Today, God will make you laugh and all that hear will laugh with you.
Jesus visit everyone uniquely today in the name of Jesus. We were at that very powerful Leadership Empowerment Summit yesterday and a word came forth. For every dedicated believer, God usually springs up surprises. When you are dedicated to God, you are a candidate for His surprises. He unusually springs surprises in the lives of dedicated individuals. Stay dedicated, surprises never end with God. The sanctuary you are in today sprang as a surprise. There was no plan, there was no dream, there was no confession. He just came down and said, “I will be dedicating this place 18th of September”. Church Gist. Stay dedicated, surprises never end. I have lived with surprises all my life. It never came to my mind to buy an aircraft. Aircraft? For what? He just walked in and said, “It is time to get the aircraft”. You are going on your own “The harvest of Africa is now overripe, now move out of Nigeria and invade Africa” In May. We have a closed budget in November. Is that extrabudgetary? Surprises never end with God for the dedicated believer. It is this going in and out that has stalled the surprise. You are just about hitting it and then you withdraw.
I shared with them yesterday that the payday is the 30th and then by the 25th “If God will do anything at least there should be signs”. What sign do you get for salary? Salary will wait until payday. There is no sign. 28th and Satan says “If God has anything for you, there should be signs by now. You are not a dummy”. You say you are not doing again and the payday is the 30th. 28 wasted labour days. There are many believers like that. They are just in a cycle. Church Gist. The next time he bounces back and closes on the 29th at 5pm, the following day is the payday. Stay dedicated! Surprises never end with dedicated believers who care to stay dedicated in season and out of season. We are a church of surprises even to ourselves we are a surprise. When others are surprised about one thing, you are surprised about yourself. You are hitting your season of surprises. On the right surprises, on the left surprises. Everywhere you step into surprises. The earth brings forth of its own, no struggle. Stay in the ground, stay dedicated, it always happens.
WALKING IN DOMINION OVER SICKNESS AND DISEASES is our teaching series for our Sunday services for this great month. Remember the prophetic focus for the month is I WILL RESTORE HEALTH UNTO YOU AND HEAL THEE OF ALL THY WOUNDS. Jeremiah 30:16-17. As the Lord lives who sent me, no one Winner will go through this month with any element of sickness and disease remaining in his life. Just take time to key into the Word. Church Gist. God has no other means of restoring our health outside of His Word. Jeremiah 8:22. They don’t know the balm, they don’t know the physician so they keep walking all around getting afflicted but your case is different. Everybody is saying a final goodbye to sickness and disease this month. Not only in your life but also in your household. Sickness and disease shall no longer hold sway in your household. Jeremiah 8:22.
By way of introduction, the end time Church is ordained to walk in dominion in all spheres of life. Including dominion over sickness and disease before Christ returns. Psalm 110:2. Matthew 16:26-28. We will be ruling over the works of the devil in this end time, which includes all oppressions of sickness and diseases. Psalm 110:1-3. Isaiah 33:24. Remember our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and wicked spirits in high places. So it is not a physical battle, so we must be very well armed with our spiritual weapons. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6. The weapons of our warfare may not be tangible but they don’t lack proof. Don’t let any devil corrupt your mind on how efficient it is. It has enough power to bring a four-day-old dead back to life. Church Gist. There is no match under the sun when it comes to health and vitality outside the Word. When God became their healer, there was not one feeble person among their tribes for 40 years. Their legs were not swollen for 40 years when they recognized Jehovah Rapha as the Great Physician. Not one feeble person among their tribes. Psalm 105:37. Deuteronomy 8:3-4. Jehovah Rapha has come to indwell the midst of His people and rid us of all satanic oppressions of sickness and disease. You are coming out.
So when we receive Him not only as our Saviour but as our healer, feebleness and weakness are not permitted, talk less of sickness. I like you to be very sensitive because as the Word is going forth and your heart is open, God’s power is gone forth with it to restore your health. Everybody’s health shall be duly restored. Many are leaving here today without any trace of pain anymore in their lives because Jesus the Great Physician is in the house. Church Gist. We must not allow anyone to despise the proven weapons in our hands which have continued to command undeniable proof both in our lives and in our midst. They look simple but they are so powerful. Simple but powerful. Goliath said, “Am I a dog that you come to me with sticks and stones?” He disdained him but David had told them earlier “I have proven these things. Saul, carry your weapon away. These simple things you are looking at can bring down any man”. It brought down Goliath. Don’t let any devil despise what you carry. What you carry is superior to whatever thing is obtainable anywhere else in the world. They can’t match it.
From scriptures, we understand that most sicknesses are direct oppressions of the devil. So Jesus went about doing good and healing all those that were oppressed by the devil. Now listen to me, there is no medical expertise under the sun that can deal with satanic oppression. So forget about running up and down if it is an oppression of the devil. There are some physiological challenges, that is okay. Some work themselves to some dead end only mercy restores them. I have been there many times. When it is an oppression of the devil, forget about “I am going to California”. You can go to any area, only Jesus has the capacity to heal people that are oppressed of the devil. Church Gist. That woman spent all her resources on physicians and could not be healed until Jesus came in. It was a clear oppression of the devil. That woman bowed over, Jesus said Satan bound her for eighteen years. There is no spinal expert under the sun that can help her. It was the devil that bowed her. People are running helter-skelter for nonsense because they have money. If it is an oppression of the devil, until you run to Jesus you are not going anywhere. If Jesus can’t do it, no one else can. We have seen four IVFs here that failed and Jesus said “My son, are you tired? Come and collect it”. Church Gist. He is the master baby maker who is fearfully and wonderfully made. When it is an oppression of the devil there is no IVF that can solve it. Jesus only. Anyone that carries any oppression of the devil down here this morning, I know who sent me. He said the hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the Word of Faith and I am sending you to undertake it. I didn’t send myself. I didn’t come because I like to preach.
There was a man that was impotent in the old church, he was in the gallery and I said ‘Satan has no power over you” his body surged. So this morning I am glad to let you know under this canopy that Satan has no power over you. Every arrow of the devil behind your situation returns back to the sender now. Church Gist. Every arrow of the wicked behind anyone’s situation right here now in this service whether online or on ground here, returns back to sender sevenfold. God couldn’t bring Israel out until He slew the firstborn of Egypt.
– Every hold of the wicked behind your captivity is visited with judgement today.
So wake up, it is a prophetic service so tune in please.
Among the foul spirits behind sickness and diseases:
1. The spirit of fear
No matter how spiritual you are, the moment you give room to fear you have opened the door to the wicked. Job was a perfect man, a man that fears God and eschews evil. God said do you know my servant, Job? There is no one like him on the earth. He was a highly spiritual man but he was a victim of fear. Job 3:24-25. Fear is the bait the devil uses to capture his victims. Church Gist. Fear! God has not given us the spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7), fear is a spirit. It is the spirit of the devil which is his bait to hold men captive. There is no injection or vaccine for fear. There is no surgery for fear. 2 Timothy 1:7.
There are things that engender fear. Proverbs 28:1. There is no peace to the wicked says the Lord. Isaiah 57:21.
i. A quality walk with God alleys fear. If you are followers of that which is good, who is he that will harm you? There is where to stand to overcome fear.
ii. Faith is a known cure for faith. Mark 4:40. No faith? There must be fear. It is like light and darkness. Where there is no light, darkness will prevail. Faith doesn’t jump on people, you build faith. Faith comes by hearing and understanding the Word of God. I went out to pray and I came back one of those days and I found my body stiff, I could not move while I lay in bed. My spirit man began to charge inside. Just let my mouth open and you will see fire. At that time I didn’t know that I could speak from the inside. My mouth opened and Jesus! I got free. I would have been dead a long time ago. Faith! I finished teaching on VICTORY OVER DEATH, a very strange subject in a seminar and death came and let’s try him out, what is he talking about? The room was turning and then suddenly because the spirit man had been fed with the Word of faith. Church Gist. I heard him charge “What are you doing here?” “I don’t know either” it just jumped out. That was it. I travelled on the same day.
I slept in the night and I had a dream and I saw myself in a coffin. I said poor devil, there is no wisdom, nor knowledge nor counsel in the grave. In my sleep… Feed on the word of faith. I said no one sees himself in a coffin and stays there. Your spirit man doesn’t sleep. Don’t store these things in your brain, your brain sleeps. I have been in the midst of danger of all kinds but stable at all times. Hebrews 4:6. Church Gist. Fear will take a toll on your life when you are not walking right with God and when there is no faith in your heart. You know most of the time we just emphasize anointing, you better watch. Many anointed men are blatant failures. It is by the Word of Faith that our destiny is secured. By the anointing on my life, I command the Spirit of fear to lose grip on you. For you to take responsibility to start walking right and building your faith against the day of battle.
One time we had this accident, my wife said “In Jesus’ name! In Jesus’ name” No! Once is enough. In Jesus’ name, too many times is not good for this kind of small thing. Church Gist. Once is enough! It is time to wake up, there is a shift in the world of the spirit. A shift from the realm of promises to the realm of covenants.
How do I keep fear away? Embrace righteousness as a lifestyle and commit to build your faith against the challenges of life and fear will pack his luggage and go. Church Gist. Fear has left you, now you leave it. Keep fear away from your territory by doing what God says to do.
Death cannot kill without fear. Hebrews 2:14:15. Subject to bondage through the fear of death. Death can’t kill you without the fear of death. Just like you catch a fish by putting a bait of an earthworm on your hook, the bait of death is fear. Church Gist. You subject yourself to fear, death swallows you. Now listen, because the spirit of fear is gone, no one dies young here. Everyone will enjoy a good old age.
2. The spirit of disability and deformity
Luke 13:11-15. That woman was bent over, the devil bound her for eighteen years. The man at the Beautiful Gate received strength in his ankles and bounced back walking. Church Gist. Every disability is by the spirit of deformity. Every form of disability here whether partial or total are oppressions of the devil, I decree right now the rescue of every such individual.
How does the Word empower us for dominion over sickness and disease? We are trying to look at what are the weapons at our disposal that establish our dominion over sickness and disease.
1. The Word.
The Word is the balm in Gilead with the capacity to handle all manner of sickness and disease. Matthew 4:23. That is what the Word does. Luke 6:17-19. So much unlimited healing virtue in the Word. Church Gist. Jesus was teaching and the power of God was present to heal them. Luke 5:17. God’s healing power is transmitted through His Word. As you receive His Word, His healing virtue flows through.
– Every negative medical verdict on anyone under the sound of my voice today is overturned into a testimony today.
Psalm 107:20. Jesus said I am that Great Physician and this book is my great prescription, if you will take it as a lifestyle you are on.
– Every harassment of the wicked on your health is declared over today.
Whenever the light of the Word breaks forth, our health springs up speedily. Isaiah 58:8. Church Gist. The breaking forth of the Word in our hearts is what results in our health springing up speedily.
– In the name of Jesus, as you open your heart to receive this healing health and wholeness Word today, I see your health spring forth speedily.
– It is your turn.
Proverbs 4:20-22. It shall be life to them that find it. Not them that read, them that find. Not them that hear, them that find. Find them. Health to all their flesh. Jeremiah 15:16. So it is a finding that we are talking about, not just a hearing or a reading or a studying. They don’t mark your research efforts, they mark your research findings. So you keep searching to find it. You find it and it shows. You can’t find it without it showing. Church Gist. Some of us haven’t started searching, when will we find them? “Goodness and mercy shall follow me all my days” to where? No finding out what makes it happen. Let the Lord be your shepherd, locate what God is saying concerning the issue that looks like evil following you and it will get off your back.
– This shall be a month of findings for you.
There are things you find once and they keep manifesting for life. May you find your right to healing, health and wholeness this time and may it follow you through for life. Church Gist. I found the key to financial prosperity once, forty one years ago and it has lived with me till tomorrow.
– May your findings today and throughout this month begin to manifest for life.
Do you know why that is so? The dominion of light over darkness is instant and unquestionable. When the light breaks forth, darkness backs out. There is no argument, no tension, no debate. Light steps in, darkness steps out. As the light of the healing Word steps into your life today, the darkness of sickness and diseases will step out of your body. I shared this last Sunday if I did that a woman was reading the book, Face Off With A Miracle by Bob Mumford. I read that on 14th February 1983 from New Wine Magazine. She was in her laundry, she didn’t know that she had stood up from the wheelchair, she was rinsing the clothes in the sink and realized. Church Gist. The Word entered, the body surged back. The light of the Word entered and her body took shape. A woman was reading the book, Winning Invisible Battles in French and she had some forces following her. Those things don’t have medical solutions. As she got to the middle of that book, a human figure walked out of her body. She wrote to testify how she got free. Light entered, darkness stepped out. It is that kind of light that must enter you this time.
A woman sent us a testimony, she was down and out, burned out. It was a family very close to a healing specialist of their time but she was dying. She caught something in the book, The Wisdom That Works. Read thinking, read and think through what you read. She said she has never heard that in her life. Church Gist. She read the book, Miracle Meal, combined the two together and her health surged back fully. She sent a testimony. Something must break through in your life. We have the most efficient medication in all of the world. It is the balm in Gilead.
Can I hit you with this? In the year 2000, I was in Abuja, on the Breakthrough Night, I stood up and I said… It was our healing month, “Is there no balm in Gilead?” a child that was declared dead by 12:30 in the afternoon from the national hospital and declared dead by our own anointed doctors in church, the mother refused to go, she said I learnt this prophet is coming through our church today. Church Gist. I will stay. As I proclaimed “Is there no balm in Gilead?” power surged up there on the third floor in the children’s building and the child came to life. I had no idea. Six years after that, they brought that child to this office. Six years later. In the same vein, everything stinking about anyone’s health shall be rewritten today.
We can be set free by the anointing but we can only stay free by the revelation of the Word. John 8:32-36. The anointing can pull us out of darkness but only the light of His Word can keep darkness away from recapturing us. It is by the light from the Word that we command dominion over the works of darkness. He was casting out evil spirits with his Word. Matthew 8:16,29. Luke 4:34. When demons saw Jesus they cried out “Have you come to destroy us before the time?” because light always destroys darkness. We get free by the power of God and we stay free by the Word of God. The anointing can pull us out of the kingdom of darkness (Colossians 1:13) but only light can keep us from being recaptured. Jude 1:22-23. It is not enough to be out, to stay out we must embrace the light of God’s Word. Matthew 12:43-45. Word emptiness is a risk. Church Gist. Let the Word of God dwell richly in your heart. There are many who were saved but their later end is worse than the beginning. It is said that man can survive without food and water for not more than 40 days. After 40 days it becomes a risk. Do you know how many believers don’t have anything going in for one month, for two months or three months? They have got nothing so they are dead while yet they live. Quality Word intake is key to our liberty. Jeremiah 15:16. It is not about fancy, settle down. The going is getting tougher and will yet be tougher. For you and me to be exempted, settle down with light. When you walk in the light, your case will be different. Arise and shine because you are walking in the light. It is your turn. The entrance of His Word gives light. Not the reading or the hearing. Psalm 119:130. When the Word enters, light enters. Darkness gives way. This is covenant healing techniques. Do you want to stay healthy? Mind it. Deuteronomy 4:4. Every time Satan came against Jesus, “it is written.” Luke 4:4,8,12. Church Gist. Satan left him for a season, he is coming back. If you don’t have “it is written,” you have lost control. The food of last month can’t keep you till now otherwise ordinary wind and you will fall down. Matthew 4:4,7,10,12. When you hold the Word in your hand, you receive a refreshing from heaven to show that you have overcome. In the precious name of Jesus, the battle over your health is declared won today.
I was shouting with passion, get back to the New Testament. Study the book of John. I got free from the tuberculosis that I was born with, the same year I got saved. I devoured Matthew, Mark, Luke and John like a ravenous wolf. When I got an attack in the night and I saw all the boys move their beds from me, I felt like a leper. I came out of the dormitory and I said “Jesus if it is true that you did all that is said you did in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, heal me now” Do you know why I could say that? I read it. Heal me now or as If I will slap you, you know the passion of a child. Now here is a believer, he has not read anything. He is just moving around. There is nothing inside to react on. No one laid hands on me, I got healed of tuberculosis by ministering the Word to myself. Do you know how long you have been saved? Get angry. The price is fully paid for your total health. Church Gist. I have run myself into trouble once in a while for overstretching beyond my capacity. That is foolishness anyway. When it comes to attacks of the devil, the Word is the answer. It is written, it is a blow. The third time, he fell down. There are some blows you can’t stand. They hit you once, you stagger, they hit you again, you stagger twice, the third time, you fall down. The good news is every devil harassing your health must fall down flat. In the same way, the walls of Jericho fell down flat, every barrier on your total health fell down flat. It is your day in the name of Jesus. The hour you have been waiting for is finally here.
What is in the Word that heals?
1. The Word is medicinal
Proverbs 4:20-22. Some translations say “It shall be medicine to all their flesh.” God’s Word is medicinal. Church Gist. Job 33:21-25. That is how powerful the medicinal value of revelation is. It is able to restore back
2. The Word is surgical
John 1:1-2. We saw how God put Adam to sleep and brought out one of his hip bones with which He made Eve. The Bible says the Word is quick and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword. God’s Word is surgical, it is able to go into your system and fix whatever things are out of place. Genesis 1:17-18. Church Gist. Hebrews 4:12. Many are going to experience that surgical power of the Word right there where you are seated. When He opened up Adam and closed him, there was no recovery time. Adam just stood up and started dancing at the same time. There was no sign that anything happened. That is how perfect God is.
3. The Word is creative.
God has not changed. He is still a creative God today. Acts 3:6-9. Matthew 9:27-29.
4. The Word is Prophetic.
What God says with His mouth, He brings to pass with His hand. So every prophetic word you receive, you are provoking the hand of God with whom nothing shall be impossible to take over in that area of your life. God’s Word is Prophetic. Ezekiel 37:1-14. Church Gist. God’s word is Prophetic, provoking the hand of God to confirm His Word. So every time you receive a prophetic Word, you are invoking the hand of God to perform it. God’s Word is Prophetic.
5. The Word transmits divine nature which is immune to sickness and disease.
Divine nature is communicated by the Word. As you receive the Word, you are imbibing divine nature. Divine nature is sickness free. 2 Peter 1:4. We partake of divine nature by the Word which makes us immune to sickness and disease no matter what kind. Church Gist. Divine nature is contacted by the Word. The more committed we are to the Word, the more divine nature we imbibe and the freer we are from the things that buffet mankind.
6. The Word is fire.
Not just electronic fire, consuming fire. John 1:1-3. Hebrews 12:29. When you access the fire of the Word, it goes inside to burn off every chaff of the wicked in your life. Matthew 3:11-12. The Word goes in as fire. Because these three are one, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are one. Church Gist. It goes inside to burn off every chaff. Jeremiah 23:29. It goes in as fire to burn off every chaff of sickness and diseases. The Word is fire. It is not just fire, consuming fire. So the Word is a consuming fire, when you imbibe the Word, it burns off every chaff in your system.
To God be all the praise. The good news is the Word is a weapon of instant healing and wholeness. When light breaks forth health springs forth speedily. Church Gist. Receive your instant freedom from every harassment of sickness and disease right now.
Today is our Covenant Day of Restoration and God’s last days’ agenda is for His children to recover all the devil has stolen from them. Joel 2:23-26. I will restore to you the years… Whatever years you may have lost, God says I will restore. Only God restores years oh, nowhere else. In the name of Jesus, your restoration into realms of glory is today. God’s plan is to replace sevenfold for any door the devil may have shut against your life. Church Gist. They shall come against you in one way and they shall flee seven ways. Deuteronomy 28:7. So every door that may have been shut against you, now expect seven doors to replace them. Restoration here among others includes restoration of health, glory, lost years among others. It is your turn. I will restore health to you. It is your right. You are getting there.
To secure our restoration:
1. One must be born again and remain so.
If you step out of the kingdom of light, darkness will still rob you of anything that you may have. You better stay in the Kingdom of Light. Stay there! It is not enough that you were born again in 1920, are you still born again? Romans 8:30. Stay in the faith, don’t play games. Don’t add idols to God. Stay on God’s side. Church Gist. You can’t be on two sides at the same time. No matter how efficient you are as a security man, you can’t be at two gates at the same time. You can’t be at Canaanland Gate and be at University Gate at the same time. Don’t try it, it doesn’t work.
2. Receive the gift of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
It is ordained to facilitate our restoration. Church Gist. He said, “For your shame you shall have double”. It is one of the ministries of the Holy Ghost. Isaiah 61:7.
3. Open your heart to receive and believe the Word for your restoration to experience it.
Job 14:7-9. Just open up to the Word of restoration and no matter how old your situation has been, it will turn around. The Word of God is a story changer. Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 3:18. When you capture the Word, it brings about the changes of your life. Open up to the scent of water. John 10:10. Get hold of the Word and you recover all that you have lost.
4. You must remain committed to serving God and the interests of His kingdom to stay free.
Job 36:11, Exodus 23:25-26. Church Gist. Stay committed to serving God to enjoy your restoration agenda.
5. We must be committed to praying for the well-being of others to secure our own.
Job 42:10-12. Whatever good thing a man does, the same he shall receive from the Lord.
We serve a restoration God. He specializes in restoring lost years, lost health, lost businesses, lost careers. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. It is your turn at last.
Lift your two hands and begin to demand restoration in any area you desire it.
In Jesus’ precious name, it is settled.
– I decree the release of all your desired restoration packages.
– Your lost years are declared restored.
– Your lost health is finally restored.
– Your lost joy is restored.
– Your broken home is restored.
– Your lost business, career and vocation are restored. Church Gist.
– You will never be ashamed again.
Revival time is also a season of restoration. Zephaniah 3:17. Welcome to your season of glory.
– The days of shame and reproach are over in your life.
2 Chronicles 20:20.
– All that receive the prophetic word with faith today, you will testify this month.
– Some fellows are leaving here already liberated from every harassment on their health.
– It is settled.
– Grace to take responsibility to secure your restoration, receive it now.
– Grace to keep serving God so as to spend your days in prosperity and pleasure, receive it now.
– Grace to remain on God’s side, receive it now.
– So shall it be in the name of Jesus.
– You are testifying of your restoration this month. Many will testify this week.
– You will begin to receive restoration calls on your phone, restoration texts and emails on your phone.
– Be blessed. Your household is blessed.
– The week is declared a week of good news. Only good news from your children, only good news from your grandchildren. Church Gist. Only good news in your business. So shall it be in the name of Jesus.
I told them something yesterday. Why these hard teachings? Because you are heading for your high places. Coaches don’t pity trainees. They give them the toughest of times so they can make the most of their race. We are helpers of your faith. So engage accordingly. God is no respecter of persons. Don’t make church look like a club. Where you just come and ask how you are, how was the week. Church Gist. When I sit down here nobody can talk to me, nobody can and you all know it. If I don’t call you and you come, if I look at you your legs will shake. Get serious with God. Don’t pray only when there is an operation, pray all the time. Pray without season.
