Just following the ministration that we had during the offering, please, recognize that there’s a battle over your destiny. Luke 22:31-32. Church Gist. He’s always on the hunt after precious souls. Many are victims of these battles because they are not aware of it. Life is a battlefield, not a playground. Church Gist. The earlier we wake up to this reality, the better for us. He’s always on the hunt for precious souls.
– no one here shall be a victim!
When the devil saw that he was cast out from Heaven, he went out to make war with the seed of that woman, who we are. So, there’s a battle going on.

We are here to explore what it takes to boost our spiritual estate to enhance the quality of our work with God to trigger sustainable love for God as a way of life. Church Gist. To provoke consistent, faithful and fruitful stewardship in the vineyard and to warn us against the enticing words of man’s wisdom that are outside of Scriptures so that we can secure our souls until the coming of the Lord. Church Gist. To warn us against the ongoing new generation syndrome that seems to paint the picture that anything goes with God and so the people keep struggling. They live in frustration, fear and anxiety because you can do anything against the truth but for the truth. Church Gist. To prepare young people for Heaven and make Heaven become their target while they experience the best of time on earth. There’s no one that walks in the fear of God in Scriptures that did not fare well.
– in the precious name of Jesus, whatever heart may have been planted in the heart for anyone of us shall be flushed out and we shall leave here engraced to live like Jesus, spirit soul and somebody.
– Heavenly Father, watch over your Word tonight in the name of Jesus! Cause every heart to receive your word. Let everyone’s understanding open up and let your name be glorified in Jesus’ precious name.
Let me first start by saying that the Gospel is so simple that even children can grasp it. 2 Timothy 3:15. Church Gist. You don’t need any knowledge of Greek or Hebrew. So, for anyone that is born again, we have automatic access. Mark 4:11. New birth is gateway to the mysteries of the Kingdom. The age of individuals notwithstanding. At 16, I knew I’ve been redeemed as a Priest and a King to reign on the earth. Church Gist. Nobody preached that to me, I found it by myself by the grace of God from Revelation 5:9-10. What is a young believer doing with Revelation? I just love God and I love to know what He’s saying about us. Amen! I so found that when I want to go out, I will check, “will a king go out like this?” at 16. At 16, I found Lamentations 3:27, no one preached it to me and I went to pray under a little shrub, “Jesus, whatever we need to bear when I’m old, let me bear it now. Church Gist. I don’t want to be carrying luggage when I’m old”, He heard me. “And from a child..”, Genesis to Revelation, you can grasp it if you’re born again and with a genuine heart for God. So, when you go through Scriptures and it looks like Greek, something is wrong. Church Gist. Either that your foundation is faulty, you’re not born again yet, you’re just posing to be or you don’t have no heart for God. So, you can’t comprehend it. At 16, I was in a conference like you and I heard the Word, because the theme of that conference was, “God is not Slow” – 2 Peter 3:9, I was 16 years old and I got baptized with the grace for patience. Patience brought us to where we are today. It didn’t happen overnight, so be careful! Get rich in 2 hours is dangerous. Become a millionaire in one hour, dangerous! Risky! God doesn’t operate like that. Church Gist. Have we ever seen anyone that won a lottery and did not end up a mockery? Proverbs 13:11. Be careful! The good news at this beginning is that a child can know the Scriptures if he’s born again and walking in the fear of God because the secret of God is in them that fear Him and He will show them His covenant – Proverbs 25:14. Church Gist. Not all these grammar that is going around in town. There are men today, even on the pulpit, who has never heard God say one word to them in their lives. Psychology, philosophy mixed together. “One word that God said to me”, they can’t point to it.
– on this mountain, as you engage with your heart with what will be happening here, something will turn supernaturally in your life!
2 Timothy 3:15. Take that as the first vaccine on this mountain, “I have what it takes to access the treasures in the Word if I will position myself properly”. Church Gist. First, a sound new birth experience, two, a heart for God, three, walking in the fear of God as a lifestyle. He begins to unfold to you His secrets, line upon line, precepts precepts, thereby setting order to your present, your future, your posterity and your eternity.
– you will not miss it in Jesus’ name.
We are in the takeover era of the Church. God has a takeover agenda for the endtime Church. Psalm 87:1-7. The endtime Church is ordained a Church of giants. Hebrews 12:22-24. Church Gist. The Church is what the Bible refers to as Zion, so we are Zionites. Praise God! And God begins to manifest His love upon the endtime Church and causing the emergence of giants in their numbers. Psalm 87:5. So, it’s not a political agenda, it’s not a ritual agenda. The Most High himself will establish the agenda. Church Gist. The rise of giants that cannot be ignored, people of global reference and relevance coming from Zion. “Can any good thing come out Zion?” Come and see, there’s an emerging army that nothing can stop or restrain them. Psalm 87:6-7. All that matter to life and living shall be domiciled in Zion. Church Gist. The anger of political people can not change it, there’s nothing that can alter Divine agenda, sir. Until you can alter the sun and the moon from taking their place, you can’t alter God’s agenda for His Church. If you check the drama in Revelations 12:4, the dragon cast water after the woman to drown her but the earth swallowed the water. Praise God! There’s nothing that has not been done to stop the Church of Christ in the world but it’s impossible. Church Gist. Anyone attempting it is just playing the fool, mysterious foolishness. It can’t happen. The Church will see the end of the world, not the other way round.

Psalm 2:1-4. There’s no place on the planet earth where Jesus is not being mentioned day and night. Psalm 110:1-3. Church Gist. Christ will not come for a struggling and an oppressed Church but a super reigning Church. Psalm 110:2. Church Gist. But, Only the saints are eligible in this takeover agenda. Daniel 7:27. So, it’s not for Jack and Harry, it’s for the saints of the Most High. This takeover army shall be saintly believers – people who live in the fear of God as a lifestyle, people who passionately hate evil, people that love righteousness and hate wickedness. Psalm 45:7. The endtime Church shall be empowered to realize this takeover agenda. Psalm 110:3. Romans 8:19. The demonstration of the power and of the spirit will be so thick in the endtime which has begun. Church Gist. But no one put new wine in old wineskin.. Luke 5:37-38. Proverbs 1:23. It’s not crying for empowerment, it’s positioning and repositioning for empowerment. The day of His manifold wisdom that empowers believers to reign shall precede the day of His coming. Ephesians 3:8-11. So, what is that eternal purpose? There shall be a raw manifestation of the manifold wisdom of God that will enthrone the saints in the endtime. Proverbs 8:16. Church Gist. But, as we all know, the fear of the Lord is beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 9:10. Psalm 111:10. Genesis 42:18. Genesis 41:38. The fear of God qualifies us access to the manifold of the wisdom of God, not intellectual, academic wisdom. We are talking about the manifold wisdom of God. It’s not enough to prescribe how to gather food for 7 years but to preserve them unspoilt for 14 years because he started gathering that year for 7 years and started distributing from the 8th year to the 14th year and there was no report that anything got spoilt. Church Gist. There were no chemicals in those days. Heaven-decked wisdom, not all these chemistry, biology thing that we are talking about.
There are 4 kinds of wisdom like we know in Scriptures. James 3:15-17. There’s the earthly wisdom which is common sense, so a child does not put feeding bottle in the ear, straight to the mouth, he hasn’t gone to school. Common sense. Church Gist. A child wants to pee, he doesn’t open the mouth, common sense. He begins to eat and didn’t put the food on the neck, common neck. Then, intellectual wisdom is training up to make right choices within the limits of the intellect. So, you don’t do projection and call it vision. There are many feasibility studies that are not feasible. Church Gist. They are put together by highly intellectual people but they are not feasible, they were blind, they can’t see it. But when God leads, it may not appear sensible but it’s ever profitable. When God leads you, you don’t carry your bag and start running around to Germany, Japan, no direction, wandering saints. When God leads, it’s ever profitable. Man’s feasible study has always failed and it’s all trial by error, they all hang on all things being equal and all things are never equal, so they take cover in that. Church Gist. “All things equal”, when will all things be equal? “If this thing fails, it means that things are not equal, we will accept it and try again”. You keep trying but when the Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. Psalm 23:1-6.
Coming to Canaanland by this Church was not sensible but is it not profitable? That’s why to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6. To be intellectually minded can be destructive. Church Gist. We were supposed to end here by all human calculations, “how dare you go to the forest? To do what? A Church for people built away from people? What a senseless people”. You better watch it. Proverbs 27:8. There are many wandering saints around the world today. There are those who are sent to certain places where they are, there are those who just went because others went and they start gasping, “why did I come? Is this how I will live my life?” Is there any nation that I will go to now that will now enter my CV? No. Church Gist. What we are seeing is this Nazareth, first world people don’t know it and they have not seen it.
The devil is hunting for the precious souls, don’t be captured. Church Gist. Settle down and be spiritual about your journey so that you don’t become a victim of life.

You find young people, my precious daughters and sons giving testimonies of how their businesses are blossoming and growing in a downward trend land. Just be where you belong. Church Gist. All the takeover records in Scriptures were by men and women who walked in the fear of God. We have the likes of Joseph, Genesis 42:18 and from prison, he came to reign in the palace. His CV, “I fear God”. Life looked like it was going downward for him, from slavery to imprisonment, but, “I fear God”. Nothing got amiss in his master’s house, the wife of Potiphar wanted him to go to bed with her but, “I fear God”. Church Gist. He got to the prison, a most excited prisoner but, “I fear God” and suddenly. He was incarcerated for 13 years because the Bible said he was gone into slavery at 17 years and ascended the throne at 30. 13 years only and 80 years of enthronement. 13 years of going through the school of enthronement. He passed exams and got enthroned overnight by the act of God. He began to reign at 30 and he was there till 110. Many jump the school, after 5 years, “things don’t work here”, they jump. You can imagine if Joseph fled from Potiphar’s house and carried his money and goods because he was the one in charge of the House. Church Gist. When he appears in his family house, they will kill him because they have already buried him, they will think he’s a ghost. He stayed on.
I got a Word from the Lord, “the hour has come to liberate the entire world from all oppressions of the devil”, that’s okay. Church Gist. But the entire world will start from 4 people and then with prayer and fasting, 8. With confessions and professions, 20 (laughs). It’s better to be slow and sure than to be fast and fall. Habakkuk 2:1-3.
About 40 years ago, our office space was 2 rooms of 100 naira per month. They don’t pay one year then, nobody has that kind of money, you pay on monthly basis. My car was one in town, when it’s coming, you will know. You don’t need to hear a horn, the entire car is a horn. Church Gist. But, at the end, “though it tarries, wait for it, it shall surely come to pass”.
– something is breaking forth in your life!
– the little business in your hand will soon become a national phenomenon!
– somebody’s story is changing!
We have the likes of Daniel who put in his heart not to defile himself with the King’s meat. They could not find anything amiss in him for he was a faithful man and there was no error found in him. Church Gist. Daniel 6:4-5. We were told he became relevant to the government of Babylon for 65 years under 4 different kings. That’s a sure foundation that secures a great future – the fear of the Lord.
Nehemiah came up with a burning passion for God, he became governor but never ate the bread of the governor, never. Church Gist. He was not a usurper, he was a leader.
Paul a man of great conscience took over the whole of Asia within two years. That’s the way it works. We saw that all the platforms for takeover in the Church of Christ require the fear of the Lord as the foundation. Psalm 11:3. Church Gist. The believer is helpless without the fear of God as his foundation. No building has a future without a secure foundation. 2 Timothy 2:19-21. The sure foundation is a departure from iniquity, a conscious and consistent departure form iniquity. A genuine hatred from iniquity. 2 Timothy 2:20-21. Church Gist. Your life has no foundation without the fear of God, you’re a building without a foundation, a slight wind will bring it down. You’re building on a sand, the slightest of temptations will crash it. So, mind your foundation, it’s the security of your destiny!
– my prayer is that no one here misses out of it!
All the platforms that empower men to be enlisted among the takeover men of this endtime requires the fear of God for delivery. Church Gist. For instance, you can’t rule in the midst of your enemy without being empowered. Power is required to subdue our enemies. Psalm 66:3. Psalm 110:3. Paul had to be empowered to take over Asia. Acts 14:11. Acts 19:15. It takes the fear of God to flow in power. Again, no one can reign without conferment of authority. We know that faithfulness is what facilitates conferment of authority and nothing enhances faithfulness like the fear of God. Church Gist. Faithfulness is not what people see, it’s primarily based in the heart. Moses was faithful in all his house and we saw how there was no Prophet in all of Israel as great as Moses whom the Lord knew face to face. Deuteronomy 34:10. Luke 19:17. Authority is not achieved, authority is conferred. You can’t give yourself authority.
We have some folks representing us in our various domains as House of Reps, as senators, some of them may not be as half wise as others in the same domain but they have been given authority to represent, so, they speak for you. Church Gist. You can’t go there and say, “I want to speak for our people” because you were not given authority to do so. You may have governors in your state that have a thousand other smarter people than him and I mean thousands but they are not conferred with authority. Church Gist. In God’s agenda, authority is conferred based on our faithfulness towards God and the interest of His Kingdom.
Someone told me sometime, he was going out to “when I make a name, then I will come back”. You can’t make a name, it’s God who makes people. “I will make of thee a great name”, He said to Abraham. Church Gist. The Lord shall give you a new name which the mouth of the Lord shall name. Be faithful in your walk with God, He will keep changing your level by conferring authority upon your life, stage by stage as you go on. You’re not faithful with small, you’re not a candidate for much. Church Gist. You’re not faithful with little, you’re not a candidate for great. So, where we find ourselves tomorrow is a function of how faithful we are where we are today. For instance, I have never walked to any pulpit in my life without my notes, well searched notes at my various levels. No games.
– in the Precious name of Jesus, no one will miss his or her place of authority!
Now, Jesus gave them power and authority. Power is different from authority. Power is about capacity, authority is conferment of right to rule and reign, they are different. Church Gist. You can’t pray into authority but you can pray into power. Psalm 63:1-2. You can pray into power, you go into fasting, you pray into power but nobody ever prays into authority. “Oluwa joor, gbemi soke”, He doesn’t do that. Luke 19:17-19. Church Gist. As He finds you faithful when He checks on you, He changes your level.
– no one among us here will be stranded anymore!
So, this takeover army will be an army of proven faithful people in their walk with God. Amen!
Hebrews 3:1-2. The faithful shall dominate the world. It’s a choice to make. He gave them a pound each, 7 of them absconded, one hid it and said, “you’re an austere man, how can you ask us to be trading for you? For what?” Only two out of ten, that will tell you the ratio of the faithful. Church Gist. Only two out of ten were profited by that opportunity and Faithfulness was their hallmark. There were 10, we saw only 3, two with good reports, one reaction and 7 absconded. 20 percent! Straight is the way and narrow is the gate that leads to Heaven, few there be that find it. Be faithful. Church Gist. This is the most fertile season of your life, if you miss your planting season, you have lost the harvest. 1 John 2:14. Thank you Jesus!
They asked Jesus, “who gave you this authority?” Matthew 1:23. Authority is given, it’s not accomplished. Church Gist. Luke 20:2. It’s given to people, it’s not something you accomplish.
– it’s a brand new day for us!
Moses took over in Egypt from that Scripture, not just through the power and nature of the Spirit but through his faithfulness. Church Gist. Like mentioned earlier, wisdom is a vital tool for enthronement and Jesus is coming for an enthroned Church and as an enthroned Church, we have to operate from the platform of the fear of the Lord. It’s the foundation and the beginning of the wisdom from above. You can’t access the wisdom from above without it. Church Gist. Wisdom multiplies by knowledge. Proverbs 9:9. Proverbs 1:5. As mentioned earlier, Joseph and Daniel took over their days by wisdom and when Solomon lost it, he lost everything.
The next one we are looking at is a genuine heart or love for God. Every true lover of this God ends up a high flier in life. 1 Corinthians 2:9. Church Gist. David, a man with a heart for God became a national hero at 17. They said, “you’re more than 10,000 of us”, that’s what a heart for God does. We saw Elijah being very jealous for God, he went to Heaven by a spacecraft. Church Gist. We saw Gideon with a heart for God’s people that were under the oppression of the Midianites, how God lifted him.
As we close, one of the hallmarks of this endtime shall be supernatural wealth. The kind of wealth that adds no sorrows, pressure-free wealth. Church Gist. Proverbs 22:7. Ecclesiastes 9:6 and God has an agenda to give the endtime Church a voice. People who are just in a hurry and they step into horrors. A voice. Mark 4:27-28. It’s a process. There’s always a gestation period between conception and delivery and it varies from one being to another. For instance, an Elephant carries its foetus for 30 months because of the size that is coming out, perhaps and then a rat is 3 months. Church Gist. Just stay on the covenant highway, he keeps changing your story from level to level.
When our ministry had 18,000 plus as total annual income in 1984, my offering, my sacrifice was part of it. That was our level, all our level. We could not rent a house of 5,500 in 1986, that was our level. Relax. Church Gist. This Church was in the open air in 1986, no roof, nothing. ’87, we had a grass cathedral, ’88, we had iron sheets on top and now we have estates around the world. Most of the time you remove your seed from the ground, ‘bye bye to harvest’, that’s the meaning. I have never seen my tithe as part of my spendable income, 40 years have passed, consistently so. From Kobo Kobo to naira naira to all currencies of the world today. Church Gist. Sir, if you run to White House, it will never be equal to prosperity without putting the covenant to work. There’s no poor nation without rich people in it who are not thieves. Job 22:21-25. That means, He will defend you against the anger of the wicked, “how is this man prospering like this?” He will be shutting them down and you’re not aware. Church Gist. The law of seedtime and harvest will remain the overriding law for anyone that must prosper on this earth, the law of giving and receiving and worshiping God with your tithe so that He can open up the Heavens over your life. Some folks are in town talking about no tithing and all, they have not experienced it. God told me in person, “my prosperity plan is not a promise, it does not answer to prayers, so stop wasting your time. My prosperity plan is a covenant, until your part is played, I am not committed”. Church Gist. March 22, 1982, I heard him live and I screamed, “Yeah! I can never be poor”. I got it. So, your faithfulness in financial stewardship is the only way to be listed among this takeover army. Proverbs 22:7. Proverbs 110:2. All this emergency money of knowing minister of economy, they are temporary, they are as temporary as those offices. Church Gist. Do you know how many that have been ministers and governors before and we don’t even know where they live now? But, when you tie your life to God whose economy is ever stable, you will be flourishing like a palm tree while others are groaning.
– that shall be your experience!
There’s no way we can say everything at the same time. Lift up your right hand and give God thanks for the light of His Word that has come your way tonight.
Listen to this, it’s a striking light that came my way in getting ready for this meeting and I will like you to stand up to listen to it. The last days are the days of a mix where the tares and wheat shall be growing together. Matthew 13:29-30. Church Gist. The wicked shall be growing more wickedly in the last days, the vile shall become more vile in the last days while the righteous will become more righteous in the last days. The righteous will continue to grow in their love for God while the wicked will continue to grow in their hatred for God. While the wicked will be increasingly more vile, the saints will continue to be more saintly. Church Gist. Not everybody here is a wheat, some are still chaff and their mission is to defile you if you allow them to. Isaiah 51:1-3. Joel 2:1-3. We live in the last days, the days of a mix. There’s a mix! Some are not here for what we are here for, sir. They know but we are here tonight to get you out of selling off your future without knowing. We are in the last days, the Church is taking the stage in the last days, no devil can stop that. Church Gist. So, don’t let any devil stop you. This agenda will deliver whether you’re a part of it or not! Malachi 4:1-2. Psalm 92:12-14. Everything is burning down, they are growing up and they are going forward.
– may you be part of that army!
It shall be a day of darkness and gloominess for the wicked, but the greatest day for the saints of the Most High God, which shall command dominion over all things that are on the earth.
– can I hear your loudest Amen!
“Let both grow together until harvest”, the harvest is the end of the world. So, we will be growing together: the wicked is growing in their wickedness and we are growing in our righteousness.
– can I hear you say with me, “I refuse to be a chaff! I refuse to be a tare!”
So, when you notice any tare around you, no, we don’t belong. You can’t stop the wicked from growing in the wickedness but they can’t stop you also from growing in your righteousness. Church Gist. While the righteous will shine forth as the sun, the wicked will be in utter darkness. The good news for you is this: God still has millions who will never bow their knees to Baal.
– may you remain among those millions!
Straight is the way and narrow is the gate that leads to life and few they be that find it. Now you have found it, may you choose to walk in it.
– lift up your two hands and receive the spirit of the fear of the Lord upon your life to qualify you for enlistment in this takeover army.
