- None shall be a victim of financial struggles!
Deuteronomy 29:29. I pray for access to the secret behind empowerment for wealth for everyone of us tonight! Psalm 25:14…not for Jack and Harry, not for those who want to claim to be smarter than God. Psalm 25:9. God has no place for the proud. Church Gist. He teaches and guides the meek who believes that He knows the end from the beginning, He knows the best way to go in life, He knows how to get across to what He has provided. They willingly surrender to His guidance (His instructions), then He opens up to them. Psalm 25:12.
That’s why our readiness to learn is key to accessing divine secrets. The good news here is this, God’s prosperity agenda applies to all His children, there are no exemptions. Deuteronomy 8:18 (the anchor Scripture). Church Gist. The same old covenant with ever current impact…That was speaking to the whole children of Israel – implying that this agenda is for all of you. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. His prophetic agenda is for all including you.
- So the siege of poverty in anyone’s lineage is broken tonight!
The same way Jesus became sin for us so we can be made God’s righteousness, He became poor so we can be made rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9. No one is born rich, we are made rich. When we engage in what makes rich, so we are made rich. He said, He will make your way prosperous and you will have good success by applying yourself to what this Book (the Bible) says. Joshua 1:8. Church Gist. This Book has what it takes for anyone to make his way and our ways prosperous and have good success.
We also recognize in Revelation 5:12 that riches is number two of the listed 7 fold redemptive package obtained for us by Christ. They are the 7 fold redemptive package Jesus came back with as He rose from the dead. Church Gist. So it’s not our ambition, it’s our birthright. All we need is to discover the way to walk in it.
Just like being empowered by the Holy Spirit is not our ambition, it’s our birthright upon genuine repentance and conversion. Church Gist. It’s our birthright to be empowered by the Holy Spirit. So upon doing what it takes to be empowered for wealth, it’s our birthright to operate and walk in wealth.
- I therefore curse the siege of poverty which operates principally on spiritual ignorance!
Hosea 4:6, Isaiah 5:13. Church Gist. The devil plays on our spiritual ignorance to torment and afflict us.
- But tonight I decree every blinding siege of the wicked to get off your mind, get off your heart and grant you clean understanding tonight!
Romans 10:12…He is rich unto all – the saved. “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” He’s rich unto all. There is no respecter of person with God. Church Gist. So you are in that picture your background notwithstanding. 3 John 2-4. So there is the truth about being prosperous and in health. Walking in that truth is what makes a believer to prosper and live in health.
Every statement of Scriptures is from the mouth of God. Isaiah 34:16, 3 John 2. So God is interested in our practical prosperity as much as spiritual prosperity. Spiritual maturity or growth does not disqualify you from material wealth. Church Gist. Abraham was the Friend of God, he was blessed in all things; he had an army to himself. “Abraham, my friend” – that word never changed. Isaiah 41:8, James 2:23.
But just like we have to exercise ourselves in the Word to live a godly life, we must exercise ourselves in the covenant of abundance to be empowered for wealth. 1 Timothy 4:8. Church Gist. So godly exercise qualifies us to make the most of the life that now is and the one which is to come. Isaiah 59:8. So we are here to access the way to God’s prosperity agenda for His children.

We have to exercise ourselves. Joshua 1:8. We cannot wait therefore to become prosperous, we must come awake to make our way prosperous. Stop waiting! Start engaging what He says and then you are on your way to make your way prosperous. Church Gist. We cannot wait to become prosperous, we must come awake to make our way prosperous.
From Deuteronomy 8:18, we discovered that there is a covenant anchor that brings the believer into God’s prosperity plan. It is His covenant, it has no place for our own ideas. It’s not a Church covenant, it’s His covenant. Church Gist. It’s not an apostolic covenant, it’s His covenant.
What Is A Covenant?
Biblical covenants are God’s sworn verdicts on various aspects of life including financial prosperity as contained in His Word. Isaiah 14:24. Whatever you find in this Book, is a sworn verdict. Hebrews 6:12-15…that’s where your problem is. Your generation is a hurried generation. You are ever in a hurry and hurry most of the time leads to horror. After God had sworn, Abraham needed patience to realize the fullness of that verdict and he did. Hebrews 6:18.
So a covenant can be defined as a spiritual platform where we commit God by our obedience of faith to make good His promise on any subject of interest. We commit God’s integrity by our obedience of faith to bring His Word to pass in our lives.
So a covenant is a deal enacted by God based on well defined terms and sealed with an oath. Psalm 89:34. God’s covenant is eternally binding on all issues as His covenant of the day and of the night. On all issues! Jeremiah 33:20-21…that means with the redeemed. Revelation 5:10. That means “My covenant is eternally binding between me and the redeemed as the day and the night.” Genesis 8:22. Every covenant of Scriptures is built on that promise. “As long as the Earth is in existence, my covenant remains in force.” It’s on the Earth, it’s not in the West, not in the East, not in America, not in Europe. This covenant works in every part of the World. “For He’s made of one blood, all nations upon the Earth.” This covenant does not favour one race against another. Romans 12:10. You can’t afford to wander around the World.
God has built a citadel of prosperity in this Commission by grace. We have never sort for till date after 43 years, what may come from the East or from the West and we are not in need. (Speaks in tongues) We are not begging, we have never borrowed. What are you looking for? The covenant works wherever the sun shines. The covenant works wherever they plant and they reap on their field. There is no disadvantaged race or advantaged race – same God! Same God over all to whosoever that calls upon Him.
Today, your Church is building the biggest Church facility known in the World without any foreign aid, without consulting with any bank. He told me, “get back home my son and make my power rich.” He showed me the pathway to wealth 1982, He gave me the mandate to enrich people, 1987.
The covenant is universal in impact. Its effect is across races and colours. It delivers (the) same rate in every nation of the Earth. Same rate! I have never wished for once that I will be somewhere else than where God wants me to be. Someday it was flagged up, the richest Pastor in the World. How? Can the richest come from the village? Church Gist. God is no respecter of persons. Wake up! If you are not in the covenant, wherever you run into, you will have more and more complications. There is no other alternative to sustainable empowerment for wealth than understanding the secret of the covenant of abundance.
- I therefore curse the siege of financial trauma in everyone’s life!
So, a covenant is an agreement as it were between God and man where God is committed to make good His promise when man’s obedience is fully in place. His covenant is waiting, we are to enter into that covenant like Judah did. Church Gist “They entered into a covenant with God with all their heart and with the whole of their desire.” So the covenant is available, we now enter into that covenant. We cut that covenant with Him and until we do, we are not in command.
The covenant of abundance anchors on the law of giving. The Earth was barren and God came down and said to Noah in response to his sacrifice…Genesis 8:20. Now watch again. They were only in pairs in the Ark. You remove one, you have finished that lineage yet, Noah did. That’s what made it sacrifice. They were in pairs and he took off all every clean, to end their generations – that’s for me, a generational sacrifice. Church Gist. And God came down and said, “while the Earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest.” How will they multiply? Ask God! Because the male is taken, the female is taken from there, the male is taken from here, how will they multiply? That sacrifice averted the curse of God on the Earth.
So this covenant does not only bless you, it averts curses over your life and around your life. The first effect of this covenant “I will no longer curse the Earth anymore for man’s sake.”
- Every life under any form of curse, generational, hereditary, under the sound of my voice, as you connect with this truth on this anchor law of giving as a lifestyle, that curse is broken!
Job 22:21-23…it’s not computer scams, hunting after men to collect money, bowing down to idols to look for money, not all these make rich quick demonic traps. Job 22:24. Church Gist. Abraham said, “I won’t take that bribe else lest you say, you made Abraham rich.” Those are the precautions that launch men into this realm of financial fortune. You don’t mix things together.
By His grace, I have never given bribe to any devil in my life and I have never received from anyone and I will not receive till I go to Heaven. Job 22:23-24. So there is the law that launches men into realms of laying up gold as dust. Church Gist. Job 22:25. That’s what He says. It is that law that people despise and you can’t get anywhere without engaging that law.
As we all know, everything living gives to stay alive. The plant gives out its oxygen, the animals consume it and give back to the atmosphere (carbon dioxide) for the plant to make its food. The day man stops giving out his carbon dioxide, he’s gone. The day the plant stops giving its oxygen, it’s gone. The day you stop giving, life starts going down. Church Gist. It’s not giving like a bank, it’s giving becoming one’s lifestyle just like breathing. How long can you hold your breath and stay alive? How long? People are choking. They are choking. They have held back their breath, they are choking.
That rich fool choked to death – “I have nothing more to do. I have laid up enough to eat and drink. I don’t care whatsoever is dying.” God said, you have choked, come over. Church Gist. Some gave their way to abundance and stopped giving their way back to poverty. As they stopped giving, they went back to poverty (back to square one).
- Now, I release the giving grace on your life!
We must recognize that our giving is not a financial donation to help God or help the poor but a spiritual transaction that releases heavenly order of blessings on our lives. Proverbs 28:27. Church Gist. So we are not helping the poor, we are opening up our destinies to further blessings. Giving to the needy opens our lives up to a higher realm of blessings.
When you give your tithe which is a core aspect of the law of giving, He opens the windows of Heaven not over the Church, over your life. Malachi 3:10…that’s the difference between banking and giving. Banking can’t rebuke devourers. You can bank and it goes down one day. One calamity drops, and it’s gone. Church Gist. But tithing guarantees security of the blessing. It’s a covenant insurance against the assault of the devourer. That’s why the enemy will stop anybody from entering into that covenant. He will want to stop you because you are going to stop his mission in your life – to steal, to kill and to destroy. By taking a cover in the covenant. Thank you Jesus!
Spiritual Transaction – Noah reared an altar of sacrifice, God heard in Heaven. God smelled a good savour and said, what’s happening there? And then he averted the curse on the Earth. David reared an altar of sacrifice and God spoke from Heaven “enough, stay now your hand.” He stopped the devourer because His blessings maketh rich and add no sorrows. You give, He blesses and then removes curses around you. Solomon offered a sacrifice unto God and God appeared to him in the night – “Solomon, Heaven is full with the smoke of your sacrifice, what are you looking for?” Answered in Heaven! Church Gist. Hebrews 7:8. Ushers May take the offering from you in your Church but Heaven reckons with it. A department of Christ office in Heaven, there He (Jesus) receives them and He has the key of David. He opens and no man shuts. So when your tithe is received, He opens the windows.
- (It’s a) Brand new day!
I asked the Lord, “Lord, show me the secret of Kingdom prosperity” not casual question not going about town talking chaff. Jesus, show me the secret of Kingdom prosperity, I had 3 days out. With 2 books in my hand, Kenneth Copeland’s book on the ‘Law of prosperity’, Gloria’s book on God’s Will is prosperity. And I sat with my Bible and these two books praying and searching. On the third day, Heaven broke loose. Church Gist. God walked in there and said, “my son, David, my prosperity plan is not a promise. It does not answer to prayer.” You can’t be a prayer warrior into abundance. No. You can’t be a fasting machine into abundance. “My prosperity plan is not a promise, so it does not answer to prayer.” He said, it is not a promise, it has no respect for fasting.
You can’t fast your way into prosperity. Lie! Lie! You can’t because my life will covenant will I not break. Prayer is not part of that covenant. Fasting is not part of that. “He said, my prosperity plan is a covenant until your part is played, I am not committed.” Activity is not a substitute. Preaching is not a substitute. Church Gist. There are people who are preaching prosperity who are living in poverty. They preach it so well, people get into wealth through their preaching but they are in poverty. It’s not in the preaching.
Just like a professor of Agric, if you don’t have a field, you will suffer hunger. You are a professor of Agric, growth and expansion, you are a professor emeritus in Agric but you don’t have a farm, you have to look for money to go and buy. Any price they call it, you have to buy it. You can’t eat your knowledge. Church Gist. That you know it does not mean anything, are you doing it? God’s Word is likened to a spiritual seed. You don’t sow it, it never turns to harvest. Like 8:11. Any Word you don’t engage with, will deliver nothing.
That you found a ministry does not equal prosperity. No! Many founders are in poverty. That you have a company, you have a big profession, does not equal prosperity. That’s not part of the covenant. The covenant covers whatever he doeth shall prosper. He is a barber, he shall prosper. He is a carpenter, he shall prosper. Church Gist. Whatever he doeth. That’s why that my barber son was talking, going to Law School from barbing. He went through university and had his first degree and going to Law School from barbing. “Whatsoever he doeth, he shall prosper.”
Preachers were people to be pitied during our own time. You are called to ministry, they pity you that this man, he has joined the suffer head. It’s only a few that want to do ministry. No Pastor – car? Drive a car? How did you get it? No Church buildings had parking lots. Who will park? They had to contribute money to buy a bicycle for the pastor. “Whatsoever he doeth, he shall prosper.” Church Gist. At a time in this World, the wealthiest man was in furniture business, not in I.T, not in energy and oil. “And whatsoever he doeth, he shall prosper.” David Green is in US today dealing in artifacts (crafts) – Jesus loves you plaque and all that stuff. Business expanded and growing. “Whatsoever he doeth, he shall prosper.” So your profession is not a guarantee for prosperity. It’s the blessing of God not a man’s profession that makes rich and adds no sorrow.
- Somebody’s story is changing!
We had someone that graduated from Covenant (University) by selling bread. He trained himself at Covenant University – bread business. One of our members here graduated from Unilag (University of Lagos) first and second degree selling bread in Molue. Church Gist. Don’t sit down waiting for nothing. Whatsoever he doeth…so people doing nothing don’t get nothing. What God does is to bless the works of our hands. What are you doing? You find a whole graduate degenerating at home – “mummy, I’m hungry,” ‘crying baby.’ (Laughing) So there is no high or low profession. Whatsoever he doeth walking in the covenant, he shall prosper.
One of our men approached me sometime and he said, “Sir, I would like you to bless this car.” He is a barber. Range Rover from barbing. Whatsoever he doeth, he shall prosper. It’s your turn! So empowerment to give is the mystery behind empowerment for wealth – straight line equation. 2 Corinthians 8:1-3…what a paradox? They gave their way out of poverty. He said, you need this grace so as you abound in love, in knowledge and in faith, see that you are bound in this grace also – they are not substitutes. Church Gist. Faith is not a substitute. Love is not a substitute. There is no substitute to the giving grace if you must prosper. Nothing is a substitute to the giving grace if you must prosper and sustain the blessing in your life. Nothing! 2 Corinthians 9:6-8. The giving grace will lead to the grace of abundance.
You can’t understand this early and regret in life. You can’t. When I found it, I screamed “yeah, I can never be poor.” I committed myself to my part of that deal, it hasn’t reduced for once. I know where I found it, I know where it has brought me. I have never needed encouragement in my giving life once. No one in the World can define my worth – He supplies my needs according to His riches in glory. How? Once and again commitment. Church Gist. Philippians 4:15-19. Giving as a lifestyle opens you up to that supply channel “according to His riches in glory”, not the better the economy on the Earth – according to His riches in glory. So sowing and reaping is defined as giving and receiving. So it’s not Philippians 4:19, it’s Philippians 4:15-19. Philippians 4:19 is fraud. 4:19 is clean fraud.
I have never been to any Church in my life that I wished they gave me something. No! Giving naturally attracts receiving. Church Gist. You sow your seed on a good ground, you sleep and wake, the seed will grow, you don’t know how. But it will grow and bring forth fruits.
- It’s your turn!
- I pray that God’s Word tonight will find an inroad to your life!
But giving requires empowerment to be sustained and wealth cannot be sustained without giving as a lifestyle. 2 Corinthians 8:7. There is a grace that keeps you on the giving pathway of life that it becomes your lifestyle. Church Gist. Giving in season and out of season. There is the grace that helps our giving life to be consistent in season and out of season. It takes that grace to keep giving and doing it with joy.
Know that prosperity is only sustainable by liberality. Proverbs 11:24-25. So we must have to keep asking for the grace to remain on the giving path of life so we can maintain His blessings on our lives. Church Gist. This is our source of help. One cannot be in love with God and not be a giver. God’s love is a giving love. John 3:16, 1 John 3:15-18.
Every true lover of God is a natural giver. Not every giver is in love. People give for certain reasons. Bribery is not the proof of love. You want to get something from him, it’s not that you love him. “Oga, get this thing for your birthday.” Church Gist. He said, “birthday has passed.” He says, “yes, I know. Just get it.” Because you will go to his office tomorrow. But you can’t be in love and not be a giver.
Can I tell you this? We need this in our Church. Faith, utterance, diligence, love – He said, “see that you are bound in this grace.” All these are not substitutes. They are not substitutes. “🎼🎶🎵I love you” – we have Covenant Care platform in the Church, does it concern you? No, no, no! At my level, what can I do? Church Gist. You have to do something to change that level. You didn’t have any clothes you can spare? You don’t have 1,000 in your life and you are drinking coke and fanta everyday. Because your heart is not in it.
Where we have Landmark University today, can I tell you how it came? I noted people dying while they carried them to a hospital nearby. And I said, “Lord, if you ever bless me, I want to put a hospital here to stop people from dying who should live.” I had no bank account when I said that. I had no bank account anywhere in the World when I said that. Church Gist. Now, that’s where Landmark University is sitting today and the hospital is in that place where I said, “if I ever get blessed, I want to build a hospital here.” It’s first in your heart before it comes to your hand. You don’t have it in your heart, it won’t come to your hand.
Those who think good towards others don’t lack good from God. I said to God one time, “Lord, if I have a Peugeot car, I would like to give this man who is going to this place for ministry.” The following day, a car came – Peugeot exactly. I never touched the key, I never knew the number. I said, “hey, that’s for that man.” It’s first in your heart before it reaches your hand. Church Gist. But now that there is nothing in your heart, what are you expecting? Let something move you when you see somebody going through stress. Let something move you.
You see a Kingdom project going on, get excited. I said to God, “if you ever bless me, I want to be part of building you Churches.” I wasn’t called to ministry when I said that. “I want to be part of building you Churches.” Now by grace, He has helped us. I remember a year when we built a 100 Churches, not the Church, our family. Church Gist. It’s first in your heart before it flows through your hand. “I will bless you and thou shall be a blessing.” Are you prepared to be a blessing? That will define the limits of His blessing in your life.
- Somebody is here, your life has taken a new turn!
- Your life has taken a new turn in the name of Jesus!
As we round up tonight, the covenant of seedtime and harvest is the launching pad to a world of financial fortune for every child of God. And that’s where you are headed! Church Gist. Quickly let’s look at some of the fringe benefits that are in this covenant of abundance. It’s far beyond material returns.
- It averts curses. Numbers 23:8. You become uncursable under the covenant of abundance. Church Gist. It was by that altar of sacrifice that God averted the curse on the Earth. Genesis 8:20-22.
- It secures divine protection. Psalm 20:1-3. Church Gist. That goes to be a memorial before the Lord and secures protection for us on the Earth.
- You will never be defenseless again in your life!
- It engenders divine health. Psalm 41:1-3…meaning get up and go to work my friend. So it engenders divine health. Church Gist. Putting smiles on the face of others delivers you and me from sorrow. Money can’t buy that Sir. Money can’t rescue from death.
- It secures exemption for us in times of trouble. Malachi 3:10,17. Exemption! Malachi 4:1-2. So the covenant makes a difference in a believer’s life in times of trouble. Church Gist. And you know this year, God has vowed to bring us into our realm of fortune (flourishing in hard times) – that’s what leads to it. “I will distinguish them in the time of horror.” What a good God we serve?
- The good news is, it’s a brand new day for us!
We are in the enthronement era of the Church and a poor man has no voice. So God has come down to enrich His Church to give us our place in this endtime. It’s God’s agenda for His Church to reign. Proverbs 22:7. Church Gist. So God has vowed to enrich His Church and His Church is not a building, it’s His people.
- May you not miss your portion!
Let’s close at this point. Just like in farming, there is a covenant gestation period for our seed sown.
- There are returns after many days. Ecclesiastes 11:1-2.
- There are annual returns. Luke 13:6-9. So there is an annual return on our seed sown.
- There is a 4 yearly return. Leviticus 19:23-25. Church Gist. There is a 4 yearly return on our seed sown.
- At the end of every 7 years. Deuteronomy 15:1. A consistent covenant walk for 7 years brings a believer into that realm of the Lord’s release. It’s the realm of fortune. That’s why the fight is terrible. Some people hardly can make it one year before they give up. So they stay back there. Church Gist. We have a cocoa plantation, it takes 4 years to start fruiting but when it starts fruiting, 15 years, we are still harvesting. Chinese bamboo,….. but in the fourth year, it shoots to 92 high. People can’t wait, they are in a hurry. You can’t put your grain of maize in the ground today and carry basket tomorrow. Go and harvest it tomorrow. That will be foolhardy. You will gather together, rotten seeds. It can’t be eaten, can’t grow.
Can I tell you this by revelation? You can’t maintain a 7 year consistent covenant walk with God and not come into the realm of the Lord’s release. Church Gist. Amen! That is, the end of slavery, the end of servitude, the end of struggles.
- Now, receive grace!
I entered into this in 1982. This is 2024. That’s quite some days. Consistently so by grace, adjustably so by grace. I knew I needed an accountant to ensure the sanctity of my tithing. Church Gist. No assumption. I have had my private accountant for years. Whatever grace made that happen can keep you on.
- The next 7 years, may you not be found a covenant breaker!
The good news is this, God does not need your tithe, He doesn’t need it. Don’t brag. “Of His fullness, we have all received.” John 1:16. God does not need me for anything, I need Him for everything. His name is the ‘I AM THAT I AM’ whether I’m born again or lost, He is I AM. Whether I serve Him or abuse Him, He is the I AM. Whether I come to Church or I go to shine, He is the I AM. Whatever you do, He is the same. Church Gist. Whatever I do, He’s the same. So there is nothing to brag about. “Can you pay this kind of tithe?” First sit down and ask yourself, if I am blessed to a point where I need to pay a tithe of 50 million, will I be willing to? If you are not willing to, you are not there. You won’t get there. God will not give you what will kill you. What you don’t use to serve God, you will serve it.
Long before we got into Church ministry, I have been doing it. So I am not doing it because we are in a Church. We have been giving scholarships in my family since 1992. Live! Just not to wait and see people suffer. I have 2 professors in this University today that benefited from that scholarship at one point or another in their lives. Church Gist. We had no university in place, no vision of university in place. It’s all about you. How strongly you take a position in the covenant will determine what future awaits you!

All you need is patience for the journey. At the end, it will always speak. As I conclude, as in the journey of life, a ride is in phases. Upon being able to sit up, a baby rides on a walker. The mother is busy; puts him on the walker because he can’t run away from there. Amen! A toddler on a tricycle not a motorbike. An adolescent, a bicycle, not a car. Church Gist. You don’t give a car key to a 10 year old. His leg cannot touch the ground, his eyes can’t see the front. This is how God’s blessing system works. It works little by little. Don’t jump the queue. Don’t jump into fire. Little by little. Exodus 23:30. As you grow, I will expand you. But by little and little, I will do it. People in a hurry. By little and little, I will do it.
1987, we were under a Grass Cathedral in Kaduna – an amazing place. The floor not paved. Church Gist. Grass by the side, grass on top. It can only stop the sun, it can’t stop rain. My God! In the City! Little by little. But at the end, it will always speak because God never lies.
A son qualifies to ride a car. A trained son in flying can fly an aircraft, not a trained child. Again, it’s a clear illustration of the little by little system of blessings. It’s not lottery. Church Gist. The covenant is a walk with God. He said, Abraham, come and walk with me in the covenant. It’s not a game. It’s not a pess button stuff. Come and walk with me in the covenant. It’s a walk.
- May you receive grace for that walk!
- May you embrace the little by little system of blessings in the name of Jesus!
But from one step to another, the longest journey is made. Church Gist. Little by little by little by little. You are getting there!
Deuteronomy 7:22. Little by little by little you are getting there! When the Lord showed me the secret or the mystery of corporate tithing, our Church was less than one million naira in a year. But that’s not where we are now. No! That’s not where we are. Church Gist. No matter the conversion on this Earth, this is a wealthy Church. No matter the conversion on the Earth, this is a super wealthy Church. And that’s the family to which you belong.
- So no matter the hardship in the economy, God will exempt you by your consistent covenant walk!
It’s a walk.

Now, please listen. The most interesting part of this covenant is that you can start from where you are. God never puts pressure on nobody. Church Gist. He said to Abraham, “from the place where you are, come-on now, take a walk. Embark on the walk. Walk through the length and the breadth, I will give it to you. Start from where you are. That’s where to start.
Don’t get back from this Conference doing nothing. There are too many legitimate ways of living a profitable life. Don’t get back from here doing nothing because whatsoever He doeth, he shall prosper. He said concerning Job; “hast thou not bless all the works of his hand?” So He blesses what we do. Church Gist. Come-on now. Doing nothing people get nowhere. Ecclesiastes 91:10. Don’t say, I am believing God. Obey Him to believe that you believe Him. He who does not work, let him not eat. Ephesians 4:28. God is saying, “go and find something doing.” Before you get what you are looking for, start doing something with what you have. No single graduate should roam the street not in a Church like this.
I did labour to earn my first pay in year 3 of secondary school. I developed to be a man while I was a child. You can’t keep hanging around. Somebody was teaching extra something classes on NYSC (National Youth Service Corps). He made 2 million from teaching Economics from school to school in the area he served. Wake up! Church Gist. Nobody can make your way for you. You can’t go to Law School for me. If I must be a lawyer, I must go to Law School by myself. You make your way prosperous, you will have good success.
Somebody said, are we not preaching the same thing? No! The question is, are we doing the same thing? Preaching is cheap. Anybody can preach. Get back home and get something doing. I close with this. A young man in Liberia read “Wisdom Diary On Diligence” that living without working is dying without knowing. It’s on page 3 of that book. Church Gist. So he bought a brush and a polish and became a shoe shiner. From there, he built a computer school, he built a storey building in the Nation at the time when storey buildings are like skyscrapers. Go and do something.
Prosperity answers to what we do. “Whatsoever he doeth, he shall prosper.” There are many people in school among you today who will have business before you graduate – flourishing business…whatsoever he doeth, he shall prosper. Church Gist. Because of the prosperity that has come to your parents, don’t rot away. Come forth. Do something with your life.
