THANKSGIVING USHERS US INTO GOD’s PRESENCE.
YOU CAN’T BE IN GOD’s PRESENCE AND RUN DRY. YOU KEEP FLOURISHING.
SINCE GOD SHOWED ME MATTHEW 6:33, I HAVE NEVER BEGGED, BORROWED, NOR LACKED.
IT IS NOT WHAT WE KNOW THAT CHANGES US BUT WHAT WE DO WITH WHAT WE KNOW.
WHEN YOU WALK IN THE WAYS OF GOD, YOU BECOME A COMMANDER OF HIS ACTS.

Praise the Lord. Lift up those two hands everyone. One more time, let’s give Him thanks for seeing us through the entire year up till now. Having been delivered from such a great death and in whom we trust that He will yet deliver us. Church Gist. Give Him thanks for diverse escapes, most of which we will never know. Give Him thanks for preservation, the precious gift of life. Will you give Him thanks for keeping you in the faith? Hitherto, give God thanks. It is by His mercies that we are not consumed.
In Jesus precious name we have given thanks.
Psalm 91:6. But we went through all the days of the Year, all the nights in the Year and we are still here today.
– Give the Lord a big hand of praise.
Psalm 91:7. Because He is our covering, give Him another big hand of praise.
Thank you, Jesus.
Now, access to His ways is key to an ever flourishing life. Psalm 103:7. When you know His ways and you go His ways, you are in command of His acts. Church Gist. One of the greatest takeaways from the Year is the mercy of thanksgiving.
– How many will say Amen to that?
-May this mystery confer mastery over each one’s life.
– May everything dying or dead in us bounce back to life through the mystery of Thanksgiving.
– May your cruise of oil never fail.
– May your pot of flour never run empty in the name of Jesus.
– Thank you, Father. Give the Lord a big hand of praise and get seated, please.
What gives Thanksgiving value is a heart of gratitude. Only the grateful can be joyful and only the joyful are qualified to sing praises. James 5:13. If he is not merry, let him keep quiet. Praising God without joy in the heart is noise making, never flies. Church Gist. So, for our praise to work wonders, it must take root from our sense of gratitude. Amos 5:23. So, it becomes mere noise when it is not stemmed out of a heart of gratitude. Saying it is not a proof, it is not enough proof. Isaiah 29:13. It is a heart of gratitude that matters.
Among the mysteries of Thanksgiving is access to the Throne of grace. Access on the Altar of prayer. Psalm 100:4. You enter with thanksgiving. You will be thankful to gain audience, then you can now communicate. Philippians 4:6. Church Gist. He can’t know it, He won’t hear it without thanksgiving. Acknowledging what He has done is what qualifies you for what you want Him to do. So, you have to accompany your supplication and prayers with thanksgiving for audience…and among the wonders of these like we have heard several times is it causes you to keep flourishing. Psalm 16:11. Church Gist. So, you can’t be in His presence and run dry and thanksgiving ushers you and me access into His presence and secures our place in His presence. So, we keep flourishing. Psalm 92:1,2,10-15.
– I see a vital key in your hand and my hand to keep flourishing in hard times.
The hard times of the World is the high times of the Church. The World is in a hard time. Church Gist. We are in our high times. Habakkuk 3:17-19. I can turn things around by rejoicing in the Lord. Praise God! Rejoicing in the Lord will turn things around for me and for anybody else.
Among the mysteries of acceptable praise is the suspense of natural laws. It ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Abraham was now as dead as wood yet natural laws were suspended and Isaac came. Church Gist. So, it stirs supernatural happenings. In the precious name of Jesus, every life here shall be satisfied with the goodness of the Lord in spite of the happenings in the environment as you commit yourself to this thing.
You know, it is not what we know that changes us but what we do with what we know. Church Gist. So, it’s your turn to wake up and do the needful so you can experience the best of God as we step into the New Year in the name of Jesus.
So anybody can praise his way out of every siege of barrenness to fruitfulness. Isaiah 54:1…“I will turn things around for him.” You can sing your way out of dry season into the realm of flourishing. Isaiah 54:2-3…that’s the mystery. But all that stems out of a heart of gratitude. Is any merry? Then, let him sing. If he is not merry, let him keep quiet. It won’t fly. His singing won’t fly. His dancing won’t fly. Church Gist. If all you are saying today is that “look at, this is December 30th, look at me! Which highway now?” The thing shown you, are the highways. The highways is walking in the light that you received.
Since He showed me Matthew 6:33, I have never begged, I have never borrowed, I have never lacked. So what is your highway? Church Gist. Since He showed me the Mystery of Church growth, we have been on the highway of Church growth globally.
The highways of life is walking in the ways of scriptures as revealed to you. You can’t wish to get yourself on the highway of life. You walk your way, you walk your steps on the highways of life. Church Gist. Matthew 7:24. Let’s stop deceiving ourselves. Let’s start walking in the light of scriptures into the ‘great great’ things that God has in stock for us.
Again, no one asks anything from God today. No one asks anything from God tomorrow. Just give thanks for everything, in everything and for everything. When you walk in the ways of God, you are in command of the acts of God. That individual lost his job and everything looks dry. He switched over to giving thanks to God and got a much higher job within 15 days of engagement. Church Gist. Let’s stop watching for things to happen, let’s start working out our salvation by putting the Word to work as He reveals them to us.
May the highway of thanksgiving unveiled to us in this season remain a spiritual asset for life for each and everyone of us! Stand to your feet everyone. Give the Lord the biggest hand of praise and again lift up your two hands and thank Him both in the Spirit and in your understanding for His good hand upon your life since January 1st till this day, December 30th. Would you give Him thanks for the gift of life? Man’s greatest asset is life. Thank God for the gift of life. Thank Him for victories won without your knowledge. Thank Him for battles won without your knowledge. Thank Him for the diverse unspeakable gifts of life that have kept adding value to your life and my life hitherto. In Jesus precious name we have prayed!
2 Corinthians 1:10. Now, maybe you have never imagined that some fellows went to bed, no sickness, no disease but just never woke up. Church Gist. There was no health issue. They just went to bed as any other normal day but would not wake up in the morning. But you slept, I slept and we awoke because He sustained us. So, we are delivered from death night and day.
Lift up your two hands and thank Him for delivering you from so great a death several of which, you didn’t know, which I didn’t know. Give Him thanks. Give Him thanks. Church Gist. Give Him thanks one more time everybody. Do that with all your heart. Blessed be your name Jesus! In Jesus precious name we have prayed!
Many people’s faith has failed but he kept your own alive. Many people’s love for God has waxed cold, he kept your own on fire, we owe Him thanks.
