14th May, 1963: Bishop Dag Heward-Mills is born to a Swiss mother Elizabeth and Ghanaian father Nathaniel Heward-Mills in London, United Kingdom. He is the Founder and presiding Bishop of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches, formerly known as Lighthouse Chapel International and the United Organization of FirstLove Churches (UO-FLC).

14th May, 1960: Pastor Idowu Iluyomade is born. He is the Senior Pastor of RCCG, City of David, Lagos State and Special Assistant to the General Overseer. He oversaw the construction and completion of Trinity Towers, a 12-floor edifice housing a 5,000-seater hall, indoor amusement for children, cinema halls, shopping strips, medical centre, gymnasium, a helipad and so on owned by RCCG, City of David Church.


14th May, 2008: The official grand opening of Wesley University Ondo (Former Wesley University of Science and Technology Ondo) takes place at the University temporary site in Ondo town.

14th May, 2003 : Leah Sharibu is born in Yobe State Nigeria. Leah was one of the 110 female pupils of the Government Girls’ Science and Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe State, who were abducted on 19th February 2018, by the Boko Haram terrorists. She was held back in custody of the terrorists (after releasing 104 others) for refusing to renounce her Christian faith.

14th May: Darasimi Mike-Bamiloye is born. She is the daughter of Evangelist Mike Bamiloye of Mount Zion Faith Ministries and wife to Evangelist Lawrence Oyor.
