I want to first of all again, appreciate Almighty God and congratulate the Pastor Angel who laid the foundation and Pastor Moses for this great conclusion of what was a vision that we saw from the beginning. I welcome you all in Jesus’ name.
I am going to speak very briefly because we have a couple of things to do today. 2 Chronicles 5:13-15. This morning I want to speak on “GLORY IN THE HOUSE”. Church Gist. This is part 2 of the message I commenced preaching in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state yesterday morning when we also dedicated our Sanctuary in that city, big mega Sanctuary like this.
– give the Lord the praise.
In that service, I said that the major thing God does whenever His House is dedicated is the release of His glory. He stamps His House with His glory. The only way to know that a Sanctuary belonging to God had just been dedicated is the glory that is present. In Exodus 40:33-34, When Moses finished the Tabernacle in the wilderness, to confirm that God had accepted that House and dedication, the glory filled it. Church Gist. That was the first instance that we saw the glory and then we are seeing now that in the dedication of the Temple of Solomon in 2 Chronicles 5:13-14, the glory again filled the House. So, God fills His House with His glory.
Now, we began to look at the implication of the glory. What does the glory of God filling a House communicate? The communication of this glory will also translate to what the glory of God communicates to our lives. Church Gist. If the glory fills the House, the Church, a family, a person’s life, what does it represent?
1. The seal of Divine presence.
God saying, “I am present” here. Church Gist. Everywhere you see the glory, you can confirm that God is present.
2. The seal of Divine ownership.
The way you put a stamp or your signature on something, God signs the construction or the whole effort by saying, “this is mine”.
3. The seal of Divine validation.
“I confirm that this is correct, it’s accurate”. Church Gist. When God validates you, it doesn’t matter who invalidates you.
4. The seal of Divine honour and value.
Glory represents honour and value.
We looked at all of that in our previous dedication.
5. The seal of rest.
When God places his glory, restlessness is over, battle is over, crisis over.
– As we pray this morning in the dedication of this house, not only will the glory of God come on this House, it will come on the life of somebody.
– where your life has been full of restlessness and anxiety, rest shall come!
6. The seal of the supernatural.
It is inside the glory that miracles happen. John 2:11.
7. The seal of Divine preservation.
When the glory of God is on a person, that person is a ‘touch-not’. Church Gist. When the glory of God is on a people, they are a ‘touch-not’. Isaiah 4:5. When God seals you with the glory, you are too defended to be destroyed by the devil and the forces of hell and darkness. Church Gist. When God places his glory on your life, it doesn’t matter what the enemy brings against you, they only come to scatter, they gather to scatter.
– somebody say the loudest Amen!
– I announce upon somebody here today, in the course of this dedication, the seal of God’s presence is coming upon your life!
– for somebody here today, once this dedication is over, it will be clear to the devil that he does not own your life! God will place a seal of His ownership over your life, it will be clear to the devil that he does not own your life, family and children!
– by the release of His glory upon this House, divine validation, I don’t know where they have taken you and your life for granted, divine validation and approval shall be your portion!
– every trace of disgrace and shame and reproach and dishonour shall be deleted by the release of the glory of God!
– whoever came in here with anxiety and stress, your life is full of battles, I announce today, by the release of glory, that battle is over!
– get ready for the supernatural to be natural!
– from this moment forward, I announce to you, no mortal human being with breath in his nostril shall be a terror to your life and destiny! The glory of God is a defense!
🎶…Even when I cannot trace You, I still have faith in Your Word that You are always there for me. 🎶 And she sang that song. ‘You are there to help me! In this kidnappers’ den, you are always there to help even when no one else is here, no brother, no mother, no father, nobody. You are always there even when I can’t feel You and I can’t trace You, I don’t even know where You are now but I have faith in Your Word that You are there’. She finished singing that song and lifted up her eyes and she was seated, not in that place anymore but beside Military Checkpoint on Benin-Lagos Expressway. Church Gist. And the soldier said: ‘Who is this and what is this’? Wonder! She told them her story: I was just in the middle of the kidnappers’ camp, I am surprised myself to see that I am seated here. Disappeared from the midst of the devil’s camp and re-appeared to safety. And God has a humorous way of working, he didn’t re-appear in the midst of thieves he re-appeared in the midst of security forces, they housed her for one more day and fared her to Lagos where she was going. That is the God we serve! He is real, too real! So real! Church Gist. And in the time that we are in, in this season that we are in, we are going to see more of this kind of thing, more of this kind of manifestation, things that if people tell you, you will say that it is not possible until it happens to you yourself. There is a way to the glory!
I will tell you four things! Do you want all the things that I mentioned now about the glory of God? You want them in your life?
1. Avoid the way of sin.
🎶 Let me want what You want oh my dear Lord… Oh Lord take me to the place where I have no will that is separate from Your will…🎶 To be lost in you is my desire! Oh Lord, not my will but Your will Lord! Help me to live my life according to Your plan. Church Gist. When you are at that point, you will see the glory of God but when you live according to how you want, you make your own plan and you want God to stamp it. You make your own decision then you force God to follow it, it won’t work like that. Let my life bring you joy and not pain Lord! 🎶 Let me live in your plan for my life, that is living life at its very best, Lord. Oh Lord take me to the place where I have no will that is separated from Your will. Oh! Lord take me to the place where I have no choice that is separate from Your choice… 🎶 You want God’s glory? Surrender your plan. I planned to be a Doctor, I never planned to be a preacher. Never! Because I didn’t want people to classify me as one of those looking for people’s money. I respected myself! I had dignity at heart!
I came from a family that’s not poor at all. My father was a major transporter, I saw the resources as I grew. I wanted to make money and use it to be a Kingdom investor. Church Gist. That was my plan and God said you’re going to carry the microphone. You’re going to preach full time. I love Medicine, I never failed an exam and I gave my plans to Him. This is where the plan brought me. I’ve zero regrets. Zero! I’ve been in places where Presidents are on their knees in worship in nations across the world. Church Gist. Hallelujah! What’s your plan versus God’s plan? Many of us our plans are fighting the plan of God. God is saying you may have something that looks beautiful to you but it’s not as wonderful as what I have for you. If you want the glory of God, submit your plan.
3. Avoid the life of pride and arrogance. Pride, arrogance! For God will never share His glory with man. Church Gist. Pride made lucifer lose his place in Heaven and became satan for hell. He said “I’ll be like the Most High God, I’ll ascend my seat on the throne of God.” You see, some people they’re so full of themselves and they’re empty of God. When you meet the glory of God, pride will die until it is flat. John said “I must decrease and He must increase” – arrogance, boastfulness and the attempt to take the glory of God for what God is doing.
In Akwa Ibom State yesterday, 3 children, the same father, the same mother, their mother is in the mortuary right now and because they’re all sicklers (Sickle cell anaemia), the family rejected them. So, an aunt is taking care of them. Church Gist. Last Thursday night one of them was healed of pains that he came with from bone pain crisis. Church Gist. So, I said all of you go back and check yourselves and be healed. The next day, all of them, 3 children, no mother – SS changed to AA!!! We saw other things in that Service. On our way to the airport, I told my wife I said: “This is beyond the doing of man, I told her. You remember that? I said this can only be God. It is not even our fasting or prayer or anything, it is the sovereignty of God that God can kill a person who attempts to take the glory for what He is doing. Church Gist. He sent Nebuchadnezzar to the forest when Nebuchadnezzar said he was too big, He sent Him to the bush to show him that the Most High rules in the affairs of Men. If you want the glory of God, you’ll be “None of you, all of Him.” You’ll be totally flat of any attempt to raise shoulder, braggadocious and make anybody think that you are something.
Let everybody know per time that the only person that’s anything is God.
Angel Zakari laid the foundation, Moses Eboh did the construction, God perfected the increase. None of them supplied the money for the land or for the building, all the expertise, all the speed, not myself not them, not anybody, God! The only person that can take the glory is God. Church Gist. I’ll stop here! When you go back home, Lord “I surrender my achievement, anything I can use to beat my chest and say I’ve achieved, I surrender it.” Church Gist. If you achieved it, when was the last time you kept yourself alive? You slept last night, what was your contribution to waking up this morning? There were many people who slept last night and couldn’t wake up this morning. While I was in Uyo, somebody sent me a message, big construction company, his Chief Surveyor. He sent me a message and he said the man had passed. I said what happened? He said he slept on Wednesday night, he couldn’t wake up on Thursday. No trace of sickness. Every day you’re alive is a miracle. Church Gist. Every day you woke up in the morning and you woke up on this side of life, it was not you who did it. That’s why you work with wisdom, work with humility, work with gratitude and worship to God for every minute that you’re on the earth.
4. The life of thanksgiving and worship. It was when these people were giving thanks to God and worshipping in 2 Chronicles 5:13 that the glory fell. If you know how to thank God on a continuous basis, what other people consider normal or they consider their rights, you consider that it is the mercy of God then you’ll give glory to God. Church Gist. Somebody say Amen. Lift up your hands everywhere you’re. If you’re able to stand, please be on your feet and let’s honour the Lord. Let’s honour God.
