15th August 2017: The Presentation of the book “Pastor E.A. Adeboye: His Life and Calling” is held. The 40 Chapter book which was put together by several authors in honour of Pastor E.A. Adeboye, detailed his challenges and achievements through the years.

15th August 1956: John Esuga Akpami is born. He is the Founder of Global Revival Gospel Ministries Incorporated (Christian Training Center) Zaria, Kaduna State Nigeria.

15th August: Tom Amenkhienan is born. He is a Member of the Central Executive Council of LoveWorld Nation and a Pastor at Christ Embassy Abuja Ministry Center.

15th August 1988: Yoido commences the 88th World Evangelism Crusade (Soulympics) at Yoido Plaza Seoul, South Korea with three million people in attendance. The Crusade was led by the Founder of the Church, Pastor David Yonggi Cho.

15th August 2022: Most Reverend Ekpenyong Nyong Akpanika is elected as the 9th Prelate of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria (PCN). He is the current Prelate of the Church.

15th August 1989: Various Assemblies of God National Fellowships unite to form the World Pentecostal Assemblies of God Fellowship. This was initiated by Reverend Dr. J. Philip Hogan, the then Executive Director of the Division of Foreign Missions of the Assemblies of God in the United States of America.
