We serve a God that does wonders in praise. Who is like unto Thee, Oh God? Who is like Thee? Church Gist. Glorious in holiness, fearful in praises doing wonders.
-Expect wonders to take place in your life tonight!
That my daughter caught a Word from the Lord: ‘Your Father is a baby maker, you can’t afford to remain a baby beggar’. Church Gist. She said in the same light: ‘My Father is a job creator, I cannot be a job beggar’. She said: ‘Immediately, I switched over to praise, to thanksgiving…’ And she got double. Double, double, double!
-God will surprise you!
She heard something and she did something with what she heard and God showed up. Church Gist. It is not enough to hear, it is important to do something, do the right thing, do what He says you should do about what you have heard.
-As you brighten your countenance in thanksgiving and appreciation to God, He will change your story like a dream of the night.
The man smiled – The woman or whatever he was smiled at my daughter and said: ‘You are overqualified for what you applied for, I have these two for you’. Church Gist. She said: ‘I can do the two’, then they gave her the job. I mean offer for the two, looking for one, she got two.
-God will surprise you!
She switched over to thanksgiving and God smiled on her.
-May Heaven smile on you this time!
She wasn’t bombarding the gates of Heaven, she was celebrating God for access and as she did, God showed up.

Praise God! I’m finally on the Covenant Highways of life! Congratulations! Amen and Amen.
UNDERSTANDING HOW PRAISE FACILITATES FULFILLMENT OF PROPHECIES. Every prophecy from God is ordained for fulfillment and the Bible is a bank of more sure word of prophecies. God speaks to the future, He speaks to the destiny, he speaks to the perpetuity and He speaks to the eternity of His people from Scriptures. Church Gist. The vision of all is embedded in the Word of God. Isaiah 29:11. Every prophetic Scripture is ordained for fulfillment and every word sent from the Lord through His Prophet, they are also ordained for fulfillment. All we need to learn is how to secure fulfillment of prophecies in our lives.
Prophetic Scriptures are defined as: More sure word of prophecy. 2 Peter 1:19-21. When we say: ‘Isaiah said’, the Holy Ghost spoke through Isaiah, that’s the meaning. Jeremiah said’, the Holy Ghost said through Jeremiah, that’s what it means. No prophecy is of any private interpretation, holy men spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Isaiah 34:16. So it is God speaking raw from Scriptures. Church Gist. So if prophecies that came through human vessels today still come to pass, how much more of prophetic Scriptures? How much more? Tried in fire seven times? How much more? Psalms 12:6. No flesh involved? How much more? The prophecies of Scriptures! So that they are not fulfilled does not make them a lie, it means you have not learned how to see them fulfilled. When you lay hold on how to get them fulfilled, they get fulfilled without sweat, just learn what it takes to get them fulfilled.
God’s prophetic agenda for His Church and His people are contained in Scriptures, all of our inheritance is contained in Scriptures, they are all prophetic. Acts 20:32. So we gain access to all of God’s prophetic agenda for us from Scriptures. But to see prophetic words come to pass in our lives, we must receive, believe them and put them to work. John 1:12. So you have to receive the Word! You receive and believe, you are empowered to manifest as sons of God. Church Gist. And to believe does not mean to just… Your mental accent, no! Show me your faith without your works! And I will show you my faith by my works. James 2:8. Believe in what the Word says and what the Word says it will do, to make it happen. There is always what to do. When the Word came down here, they had no wine in John 2:3-11. And the Word said: ‘Fill the waterpots with water’ – There is what to do! ‘Take it and give it to the Governor Of The Feast’ – There is what to do! ‘Oh my God! Where did you get this sweet wine from’? – There is what to do! To turn your water to wine! Every prophetic Word leaves you and me with what to do to make them happen, you don’t know what to do? Forget it!
I caught a prophetic word: ‘Coming into Full Time Ministry, who pays me Jesus’? ‘You are in my appointment, my boy! You are in my employment, I am responsible, but stay on duty, I only pay labourers, I don’t pay leaders’. (Laughing). ‘I pay labourers, I don’t pay visionaries’. Church Gist. There are many visionaries who are not labouring, they are not paid. ‘I don’t pay founders, I pay labourers’. I’ve been out on the Labour Field today, witnessing Jesus and I’m back with quite some harvest. Praise God! Eh! He pays labourers not leaders, He pays labourers not visionaries. He pays labourers not founders. There is always what to do! He has never stopped paying me since He showed me that and I received, believed and began to work on it.
I’ve never prayed one time, ‘Jesus, how do I eat today? How do I feed my family?’ Never once. Not 10 years, not 20, not 30, not 40. Waiting is wasting. Get up and do what He says to do. Church Gist. So, among others, we must continue to water the prophetic word that we receive with praise so as to bring forth fruit. We must do praise to see prophetic words come to pass. You won’t see them come to pass with complaints, with murmurings, with explanations. Praise is one vital thing to do to see prophetic words come to pass. Until you know how to praise, prophetic words can still be hanging forever. Why? Everything that God says with His mouth, only His hand can bring it to pass and one of the ways to secure the hand of God is by praise because He inhabits the praises of His people. Psalm 22:3.
1 Kings 8:15. He said it with His mouth, He can only fulfill it with His hand. 2 Chronicles 20:17,22. He fought that battle in a way nobody can imagine. He turned them against themselves. Israel never shot an arrow, they sang to the war front. You better start singing to the war front. Your battles will remain as battles until you bring God in. Church Gist. Those two instances are clear enough to make you know that praise is a must to see prophetic words in your life come to pass, praise is a must. Hannah stood up and ate bread and her countenance was no more sad and God stepped in. 1 Samuel 1:18. So, the sadness is stopping the fruitfulness, it’s stopping the blessing…that, you don’t know. Every morning, ‘I’ve been in this Church before it started. I got saved 60 years ago. What have I done to merit all these?’ That’s what you are doing. What you’re doing now is what you have done and you’re still doing it. Murmuring messes up people’s destinies. Complaints complicate people’s lives. Get out of it!
God has never done me wrong. Every good thing on this ground in this ministry, God did. Every bad thing you see here, I’m responsible, God is not. Church Gist. You better begin to see God in the light of God, in the light of His Word. He never lies. He is not a cheat. We are largely victims of our ignorance. Simple, simple things. We destroy our harvest with our mouths. Simple, simple things.
Now, What Are Prophecies?
We’ve tried to look at that severally but let’s look at a few of them bringing to remembrance the first one we had.
1: Prophecies are not religious wishes but the unfolding of divine plan. Joshua 21:45.
2: God speaks according to what He can and will do if we believe. Isaiah 14:24. The counsel of the Lord shall stand. It’s a sworn verdict.
Luke 1:45. It is believing it that brings it to pass in our lives. Every prophetic word received and believed keeps believers on the go for Christ in stewardship in season and out of season. Church Gist. Prophetic! Do you know why the Apostles came back? They heard the Word of the Lord. Luke 22:28-30. So, though they were scattered in the hour of temptation, they regathered, the prophetic word brought them in. They said, ‘We are going to live and die in this thing, there’s a throne for us in Heaven’ Acts 26:22. 2 Timothy 4:6-8. So, saying what God says as true and valid keeps you going. There is a throne for you and me reserved for us in Heaven. It is clear as we commit ourselves to His appearing. ‘This gospel shall be preached among all nations and then shall the end come’ Stay committed through all the temptations that may come along the line. There is a throne for you and me in Heaven. That prophetic word kept the early Apostles in place. Church Gist. Temptations came down in Jerusalem, none of them moved out. They stood there to face it. They faced it and conquered it. That’s how powerful prophetic words are.
I heard the Word from the Lord: ‘You seek me, seek first my Kingdom. If you seek first my Kingdom and all these things that others are dying to get shall be added unto you’ So what am I looking for that there is a crown for me in Heaven…and so if you ask me what is my ambition, my ambition is to hear from Heaven, from God when I get there, ‘Well done, thou good and faithful servant’ I must get there. My life is invested in the vow to get there. Church Gist. Why? I know it is sweeter than anything you can ever imagine. It is the haven of rest and it is for eternity. You can’t have His prophetic word and then get weary.
– Something great is on your way happening in the name of Jesus Christ.
So, it strengthens us to keep engaging in serving God and the interest of His Kingdom.
Prophecies are not predictions, they are sworn values. You hear, “This and this would happen”. I saw some projections of one great nation in 2025 and they are fantastic ideas but those are mere predictions. God speaks according to His unlimited resources, not our insufficiency. He has everything in His hand, He doesn’t look for them, He just speaks them into existence. He spake and they were created so He speaks according to His unlimited resources. “He would build this Tabernacle within one year”. Did He do it or not? He did. With whose resources? His resources because there was no begging, there was no appeal but He did it. He built the first phase of Covenant University in 7 months. With whose resources? His resources. Church Gist. All that we put together will not do it for two months. He did it without borrowing without begging. God speaks according to His unlimited resources. Moses cried to God, “How do we do it”. He said, “I will rain bread from heaven”. Did He do it or not? And He did it for forty years. He speaks according to His unlimited resources. Haggai 2:8. God has a working budget for everything He commands. Psalms 24:1.
How Praise Facilitates The Fulfilment of Prophecies.
Praise focuses on the efficacy of what is written and not what is happening. The object of praise is what is written which goes to define the happenings. Psalms 56:4-10. So, Praising the validity of the word makes them happen in our lives. It commits God to confirm them in our lives. “I know you cannot lie, it is impossible for you to lie, If you said it you will do it I celebrate you Jesus I give you glory for this, it is done already”. Praise God. 1st Thessalonians 5:18,24. As you keep giving thanks, God is committed to doing what He says He will do. In everything give thanks on the basis of His word and you have committed God to do it. Church Gist. On your personal theme let this month be a month of thanksgiving. Stop fighting, let God take over your fight. You have fought and you didn’t win, hand it over to Him. Praise God! Hand your fight over to Jesus and we do that through the mystery of thanksgiving and praise. Hand over the struggles of your life to Jesus and He will take them over. Can I hear your Amen?
All barriers to the fulfillment of prophecies clear off our path as we sustain God’s presence through praise. Can any barrier stand in the way of God? “God inhabits the praises of His people”, so when you are in praise, you are in God…and barriers clear off your path on their own accord. Church Gist. You are not struggling with them. Psalms 24:7. Nothing can stand your way when you carry God’s presence. Nothing can block your access to the fulfillment of prophecies when you carry God’s presence. Psalms 114:7,3.
– May we succeed to carry His presence, through a lifestyle of thanksgiving and praise, through an addiction to the mystery of thanksgiving and praise.
Barriers only survive when God’s presence is not in place. 2nd Chronicles 20:22. Psalms 99:1. Acts 16:25. They were turned into celebrities from the realm of shame and reproach. Acts 16:30. Everything turned when God stepped in. Church Gist. All barriers to the fulfillment of prophecies clear off our path as we sustain God’s presence through praise. Psalms 22:3. 1st John 5:14. He hears our prayers when we pray according to His will but He comes down when we praise Him. Praise God! When God comes down everything turns.
– I see things turning for every one of us.
That is why Praise warfare is one way to provoke the God of vengeance to manifest Himself against all oppositions to the fulfillment of prophecies in our lives. Praise warfare clears up all oppositions. Church Gist. Psalms 149:6-9. So we praise God to silence our enemies. Praise God! That’s why the fulfillment of prophecies is triggered by praise warfare. 2nd Chronicles 20:22,17.
– It’s your turn for a change of story.
Now let me say this, for your labor on the harvest field to yield fruits, you need an attitude of thanksgiving and praise. The quality of the seed not withstanding, without watering, it would die. Let me show you this mystery from the scriptures. Deuteronomy 1:11. So He is a multiplier. We serve a multiplier God. Acts 2:11. Church Gist. The Holy Ghost came and triggered that mystery of praise through these disciples in the upper room and the result, the Church multiplied 25 times. Acts 2:41.
John 6:11. Jesus took the loaves and the fish and lifted up his eyes and gave thanks and distributed unendingly. The 5,000 men minus women and children fed and had leftovers. As He gave thanks. You see 11-11-11. Church Gist. Deuteronomy 1:11 – Multiplier God, Acts 2:11 – they were speaking the wonderful works of God and he multiplied them supernaturally in verse 21. John 6:11 – He gave thanks and the bread multiplied exceedingly.
Behind every sustainable Church Growth is intense Thanksgiving. Jeremiah 30:19. Thanksgiving is more powerful than any prayer item as far as Church Growth is concerned. As far as multiplication is concerned, thanksgiving is a must. You can pray for growth but to see multiplication you need thanksgiving. When we combine prayers with intense Thanksgiving we keep enjoying auto growth frequency. It keeps growing by the hand of the multiplier God. He gave thanks and a little boy’s lunch fed about 10,000 people minimum because women and children are always more in those meetings. Church Gist. They were all fully fed and left twelve baskets through thanksgiving. John 6:12. Every successful soul winner must be a thanksgiver. Every successful ingatherer must be a thanksgiver. Thanksgiving will make our effort yield amazing results. Our labours shall not be in vain anymore. We are going to experience never know multiplication before this year is over. Something will burst open as we step out giving God thanks. That my daughter gave God thanks and on the Monday that followed she was called for an interview. The interview was scheduled for Saturday, she got two jobs on Saturday through a switch over to thanksgiving.
Whatever has not been working in your life according to you thanksgiving is what remains. Trigger it with thanksgiving. I thank you as we were told yesterday, for making me a candidate for a job, what if I were not? I thank you for making me a candidate for marriage, what if I were not? If anyone was a leper, is it marriage he is looking for? He is looking for cleansing and healing. If anyone is down with sickness, is he looking for a job? He is looking for healing. Thank God for making you a candidate suitable for a job, suitable for a suitor, suitable for breakthrough. Church Gist. Thank God intensely for being a job creator who will not allow you to remain a job beggar. For being the baby maker who will not watch you begging for a baby. Thank God for being the waymaker. Thank God for what He said in His Word concerning you and things will turn. That is what to take home. It is a brand new day for you.
Can I tell you this? When we thank God for one person saved, it will turn to two. You thank God for two, it will soon become four. That is how we grew. We grew like that from the beginning, thanking God without any ill feelings. We built a grass cathedral, we were very excited about it. That you know this is the largest grass cathedral in the world. If you find anyone bigger than this, let me know. We were thanking God and from that batcher, He took us to a property of 13 acres. God will respond to thanksgiving in moving you forward. Habakkuk 3:17-19. You are changing level finally. You will never be stranded in life again. Church Gist. Thanksgiving and praise are a vital mystery for seeing God’s Word concerning you come to pass. Give Him thanks for where you are, He will take you to where you are going. Give Him thanks for your one room, it will soon become two rooms. Give Him thanks for your two rooms, it will soon become a flat. Give Him thanks for the job you have now, better jobs are awaiting you. Give Him thanks for where your business is, greater days are ahead.
The Lord sent a Word to Hezekiah that he will not die. Hezekiah did something, he said, “Because the Lord will heal me, I will sing my songs.” He hasn’t healed him yet. Isaiah 38:20. Anything you see in the Word is what God wants to do in your life. So sing to make it happen. Church Gist. Sing your song, let it be your song, coming from the depth of your heart. Not our song, your song. Let it come from within you and God will make it happen. Anything God says in the Word, God can make it happen but you need to praise Him. Someone’s story has just changed. Isaiah 38:19.
How many people now know what to do? He said, “One thing thou lackest”. One thing! Everything is in place except one thing. A car does not break down because everything breaks down. Church Gist. It is just one thing that breaks down and the whole car is grounded. You will never be grounded anymore. Thanksgiving will bring God in and pave the way for you.
– By this encounter tonight, the days of depression are over in your life.
– The days of murmuring and complaining are over in your life
– The days of celebration have come alive in your life. Church Gist.
– From henceforth your head will not be bowed down anymore.
– You will not cast down your head any more.
– No more weeping behind closed doors any more.
The more thankful you are, the more fulfilling your life becomes.
– Grace to remain thankful, receive it right now.
Luke 10:21.
– May the attitude of remaining thankful every day of your life come alive in each one of us.
Although things may not be happening the way you want them at a time, If you keep rejoicing God will show up and when He shows up He will make your feet like hind feet and get you upon your high places. Church Gist.
– Every of your lost years shall be recovered.
– Every barrier on your path clears the way right now.
– This is ordained your month of change.
– Your long-awaited change is taking place this month.
