The Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT) is a major Christian denomination from Nigeria founded by Reuben Akinwalere George in Iwaya Yaba in 1956.
29 September 1951: Evan Roberts passed on to glory. Evan John Roberts was a Welsh Evangelist and leading figure of the 1904–1905 Welsh revival.
29th September 1854: William H. Clarke, another Baptist Missionary arrives Ijaye-Orile, Oyo State to join Reverend Thomas Jefferson Bowen. Bowen planted the first Baptist Church and mission station in the area.
