6th October 2018: Carissa Sharon Frimpong (Née Oyakhilome) marries Phillip Frimpong. The wedding was officiated by Pastor Benny Hinn at the LoveWorld Arena Lekki, Lagos State Nigeria. She is a Gospel Music Minister and the biological daughter of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the Founder of Christ Embassy (LoveWorld Incorporated).

6th October 1536: William Tyndale goes to be with the Lord. He was known for translating and publishing the First New Testament of the Bible into English Language from the original Languages of Greek and Hebrew.

6th October 2013: Most Reverend Dr. Samuel Chukwuemeka Kanu Uche is officially invested as the Prelate of Methodist Church Nigeria. The Investiture Ceremony took place at Methodist Church of The Trinity, Tinubu Square Lagos State, Nigeria.

6th October: Steve Kayode Pelemo is born. He is the General Overseer of The World Overcomers’ Church.

6th October 2004: George Green Baptist College, Ogbomoso, Oyo State Nigeria is inaugurated. The college was named after Dr. George Green, the General Secretary of the Nigeria Baptist Convention who served from 1926 to 1936. He was also the General Superintendent of the Convention from 1937 to 1944.

6th October 1729: Sarah Crosby is born in Leeds, England United Kingdom. She was the First Female Preacher of the Methodist Church.

6th October 1946: Eduardo Cruz Villanueva is born in Philippines, Southeastern Asia. He is an Evangelist and Founder of the Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide.
