22nd July 1989: Frank Edwards is born. He is a Gospel Music Minister and the founder of Rocktown Records.

22nd July 1980:  Emmy Kosgei is born. She is a Gospel Music Minister and the wife of Apostle Anselm Madubuko, the Founder of Revival Assembly.

22nd July 2022: In commemoration of  RCCG’s 70th anniversary, Pastors Enoch and Folu Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) dedicates Enoch and Folu Adeboye Dialysis Centre in the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria.

22nd July 2019: Dunamis International Gospel Centre kicks off the maiden edition of the Gospel Music Ministers’ Conference with the theme ‘THE MINSTREL’. Along with the hosts, Pastors Paul and Becky Enenche;  Micah Stampley, Dr Panam Percy Paul and Nathaniel Bassey ministered at the conference.

22nd July 2005: Archbishop Nicholas Dikeriehi Orogodo Okoh is elected the Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Bendel by the Episcopal Synod. This was after Archbishop Albert Agbaje went home to be with the Lord.

22nd July 1822: Gregor Mendel is born. He was the Austrian monk and botanist who discovered the basic laws of genetic inheritance.
