This One Night With The King is ordained a night of encounters and all we need is to set ourselves for one. Elijah said to Elisha, “If you see me when I am caught up, it shall be yours.” That means there are catch-up moments in every prophetic assembly like we have tonight. Something comes and His Word strikes like lightning. It is for the change you are looking for. Church Gist. A verse comes through and darkness clears the way. That is what you are looking for. Hagin never laid hands on me. He was ministering but I had raft attention, undivided attention, intense focus and suddenly I saw his face change and become like that of a little baby. Life! I have said it several times, it is not edited. While I beheld that face, something like electric shock, like lightning came to hit me in the gallery. I began sobbing like a baby, uncontrollably so. I heard Him say “My son, David, the baton has been passed over to you.” Several people are living here tonight with the winning baton of life where your days of struggling and sweating are over. Church Gist. Where your life becomes an amazement to yourself. Where every step of your life is springing surprises. You can’t catch it sleeping. You can’t have an encounter dozing. Ephesians 5:14. Don’t let your moment pass you by. It is your turn at last. When Elisha returned, it was said “The spirit of Elijah doth rest upon Elisha” and the mockers bowed to him.

Habakkuk 2:1-4. Let’s begin by looking at these facts that we are very accustomed with: Every commandment of scriptures is for our profiting. Every! Deuteronomy 28:1-2. Every commandment of scriptures is for our profiting. There is no statement of scriptures that is for God’s sake. Of His fullness have we all received (John 1:16). God does not need anything from you and me. Let pride lose its grip on your life. Church Gist. Our being in the Kingdom is not doing God any good, all the good is ours. With that understanding, you won’t see any commandment as a burden but you will see it as a privilege. A privilege for our change of story. It is so important. “I don’t agree” doesn’t change it. “Nonsense!” doesn’t change it. “That’s Old Testament” doesn’t change it. Every commandment of scriptures is for our profiting.
For instance, John 15:16. Commandment – go and bring forth fruits and ensure that they abide. What happens? Whatever you ask the Father in my name, He will give it to you. It will bring you into favour with me. If you commit to it, the end result is bringing you into favour with me. Whatever you ask the Father in my name, He will give it to you. If you are committed to that commandment, you are being brought into favour with God. Church Gist. Nothing flies like favour. The adventure of Joshua was clouded by favour. He had favour in Potiphar’s house as a slave so he prospered. He had favour in the prison and he prospered. Favour brought him to the palace and he prospered. 80 solid years. Every commandment of scriptures is for our profiting.
Proverbs 11:30, 3:35. That means soul winning terminates shame and reproach. Hebrews 13:13. Daniel 12:3. It makes stars of ordinary folks. Men without identity. So it is not abusing you, that commandment is for your decoration. Church Gist. Every commandment of Scriptures is for my profiting. Luke 10:1-2, 17-19. You enjoy divine covering being on the go for Jesus after souls. Amazing benefits!
John 4:35-36. You get on God’s payroll when you commit to soul winning and soul weaning. You birth the soul to the point that you wean them. You get on God’s payroll on which a number of us are living now. God’s payroll is real, if it were not real I would be one of the most frustrated human beings in the world. God’s payroll is real, I have been on it for over forty years. It is so real. I have never borrowed, never begged, never checked on any house for material help. Church Gist. Soul winning / soul weaning entitles you to get on God’s payroll. There is no commandment of scriptures that is a burden, it is a privilege. They are all value adding virtues. Talking about fortune, these are all steps into the realms of fortune. They are all covenant steps into realms of fortune in scriptures.

No commandment of scriptures requires your opinion, it only responds to your obedience. Kingdom advancement prayers open you and me to open rewards – rewards that cannot be hidden. Matthew 6:9-10. Church Gist. Praying for souls to be saved, praying for them to be established in the faith. God’s capital will on earth is to see souls saved. He sent His only begotten son for that purpose, not for miracles. Miracles are just supplements. They are desserts after the meal. The real meal is salvation. There were all kinds of miracles in the Old Testament. He is the same God. The dry bones of the dead came back to life when a dead body was cast into the sepulchre of Elisha. The dead man came back to life. Matthew 1:21. He sent Jesus to save us from our sins, every other thing is supplementary. When you commit to that Kingdom agenda you enjoy open rewards. Pride humbling order of rewards.
Matthew 6:17-18. You talk about rewards when you talk about service. You answer requests, you reward service. The prayer that is rewarded is Kingdom advancement prayers. Prayer that is serving God’s purpose, not your request for a suit, a waist coat and shoes. You don’t reward requests, you reward service. Church Gist. So prayer rewards involve that you are serving God on the altar. It is your year. I prayed this prayer for one of my sons, “Receive grace to take responsibility.” That is the way up. Receive grace today to take responsibility. Your portion this year another man will not take.
Every commandment of scriptures is for our profiting. For instance, love. Matthew 22:36-40. Romans 8:28. They don’t push it, the things are working together for their good. 1 Corinthians 2:9. The love of God burning hot in our hearts turns us into trailblazers, pacesetters and pathfinders. The things that the world has never seen before. There are many people here today that are moving in that realm. Many more are coming on board. The things that eyes have not seen, the things that ears have not heard or entered the heart of any man will be happening by our hands by growing our love for God. Church Gist. Love has a most elastic capacity for growth. There is a length of it, the breadth of it, the height of it and the depth of it. Ephesians 3:17-19. As we grow our love for God, it turns us into surprises to our world. May your love for God and my love for God change level this year.
Hear one big thing He said: “Love never fails.” (1 Corinthians 13:8). Your days of failure are over. As you grow in love, you are filled with all the fullness of God, can God fail? The devil came and lifted up Jesus, he couldn’t because He is too heavy to be lifted. Church Gist. When you are filled with all the fullness of God, Satan just walks by. “Nonsense, if he didn’t know this thing today, I would have shown him hell.”. You are too heavy to be blown away. May you never toy with your love for God anymore.
“When ye pray“ is a commandment, “When ye fast” is a commandment. What is in fasting? We are in it and we have explored a lot of that from Isaiah 58:6-14. Amazing things among which is the outbreak of light. I have had quite a few expeditions in my life of prayer and fasting and searching for the truth on some vital issues and I had them. The enemy is going about to blind our eyes from seeing the glorious love of God but when we get into prayer and fasting, we blast him off. This kind goeth not by prayer and fasting. Matthew 17:21. The devil is behind spiritual ignorance. Church Gist. So he wants your eyes and my eyes blinded. Some of those devils won’t move an inch without prayer and fasting. So we engage in prayer and fasting to blast it. I have heard some things from God these past few days that I have never heard before. I have been with Jesus for 55 years. February makes it 55 years. I have heard some things in the last two weeks that I have never heard or read of. Thy light shall break forth as the morning. That is one of the core returns on prayer and fasting. Outbreak of light! Isaiah 60:1.
I was telling you this morning that when we are on the field, we are serving Him. When in our service units, we are serving Him. When we come to Church, He serves us. That is why when you are going to Church you say you are going for service. You are going to be serviced. So that your engine won’t knock. You are to be serviced. Church Gist. You sit down and something happens to you while you are sitting, the servicing angels are all around. I see God servicing you right now where you are. The things behind the struggles of your life are now being revealed, so you can escape and you have escaped.
So whatever light you caught in the course of this fasting, value them and walk in them. It is for the hour. Church Gist. Whether in your private studies, in your searches, value them. Prayer and fasting is not for punishment, it is for polishment. God wants us polished.
The commandment of tithing. Malachi 3:10. Tithing is a commandment not an admonition. “That’s Old Testament”, people are insincere. “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” Is that New Testament? “He that dwells in the secret place shall abide under the shadows of the Almighty.” Is that New Testament? You enjoy all of those ones. Deuteronomy 28:1. Is that New Testament? He shall bless your going out and your coming in, you say Amen! That is not New Testament. Malachi 3:10-11. It secures our blessings. Tithing is our covenant insurance. It secures God’s blessings in our lives away from the devourers. Matthew 23:23. Tithing is what we ought to have done and not to leave the others undone. Tithing is to be done. Hebrews 7:8. You want to enter financial fortune? You better be a tither and an excited tither not a frozen face tither. Now, let’s tell the truth. If you hit 10 billion now, will you be willing to pay a tithe of 1 billion? Don’t answer me. That is why you are not near it yet. There are people who if they see one million today, God will struggle with them like the angel was wrestling with Jacob to pay 100,000. Tithing has decorated me beyond my wildest imagination in my life. Consistently so. Delightsomely so. No one can pray open heaven blessings on your life. No prophet, no apostle under the sun. Open heaven blessings answer to your tithing and kingdom advancement investments which clears the heaven from being shut over your life according to Haggai 1.
– You are entering your season of financial fortune.
Can I tell you what will help you? The whole percentage that you have, God gave you. He said acknowledge that you received my gift with 10 per cent of what I have you. He knows what He gave you, if you give less than 10 per cent, that is offering account not tithe. You haven’t tithed. It is so interesting that you can start from where you are. If you make ₦10 in your sachet water business, ₦1! God knows.
It is very important for us to know that God’s Word is the most authentic prophetic resource. Isaiah 34:16. God’s Word is the most authentic prophetic resource under the sun. God’s Word is absolutely prophetic in nature. 2 Peter 1:19. What is he talking about? 2 Peter 1:20. No prophecy of scripture is about any private interpretation. They may put it under Amos but Amos is not the one who said it. Isaiah 34:16. Church Gist. They can put it under Isaiah, it is not Isaiah who said it. That is why they said “Thus saith the Lord…” No prophecy of scriptures is of any private interpretation. Holy men spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter 1:21. When we receive and engage with prophetic words from scriptures, our daystar rises. Until the day dawns and the daystar arises in your heart, take heed to prophetic scriptures, it causes your star to rise.
Everything about the redeemed, that is you and me, covering the present, future and eternity are as contained in the volume of books called the Bible. Isaiah 29:11-12. The vision of all is in the book. The most reliable prophetic resource are the prophecies of scriptures. They are so eternally reliable. Heaven and earth will pass away but they will be there. That is why you find our prophetic lifelines every time rooted in scriptures. So don’t just proclaim those prophetic lifelines, read the scriptures that tell you what it takes to realize it. Church Gist. No one prophesied prosperity on my life, I saw it in the prophecy of scriptures. I believed it so much, I was walking in the reality of it without seeing it. We walk by faith and not by sights. No deception, no games. If you check the teachings of 1981, 1982, you won’t see poverty mentioned there. 2 Corinthians 4:18. That is how powerful prophetic scriptures are.
I saw a Church exploding in growth when we were 21, from scriptures. We had over 2 million life physical attendance at Shiloh 2023 across Nigeria. Awesome God! “I will build my Church and no gate of hell can stop it from going forward.” He said, “I will build only my Church, not your church.” You won’t hear me say this is my church forever. Not even in a dream. Because He will only build His Church, not my church. God doesn’t know jokes. In case you are an American, “My Church! My Church”. Church Gist. You better hear this, God will build His Church, not your Church and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. Your church will be floored by ordinary demons, not even the gates of hell. Demons will just play around with your church. “It is my Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. To turn you into a kingdom of Christ on earth.”
Today, God speaks to us mainly by His son who upholds all things by the Word of His power. Hebrews 1:1-3. He speaks to our present, speaks to our future, speaks to our posterity, the generation after us and to our eternity from the Word. He upholds all things by the Word of His power. Church Gist. Your views and my views are irrelevant. His Word is settled in heaven forever. Come on if you are interested. If you are not interested, good luck all the same. Prophetic scriptures constitute the surest guide in the adventure of life. Psalm 119:105, 130.
As we round up, I received the following prophetic alerts towards our repositioning as individuals in the Winners Family that will help us maximize our portion of wonders of the Fortune 2024 Divine Agenda.
1. God said mind my agenda and I will take over your affairs in life. Psalm 35:27. Church Gist. Mind my agenda and I take over your affairs in life. You will be shouting for joy all the days of your life.
2. Mind the agenda of my Kingdom on earth and I will take over your affairs in life.
Psalm 102:13-15. Church Gist. Fearful favour answers to men who mind the agenda of God’s kingdom on earth because He takes over the affairs of their lives.
3. Give me a priority place in your life and you will secure my priority attention that will lead to your enviable decoration in life.
Give me my priority place in your life and you will secure my priority attention that will lead to your enviable decoration in life. It is a very strange year for you. Matthew 6:33. “I will decorate you with glory beyond that of Solomon.” From this assembly and all that are connected to us, greater than Solomons will rise without a fall. By tying your rise to your source, God and His Kingdom. Church Gist. When Solomon stopped building for God, he started building for the devil and that was the undoing of his life. Church Gist. Tie your rise to God and you will never fall. As God is lifting you, keep lifting His Kingdom in the same dimension. Tie your rise to God and you never fall. Matthew 6:28-33. You see how God has given us a jackpot of life in verse 33.
4. Make for me first to secure your flourishing in hard times like we saw in the Widow of Zarepheth.
Elijah said, “Make for me first.” 1 Kings 17:13-15. For three and a half years, she was feeding fat by giving the Word of God a priority place in her life.
5. Mind my own first and I will take over your own.
Philippians 2:21-22. All seek their own but not the things that be of Jesus Christ. Mind my own first and I will take over your own. Set your affections on things above and you will live above all circumstances of life. That is what God is saying. Colossians 3:2. Invest in my own first and you will never know dry seasons in your life. Church Gist. Your days of dry seasons are over. Mark 10:28-30. Life everlasting on top of a hundredfold. Many are going to enter that hundredfold company this year. Whatever time you left for God, He will multiply it a hundredfold for you. Whatever resources you invest in promoting His Kingdom, He will multiply it a hundredfold for you.
6. If you stay committed to advancing my Kingdom, you have committed me to your continuous advancement in life.
He said to me, “Life is not meant for up and down but for ups and ups.” Proverbs 4:18. No one’s life shall be more and less again but more and more and more. Church Gist. Just stay committed to advancing His Kingdom at your various levels. On your prayer altar, anybody who can eat can pray if your heart is there.
7. If you stay committed to enlarging my Kingdom, you have committed me to your endless enlargement in life.
Just keep your commitment to enlarging my Kingdom and you have committed me to your continuous enlargement in life. Church Gist. In the name of Jesus, the days of harrowing and struggling are over in your life.
In conclusion, God’s blessings usually trail the believer’s obedience. As long as a believer continues to walk in obedience of faith to every instruction from God, God’s blessing will continue to follow him. Whenever a believer stops following God’s instructions, God’s blessings will stop following Him. May no one get to that side in the name of Jesus. King Saul, the son of Kish, was following Him for 40 years but he goosed at a point. Church Gist. He adjusted the command, he adjusted the instructions and God turned His back and terminated his throne. In the name of Jesus, no one will fall on that side. No believer will ever need to beg for blessings as long as he or she remains genuinely obedient to the instructions of scriptures. So instead of praying for blessings, we should pray for the grace to keep walking in obedience to every instruction of scriptures that will come our way from time to time. Jesus is Lord.
You saw the way obedience turned a nobody like Abraham to a business emperor. He will change the story of many here. The Bible admonishes that we walk in the way which our fathers walked so we can command results after the same order. No one will miss his steps in the name of Jesus. Church Gist. As a seed of Abraham, you are redeemed a global citizen and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. If you are Abraham’s seed then you do the works of Abraham, the work of tireless obedience. Raw obedience! Obedience to the full, obedience to the end, obedience of faith. That is what Abraham did to emerge a business emperor from a realm of no identity.
Give God thanks for His Word.
Being on God’s side is an asset, it is an ever-winning side.
Of all spiritual virtues, obedience puts a believer in command. Obedience commits God’s integrity in response to our desires.
Prayers: Go before the Lord and reach out to heaven. You can return with a change of story right now. Whatever is struggling with your stand with God, deal with it right now.
