31st December 1985: Yoido Full Gospel Church membership surpasses 500,000. It is the largest Pentecostal Christian congregation in South Korea. It was founded by David Yonggi Cho and Choi Ja-shil both of blessed memory.

31st December 1891: Bishop Ajayi Crowther goes to be with the Lord in Lagos. He translated the Bible into several African languages. He was the first African Anglican Bishop. 

31st December 1984: Archbishop Sam Amaga and his wife Pastor Love Sam – Amaga are commissioned into Missionary Ministry. He is the founder of Salem International Christian Center. 

31st December 1994: Pastor Andrew weds Ndidi Osakwe. He is the founder of Summit Bible Church. Their union is blessed with four lovely children. 

31st December 1974: Pastor Priscilla Shirer is born. She is an evangelist, author, actress and a motivational speaker. She co-founded ‘Going Beyond Ministries’ with her husband, Jerry Shirer.

31st December 1981: A television studio is opened by Yoido Full Gospel Church to broadcast Worship Services both nationally and internationally.
