Very sharply tonight, we shall speak on the “PROFIT OF PRAISE”. The objective is simply to understand the profitability of the lifestyle of praise. Church Gist. It is clear in Scripture that the life of praise is one of the most profitable lifestyles anybody can have. David lived a most profitable life because he was the embodiment of praise and worship. Profitable. Church Gist. If you look at the Old Testament, if you look at one of the most profitable lives, one of the most productive, one of the most resourceful, it was the life of David.
What is the profit? How profitable is praise?
- Praise is profitable for Divine Presence.
Psalm 22:3. Psalm 100:4. Psalm 89:15. Praise is profitable for divine presence. Church Gist. That is, if you’re a praiser, you don’t struggle for His presence. When people come around you, they feel God. - Praise is profitable for divine direction.
2 Kings 3:15-16. Acts 13:2. Isaiah 30:29-30. Church Gist. The frequency of praise and worship is the frequency of divine direction. - Praise is profitable for supernatural supplies.
The increase of the earth answers to praise. We read that just now in Psalm 67:3-5. John 6:9-12. Church Gist. Praise is profitable for supernatural supplies. If you know how to praise, you’re not permitted to be a victim of scarcity. - Praise is profitable for Divine favour.
Acts 2:47. Those who praise God don’t lack favour. Church Gist. Praise is profitable for divine favour, it’s cute for rejection. - Praise is profitable for additions and multiplications in life.
Anything that must be added, anything that must be multiplied. Acts 2:47. Jeremiah 30:19. Church Gist. “As they praise me, I multiply them”. Praise is profitable for additions and multiplications in life.

Proverbs 17:22. Nehemiah 8:10b. Praise is profitable for divine health and strength. The joy of the Lord is your strength. - Praise is profitable for potentials release.
1 Samuel 10:5-6. That was a company of prophets with the climate of praise and the prophetic inside Saul came out in that climate. Church Gist. Acts 13:36, that was what happened to David. David after he served his own generation by the will of God, he was the embodiment of gifts, graces, potentials and all that downloaded because he was a worshipper. Church Gist. Ninety-nine percent of the songs that God gave me, I believe, came out in the climate of worship, in the climate of praise – Worshipping in the Spirit. Hallelujah! - Praise is profitable for victory in battle.
🎶 When I don’t know what to do and I look up to You for which way to go. You never fail me 🎶 🎶 You are the God who can never fail, You don’t know what it means to fail, everything on the Earth may fail 🎶. Church Gist. It is profitable for victory in battle. 2 Chronicles 20:22. Praise is profitable for victory in battle. Somebody say a loud Amen! In the Wall of Jericho, the Wall stood before them in the midst of battle. Joshua 6:20.

- Praise is profitable for deliverance from captivity.
(If) there is a chain, a yoke, a bondage on your life. Praise delivers you. Psalm 32:7. Jonah 2:9-10. He (Jonah) was in a prison, a cage; praise brought him out. Church Gist. That was the same story with Paul and Silas. Acts 16:25-26.

- Praise is profitable for the preservation of life.
Psalm 150:6. To live is to praise (God) and to praise (God) is to live. ‘Let everything that hath breath, praise the Lord’. Psalm 119:175. Let my soul live! If only You will let my soul live, it shall praise You. Church Gist. The other way is true – I shall praise You and You will let my soul live. Hallelujah! You won’t allow any devil to cut me short before my time for as long as I am praising You. That was the instrument that King Hezekiah used when his life was to be cut short. So praise is profitable!
Let’s start from the first one:
Praise is profitable for divine presence.
Praise is profitable for divine direction.
Praise is profitable for supernatural supplies.
Praise is profitable for divine favour.
Praise is profitable for additions and multiplication.
Maybe you are single, you want to become double. Maybe you are married, you want to multiply and be fruitful. Church Gist. Praise is profitable for additions and multiplication in life.
Praise is profitable for divine health and strength.
Praise is profitable for potentials release.
Praise is profitable for victory in battle.
Praise is profitable for deliverance in captivity.
Praise is profitable for the preservation of life.
Whatever station you are in life today, praise got you covered. Do you understand? Even if it is fire you are looking for, that potential covers it. Church Gist. It got you! Praise got you covered! Whatever station of life and whatever intervention, direction you are trusting God for, this is my counsel – It is wisdom to follow the path that is profitable and avoid the path that is unprofitable. It is wisdom to follow the path that is profitable. Ecclesiastes 10:10. It is wisdom to follow the path that is profitable and avoid the path that is unprofitable. Which path is unprofitable? 1 Corinthians 10:10. Church Gist. Praise will bring profit, mourning will bring losses. Sorrowfulness will bring losses, sadness will bring losses, depression will bring losses. It is a matter of choice!
-I welcome somebody to the path of praise tonight and I declare, by the Prophetic and Apostolic Mantle of God on my life; that today! Everyone who is dry of divine presence, that presence shall saturate your life today! Church Gist. If you’re saying Amen shout the loudest Amen.
-Everyone trusting God for divine direction, I prophesy direction is being released today!
-Everyone trusting (God) for supernatural supplies, I declare the release of supplies now in the name of Jesus!
-And everyone who is lacking in favour, favour is released. Church Gist. Everyone trusting God to multiply, you are single, you are trusting God for your house to be filled, I declare multiplication is happening right now!
-Everyone who is sick and afflicted, by your praise tonight, sickness and affliction is deleted!
-And everyone who is trusting God for grace to come out of your life, I declare the release of potential! Church Gist. Victory in battle! That is your portion!
-The current battle that is facing you, victory is your portion in that battle!
-Now I decree, every door of any prison that has warehoused your life, that prison door is opened right now! And I can tell you, you will not be cut short before your time. Church Gist. You are saying Amen, jump on your feet with the loudest shout of Amen! The loudmost shout of Amen! Shake the hands of 3 people, tell them “I want to praise God”. Lift your 2 hands everywhere, whatever be the focus of your praise tonight, tell God.
