus to align with your terms of financial abundance as my new way of life”.
I don’t want to threaten you but listen to this, if you are not a tither you are not a candidate. The journey begins with tithing. It is a transaction between here and heaven where the windows of heaven are opened. I don’t want to shock you again but I owe you that responsibility. If you are not a corporate tither, your system can be going through stress. God doesn’t need it, you need it. We got on that key in 1987. We have been flying and soaring. The day this Church will beg will never happen till Jesus comes. Never! Your business will never know any stress or strain again as you line up. That man said I used to get upset whenever it was mentioned until I said I better put this to work” and then things changed. Church Gist. Maybe some are in that condition. All that Papa said I like but this corporate tithing is not normal. Well done! Any truth not normal to you makes you a victim. You can’t get what He says because He can’t break His covenant. If you prosper and your business does not prosper, it will drain you. If all you have is the windows of heaven over your life and not over your business, can you imagine me going to pay the bills of this church? Which kind of prosperity is that? Nobody will tell you this, only a genuine father who desires for you to be better than him. What is your problem? Your business made #10,000 profit. What is the problem with #1,000 there? Your Salary is #300, what is the problem with #30? The giving grace is the way out, not the prayer of an apostle. Whether you are an apostle or a prophet, whether you are a founder or a worker in a ministry, without giving you can’t prosper.
One thing I can pray for you is grace to go and take covenant responsibilities. If I say Go and Prosper, It is a fake prayer. Prosperity is released on well-defined terms. I invoke the prosperity of this Church upon you, it is just emotion. It is not revelation. Grace to go and take covenant responsibility is the only prayer I can pray for you. If you let that prayer get answered then you are free. When I asked my grandmother why do you carry this money to Church every Sunday, she said that it is God’s portion that makes the remainder meaningful. It was her tithe from her business, every week. Church Gist. Won’t you give God His portion to make the remainder meaningful? How long will you be suffering? Somebody gave you #1000 free. He said give me #100 to acknowledge that you got it, you refused. Okay, where will you get the next 1000? Ask God when you meet Him if I have missed my tithe once. I know where it began, I know where grace has brought me to. You better stop playing games and carrying a big Bible around. Wake up and take responsibility.
Father in the name of Jesus, I pray over these precious saints for the release of grace to take responsibility so as to take delivery of their financial fortune heritage. Let it be in the name of Jesus. Church Gist. Everything contesting with your commitment comes under a curse. I, therefore, welcome you on that basis to a world of financial fortune. Lift your two hands and give God thanks.
