I want to also thank my wife: ‘God bless you’. Church Gist. You stood by my side all through even when it didn’t seem it was going – ‘God bless you’. Amen!

DON’T COUNT YOURSELF OUT. That is the message. I got up midnight and wrote the topic – DON’T COUNT YOURSELF OUT. Romans 8:29-30. So every child of God is for glorification, you may wonder why… Before I forget, Bishop Oyedepo, my father, he called himself, he is the one who called and took time to pray for me, Amen! I didn’t call him, he was the one that called. Church Gist. That means he remembered! If you love somebody it shows, he is the one who called and then took time to heavy prayers for me and I know those prayers will also work for you. He prayed for me very seriously! I will also thank all of you, my siblings who came, I have relations, fathers and mothers I’ve taken as fathers and mothers. God bless all of you! And you too, God will bless you!
Everyone called of God is for glorification.

He is the one who called you. Before anybody preaches to you, you have been predestined by God. In life, hear this and hear me well, to accomplish the impossible you must believe it is possible. Mark 9:23. Church Gist. True greatness is not about never falling, it’s about rising every time you stumble. Proverbs 24:16. That you fell in business does not mean you should write yourself out. That you started Ministry and there is nothing to show for it does not mean you should write yourself out.
-That you are a part of this celebration, in the name of Jesus your story will change.
1 Corinthians 10:13. He said there is no challenge any of us is going through that God will not see us through. Church Gist. No matter how it is, it is common.
– And God will see you and I through!
Why you shouldn’t count yourself out. Hear this story, life story that happened. In Atlanta 1996 Olympics, the Football Tournament. Something rare happened in a match between Nigeria and Brazil at the Semi-finals. Nigeria was 3 goals down to Brazil, virtually everyone gave up hope. Church Gist. I also watched that match then, that it was over, that Nigeria can never bounce back. But to the amazement of all, Nigeria equalized from 3 goals to nothing to 3:4 and finally won the match. Kanu scored the last goal. The interesting part of this story is that, the winning goal that gave Nigeria the victory was scored at the 93rd minute of the extra time. Hear this and hear me well, the time your winning goal in life comes is not as important as the actual success you secure before your time on earth is over.
Just like people will always ask: ‘Who won the football match and not what time did they win? It is not when you become successful, ah! No matter the time you become successful God will always make sure people remember you for that success. You are correct whether you succeed at 20 (years) or at 80 (years). Hear this fundamental truth, there is no age limit for success in life. Age is a number, don’t allow calendar confuse you. The reality of success is found in your mentality and not in your calendar. It is never too late to be right. Church Gist. It is on record that almost half of the top executives in any country today are between the ages of 55 and most of the 80. Some of them became Presidents even close to 80 like the one in United States, very close to 80, even in your country – I don’t mean now, it has always. Buhari that left was very close to 80 if not 80 (years). So it doesn’t matter where you start and when you start. Hear this and hear me well, God blesses the eleventh-hour people as He blesses the third-hour people. Matthew 20:3-6. Both third and both eleventh were all blessed.
-I don’t know how life has been to you, something good will happen after now!
Hear this, although you may not be able to go back and make the brand new start but you can start from where you are now. Church Gist. I will give you a typical example of a man called Moses. Moses, he started his journey to success in life at age 80 but took the world by storm within 40 years.
-You too, your story will be the next!
Abraham started his journey to success at age 75 but took his world by storm and lived for another 100 years. Sarah started her journey to fruitfulness at age 90. Church Gist. You can learn new things in your life if you are willing to be a beginner. What you don’t give up on today determines what you will be known for tomorrow.
Hear me and hear me well, I will tell you things that will provoke your success no matter your age and I will just share with you just three of them for this special day.
Things that will provoke your success no matter your age:
1. Think yourself out of being a failure. Proverb 23:7 Mentality affects performance. To think old, behave old and talk old is to become old. Don’t think you are old, don’t behave old and don’t talk old. Moses started at 80. He would have said “I’m an old man, God there is no point using me again.” Abraham -75, he would have said “I am very old, there is no point calling me.” So don’t think old, don’t act old and don’t talk old.
The impact of Abraham was 75. You too can start making impact with age notwithstanding. Moses never saw himself become old at 80 neither did Aaron see himself become old at 83. Church Gist. Moses and Aaron found their bearing with God in their lives as old men. They were already old. Age is not a determinant of success.
Hear this and hear me well people of God all over the world “instead of counting your days focus on making your days count.” The only real chance you have in life is the chance you give your life. Church Gist. Once you tell yourself that you are too old to secure success, all your bones, tendons, ligaments will clamp, resisting you from taking the next step for success. Try to do it. Tell yourself you are old immediately everything in you will begin to show old age. Age is a mentality issue (just begin to think you are old).
There is something I saw from God’s Word that the portion of the Bible you believe is what will benefit you. Even great men of God, you hear them say “give, it shall be given unto you” – they preach prosperity and they tell you “I have faith to prosper.” He says “by His stripes I am healed” because he believes the Bible but when it comes to age, he says no “I am getting old” but the Bible said “as your days, so shall your strength be.” Church Gist. So we are taking that part of the Bible away. So even the man of God will tell you, “you know I am getting old now, I have to take it small small” but the same Bible said as your days, so shall your strength be. So if you believe as your days then your strength should also be like that. Why will you believe one part and throw away the other part?
Even if I am 80, this is how I will look. I don’t look my age because I saw from God’s Word as my days so shall my strength be. Church Gist. His natural forces were not abated. At 120, he (Moses) was still a man. So why will you be 70 and now say I am an old man. I pray that mentality will leave you forever.
Numerous failures in life occur because people didn’t realize how close they were to success when they chose to give up. Say “I won’t give up.” It’s okay to scream, it’s okay to cry but never surrender. Don’t throw in the trowel.
2. Focus on being productive no matter your age. Those who function in life don’t make retirement their option. Psalm 92:14. Where did you see Abraham retire? Where did you hear that Moses retired? Moses led Israel at 120 till God called him. True? Never give up on life because of how old you are. Church Gist. Old age is not synonymous with failure or fruitlessness. Proverbs 24:10. Say “my case is not close, I will brace up, God is taking me to higher heights in the name of Jesus.”
3. Possess a fighting spirit with your uniqueness. If you know you cannot get a medal in the sprint races like 100 metres and 200 metres, train for marathon and mile races. You may not be fast like the sprint but you can develop strength to endure the race and still make a mark by winning a medal. Courage and determination were two forces that helped the snail walk into the ark. Church Gist. Others went fast, it was slow but it got there. So if your strength can’t be for 100 metres run the long one at the end you will still make it…and I see you make it.
Only the courageous will become prestigious. Be determined to fight for your future and succeed. People may give up on you but refuse to give up on yourself. Ecclesiastes 9:4. Church Gist. Let me share this story with you (live story). At a point in my life, most people thought I can never succeed but I fought my way through with God to the glory of God, the proofs are showing.
Anytime you start, God is always with you. We left Bible school…I didn’t start when every other person started. Bible school ended in July, we got married in August…I couldn’t start. Everybody started, I couldn’t. It was as if I have failed forever. I started the following year April. Church Gist. Just imagine! July (see how many months passed) August -maybe August you will say it’s because of wedding. After wedding…August, September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April (following year.)
It is not when you start, it’s how God backs you. Today, no matter where you are now and things may seem not working because you have come to be a part of this birthday celebration, things will work for you in the name of Jesus. Church Gist. Grace will be released to compress all the lost years and you will gain speed in the name of Jesus. The louder your Amen, you will have it done. In the name of Jesus.
There is a story many people don’t know about in Israel. In Israel, daughters were not permitted by law to have inheritance. Then something changed under Moses. Rivers State also have that kind of policy. Church Gist. There are tribes till tomorrow, only the men are permitted to inherit their father’s property which is very demonic, satanic and ungodly because the children – are they bastards? Women are also children. He said “children are heritage of the Lord” He didn’t say men are heritage of the Lord. So man and woman should have inheritance from their parents. Thank God Rivers State set the pace. So daughters were not allowed to have inheritance (in Israel.)
Numbers 27:1-7.
– whatever belongs to you, I decree on this special day to be released to you in the name of Jesus!
– even if you’re deprived of something that belongs to you, it will be released right now!
Challenging pasts often lead to wonderful destinations. Every mountain top is attainable if you persistently keep climbing. When thoughts of giving up arise, reflect on the reasons you began. Church Gist. Do not be afraid of failure, rather avoid the regret of not trying. Hear me and hear me well, not every storm arises to destroy your life, some come to clear your way forward, so don’t give up. If there was no HIV, I wouldn’t have gotten into healing ministry. If there was no Goliath, there wouldn’t have been King David. Church Gist. What is posing a threat to you now is actually to stop you from getting your possession. Confront it, no matter the age and conquer. When your mind tells you to quit, ignore the negativity, press on and you’ll make it.
– I see you make it in the name of Jesus!
You may be the only one on earth who believes that it can be done, remember, one star can illuminate an entire universe of darkness. Church Gist. So, never lose hope and never give up.
– say, “I will never give up!”
If you think we got here in this age, many times, it has come as if I should give up, people can even make you want to give up. One of the musician’s said, “friends may fail you, oshimiri atata (water that never run dry) will not”. Church Gist. It’s true, the changing nature of man. Somebody who says, “I love you today” can decide to destroy you tomorrow. That’s how man is. So, no matter what you go through, don’t give up. Psalm 27:10, You know why David said so? If you know the story of David, the woman in the house was not his mother, that was why they told him to go to the forest where wild beasts were. Her own children were in the house, she’ll say, “you, go and die”. Church Gist. That’s why a lion came after him, a bear came after him. It was actually preparing him for Goliath. If not for that bear and that lion, he would have been afraid of Goliath. So, what you’re going through now is actually preparing you for greatness. Church Gist. You’re going through that challenge because God wants you to be strengthened so that when the bigger one comes, you’ll just laugh.
– This birthday will mark the beginning of the giant in you coming alive in the name of Jesus!
Even the economy of Nigeria is actually for the beginning of greatness of Nigerians because every country you see that metamorphosed to greatness passed through some corruption and difficulties, then all of a sudden, those who refused to give up made it. Church Gist. For instance, in Nigeria where we are transmitting from, everything has gone up, somebody may say, “the challenge is too much and I want to run away”, no, for things to go up, it’s telling you now to begin to manufacture things from inside because you can’t buy cloth now with dollar, so begin to produce clothes with what you have. Church Gist. Our fathers used burnt bricks to build upstairs, if you see olden days government quarters, they were burnt bricks, now, what is happening, they’re depending only on cement. So, God is telling to use what you have to produce something.
Let me share something with you and I will be through, Job 14:7-9. We’re the trees of righteousness.
– say with me, “there’s hope”.
You know what it’s saying? Though your problem may look hopeless, your problem may look as if nothing can work again, there’s hope. God is saying, “it may look as if this case is closed, nothing can open that chapter, there’s hope”. Church Gist. If you say, “well, my business has crashed”, your business did not crash more than Job. Job’s own crashed to a point where it was hopelessly hopeless. That’s to say there’s hope. You’ll say, “I have most everything in life”, Job lost all including children. Though we’ll not lose children but it’ll still bounce back again. Whatever, there’s hope. You’ll say, “I’m so broke”, the prodigal son was broker than broke, there’s hope. You’ll say, “the Church God gave me to Pastor, nobody”. They left Jesus when he preached a very hard message, after a while, all of them came back like crowd. Church Gist. He said, “Peter, won’t you go too?” Peter said, “I’ll not go anywhere, we will stay with you”. He said, “this Church was 5,000, we don’t know what has happened, 50 people”, there’s hope. All of a sudden, the crowd came back to him again.
– I don’t know what you have lost before you came for this meeting, it will be restored back in the precious name of Jesus!
He said, it may look as if it’s hopeless. When I was working, there was as an elderly man, two of them have been friends and I love them so much, they’ve been friends since they graduated from school and I saw the other one is a military man. Church Gist. The other was one time past Governor of Rivers State and I just saw them, when I saw the walking stick, I knew immediately that he has a challenge. There’s hope. The one who created the body has new parts.
– In case you have been damaged, on this special day, God will give you new parts!
One of the young men in the house who works around me gave a very touching testimony. He said his own sister, one part of her body was completely dead that if you use hammer to hit that part she will not feel it. She almost gave up a night before some days…just about 3 or 4 days. He said he had to pray for her to be sustained. They took her to the hospital, the whole part of one part was paralyzed. Church Gist. Not that kind of paralysis, the paralysis that you will pinch the body, she will not feel it. You hit with hammer, she will not feel it. It was swollen and then I just talked about the Holy Spirit gives life from the early online morning devotion. As we just shouted, she said as we shouted that word, she was hooked up to the online morning devotion. He showed me the video, he said, “Sir, see my sister”. She lifted the hand and was waving that same hand the same day. She said the moment that word came, life surged into the hand and she waved her hand and sent the picture to him as a brother and said, “See my hand”, I’m sure she’s watching this service.
– Now in the name of Jesus, no matter how dead that part has been, life will surge in, in the name of Jesus.
John 14:9. It says no matter how hopelessly hopeless your case may be, as long as God’s Word is on, you’re bouncing back again. Don’t give up because God has not given up on you. Anytime He comes is the best time. They said to Him, “Lazarus your friend is sick”, He said, “Relax, it’s for the glory of God” and we all know Lazarus died, they even mocked Him that is it now you are coming when it’s too late? There’s is nothing to be done. Church Gist. But He said, “Anytime I come is never late” and when He appeared death walked out because resurrection cannot appear and death remains. John 11:4, 25.
– I don’t know what has died in you. Today, it will come alive.
A young man walked up to me who is a minister of the gospel and said, “My marriage has crashed”, I said Why? he said, “Because as a man I can’t perform so my wife has left me”. Compassion welled on my inside. This is a young man in his 30s. I said from 30s you can’t perform then what will you do the rest of your life. He said, “She left because my body can’t move”. He said that’s the reason. I said ‘Is that the reason?’ Compassion welled on my inside. Church Gist. I said, ‘Jesus, give life to the body’ It was a Thursday service, the same Thursday, he said, “Sir, you can’t believe, as I left service my body came back”
– I don’t know what has died in you, I don’t know what is dead around you, including your body and business, in the name of Jesus Christ whose I am and whom I serve, today that part will receive life.
Even the message at the time, I said I’m not going to preach this message. I wanted to give up to give it to somebody to preach. But He gave me the message. It got to a point yesterday I said I’m not going to preach today. But He said, “I gave you the message, I will strengthen you to preach it”
– No matter what you are going through, I decree a turnaround for you.
– This birthday will mark the beginning of somebody’s life going back to rise again.
So, it’s never too late to pursue your dreams and become the person you aspire to be. It’s never late because great is your future. I will just take one song and from my heart, I will pray for us. There is hope.
It’s not just a birthday to celebrate for funfair, it’s a birthday to change your story. Don’t give up. No matter who has given up on you, don’t give up.
3 Sundays ago I was teaching on the altar not even on healing and the man they showed on the screen just came out with a very humbling testimony. 5 years ago, 2 of his teeth, he had an accident, was off… and inside the service the teeth…I can’t call it whether grow or how do you call it? The two, supernaturally, God gave him 2 new ones and also the same day in Bauchi state, Nigeria, another one said they extracted a tooth and that one too grew and when God gives you it’s not the artificial type, the gum, everything, the same way. This was the one from Bauchi state (a picture on the screen) then the one from the Bible school.
– I don’t know what you’re going through, you came to celebrate with us. Everyone hearing me you have the Spirit of God in you, whatever God has done for me, He will do greater for you.
It is what you love you attract, if you don’t love me you wouldn’t have left all to be a part of this meeting. Church Gist. Whether you’re watching from any part of the world, I pray from my heart, anything this man standing God has done for me may He do greater for you in the name of Jesus.
No matter the age you are, I declare the supernatural speed to accomplish all your dreams. I started at 33. I didn’t tell you my own story. I became born again at the age of 33. That may look like late. That’s when some people are already rounding off, me that’s my starting point but God can make you achieve something within short years. It doesn’t matter how, when God wants to bless you He can compress.
– In the name of Jesus, being a part of this birthday celebration is an indication that God will give you speed.
A man of God walked into our sitting room yesterday with his wife and he said, “Sir, do you know why I want to be close to you? Everything you do succeeds. Church Gist. You started Online Morning Devotion without any advertisement, see the speed. Everything you touch just works.” I was looking at him. I told you offering he gave to me, somebody said, “That Church do they give offering? (I won’t call the name of the Church), “ah, Pastor from that Church gave you offering? You must be a different man.” You know there are Churches people believe they don’t do offering. (I replied the person and said) “He gives me every month. The Church he comes from they don’t give but he gives and he is prospering.”
But from my heart, that you have come to celebrate with us, may celebration never cease in your life!
I will never say what God did not say to me. He said, “ask them under this anointing to ask for anything. Now because they’ve come to celebrate with you I will give it to them.” Church Gist. Don’t pray long prayer, from your heart tell him whatever you know it will take only God to do and you will see – whether you are a minister of the Gospel, whether you’re a brother or a sister anywhere in the world, it will happen to you. Lift your voice, in obedience to His Word just tell him whatever you want him to do for you as you have come to celebrate with me.

– Because of this Birthday Celebration, I decree even if it’s Cancer, today it will leave your body!
– No matter the disease, you’re not going to go home with it!
– Everything giving you concern, today it is over!
– That secret request you placed to God by divine instruction, it is now delivered as a miracle to you in the name of Jesus!
– If I be a man of God, before I turn 62 that miracle is done! If I heard God clearly, before I turn 62 that miracle of yours is delivered!
– There’s no situation you have presented to God that you will not return with a testimony!
– No one no matter how old you are that will not be alive to see that time! So shall it be in the name of Jesus! He said, your birthday is not funfair, your birthday is to bless people. When I have birthday I fast to bless people. Every time I have birthday I use it to bless people and I know someone will return with testimonies. It has started!!!
Thank God for the celebrations, thank God for the miracles, the greatest of all is your soul. Until a man is born again, something is missing in his life. Wherever you are, any part of the world and you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, I want you to know that He loves you. Church Gist. A day will come when every one of us will leave this world and stand before Him and give an account of our stewardship. You are not going to miss it because you committed sin, you are going to miss it because you refused to accept Jesus. He loves you even in your sin.

All of our churches all over the world are jammed. Both members and non-members came to celebrate me. God will reward all of you. I am celebrated by Muslims, Catholics, Hindus, everybody. A Muslim came and said to me “You are my pastor”. He said “Papa, today is your birthday.” Everybody! I cut across religion. Those who are not even born again, even witch doctors are celebrating me. I saw a man of God who made me change my perspective, Billy Graham. When he died I saw core Islamic religious leaders come for his burial. Church Gist. Everybody physically came with their Islamic attire. So you don’t have to affect only Church people, you can also affect beyond the church. I have seen core Muslims, one even came this evening to give me something. He called me Papa, he didn’t call me Pastor. He said “Happy Birthday Papa.” He bowed his head and I touched him, I said, “Jesus loves you, say Amen”. He said Amen. He said he was coming back again after service. It doesn’t matter. The people who favoured Jesus were not children of God, they were stargazers. You will get favour where you never believed it.
It was Pharaoh who favoured Joseph, who was Pharaoh? A magician, an occultic man yet he favoured Joseph.
– I decree by this birthday celebration, nations will favour you.
– People who don’t go to Church will honour you. They will bow and salute you in the name of Jesus.
Don’t expect favour from only Church people. The star gazers who came to honour Jesus were not church people. They followed a star so they were not church people but they came to honour Jesus. At the airport with my wife, a core top Muslim ran after me and said I was his pastor. As at that time, he was a top citizen of this country. He is still a Muslim till today. Church Gist. I am his pastor truly. A woman met us at Transcorp with her face covered, you could only see her eyes. She said “You are my pastor. I watch you every day. I don’t miss any of your programs.” She bowed her head. You could only see her eyes in her hijab so you will know she is a strong Muslim. My wife was there, some of us were there.
So you don’t have to be blessing only church people.
– I decree that after this birthday celebration, God will do bigger things in your life. Church Gist.
– I pray from my heart for all the men of God, you have seen crowds gathered everywhere to celebrate me because you love me, your own next birthday celebration they will gather.
It is what you love that you attract. You came because you love me. Our branches all over the world are jammed. If you go to Lagos, it is jammed. Church Gist. Enugu jammed, Ilorin jammed, Kano jammed for the birthday of a man. People who don’t go to Church are here. Many of them are not even Christians but they came.
– To everyone who said ‘I love what is happening’ your own next birthday crowd will gather to celebrate you in the name of Jesus.
