18th May 2007: Pastors David Jr and Isaac Oyedepo are ordained into Full-time Ministry by Pastor Kenneth Copeland at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland Ota. Pastor David Oyedepo Junior is the Resident Pastor of Living Faith Church, Canaanland Ota and Evangelist Isaac Oyedepo is the Founder of The Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries. They are the biological children of Bishop David Oyedepo.
18th May 1988: Reverend Dr. Charles O. Osueke is elected the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria. He went to be with the Lord on 5th May 2021.
18th May 1958: The First Service of the Pastor David Yonggi Cho led Yoido Full Gospel Church is held at Daejodong, Seoul South Korea; in the living room of Pastor Choi Ja-shil, the Co-Founder of the Church and mother-in-law to Pastor David Yonggi Cho. Today, the Church is the largest Pentecostal Church in South Korea.
18th May 2013: Ohis Muyiwa Ojeikere marries his wife Anwinli. They are the founders of The Winlos and Lead Pastors at The VOTAGE (Voice Of This Age), a Church expression of the Winlos Ministry. Their marriage is blessed with a daughter, Aima Ojiekere.
18th May 1917: Dr. Mojola Agbebi goes to be with the Lord. He was the First President of the Yoruba Baptist Association and Founder of the African Baptist Union of West Africa.
18th-20th May 1954: The First General Church Assembly (GCA), now General Church Council (GCC) of the Association of Evangelical Churches of West Africa (ECWA) is held at Egbe, Kogi State, Nigeria. This was after a series of meetings embarked upon by the Sudan Interior Missions (SIM) for the formation of the Association of Evangelical Churches of West Africa (ECWA) now known as Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA).
18th May 1834: Sheldon Jackson is born in Minaville, New York. He was a Presbyterian Minister and Missionary whose Missionary work was known in Colorado and the Alaska Territory in the United States of America.
