There is a lot of difference between revelation and encounter. Revelation is spiritual understanding of what God is saying, an encounter is God appearing to you and saying so. 1 Samuel 3:21. Those appearances don’t need any note, they stick. Those appearances don’t need any writing down, they stick to your life. When you hear me talk about dates and times, they are encounters. It was in 1976 that I encountered the mystery of the communion in a church service. Through the lesson not the preaching. Church Gist. You know why people are not having encounters? They are not in the Spirit. “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day and I heard…” Revelation 1:10. You can’t hear without being in the Spirit. Too many luggages, too many things contending for your attention. You can’t hear without being in the Spirit. Some are here in body but they are off in Spirit. They are already scanning the town where they are going after service. They are calculating where traffic will be, how many minutes it will take me to get to Barrigada, Barrigada to Mile 2, Mile 2 to Mile 12. Right here in the service. They are with their iPad but they are not following anything here. They are just checking what they are saying in Afghanistan. They say Amen inappropriately but they are not following anything.
I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day and I heard. Revelation 1:10. Today is another Lord’s Day, may you be in the Spirit to hear. I heard Him say “I am that bread of life.” It was as if he came down. Church Gist. In an Anglican Church! Every Church of Christ, He is present. I heard! Whether the one reading it heard or not, I don’t know but I heard. May you hear today. I was in the Spirit and I heard.

- He will grant each one of us today an encounter of a lifetime.
- This service will be a point of reference in your Christian journey.
Lord speak to us by your Word and appear to us by your Word.
Youths, your week is finally here. Because He indwells the gathering of His people, so it is a platform for encounters. I heard Him say “I am not slow”. God is not slow. I was at a Christian Conference, the first one I attended in my life. In 1976, the Bread of Life showed up. “I am that Bread of Life” (John 6:48-49). You are here at that table again today. It has never ceased to work for me and so it is working for many others by reason of that encounter that came all the way back then, 48 years ago. Church Gist. “Follow me and I will make you” (Matthew 4:19) is the only thing I heard in one conference I went to. I was speaking in that conference but God began to speak to me from the message that was coming from another minister. Your making is in following me. Follow me and I will make you. I have read that over and over but He showed up, “Your making is in following me.” “Come now, I will send you to Pharaoh to bring my people out of bondage.”He did it, He said it and from 1994 it began to manifest. Sons and daughters in the faith, all the youths in the house and around the world make this Youth Alive Convention your convention. Those who may not be able to get there because of their jobs, ensure you sit up at night and scan through. ‘Jesus, appear to me also.’ If you can take off time from your work to be there, take off time officially and get connected. It will be a blessing of a lifetime for you.
Nothing strengthens a believer’s adventure in the faith like encounters with Him in His Word. Jeremiah 20:9. Every encounter with the Word is like fire in the bones. It keeps you rolling like a rollercoaster, it is that kind of encounter you will have in this meeting. Church Gist. Today Jesus speaks to us by His Word, He will speak to you. He will show up directly. It will open a new chapter to your life. We declare AYAC 2024 open for empowerment of our youths that will keep them ruling and reigning all through life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Those who were not there during the Spiritual Week of Emphasis, please connect to the three teachings. Reach out, let the light of God shatter the darkness hovering around your life and your health. We are looking at Healing Wonders In Kingdom Advancement Endeavours. That testifier said “I had nothing for treatment but God and my Kingdom stewardship.” God is all you need to have all your needs met. People have a lot so they can’t trust God any more. He kept serving God and God appeared by prophetic declaration. He went to the hospital and high blood pressure was gone, hypertension was gone, high blood sugar was gone. Free indeed! That God will visit you at midnight today. I will pass through the land and he (Pharaoh) will literally thrust you out. “Hey I can’t hold you again. Go!” again tonight, God will visit many and your captors will have no choice but to let go. Church Gist. You will be turned to coal of fire in their hands. He received the prophetic word and God confirmed it. You have God, you have everything. We held a celebration here in one of the Shilohs, God is all you need to have all your needs met. Fearful God! Awesome God! God is all you need to have all your needs met. “Spendings on hypertension, high blood pressure, diabetes gone. All I had was God. I had no money for treatment.” Trust Him.
There is healing power in Kingdom Stewardship. It is not twisting scriptures. We serve a covenant keeping God. Thou shall serve, I covenant to bless your bread and your water. Thou shall serve, I covenant to remove sickness from your body. Thou shall serve, I covenant that you shall not be barren nor cast your young in the land as you commit to serving me. Thou shall serve and the number of your days I will fulfill, I covenant. Exodus 23:25-26. 🎵 Covenant Keeping God, there is no one like you. Alpha and Omega, there is no one like you. 🎵 How does this come about? John 15:2. We have supernatural fitness in return for our fruit bearing stewardship. Result pruned stewardship! God covenants to prune us so we can keep bearing more fruits because the labourers are few. Any genuine fruitful labourer that He can find, He said “I am committed by covenant to keep them fit.” (John 15:1-2). John 15:16. Church Gist. Fruit bearing is bringing souls into the Kingdom. Can we prove that further? 2 Corinthians 5:17-20. Every faithful ambassador is entitled to healthy living (Proverbs 13:17). When you enlist as an ambassador for Christ, reconciling the Word back to God. You are entitled to healthy living. Those folks were under the heaviest schedule in the world (the twelve disciples). Mark 3:14. Not one fell ill. There was no let’s go and they said “Philip is a bit down. They were all up.” In the name of Jesus Christ, as you commit to serving God I see every sickness and disease humiliated in your life. What a good God we serve. We have a covenant right to live a sickness free life. Yes, it may be contested but confront it. Christ was tempted at all points just like we are but He won at all points. It is not unspiritual to be challenged, it is anti covenant to be defeated.
A family here had their child in the hospital and doctors said they couldn’t do anything any more and they were on DOMI radio that morning at Covenant Hour Of Prayer and I said “Go out today and God will take over.” Husband and wife left the child and went out. By the time they came back, the child was sitting down asking them what is happening, what are they doing in the hospital. They were discharged the same day. When doctors could not do anything again. Doing nothing is a risk. You lose so much ground to the devil. God is not a covenant breaker, our God is a covenant keeper. Someone here had mouth cancer and returned from America because they could not do anything anymore. He went out here ministering with mouth cancer. “Jesus loves you.” Church Gist. Jesus saw he was not ashamed and appeared to him in the night and took the lump from his mouth. These are not made up. Can I tell you this? Those who mock the acts of God end up as mockeries. I didn’t pray over her, Jesus showed up. I never knew she had that problem. She never gained access to me but Jesus saw her. He always rewards His faithful stewards openly. They did it secretly, He rewards them openly.
There is healing power in Kingdom Advancement Stewardship. Healing force is in it. I sat down here one day at Shiloh and my voice could not be heard without putting your ears close to my mouth. So I called my son “Bishop Abioye) and said “I will still go there. I will be saying it to you and you will be saying it to them. So get ready.” I was writing what I was saying to him. I climbed up “Praise the Lord” and I got my voice back. All I would have said is that I can’t go. What will it look like? I am saying it to you and you are saying it to them, have I become dumb? No matter what they say I am going there. Church Gist. No matter what they will think, I am going there. We were in Yola and I got attacked in the hotel, my breathing was suspended. I was literally gasping. I said inside me, “I am going there. I came here to be in that meeting and I will be there.” My son said to me, “Please relax” for what? I am going there. When I go there, I will be doing signs if I can’t do anything. By 5:30pm, the breath came down. Not a joke, this is not fabricated. I have told this story several times. If you check all the stories I have ever told you everywhere you will find it the same way. You can’t commit to God and not see Him commit to you. All this serving God as you please is why you are in trouble, that is why things are not working. Serving God in season and out of season.
A family here got into a new year with ₦100, they were living in an uncompleted building because they couldn’t pay rent. She came from Europe with her children. Can you imagine that life? Schooling? For where. Where is the toilet? Anywhere. She kept praying Kingdom advancement prayer night and day and God showed up. A furnished apartment for free and a car to match, all like a dream of the night. God will change your story. “Come and prove me, you have been hearing others prove me. You have been entertained by their testimonies. Come and prove me, your testimony is waiting.” Having fasted a long range one time, my body was succumbing. It had lost defence. When I opened my mouth and coughed, it was blood. My wife said I need to go home. I said no, if this is the last one I preach, I will gallop to heaven as a gallant soldier. I am on my feet today. I wasn’t taken to any hospital. What am I saying? Everything holding you down when you run after God, they will get off your back. Can you imagine a raving dog or a wolf running after a lion? God with you scares your enemies and when you are on the go for Him, He said “Lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age.” Church Gist. (Matthew 28:20). Serving God secures God’s presence that wards off all your attackers. God is not with you just because you are a believer, He is with you because you are on the go for Him. He sent them two by two to every place where He Himself will come. Luke 10:1. Serving God at any level secures for you a clean health bill, strength and vitality. Receive that in the name of Jesus. It is a great thing to serve the Lord. It is a great thing to serve the Lord walking in the light of God. Oh walk, walk walk, walking in the light. Walking in the light of God.
We also understand that God’s love is not theoretical. 1 John 5:3. John 14:21. His last commandment is to go to all the world and preach the gospel. Mark 16:15. John 21:15-17. It is the capital proof of our love for God. Pursuit after souls is the capital proof of our love for God. Genuine pursuit after souls, forget about all the ceremonies that people are doing. The most authentic proof is genuine pursuit, not make them see me pursuit. Church Gist. Not running up and down for people to see you around. Romans 8:28. It secures all things working. Family working, business working, career working, children working, brain working, all things working. Not all preachers are serving His purpose, not all founders are serving His purpose. You may find some around the world who have never led one person to Christ. “I am founder of a ministry” Una well done.
Soul winning is not a calling, it is a covenant responsibility. Are you a new creature? You are redeemed an ambassador for Christ on a mission to reconcile the world back to God. Someone in this church said I gave him the first tract in 1969, the same year I got saved. I wasn’t called to ministry then. I saw a church planted by passion for God without any idea of a ministry. Ministry was far from my thinking. That is the high calling of every believer that paves the way to our high places. Soul winning is every believer’s high calling that secures his place in his high places. Church Gist. Can’t you hear what they said? They that turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever (Daniel 12:3). Not those that come to church and wear coat with bow tie. They that turn many to righteousness, not they that preach powerful messages or write books. You know books are all over the place. They that turn many to righteousness. Your star is about rising. Receive grace for tireless commitment to soul winning as a covenant responsibility. May the blessings that accrue to soul winners be made openly manifest in your life.
“You know Papa doesn’t know what I am going through” The Word doesn’t care what you are going through, whether you have headache or backache, if you don’t follow the manual of a machine, it won’t answer. “This system answer now, my hand is one kind.” When your hand stops being one kind, come and press. I can’t answer you. No excuse flies with God. Stop cheating yourself with excuses. “I know you are an austere man, you love to reap where you did not sow.” “Well done! Help me take him to utter darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. You will know if I am an austere man or an Austin. Throw him there my friend. Who are you complaining to.” Church Gist. No excuse flies with God, complaining complicates believers’ matters. Murmuring messes up your case, whatever He tells you to do, do it, your condition notwithstanding. Someone had elephantiasis and had another boil, can’t you see the devil? but he went out. You don’t have anything, your legs are straight, your hands are straight. You don’t just feel like. Somebody is going on his way and telling people “Jesus loves you.” They say shut up. It is part of the deal. In the name of Jesus, grace to prove your genuine love for God by your pursuit after souls, receive it now.
Today we are about the communion table, the light that I encountered 48 years ago that is still shining around the world today will turn things loose in your family. A time will come before Jesus returns where the Church will have the answer to all sickness and diseases. We wrote a book here during COVID-19, Jesus Heals All Manner Of Sickness And Disease Today including Corona Virus. Church Gist. We saw that plague humiliated by engaging the force of the Spirit. We got testimonies across the continents. Look for that book and buy it. You can get it online. These forces of the Spirit humiliated and tormented the devil. We broke all protocols without apology and Jesus honoured His Word. When they saw the crowd at Shiloh, everybody across the nation turned loose. The Church was the target of the devil and Jesus came in and engraced the Church to play the front line row and we brought down his kingdom. In the same vein, every installation of hell against your health shall come down crashing today.
The Lord said to me, “It is time to administer the forces of the Spirit that will enable the saints to take up their inheritance in Christ. It is time for a change”. Here is one of those forces of the Spirit ordained to cast down the installations of sickness and diseases in your life. So shall it be. Among the provisions for our health in redemption is the Holy Communion. Watch and follow quickly. Church Gist. The manna and the water from the rock in the wilderness which secured the health of God’s people for 40 years is likened to the flesh and blood of Jesus that you partake of in the communion. How dare you say so? Jesus said so. John 6:49-50. They ate the manna from heaven, they drank the water from the rocks. The result was total health, strength and vitality. Their feet were not swollen, there was not one feeble person among their tribes including old men and old women. Deuteronomy 8:4. A total health package for 40 years running. Another prophetic word for you, the next 40 years if Jesus tarries, you are advancing in health.
John 6:48-54.
- Anything dying or dead in you, bounces back to life.
Whosoever eats the flesh and drinks the blood has eternal life. He has moved off the human life realm, has eternal life now not later. He has Zoe in him, it has replaced the human life in him. You know the life of the flesh is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11). This is His blood which carries His order of life that is immune to sickness, disease, satanic oppressions, name it. You take the blood, you take His life. You take the blood, you take His strength. Manna is also said to be angel’s bread and as we saw in the case of Elijah, it transmits supernatural strength. Psalm 78:24-25. 1 Kings 19:5-8. Supernatural strength! Every trace of weakness and feebleness clears the way. There is much more in the communion than what obtained in the manna provided for them in the wilderness. Jesus said so. John 6:53-54, 58. There is much more in the communion. So if they lived for 40 years in the wilderness on the inferior manna, how much more will this superior manna offer those who believe. Church Gist. 1 Corinthians 11:23-24, 30. Those who take the communion unworthily with disdain “there is nothing in it”, they suffer the losses of what it offers. Some of them are weak and sickly and some die. Meaning taking it worthily, taking it with a sense of integrity of the Word is our redemptive toast for strength, health and vitality. The fall asleep there is not that you went on siesta. It is death. Can people be in Church and despise the communion? Plenty. A woman here said she always dodged the communion. Her son was dying and her neighbour asked “Do you serve your son communion?” She said even me I dodge it. Thank God for that deaconess who came on the line. “Serve this boy Communion” and that was what blasted the blindness off her eyes. Despising the Word is always at a cost. She may have lost that child. This is not a church doctrine, it is God’s Word that is settled in heaven forever.
Whatever is not of faith is sin (Romans 14:23). Come through by faith because the wages of sin is death. The returns of unbelief is loss. The communion empowers believers to live like Christ. That is a life immune to sickness, diseases and all oppression of the devil. John 6:57. Remember He said whosoever has seen me, has seen the Father. The communion empowers us to live like Him. Church Gist. Everything unlike Jesus in anyone’s life shall be flushed out today. This is God’s ultimate offer for man’s health and vitality. John 6:55. Ultimate bread, ultimate drink. No medicine on the earth compares in value with this. It restores strength to weak bodies. It restores health to lives under the siege of sickness and disease, it terminates the horror of untimely death. There is no such drug on earth.
This is a testimony from Oliver Udeh:
“In November 2012, I was afflicted with full blown stroke. I could neither move my hands nor legs. Then God connected with me someone that advised me to come and receive my healing in this Church. Church Gist. Since then I obeyed every instruction from the altar and believed God for my healing. During the communion service of January 4th 2015, I partook of the communion and believed God for his intervention and God stepped in and my healing process began. Today I am totally delivered.” Full blown stroke healed!
Another one:
“I was afflicted with stroke for 4 years. My condition became worse with time. Every time we visited the hospital we spent not less than ₦200,000 – ₦500,000 on drugs. It was so bad that I sold all my cars, my children stopped schooling since 2013. Church Gist. However in June while running an errand, one of my children met a Brother who gave her fliers to come to Canaanland. I came for the service with my family and was helped to the bus. Subsequently to the Church lo and behold, the affliction of four years ended within three days and I could walk again.”
Now, when he got home he wanted to take his drugs and the wife said ‘no, take communion. Keep taking it.” The third day came and he was up on his feet. Hand could move, leg could move, everything could move.” God’s healing comes in two ways, it comes instantly and it comes through a recovery process. You lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. You set the pace of recovery in motion. They shall recover. John 4:49-53. Church Gist. The process was set in motion as the Word went forth. Friends, no I am not healed. You said so that is why you are not. The process is on. Jesus said. “Go thy way and show yourself to the priests”. The process began there, their fingers were still curled together but they were going. They were going to the priest, the process was on. As they went, they were cleansed. Yes, he heals instantly but he heals through a process of recovery. I will restore health unto you (Jeremiah 30:17), that’s a process. It is done. Everyone who believes, the process is set in motion for your full restoration.
